USA Rare Earth Receives UK Approval for Acquisition of Less Common Metals

USA Rare Earth has received regulatory approval from the UK Minister of State for its acquisition of Less Common Metals. This approval paves the way for the deal to close as planned in the fourth quarter of 2025. The acquisition will enable USA Rare Earth to accelerate its magnet-to-mine strategy, establishing an end-to-end rare earth supply chain. Less Common Metals will expand its global customer base and supply key products to USA Rare Earth's magnet facility in Stillwater, Oklahoma. The deal is crucial for manufacturing advanced magnets, semiconductors, and aerospace components for various sectors in multiple countries.
