Elon Musk's no nonsense management style, let's take a look

A company performance is closing tied to the leadership style of their CEO. Elon Musk's recent acquisition of Twitter gave us a peek into his management methods as he seemingly attempts to transform Twitter's culture to a 'hardcore' one having warned that Twitter might face bankruptcy if no drastic changes are made.  Technical Qualification Over Education Qualification  In a 2014 interview, Musk said he looked for "evidence of exceptional ability" in a potential employee, rather than a degree from a prestigious university. High Expectations and Results Driven  Employees are expected to provide an update weekly on your work done and low performers are given 4 weeks to improve or will be laid off In a leaked internal memo, Elon Musk

I guess changes might include premium user only features such as zero ads, ability to view (only) private accounts, customisation of account appearance or even special effects. Implementation of more stringent rules or IP checks and running of bots to detect and ban fake accounts, multi-accounts or accounts created with improper agendas. Even with free speech, there has to be limitations on what can posted.

Elon knew that half of the people weren't working he didn't get where he is being stupid. Go to lunch at 12 noon see them in a mall at pm, or mowing the lawn at 3 pm, day after day? Yrs ago I worked at a union job, the guys wanted me to do as they did, go to the mens room and stay 30 minutes. I moved on and up, they were still sitting on the commode the last I knew. Twtr/Elon will make it if the Gov stays out of his business. The Musker has quite a job with Twitter and it's not going to be easy. A lot of bucks down the drain. It's amazing how the old boss did the job....$Twitter(TWTR)$

Twitter in a week ! Looking Good or Bad ?

A lot could happen in a week. I couldn't agree more especially with Twitter. Upon successful takeover on 27 Oct 2022 (Thu); a day before 28 Oct 2022 (Fri) deadline given by Judge Kathaleen St. J. McCormick, Chief judge of Delaware's Chancery Court whom is known to be fair and no nonsense - a lot of things have definitely taken place.Don't worry its nothing too heavy or serious to digest. Its weekend (Sunday) afterall. Spent better part of the day reading and compiling all that have taken place. Before jumping into that, let's review / recap what I have posted earlier on the possible retrenchment etc.. Ready ? Here we go....Update of Original post and the New beginningOriginal dream team - where are they now ?There were rumours that mr musk had to retrench

TESLA

Elon Musk threatens ‘thermonuclear name and shame’ Twitter owner Elon Musk has warned that he may identify advertisers that are boycotting his social media platform under pressure from leftist groups, a move that would likely trigger counter-boycotts as the billionaire’s supporters push back against corporate America in defense of free speech. “A thermonuclear name and shame is exactly what will happen if this continues,” Musk said on Friday night, referring to the sharp drop in revenue that he’s seen at Twitter because activist groups are pressuring advertisers to stop using the platform. He made the comment in response to a Twitter post by former US Senate aide Mike Davis, who suggested that exposing the advertisers would enable Musk’s 114 million followers on the platform to launch

Musk will get rid of those people who against him or in the past, didn't do justice to Twitter. Judging on the way he did last week yo those top management, we can see what direction he is taking. Hence, the best for Twitter's employees, if they still want their job, is to follow his instructions and no derivations. Otherwise, they will be send off to the door. During this time of potential recession and surges of covid, people are careful of their spending. Bringing food to the table is more important than "fighting" against the new boss whom they might not have agreement upon. Good luck 🍀🍀🍀🍀

Musk will run the company to make it profitable. I am sure as a business man, he will not want to lose money  for his investment.

What is next for Twitter after firing 3 execs ? Really dislike the choice of word "fired" used. A more civilised alternative could be : a. made redundant, b. retrenched c. asked to go etc..." There are more than one way to skin a cat no ? Hmm.... To know whether Mr Trump will return to TWTR is to recognize basic traits of men with big egos. What are they ? 1. Self absorbed. 2. Talks more than listen. 3. Lives 24x7 in front of a media platform. 4. Talk as if he/she is subject matter expertise. 5. Hypocritical. After a very public spate between the 2 men this Jul 2022 with : a. ex-president calling mr musk a "bullshxt artist" and divulging his state of desperateness seeking fundings for Tesla's & SpaceX's when the companies were still in infant stage. b. musk understandly embarrassed, re

$Twitter(TWTR)$ Lots of people on here dont seem to understand that this stock wont exist. It wont matter to anyone but Musk if everyone quits. Musk will be the single and only shareholder. Thats what "taking private" means. Consider yourselves extremely winning lottery ticket holding lucky that you will have $54.20 in cash for each share you held.

A New Twitter?

$Twitter(TWTR)$Twitter under Elon Musk is going to emphasize freedom of speech that I think is a double-edged sword. While the lifting of speech restrictions encourages freedom of expression of one’s views and open exchanges of opinions, it may promote misinformation and false news unconsciously or intentionally spread. I believe some degree of oversight is still necessary. Twitter is going to welcome back Trump previously banned for his misconduct. Trump is expected to take advantage of the platform to again proclaim election frauds and announce his comeback for the next presidential election. Elon Musk has admitted his overpayment for buying out Twitter. As a visionary person full of ideas, he is bound to monetise the social media platform beyon

A new era has begun in Twitter under the control of "Chief Twit" Elon Musk.    Twitter shareholders can now celebrate and collect their payout of USD54.20 per share.  What happens next? There will be further layoffs after Musk has fired Twitter's Top Executives including Parag Agrawal, Ned Segal and Vijaya Gadde.  However these executives will stand to receive separation payouts amounting to USD 122 million which includes a collective USD 65 million from Elon Musk in exchange for shares they held in Twitter which he has now privatised.  This is according to research firm Equilar. Within hours of the acquisition, Elon Musk has been inundated with requests from banned account holders.  One of the most visible banned account holders is Donald Trump.  Donald
