Roku remains among the firm’s biggest holdings, accounting for 6.5% of the flagship ARK Innovation exchange-traded fund (ticker ARKK), according to data compiled by Bloomberg, worth more than $1.4 billion.</p>\n<p>Yet it may surprise some market participants to see the sales, given Wood’s vocal support. She told CNBC in an interview in the middle of the month that it would be a mistake to sell stay-at-home winners.</p>\n<p>A spokesperson for Ark didn’t immediately respond to a request for comment.</p>\n<p>“Wood’s process is to sell winners and buy losers in small daily doses,” said Eric Balchunas, an ETF analyst for Bloomberg Intelligence. “Roku has been the biggest contributor to ARKK’s returns this year so it would be consistent with her strategy to lock in some of those gains and buy into stocks she likes but have struggled.”</p>\n<p>Wood’s stellar performance in 2020 and tech-focused thematic bets have made her into a star money manager with more than a million social media followers. Some of her high-profile adjustments haven’t worked out, such as Ark’s decision to sell out of <a href=\"https://laohu8.com/S/SPCE.WS\">Virgin Galactic Holdings Inc</a>. before the shares more than trebled.</p>\n<p>Others have proved more prescient. For example, Wood sold most of the firm’s China shares before the worst of this year’s selloff.</p>\n<p>Roku’s second-quarter results are due next week. In May its revenue forecast for the quarter topped the average analyst estimate, helping spur the shares. At that time the company had 53.6 million active accounts.</p>\n<p>Ark’s daily trading statement reflects the management team’s active decisions, and does not include any create-redeem activity within its ETFs. Roku remains among the firm’s biggest holdings, accounting for 6.5% of the flagship ARK Innovation exchange-traded fund (ticker ARKK), according to data compiled by Bloomberg, worth more than $1.4 billion.\nYet it may surprise some market participants to see the sales, given Wood’s vocal support. It will account for 41.4% of all online spending in the U.S. this year, according to eMarketer estimates. At the same time, Amazon Web Services (AWS), its cloud infrastructure business, is on track to generate over $60 billion in annual revenue in 2021 based on its year-to-date performance. The company is responsible for thousands of web-based businesses and the federal government's ability to remain online, making Amazon crucial to a well-functioning economy.</p>\n<p>That won't change if the stock market collapses. Its share of U.S. retail e-commerce sales will be more than 50% larger than the shares of the next nine e-commerce companies combined. Amazon's piece of the online market is nearly six times more than <b>Walmart</b>'s second-place share at just 7.2%, and 10 times greater than third-place <b><a href=\"https://laohu8.com/S/EBAY\">eBay</a></b>. E-commerce data tracker Edge by Ascential expects Amazon will see $26.7 billion just in online grocery sales five from now years, or nearly double its current amount.</p>\n<p>Amid rising prices and supply chain woes, Amazon has become a lifeline for many, and that will continue long after any financial restructuring.
