Telsa is currently bearish due to china plant productions issue and Elon is going after growth of the company rather than profits . Once China production is stable and new model are coming up ,we will start to see the trend bullish again

Tesla reached August 2020 low, gives up most of pandemic gains

Tesla stock touched yet another multi-year low on Tuesday, leading a day of deep declines across the EV sector. Shares of the Austin-based automaker slid over 9% on Tuesday amid reports of production pauses in Shanghai, bottoming at $111.60. The intraday low marked the lowest level for the stock since August 2020 and takes year to date declines to over 70%. Adding to pressure on the sector was an adverse delivery outlook from Nio Inc, which signals yet more trouble for demand in the Chinese market. Shares of the Chinese EV maker slipped 8.48% into afternoon trading on Tuesday. Li Auto -1.78% and Xpeng -2.28% marked comparatively more modest declines, but still defied a generally positive day for China stocks amid the pullback of pandemic restrictions. Alibaba gained 4.92%, Pinduoduo

$XPeng Inc.(XPEV)$  Globally, $Tesla Motors(TSLA)$ leads all others, selling 936,000 units in 2021 (giving the company a market share of ~14%). Close behind was the Volkswagen Group (11%), BYD (9%), GM (7.6%) etc. Although China has the biggest market for EVs at 34%, there's price war among the different EVs and you can see that most of the China's EV companies are not making significant progress in their car deliveries. Taking XPeng as an example, since hitting the peak of 16k car deliveries in Dec 2021, the number has been decreasing and mostly remained stagnant at around 10k. For Q3 22, Xpeng delivered Jul22 - 11,524 cars Aug22 - 9,578 cars Sep22 - 8,468 cars Clearly, it's a challenging to scale up the car deliver

Tesla: Driving off a cliff?

Ok here's where things are getting interesting for me. It's a cliff-hanger to be certain. $Tesla Motors(TSLA)$ just dropped 5% premarket to $117 on 27 Dec (SGT). I don't know why but I have a feeling it will fall past the support of $110. It is certainly a bear's dream as they continue to short Tesla and make big bucks from it. But what's going on with Tesla? Is it: 1. It's possible suspension of production last week in Shang Hai? 2. Investors losing confidence and patience with Elon Musk? 3. Elon warning for those who traded on margins and are at risk of "mass panic" due to fall of Tesla's share price. It is strange isn't it, that a company with a good business model going down because of the CEO's antics. Havi

Trade Idea: NIO

I am NEUTRAL on $NIO Inc.(NIO)$ at these levels. Here's a look at the stock's daily chart: The stock appears to be trading in an ascending broadening wedge pattern after a lengthy downtrend that began in January 2021. This pattern is characterised by higher highs and higher lows that "broaden" out. Based on the historical trendline I have drawn, the stock is near the lower trendline. It is also below all the daily moving averages and below the middle Bollinger Band. This means that there are two possibilities with the stock: Possibility 1: The stock breaks below the lower trendline and resumes the downtrend, forming lower lows in the process. While Nio has international operations outside of China, I think it would still

Who should be Twitter CEO after Elon Musk steps down? Let's speculate for fun

Elon Musk finally broke his silence after the poll concluded where voters voted that he should step down as head of Twitter. He didn't layout specifically the requirements of the new CEO, broadly suggesting that he must have the ability to keep Twitter alive Let's speculate who can take over, this is of course for entertainment purposes and I will be surprised if anyone below is selected except maybe the last candidate Jack Dorsey Former CEO of Twitter, I think no one knows the inside out of Twitter more than Jack. With full control of the company, Jack may finally fulfill his vision of Twitter without hitting roadblocks from the management team previously which ultimately led to him leaving the company Tweet back in 2020 Sheryl Sandberg Former COO of Meta (stepped d

$Tesla Motors(TSLA)$  Tesla China sales, including exports, hit a record in November following recent Shanghai capacity increases. But Tesla is offering fresh China price discounts amid increasing reports that it plans to slash or even suspend Shanghai output. It's also offering various year-end incentives in Europe and the U.S. Tesla stock has fallen on those signs of weak demand, concerns about Elon Musk's tweets on Tesla's brand, and further Musk share sales. Tesla shares have plunged to bear market lows, suffering its worst weekly loss since the Covid crash. Tesla at 25-month low, and has given up more than half of its pandemic gains and down 65% in 2022. Reports emerge that the search for a Twitter CEO could possibly take weeks or months, keeping Elon Musk distracted from Tesla issues. Current forward PE stands at 36x earnings.  Tesla will report Q4 deliveries in 2 weeks, and is expected to delivery between 450K and 465K for the quarter, with Giga Berlin and Giga Austin contributing. The bulls will be looking for50% production growth to spark a rally in Tesla's shares in 2023.  $Tesla Motors(TSLA)$  @TigerStars

$Tesla Motors(TSLA)$ would be a good buy for a short term trade, especially if Musk's Twitter exit plays out, and he returns to govern TSLA and soothe investors worries. Might want to be cautious in view of 2023 headwinds though, especially with liquidity drying out.  Recommend to DCA slowly ivo recession fears and a tightening monetary policy. Tesla still has a wide moat in terms of the electric auto industry, so it is still a good buy. That being said, the Chinese carmakers are catching up in terms of technology, and might be able to mass produce for the wider market at a cheaper price, adding on to the competition for the electric automobile industry market share.

$Tesla Motors(TSLA)$ Sounds like a great opportunity. But we aren't Elon Musk, we don't know what is he thinking. After his decision to leave the CEO of Twitter to someone else, I assume he decided to take some actions to appease the demands of fellow shareholders since Elon neglected Tesla. Expecting Tesla to drop to 145 to 150, before rising to 170, hoping by the end of the year. Huat ah!
