More Gigafactories On The Way

Expansion Plans Updates Tesla has signed contracts worth about $5 billion to buy materials for their batteries from nickel processing companies in Indonesia, a senior cabinet minister told CNBC Indonesia last year. Today, Tesla is reported to be nearing a preliminary deal to build production facilities in Indonesia with a capacity of one million units, Bloomberg News reported on Wednesday, citing people familiar with the matter. Texas Department of Licensing and Registration filings disclosed plans to spend over $770 million on constructing electric vehicle facilities at the Texas factory. Tesla earmarked funds for activities including battery cell testing and manufacturing, cathode and drive unit manufacturing and a die shop, among other things. Tesla makes its electric ca

Tesla nears preliminary deal for Indonesia electric car plant

Tesla Inc. is close to sealing a preliminary deal to set up a factory in Indonesia, according to people familiar with the matter, as Elon Musk’s electric vehicle pioneer looks to capitalize on the Southeast Asian nation’s reserves of key battery metals. The plant would produce as many as 1 million cars a year, the people said, in line with Tesla’s ambition to have all its factories globally reach that capacity. The discussions include plans around multiple facilities in the country, serving different functions across production and the supply chain, one of the people said. A deal hasn’t been signed and the agreement could still fall through, said the people, asking not to be identified as the talks are confidential. Musk and representatives for Tesla didn’t immediately respond to an email

Elon Musk Broke Another Guinness World Record 🤦🏻‍♂️

Took a put at 10:40am for a quick 17% gain from the downtrend. The stock was the weakest and the short is timely but the premium wasn't too attractive. Expect choppy trades leading to CPI reading on Thursday for the big moves. According to the Guinness World Records, the loss by Musk in 2022 tops the previous record holder Masayoshi Son, the founder and CEO of Softbank Group Corp (OTC:SFTBY). Son lost $58.6 billion of wealth in 2000 according to the report. Musk has lost $182 billion in wealth since November 2021 according to estimates from Forbes. Other sources pegged the loss at around $200 billion. Regardless of the exact amount, Musk set a record for the biggest loss of wealth in one year and is now the recipient and owner of a Guinness World Record. Musk saw his wealth drop thanks i

Has AAPL bottomed out yet?

Apple's stock$Apple(AAPL)$  price fell 28.16% in 2022. After 2023, Apple fell below the market value mark of $2 trillion. Many people sigh that Apple, the world's highest market value, has also begun to fail. Up to now, Apple's total market value has barely been at $2 trillion, and the TTM price-earnings ratio is about 20 times. Judging from Apple's historical valuation performance, this valuation is not cheap. Because around 2016, Apple's valuation was only about 10 times, and Apple's valuation score is still near 70%. However, compared with nearly 40 times the valuation in the fourth quarter of 2020, Apple's valuation has been given a relatively large discount at present. Now Apple is not cheap or expensive. It can

Tesla.$Tesla Motors(TSLA)$  With such a price reduction, none of the more than 200,000 markets can play. Tesla is too hard. Why does Tesla cut the price again?  1. Tesla is currently the highest profit margin among new energy vehicle companies, and it does have the confidence to reduce prices. 2. From the end of the year's series of promotional activities and higher inventory, the sales of Model 3 and Model Y are weak. One of the most important elements to support Tesla's high profits is scale, so once sales decline, the story cannot continue to be scared.  3. Tesla's product concept is to maximize product advantages, rather than the "barrel theory" adopted by most car companies, where to make up for it; s

I will not buy the dip of $Tesla Motors(TSLA)$ .Tesla's Cinderella ride is officially over. At least that's how one Wall Street analyst is putting it. The electric vehicle-maker's free fall accelerated on Tuesday after the company said it delivered fewer vehicles in 2022 than it initially targeted. It reported global deliveries of roughly 405,000 for the fourth quarter of 2022, bringing the annual total to roughly 1.3 million. While that was 40% higher than last year, it was below analyst expectations that had already been guided down, as well as below the company’s target of 50% growth in deliveries a year “over a multiyear horizon.” The start of a new year didn't bring any relief for Tesla stock after a rough 2022. The shares finished

From a long-term investment perspective, $Tesla Motors(TSLA)$  has a lot of potential. This company isn’t just a play on the EV growth story. Instead, it’s a play on EVs, self-driving technology, artificial intelligence, batteries and renewable energy, robotics, and more. Tesla has grown its sales by around 150% over the last three years, is expected to keep growing at a rapid pace in the years ahead. For 2022 and 2023, Wall Street analysts expect it to generate revenue of $83.5bn and $116.6bn respectively. These figures represent growth of about 55% and 40%. In the short term however, I see a number of factors that could potentially send Tesla’s share price lower. One major issue right now is Musk’s purchase o

Tesla does have on going issues with their cars and other car manufacturers are doing quite well, will other manufacturers take over the spot light of Telsa. The way Samsung is going with the issues with the latest update could some consumers cross over to apple over Samsung. However Apple has had major issues but still going well.

First of all, I think the decline in US stocks in general is closely related to the lack of optimism. Coupled with the smashing of large constituent stocks such as Tesla $Tesla Motors(TSLA)$ and Apple$Apple(AAPL)$ , the S & P 500 Index fell$Nasdaq100 Bear 3X ETF(SQQQ)$  0.40% to close at 3824.14 points, and the Dow closed down 10.88 points to 33136.37 points, a decrease of 0.03%. The Nasdaq$NASDAQ(.IXIC)$  fell 0.76% to 10,386.99 points; it became the open door in 2023. If the January effe
