U.S. banks cleared their annual stress test exerciselast week.</p><p>The U.S. FederalReserve said on Thursday the country's largest lenders could easily weather a severe economic downturn, giving them a clean bill of health and paving the way for them to redistribute excess capital to shareholders.</p><p>The results allowed banks to announce higher dividends despite the Fed's test being tougher than in 2021, pushing up some lenders' required capital buffers more than expected.</p><p>However, JPMorgan & ChaseĀ and CitigroupĀ kept their payout flat, as a challenging economic environment may require more capital. Citi will likely give an update on its capital plans at its upcoming earnings on July 15, a source familiar with the situation said.</p><p>This year's dividend hikes were more subdued than in 2021, a bumper year for big bank capital payouts, after lenders amassed piles of excess cash during the pandemic to cover loan losses that never materialized. Morgan Stanley, for instance, doubled its dividend in June 2021.</p><p>Under the annual stress test exercise established following the 2007-2009 financial crisis, the Fed assesses how banks' balance sheets would fare against a hypothetical severe economic downturn. The results dictate how much capital banks need to be healthy and how much they can return to shareholders.</p><p>Goldman Sachs said on Monday it would hike its dividend by 25%, to $2.50 per share, and Morgan Stanley said it plans an increase to 77.5 cents per share and a share buyback program of $20 billion. Bank of America raised its dividend by 5% to 22 cents per share and Wells Fargo said it expects to hike its dividend to 30 cents from 25 cents a share.</p><p>Shares in Morgan Stanley jumped 3.5% after hours, while Goldman rose 1.4%.</p><p>JPMorgan maintained its dividend at $1.00 a share, citing "higher future capital requirements." Citi also said it would be able to keep it flat at 51 cents "in a range of stress scenarios."</p><p>The test sets each bank's "stress capital buffer," an extra capital cushion on top of the regulatory minimum. The size is determined by each bank's hypothetical losses under the test.</p><p></p><p>Banks announced their new stress capital buffers (SCB) on Monday, which come into effect later this year, giving them time to rejig their balance sheets.</p><p>Citigroup, JPMorgan and Bank of America said their stress capital buffer would increase, confirming analysts' expectations. At Bank of America and JPMorgan, that increase would be driven by higher credit provisions, whereas Citi would be hit by higher trading losses, lower fee income and higher expenses, analysts said based on the tests' results.</p><p>"Each of these banks saw estimated SCBs up by 80-100 bps, relative to limited excess capital, which is greater than what we or the market anticipated," Goldman Sachs analysts wrote on Friday, after the stress test results were announced.</p><p>As a result, analysts were expecting those three banks would keep dividends flat and eliminate or reduce share buybacks to boost their capital.</p><p>Gerard Cassidy, head of U.S. Bank Equity Strategy at RBC Capital Markets, said on Monday, ahead of the banks' announcements, that rising loan growth and accounting losses banks have taken on banks bond portfolios due to interest rate hikes, have put pressure on banks' capital.</p><p>"It's clearly going to be different this than last year for those reasons," he added.</p><p>See below the announced changes in dividends.</p><table><thead></thead><tbody><tr><td>Bank</td><td>Previous</td><td>New</td></tr><tr><td>JPMorgan & Chase</td><td>$1.00</td><td>$1.00</td></tr><tr><td>Goldman Sachs</td><td>$2.00</td><td>$2.50</td></tr><tr><td>Citigroup</td><td>$0.51</td><td>$0.51</td></tr><tr><td>Morgan Stanley</td><td>$0.70</td><td>$0.775</td></tr><tr><td>Bank of America</td><td>$0.21</td><td>$0.22</td></tr><tr><td>Wells Fargo</td><td>$0.25</td><td>$0.30</td></tr></tbody></table><p></p></body></html>","collect":0,"html":"<!DOCTYPE html>\n<html>\n<head>\n<meta http-equiv=\"Content-Type\" content=\"text/html; But there will be updates on service sector activity in June on Tuesday from both IHS Markit and ISM, followed by May job openings data and minutes from the Fed's latest Federal Open Market Committee on Wednesday.\n\"We are eyes wide open,\" said Caputo at J O Hambro, adding that European markets could still push higher, given that the region remains in an earlier stage of recovery than the U.S. and with its approval last week of sweeping a climate law , dubbed the European Green Deal.\n\"The crisis brought Europe together.\"","news_type":1},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":419,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":152192086,"gmtCreate":1625274444045,"gmtModify":1703739713096,"author":{"id":"3571048041730045","authorId":"3571048041730045","name":"zeyi","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/adbf7f3ce1d7d65767b0d886437e62b4","crmLevel":2,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"authorIdStr":"3571048041730045","idStr":"3571048041730045"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"Buy the dip and you will be good. The company has been losing ground to NVIDIA since the latter launched theRTX 30 series cardstoward the end of 2020. AMD was in resurgent mode prior to the arrival of the RTX 30 series cards -- its Navi GPUs weremaking a nice dentin NVIDIA's graphics card supremacy a year ago. But that isn't the case anymore.</p>\n<p>Jon Peddie Research estimates that discrete GPU shipments shot up 24.4% year-over-year. The market generated $12.5 billion in revenue in Q1, a 370% spike over the prior-year period, thanks to a jump in the average selling prices (ASPs) triggered by huge demand and short supply. NVIDIA's massive market share means that it has won big from this spike, which is reflected in its Q1 performance.</p>\n<p>NVIDIA's gaming revenue more than doubled year-over-year in the first quarter of fiscal 2022 to $2.76 billion. AMD's computing and graphics segment, which also includes the sales of its Ryzen desktop and notebook processors, grew at a relatively slower pace of 46% year-over-year to $2.1 billion in Q1.</p>\n<p>Jon Peddie Research estimates that the discrete GPU market could be worth $54 billion by 2025, compared to $23.6 billion last year. NVIDIA's dominant position should allow it to corner a substantial portion of that pie in the future, especially considering its moves to strengthen its position.</p>\n<p><b>AMD's resistance may not be enough</b></p>\n<p>AMD has been trying to put up a fight against NVIDIA, and it did show some progress last quarter, registering a quarter-over-quarter market share gain of one percentage point. However, AMD is now looking to raise its game with a new technology, the FidelityFX Super Resolution (FSR). This will compete with NVIDIA's deep learning super sampling (DLSS) image upscaling technology, which helps games look better and run smoother.</p>\n<p>AMD's internal tests claim that its new tech can help games run at 59% higher frame rates on ultra-quality settings. The chipmaker also claims that FSR could increase gaming performance by 2.5 times in certain titles using the performance setting. In addition, AMD says that FSR supports a wide range of hardware that includes more than 100 processors and graphics cards thanks to its open-source nature.</p>\n<p>FSR will launch on June 22, and it could give AMD a nice boost in the GPU market. However, only time will tell if the new technology will translate into sales for AMD, given that its rival's DLSS tech is already in its second generation.</p>\n<p>However, it is worth noting that NVIDIA is trying to cover as much of the GPU market as possible with new launches. The company recently released the RTX 3080 Ti and the RTX 3070 Ti GPUs, priced at $1,199 and $599, respectively. NVIDIA is giving users of older graphics cards a solid reason to upgrade with these cards. It claims that the RTX 3080 Ti is twice as fast as the older GTX 1080 Ti, while the RTX 3070 Ti delivers 1.5x the performance of the RTX 2070 Super.</p>\n<p>NVIDIA is also stepping up its game in the laptop market with the launch of entry-level graphics cards. The company now offers more than 140 laptop models powered by the RTX 30 cards across a wide range of prices. And NVIDIA is showing no signs of losing its grip over the graphics card market, according to the latest market share numbers providedĀ by Jon Peddie Research.\nLet's see why that bodes well for NVIDIA, and makes it a better bet than arch-rival AMD.\nIMAGE SOURCE: GETTY IMAGES\nNVIDIA stamps its authority on graphics cards once again\nNVIDIAĀ finished 2020 withĀ 82% of the discrete graphics card market under its control, while AMD held the rest. The company's impressive momentum has spilled over into 2021, as it occupied 81% of the market in Q1. That was a nice increaseĀ over the year-ago period's market share of 75%.\nAMD, on the other hand, lost market share for yet another quarter. The company has beenĀ losing groundĀ to NVIDIA since the latter launched theĀ RTX 30 series cardsĀ toward the end of 2020. AMD was in resurgent mode prior to the arrival of the RTX 30 series cards -- its Navi GPUs wereĀ making a nice dentĀ in NVIDIA's graphics card supremacy a year ago. But that isn't the case anymore.\nNVIDIA stamps its authority on graphics cards once again\nNVIDIAfinished 2020 with82% of the discrete graphics card market under its control, while AMD held the rest. The company's impressive momentum has spilled over into 2021, as it occupied 81% of the market in Q1. That was a nice increaseĀ over the year-ago period's market share of 75%.\nAMD, on the other hand, lost market share for yet another quarter. The company has beenĀ losing groundĀ to NVIDIA since the latter launched theRTX 30 series cardstoward the end of 2020. AMD was in resurgent mode prior to the arrival of the RTX 30 series cards -- its Navi GPUs weremaking a nice dentin NVIDIA's graphics card supremacy a year ago. But that isn't the case anymore.\nJon Peddie Research estimates that discrete GPU shipments shot up 24.4% year-over-year. The market generated $12.5 billion in revenue in Q1, a 370% spike over the prior-year period, thanks to aĀ jump in the average selling pricesĀ (ASPs) triggered by huge demand and short supply. NVIDIA's massive market share means that it has won big from this spike, which is reflected in its Q1 performance.\nNVIDIA's gaming revenue more than doubledĀ year-over-year in the first quarter of fiscal 2022 to $2.76 billion. AMD's computing and graphics segment, which also includes the sales of its Ryzen desktop and notebook processors, grew at a relatively slower pace of 46% year-over-year to $2.1 billion in Q1.\nJon Peddie Research estimates that the discrete GPU market could be worth $54 billion by 2025, compared to $23.6 billion last year. NVIDIA's dominant position should allow it to corner a substantial portion of that pie in the future, especially considering its moves to strengthen its position.\nAMD's resistance may not be enough\nAMD has been trying to put up a fight against NVIDIA, and it did show some progress last quarter, registering a quarter-over-quarter market share gain of one percentage point. However, AMD is now looking to raise its game with a new technology, the FidelityFX Super Resolution (FSR). This will compete with NVIDIA's deep learning super sampling (DLSS) image upscaling technology, which helps games look better and run smoother.\nAMD's internal tests claim that its new tech can help games run at 59% higher frame rates on ultra-quality settings. The chipmaker also claims that FSR could increase gaming performance by 2.5 times in certain titles using the performance setting. In addition, AMD says that FSR supports a wide range of hardware that includes more than 100 processors and graphics cards thanks to its open-source nature.\nFSR will launch on June 22, and it could give AMD a nice boost in the GPU market. However, only time will tell if the new technology will translate into sales for AMD, given that its rival's DLSS tech is already in its secondĀ generation.\nHowever, it is worth noting that NVIDIA is trying to cover as much of the GPU market as possible with new launches. The company recently released the RTX 3080 Ti and the RTX 3070 Ti GPUs, priced at $1,199 and $599, respectively. NVIDIA is giving users of older graphics cards a solid reason to upgrade with these cards. It claims that the RTX 3080 Ti is twice as fast as the older GTX 1080 Ti, while the RTX 3070 Ti delivers 1.5x the performance of the RTX 2070 Super.\nNVIDIA is alsoĀ stepping up its gameĀ in the laptop market with the launch of entry-level graphics cards. The company now offers more than 140 laptop models powered by the RTX 30 cards across a wide range of prices. This puts NVIDIA in a solid position in the fast-growing gaming laptop market, which is expected to hit $15.6 billion in revenue by 2027, compared to $9 billion in 2019.\nAll of this indicates that NVIDIA's gaming business could sustain its terrific levels of growth for a long time to come, especially considering that a huge chunk of gamers haveĀ yet to upgradeĀ to its latest cards.\nMeanwhile, the growth of AMD's gaming business is nowhere close to NVIDIA's, and the situation is unlikely to change given the latter's supremacy in this space. That's why investors looking to take advantage of the booming market for discrete graphics cards and add aĀ top growth stockĀ to their portfolios should choose NVIDIA. The connection is simple: Government spending is going up ā as exemplified by the $1.9 trillion COVID stimulus bill passed this month, stimulative cash infusions into the economy are likely to boost consumer spending, and there are worries that the Biden Administration has no plans to pay for its increased spending.Several tax proposals made into the Democratic Party discourse in last yearās election, and President Biden was elected on at least an implicit promise to raise taxes on wealthier taxpayers.Should the progressive Democrats push these proposals into law, it will make an immediate, and likely negative, impact on the stock markets. And that brings us to dividend stocks. These traditionally defensive investments offer investors a ready income stream through the dividend payments, no matter how the market moves. The key factor is the yield, or the return rate of the dividend.Wall Streetās analysts have been doing some of the footwork for us, pinpointing dividend-paying stocks that have kept up high yields, at least 8% to be exact. Opening up theĀ TipRanks database, we examine the details behind those payments to find out what else makes these stocks compelling buys.Arbor Realty Trust (ABR)The first dividend stock weāll look at is Arbor Realty Trust, a direct lender in the apartment complex segment. Arbor funds small loans for Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac; in the fourth quarter last year, ending on December 31, the company originated over $2.7 billion in loans.Arbor's business is growing, and that is visible in both the companyās stock value and the quarterly results. ABR reported year-over-year revenue increases in each quarter of 2020 ā even in the first quarter, during which EPS came in negative due to the corona crisis. In the most recent quarter, 4Q20, the company showed $125.6 million in total revenues, up 54% from the year ago quarter. EPS came in at 80 cents per share, compared to 72 cents in Q3 and 34 cents in 4Q19. Turning to the share value, ABR is up 211% in the last 12 months, far outpacing the broader markets. The company also provides investors with a strong dividend. Arbor has a 2-year history of keeping the payment reliable, and the current payment, sent out earlier this month for 33 cents per common share, marked the seventh dividend increase in the last 9 quarters. At $1.32 annualized, the dividend yields 8.57%, far higher than the 1.78% average found among peer companies.5-star analyst Stephen DeLaney, of JMP, is impressed with Arborās overall position, especially regarding the company's ability to produce strong agency volumes.\"Agency originations in the fourth quarter were $2.75B, an impressive increase of 88% from $1.47B in the third quarter. The pipeline for new originations is showing no signs of a slowdown yet and the company expects the agency lending momentum to continue into the first half of 2021. The agency servicing portfolio now sits at $24.6B and produces ~ $110M of recurring annual revenue, which is largely prepayment protected,\" DeLaney wrote.DeLaney points out that agency credit quality remains solid, noting: \"Loans in payment forbearance remain manageable with just 0.5% in Arborās $18.3B Fannie portfolio, while loans in forbearance in the companyās $4.9B Freddie Mac portfolio totaled 5.2%.\"To this end, DeLaney rates ABR shares an Outperform (i.e. Buy), and his $18 price target implies a 16% upside for the coming year.Overall, there are 4 recent reviews on file for Arbor Realty, and they are all Buys ā making the analyst consensus view here a Strong Buy. The average price target currently stands at $16.75, which indicates room for 8% growth from current levels. (See ABR stock analysis on TipRanks)Mobile Telesystems (MBT)Next up, weāll switch lanes and look at Russiaās largest mobile network operator. Mobile and wireless networks are big business, and Mobile Telesystems (MTS) operates in Russia, Belarus, and Armenia. The company offers a range of services, including cellular networks; local telephone service; and broadband.MTS doesnāt put its eggs in one basket. The company announced last week a $10 million stake in the AI chip developing Kneron, an investment that it hopes will pay for itself through chip distribution rights in Russia and the development of an exclusive line of AI-enabled smart devices. In its recent Q4/full year 2020 report, MTS showed positive growth on a number of key metrics. The companyās total group revenue for 2020 grew 5.2% year-over-year, to reach 494.9 billion rubles (US$6.5 billion). This was driven in part by a 6.4% increase in mobile service revenue in Russia during the fourth quarter. MTS showed a sequential quarterly gain of 230,000 active mobile subscribers in Q4. Pay-TV subscriptions grew 44% in 2020, and broadband subscriptions grew more than 10% yoy in the fourth quarter.MTS has an active dividend policy, regularly paying out twice per year, and adjusting the payment in to keep it in line with earnings. The most recent dividend went out in October of last year, at 19 cents per common share. This gives a 9.79% yield, a highly favorable comparison to the average yield found in the tech sector, of less than 1%. Also of note for return-minded investors, the companyās board approved a 15 billion ruble stock buyback in 2021. This comes to $198 million in US currency.J.P. Morgan analyst Alexei Gogolev takes a bullish stance on Mobile Telesystems, noting: āWe are encouraged with MTS strong start of 2021 with continued mobile service growth as well as commitment for higher than expected shareholder remuneration despite elevated capex.\"The analyst added, \"We highlight strong fundamentals in the MTS story, supported by the healthy state of the Russian wireless market and no signs of incremental worsening of competitive positioning. We like MTSā total shareholder returns (which are boosted by both dividends and share buybacks) and view the name as the best way to play the Russian telecom space.āTo this end, Gogolev puts an Overweight (i.e. Buy) rating on MBT shares, and his $11 price target suggest a 33% one-year upside potential. So far, MBT has slipped under the radar of Wall Streetās analyst corps; the dearth of recent reviews leaves the stock with a Moderate Buy consensus rating. The shares are selling for $8.25, with an average price target, $11.10, matching Gogolevās. (See MBT stock analysis on TipRanks)Two Harbors Investment (TWO)Weāll wrap up our high-yield dividend list with Two Harbors Investment, a real estate investment trust (REIT) with a portfolio focus on residential mortgage-backed securities (RMBS) mortgage servicing rights (MSR). The company states that āother financial assetsā make up between 5% and 10% of the portfolio.Looking back at recent performance, Two Harbors shows some mixed results from the end of 2020. In the fourth quarter, the company reported comprehensive income of $113.5 million, compared to $219 million in the previous quarter. Core earnings, however, rose quarter-over-quarter, from $75.5 billion to $82 million. Book value also came in strong at $7.63, up 3.5% from the prior quarter.Like most REITs, Two Harbors pays out a reliable dividend. The company reduced the payment early in 2020, at the height of the COVID pandemic crisis, but has raised it twice since then. The current payment is 17 cents per common share, declared on March 18 for payment on April 29. At this rate, which annualizes to 68 cents, the dividend yields a strong 9.3%.Covering Two Harbors for JMP Securities, analyst Trevor Cranston expects \"attractive dividend to persist,\" and believes \"the company should trade at a higher premium due to generally lower spread risk and low interest rate sensitivity.\"However, Cranston points out that investing in TWO stock is not without risk.\"We view the greatest risk to shares at these levels to be the outstanding lawsuit with the companyās former external manager. While the company has not established a contingent liability and we do not have a reasonable basis for estimating one, we acknowledge the risk that the lawsuit may result in a charge in the future that would lower the companyās book value and, therefore, also likely impact the stock price. While we believe a premium valuation for TWO is justified given fundamentals, we believe investors should also remain aware of this legal situation when investing in the companyās shares,\" Cranston opined. In line with these comments, the analyst rates TWO an Outperform (i.e. Buy), along with an $8 price target to imply a 10% upside.Overall, Two Harbors has 5 recent reviews, and they break down to 3 Buys and 2 Holds, for a Moderate Buy analyst consensus rating. The shares are selling for $7.25, and their $7.75 average target suggests a modest upside of 7%. its","content":"<p>PARIS/SEOUL (Reuters) - Hyundai Motor Group will slash the number of combustion engine models in its line-up to free up resources to invest in electric vehicles (EVs), two people close to the South Korean automaker told Reuters.</p>\n<p>The move will result in a 50% reduction in models powered by fossil fuels, one of the people said, adding the strategy was approved by top management in March.</p>\n<p>\"It is an important business move, which first and foremost allows the release of R&D resources to focus on the rest: electric motors, batteries, fuel cells,\" the person said, without giving a timeframe for the plan.</p>\n<p>While Hyundai did not specifically address a Reuters query on its plans for combustion engine models, it said in an email on Thursday that it was accelerating adoption of eco-friendly vehicles such as hydrogen fuel cell vehicles and battery EVs.</p>\n<p>The automaker added that it aims to gradually expand battery EV offerings in key markets such as the United States, Europe and China with a goal for full electrification by 2040.</p>\n<p>Hyundai Motor Group, which houses Hyundai Motor Co and Kia Corp and Genesis, aims to sell about one million EVs per year by 2025 to achieve a 10% share of the global EV market.</p>\n<p>Facing tightening CO2 emission targets in Europe and China, all major automakers are accelerating their shift to EVs.</p>\n<p>The huge cost of developing electric motors and increasing the driving range of car batteries has already led some to say their days of investing in conventional engines are over.</p>\n<p>\"Hyundai has stopped developing new powertrains for internal combustion engine cars,\" one of the people said.</p>\n<p>PSA Group said in November, shortly before merging with Fiat Chrysler to form Stellantis, that it was no longer investing in combustion engines.</p>\n<p>Daimler (OTC:DDAIF) has recently revamped its combustion engines and executives say the new generation will see it through the electrification process.</p>\n<p>Some car makers have already announced plans to go fully electric, with Sweden's Volvo, which is owned by China's Geely, saying it would do that by 2030.</p>\n<p>Ford Motor (NYSE:F) Co says its line-up in Europe will be fully electric by the same date.</p>\n<p>For Hyundai, which together with Kia is one of the world's top ten auto groups, the move is particularly important because it has one of the broadest ranges of engine and transmission technologies in the industry.</p>\n<p>The group will finalise its strategy to switch to all electric models within the next six months, one source said.</p>\n<p>In April, Hyundai said it would cut the number of its gasoline models in China to 14 from 21 by 2025, while launching new electric models every year starting in 2022.</p>\n<p>In February, the group said it was no longer in talks with Apple (NASDAQ:AAPL) to develop an autonomous vehicle.</p>\n<p>Sources familiar with the matter said the idea of the group becoming a contract manufacturer for Apple encountered strong internal opposition.</p>","collect":0,"html":"<!DOCTYPE html>\n<html>\n<head>\n<meta http-equiv=\"Content-Type\" (Reuters) - Hyundai Motor Group will slash the number of combustion engine models in its line-up to free up resources to invest in electric vehicles (EVs), two people close to the South Korean automaker told Reuters.\nThe move will result in a 50% reduction in models powered by fossil fuels, one of the people said, adding the strategy was approved by top management in March.\n\"It is an important business move, which first and foremost allows the release of R&D resources to focus on the rest: electric motors, batteries, fuel cells,\" the person said, without giving a timeframe for the plan.\nWhile Hyundai did not specifically address a Reuters query on its plans for combustion engine models, it said in an email on Thursday that it was accelerating adoption of eco-friendly vehicles such as hydrogen fuel cell vehicles and battery EVs.\nThe automaker added that it aims to gradually expand battery EV offerings in key markets such as the United States, Europe and China with a goal for full electrification by 2040.\nHyundai Motor Group, which houses Hyundai Motor Co and Kia Corp and Genesis, aims to sell about one million EVs per year by 2025 to achieve a 10% share of the global EV market.\nFacing tightening CO2 emission targets in Europe and China, all major automakers are accelerating their shift to EVs.\nThe huge cost of developing electric motors and increasing the driving range of car batteries has already led some to say their days of investing in conventional engines are over.\n\"Hyundai has stopped developing new powertrains for internal combustion engine cars,\" one of the people said.\nPSA Group said in November, shortly before merging with Fiat Chrysler to form Stellantis, that it was no longer investing in combustion engines.\nDaimler (OTC:DDAIF) has recently revamped its combustion engines and executives say the new generation will see it through the electrification process.\nSome car makers have already announced plans to go fully electric, with Sweden's Volvo, which is owned by China's Geely, saying it would do that by 2030.\nFord Motor (NYSE:F) Co says its line-up in Europe will be fully electric by the same date.\nFor Hyundai, which together with Kia is one of the world's top ten auto groups, the move is particularly important because it has one of the broadest ranges of engine and transmission technologies in the industry.\nThe group will finalise its strategy to switch to all electric models within the next six months, one source said.\nIn April, Hyundai said it would cut the number of its gasoline models in China to 14 from 21 by 2025, while launching new electric models every year starting in 2022.\nIn February, the group said it was no longer in talks with Apple (NASDAQ:AAPL) to develop an autonomous vehicle.\nSources familiar with the matter said the idea of the group becoming a contract manufacturer for Apple encountered strong internal opposition.","news_type":1},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":449,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":132522355,"gmtCreate":1622101595277,"gmtModify":1704179477772,"author":{"id":"3571048041730045","authorId":"3571048041730045","name":"zeyi","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/adbf7f3ce1d7d65767b0d886437e62b4","crmLevel":2,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"3571048041730045","authorIdStr":"3571048041730045"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"Too Citi will likely give an update on its capital plans at its upcoming earnings on July 15, a source familiar with the situation said.</p><p>This year's dividend hikes were more subdued than in 2021, a bumper year for big bank capital payouts, after lenders amassed piles of excess cash during the pandemic to cover loan losses that never materialized. Bank Equity Strategy at RBC Capital Markets, said on Monday, ahead of the banks' announcements, that rising loan growth and accounting losses banks have taken on banks bond portfolios due to interest rate hikes, have put pressure on banks' capital.</p><p>"It's clearly going to be different this than last year for those reasons," he added.</p><p>See below the announced changes in dividends.</p><table><thead></thead><tbody><tr><td>Bank</td><td>Previous</td><td>New</td></tr><tr><td>JPMorgan & Chase</td><td>$1.00</td><td>$1.00</td></tr><tr><td>Goldman Sachs</td><td>$2.00</td><td>$2.50</td></tr><tr><td>Citigroup</td><td>$0.51</td><td>$0.51</td></tr><tr><td>Morgan Stanley</td><td>$0.70</td><td>$0.775</td></tr><tr><td>Bank of America</td><td>$0.21</td><td>$0.22</td></tr><tr><td>Wells Fargo</td><td>$0.25</td><td>$0.30</td></tr></tbody></table><p></p></body></html>","collect":0,"html":"<!DOCTYPE html>\n<html>\n<head>\n<meta http-equiv=\"Content-Type\" content=\"text/html; Citi will likely give an update on its capital plans at its upcoming earnings on July 15, a source familiar with the situation said. This year's dividend hikes were more subdued than in 2021, a bumper year for big bank capital payouts, after lenders amassed piles of excess cash during the pandemic to cover loan losses that never materialized. Morgan Stanley, for instance, doubled its dividend in June 2021.Under the annual stress test exercise established following the 2007-2009 financial crisis, the Fed assesses how banks' balance sheets would fare against a hypothetical severe economic downturn. But that isn't the case anymore.</p>\n<p><b>NVIDIA stamps its authority on graphics cards once again</b></p>\n<p>NVIDIAfinished 2020 with82% of the discrete graphics card market under its control, while AMD held the rest. This puts NVIDIA in a solid position in the fast-growing gaming laptop market, which is expected to hit $15.6 billion in revenue by 2027, compared to $9 billion in 2019.</p>\n<p>All of this indicates that NVIDIA's gaming business could sustain its terrific levels of growth for a long time to come, especially considering that a huge chunk of gamers have yet to upgrade to its latest cards.</p>\n<p>Meanwhile, the growth of AMD's gaming business is nowhere close to NVIDIA's, and the situation is unlikely to change given the latter's supremacy in this space. Gaming is its largest source of revenue, and this business could stay red-hot for a long time.","news_type":1},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":399,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":355514706,"gmtCreate":1617084884705,"gmtModify":1704801756756,"author":{"id":"3571048041730045","authorId":"3571048041730045","name":"zeyi","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/adbf7f3ce1d7d65767b0d886437e62b4","crmLevel":2,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"3571048041730045","authorIdStr":"3571048041730045"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"buybuybuy!","listText":"buybuybuy!","text":"buybuybuy!","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":0,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/355514706","repostId":"2123251014","repostType":4,"repost":{"id":"2123251014","pubTimestamp":1617081499,"share":"https://ttm.financial/m/news/2123251014?lang=&edition=fundamental","pubTime":"2021-03-30 13:18","market":"us","language":"en","title":"3 Big Dividend Stocks Yielding at Least 8%; Analysts Say āBuyā","url":"https://stock-news.laohu8.com/highlight/detail?id=2123251014","media":"TipRanks","summary":"Weāll talk about dividend stocks, but weāll get there through tax policy.
