If those that have been laid off have been given remuneration packages (ie 3 months payout), I hope Musk will not asked them back as it is his management's fault and no fault of employee. Hope 🙏🙏🙏he is a gentleman and treat the payout as a token of appreciation to those emotionally affected employees. It is a trauma going through the process of can't access to the company and then no access to email system. Next is 3 months payout. If the affected employee has a huge mortgage to pay, he will be so stressed for the next few months. This will be on top of bringing food onto the table.
