If you're not familiar with Vertex, its claim to fame over the last decade has been its cystic fibrosis (CF) therapies. Sales of its four medicines for CF led to net income of more than $3.2 billion in 2022. Given that CF is a rare genetic pulmonary disease that only affects 88,000 people in the Western world, and that the company already treats all but around 25,000 of them, its mastery of the market is hard to overstate.

@HLPA:One day UP, next day DOWN... What do you do with the current stock markets  all over the world? If you want to be bullish, many analysts' reportscan provide you. Similarly, thereare many bearish outlooks by other analysts. The important thing to know is just to enjoy reading these bullish and bearish reports, and make your own due diligence. You need to stay invested and not stay out of of the markets to enjoy peofits in good times and bad. Best advice I have is to invest in blue chips and the megacap stocks as they are the ones which can weather any macroeconomic storms. When these great stocks like AAPL, ANZ, BABA or DBS drop,  buy more to average down yourcost. When good times return, you will be laughing all the way to the bank! Stay invested and good luck!
