A few months ago, we mourned the death of a Queen, an icon of the Monarchy in England. Today, we mourn the death of a King, not by noble blood but his wizardry on the field. Born in Brazil on the 23 of Oct 1940, Edson Arantes do Nascimento, otherwise known fondly as Pele, enthralled us on the football field. Known as the greatest soccer player ever, he won 3 world cups (1958, 1962, 1970).  Yet despite his achievements, he always remained down to earth, humble and kind.  Unlike some players of today, the biggest thing about Pele was not his ego, but his heart. He used his fame as a player to become a UNESCO Ambassador and prompted several charities. Although he was not perfect, he was known as a affable person who gave a voice to the poor. "The game. Playing football everyday (almost!) When you talk about football, it played a big part of my childhood. Back then, there was no internet, no online games, no mobile devices. Apple was not even heard of then. The apple I knew was a fruit. I grew up with a lot of play pretend and physical toys some I actually built myself from scratch because toys were not really priority.  When it was time to play, the kids will swarm the playground and empty grass patch (Believeit or not. There was plenty everywhere!). And don't forget the beloved void decks! Kids will be playing plastic balls at the void decks and neighbours will come and give pointers. Football ⚽️ is a more than a game and sports. It teaches one to be strong and strive. No one will win all the time, so accepting every defeat and learning from mistakes and shortfalls will make one grow stronger and wiser. During every match, every sportsman may fall and suffer from injury, but he will stand up, persevere, and continue to fight and achieve his dream goals. There will not be regrets as long he has given his best.

I always bet last match championship instead of lose or win for World Cup better to have 1/2 chance to win  Like I bet Argentina champions instead of they win  Usually is to irritate people  Sometimes I might
