$Quhuo Ltd Congratulations to trade who had bought for scalp and day trade during pre market and sold at $2.2 . BIGGEST Stock Rally Since 2020 🥳 11 months. That's how long investors have been enduring this painful and volatile market this year. Finally, it looks like it may all come to an end very soon. After all, last week, we just witnessed the biggest stock rally since 2020. Stocks ended off the week with a fantastic 5.8% gain. This comes after a deceleration in CPI data last Thursday, which gave signs to investors that the FED may halt the tightening of financial conditions as soon as early next year. Given how most of the volatility this year came from FED-influenced news/policies... The newly released CPI result is extremely good news for us.

Sell low for sure, now that the paper loss has materialise. Anyway, if the share price has drop yo point of no return with the company performing poorly, it's a no-brainer to sell low to invest the remaining funds elsewhere, assuming there is anything left [LOL]

Buy high is my usual method but hold. At least then you still own a share of a company. If you sell you are out with no hopes of gain or dividends.

Buy high & sell Low? Is it true that this is done only by retail investors? I seriously doubt so.Just look at Cathie woods for validation.Big name investors and fund managers also make errors and ending up buying high and selling Low.Buying high is influenced by greed and FOMO, while selling Low is influenced by fear. Greed & fear are always the 2 emotions thatinvestors need to master before they tear the portfolio apart. When comparing Buying High & Selling low, I will prefer to look at which is a viable strategy. Selling Low locks in losses. It involves loss of capital and although we can say that we do fund rotation by taking loss and transferring to another opportunity, it doesn't wash away the fact that the losses are real and incurred. However, wh

Quote of the day

"If you are on the wrong track, run is also useful." This is an important reason why it is recommended to sell poor quality stock. This is especially true for investment. Choosing the right track is more important than running hard, because good companies are easy to emerge on the good track. To invest in the "three good" students, you must choose a good industry, a good company, and a good price. In the industry, choice is more important than diligence, and choosing a track is twice the result with half the effort. To choose growth industries, industries in the early stage of the life cycle, these industries are often easy to create huge value increments.Of course, there are many industries, or all industries will mature. At this time, it depends on the competition structure of the

Bernard Baruch’s 10 Investing Rules

Bernard Baruch was an American financier and foreign policy adviser to Presidents Wilson, Roosevelt, and Truman. After becoming attaining great success as an investor, Baruch left Wall Street in 1916 to advise President Woodrow Wilson on issues of foreign policy and national defense. During the Second World War, his close personal friend, President Franklin Roosevelt, tapped him as an adviser. In 1943, Roosevelt offered Baruch the chance to lead the War Production Board, before ultimately reneging. He was often referred to as the “elder statesman” because through three wars the presidents of our country called upon him for his advice and expertise.Bernard Baruch once said that Wall Street provided an extended course on investor behavior. It taught him that human nature was the driving force

Definitely buy the rip is more painful than buy the dip, because rip will be plunging and plunging to the bottom and to no return. Yes, I do have this kind of heart breaking moments but I hope this will be a lesson learnt for me.

To me, sell low hurts more than buy high. In fact, it is not unusual for the stock price to drop further after I have bought. If it is a fundamentally strong company with growth potential suffering from temporary setback or poor market sentiments, I would gladly take the opportunity to accumulate more shares as the price falls.I seldom buy all the shares I want of a company at one go, as I prefer to split my purchases into tranches and dollar-cost average over time, regardless of the stock price movements. Hence, I’ll have to pay more if the stock price rises sharply after my initial order.I ensure that I have holding power by not going all-in in my investments. Hence, I would not be forced to sell low or liquidate my holdings at an unfavourable price. My holding period is forever for good
