Participants receive neoadjuvant treatment for up to six months, followed by surgery. The primary objective of the EVANGELINE study is to determine whether the endocrine sensitive disease (ESD) rate, measured by Ki-67 (a proliferation marker prognostic for disease free survival), after four weeks of treatment with (Z)-endoxifen is non-inferior to the ESD rate following treatment with current standard of care, exemestane plus goserelin. Exemestane is an aromatase inhibitor designed to block the synthesis of estrogen and slow the growth of ER+ cancers. Goserelin is a medication given to block the ovaries from making estrogen, which in premenopausal women is associated with significant morbidity and inadequate compliance, which compromises efficacy and increases the risk of mortality. \n</p>\n<p>\n  About Premenopausal Patients with ER+ / HER2- Breast Cancer \n</p>\n<p>\n  Breast cancer is the most frequently diagnosed cancer in premenopausal women worldwide and accounts for almost half of the cancers that occur in women aged 15-49. An overwhelming majority (.APPROX.75%) of premenopausal breast cancer falls under luminal A (ER+/HER2-) or B (ER+/HER2+) subtypes. Ovarian function suppression, when combined with either tamoxifen or an aromatase inhibitor, is the current standard of care for the endocrine management of stage 2 and 3 premenopausal ER+/HER2- breast cancer. \n</p>\n<p>\n  About (Z)-Endoxifen \n</p>\n<p>\n  (Z)-endoxifen is the most active metabolite of the FDA approved Selective Estrogen Receptor Modulator (SERM), tamoxifen. Studies have demonstrated that the therapeutic effects of tamoxifen are driven in a concentration-dependent manner by (Z)-endoxifen. In addition to its potent anti-estrogen effects, (Z)-endoxifen at higher concentrations has been shown to target PKC&lt;BETA&gt;1, a known oncogenic protein. (Z)-endoxifen also appears to deliver similar or even greater bone agonistic effects while resulting in little or no endometrial proliferative effects compared with tamoxifen. \n</p>\n<p>\n  Atossa is developing a proprietary oral formulation of (Z)-endoxifen that does not require liver metabolism to achieve therapeutic concentrations and is encapsulated to bypass the stomach as acidic conditions in the stomach convert a greater proportion of (Z)-endoxifen to the inactive <a href=\"https://laohu8.com/S/E\">$(E)$</a>-endoxifen. It did cite several examples of suppliers failing to fulfill their duties and non-compliance with Apple’s working-hours policy.</p>\n<p>The company also stopped providing specific addresses for supplier facilities in the latest list of contractors it works with, information it had provided in the past for transparency.</p>\n<p>Over the course of the pandemic-challenged year, Apple conducted 1,121 assessments across 53 countries, covering suppliers and assemblers as well as smelters and refiners. The company interviewed 57,618 workers to confirm their experience matched what management reported and followed up with a majority of them to ensure there was no retaliation. It also did more than 100 assessments without giving prior notice to the supplier.</p>\n<p>Having discovered <a href=\"https://laohu8.com/S/AONE\">one</a> case of underage labor in 2019, the company reported no such cases in 2020. It did, however, find an instance where a “supplier had misclassified the student workers in their program and falsified paperwork to disguise violations,” including allowing students to work nights and overtime. Apple placed the supplier on probation and halted “new business from Apple until they completed all required corrective actions.”</p>\n<p>In November, Apple said it had suspended new business with iPhone assembler Pegatron Corp. after discovering labor violations at a student worker program.</p>\n<p>In 2020, Apple rejected 8% of prospective suppliers -- covering both new suppliers and new facilities from established partners -- due to potential compliance issues. The company reported it has 93% compliance with its working-hours code, which stipulates working weeks should not exceed 60 hours and overtime should in all cases be voluntary.</p>\n<p>The most serious violations of Apple’s code of conduct fell to nine instances in 2020, down from 2019’s 17 and a significant improvement on the 48 in 2017. Seven of the most recent cases related to working hours or labor data falsification, <a href=\"https://laohu8.com/S/AONE.U\">one</a> was a wastewater violation and another was an air emission infraction.</p>\n<p>One Apple supplier, Ofilm Group Co., came under criticism for allegations it’s involved in a Chinese government program that transfers ethnic minorities from Xinjiang to other parts of the country for work. Bloomberg News reported in March that Apple had severed ties with Ofilm.</p>\n<p>Six iPhone manufacturing facilities reduced their energy usage by 20% in 2020 relative to 2017. Apple said it’s developing similar initiatives to improve efficiency around the production of its other popular products.</p>\n<p>Apple has trained 21.5 million supplier employees on their rights since 2008 and over the past year it started developing a mobile platform to deliver such training directly to workers’ phones. The training will be delivered in their native language. Here’s what some experts think","url":"https://stock-news.laohu8.com/highlight/detail?id=1169253231","media":"MarketWatch","summary":"A pullback for the Dow Jones Industrial Average and the S&P 500 index on Tuesday halted the longest ","content":"<p>A pullback for the Dow Jones Industrial Average and the S&amp;P 500 index on Tuesday halted the longest win streak for stocks in months, but a major concern for investors remains: Is there a major correction looming ahead?</p>\n<p>Even some bullish investors have called for a retrenchment in stocks as a sort of catharsis for the next leg higher and an unwind of some of the frenzied, retail-inspired betting that has repeatedly sent stocks to fresh records amid the COVID-19 recovery.</p>\n<p>A brief pullback that began in late January, tied to the trading fervor around GameStop Corp.&nbsp;and AMC Entertainment Holdings,saw markets test some short-term bullish trend lines, but recently the markets have managed to claw back to produce not-unspectacular returns in the early goings of a year chock-full of uncertainties.</p>\n<p>The Dow Jones Industrial Average&nbsp;is up 2.5% so far in the year, the S&amp;P 500&nbsp;is enjoying a more pronounced gain of over 4%, while the Nasdaq Composite&nbsp;and Russell 2000&nbsp;indexes on Tuesday notched their 10th record closes in 2021 thus far.</p>\n<p>The year-to-date gains in the large-cap Nasdaq, up 8.7%, and the Russell 2000, up 16.4%, reflect an odd convergence of investor bets: Those wagering on further prosperity in COVID-tested, large-capitalization growth stocks that worked in the aftermath of the pandemic in the U.S. back in March, alongside bets for a sizable rebound in small-cap, economically sensitive stocks represented in the Russell.</p>\n<p>In either case, cautious investors and those worried that the good times can’t last forever are bracing for the next major slump for stocks, and ruminating on how it might play out.</p>\n<p>Earlier this week, Morgan Stanley’s Michael Wilson&nbsp;told CNBC during an interview&nbsp;that “It was brief, so if you blinked you missed it,” referring to the pullback in stocks in late January.</p>\n<p>“That looks like that was it for now, and I mean, the markets are quite powerful at the moment, and they have been,” Wilson said.</p>\n<p>“There’s tremendous liquidity, there’s a very good and very understandable story behind the scenes. Meaning, we’ve got a strong economic recovery that’s visible to everyone. The earnings season’s been good so far…and people have bought into it,” the Morgan Stanley analyst said.</p>\n<p>He cautioned, however, that the market remains in a “a bit of a fragile state,” and warned that leverage swirling in the system could make pullbacks of 3% or 5% more of the norm.</p>\n<p>Wilson did say, however, that the re-emergence of individual investors in financial markets would be a force to be reckoned with, and that they currently represent the marginal buyer on Wall Street keeping asset prices buoyant.</p>\n<p>Keith&nbsp;Lerner, chief market strategist at Truist Advisory Services, said that concerns of a stock bubble are overdone and not supported by the current batch of fourth-quarter earnings results, which his firm estimates will be the best since the 2008 financial crisis.</p>\n<p class=\"t-img-caption\"><img src=\"https://static.tigerbbs.com/614ce86d6f888394bc0303ea4afc4f16\" tg-width=\"1212\" tg-height=\"914\"><span>TRUIST ADVISORY SERVICES INC./SUNTRUST ADVISORY SERVICES INC.</span></p>\n<p>“Although there are frothy segments of the market that are detached from fundamentals, we do not see bubble conditions more broadly,” Lerner wrote in a research report dated Tuesday.</p>\n<p>“Instead, we see a stock market that is trading at a premium to historical valuations—partly justified by low rates, a shift in sector composition toward higher-valued growth sectors, supportive monetary and fiscal policy, as well as cheaper access to markets (i.e., secular decline in commissions and fund fees),” the Truist analysts added, noting that a lower barrier to entry for individual investors also was providing support for stock values.</p>\n<p>Meanwhile, Daniel Pinto, a co-president at JPMorgan Chase &amp; Co.,told CNBC in a Q&amp;A&nbsp;that he expects the stock market to grind higher.</p>\n<p>“I think the market will gradually grind up during the year,” he told the news network. “I don’t see a correction anytime soon, unless the situation changes dramatically,” he said, describing possible downturns as mini corrections that won’t necessarily change the overall bullish trend.</p>\n<p>What could change things?</p>\n<p>Naeem Aslam, chief market analyst at AvaTrade, in a Tuesday report said that optimism in the U.S. market is driven by three actors: Support from monetary and fiscal policy, progress in COVID vaccinations and the solid quarterly results.</p>\n<p>“Basically, it seems like the stars are getting in line, and there are strong odds stacked in favour of another bull rally,” Aslam wrote.</p>\n<p>“In other words, we need something major changing in the current catalyst to shift the market narrative among traders that can trigger a minor pullback—let alone a serious correction,” he added.</p>\n<p>MarketWatch’s William Watts writes&nbsp;that some experts are pointing to the 2009 stock market as the closest parallel to the current setup for equities. Meaning, we’ve got a strong economic recovery that’s visible to everyone. The earnings season’s been good so far…and people have bought into it,” the Morgan Stanley analyst said.\nHe cautioned, however, that the market remains in a “a bit of a fragile state,” and warned that leverage swirling in the system could make pullbacks of 3% or 5% more of the norm.\nWilson did say, however, that the re-emergence of individual investors in financial markets would be a force to be reckoned with, and that they currently represent the marginal buyer on Wall Street keeping asset prices buoyant.\nKeith Lerner, chief market strategist at Truist Advisory Services, said that concerns of a stock bubble are overdone and not supported by the current batch of fourth-quarter earnings results, which his firm estimates will be the best since the 2008 financial crisis.\nTRUIST ADVISORY SERVICES INC./SUNTRUST ADVISORY SERVICES INC.\n“Although there are frothy segments of the market that are detached from fundamentals, we do not see bubble conditions more broadly,” Lerner wrote in a research report dated Tuesday.\n“Instead, we see a stock market that is trading at a premium to historical valuations—partly justified by low rates, a shift in sector composition toward higher-valued growth sectors, supportive monetary and fiscal policy, as well as cheaper access to markets (i.e., secular decline in commissions and fund fees),” the Truist analysts added, noting that a lower barrier to entry for individual investors also was providing support for stock values.\nMeanwhile, Daniel Pinto, a co-president at JPMorgan Chase & Co.,told CNBC in a Q&A that he expects the stock market to grind higher.\n“I think the market will gradually grind up during the year,” he told the news network. “I don’t see a correction anytime soon, unless the situation changes dramatically,” he said, describing possible downturns as mini corrections that won’t necessarily change the overall bullish trend.\nWhat could change things?\nNaeem Aslam, chief market analyst at AvaTrade, in a Tuesday report said that optimism in the U.S. market is driven by three actors: Support from monetary and fiscal policy, progress in COVID vaccinations and the solid quarterly results.\n“Basically, it seems like the stars are getting in line, and there are strong odds stacked in favour of another bull rally,” Aslam wrote.\n“In other words, we need something major changing in the current catalyst to shift the market narrative among traders that can trigger a minor pullback—let alone a serious correction,” he added.\nMarketWatch’s William Watts writes that some experts are pointing to the 2009 stock market as the closest parallel to the current setup for equities. Hyundai and Kia said in regulatory filings Monday&nbsp;they were in talks with multiple companies about autonomous EVs, but that no decision has been made.</p>\n<p>Apple also has been holding discussions with other automakers about the project, reported Bloomberg, which cited people familiar with the matter.</p>\n<p>Speculation on a so-called Apple Car has been rising, particularly after Hyundai issued and then backed off from a statement in January that it was in talks with Apple.</p>\n<p>An Apple entry into the automotive market would dramatically alter the industry, which has seen seismic shifts away from traditional sedans to sport utility vehicles and more recently toward electric vehicles. All its coffee shops will remain open for business and the Chapter 15 petition will not materially impact the company’s day-to-day operations, according to a statement issued on Friday.\n“The company continues to meet its trade obligations in the ordinary course of business, including paying suppliers, vendors and employees,” the statement said.\nThe bankruptcy filing caps a saga in which the coffee chain, once thought of as a challenger to Starbucks Corp.’s dominance in China, fired its chairman and chief executive officer, paid hundreds of millions out in fines to both Chinese and U.S. regulators, and saw its stock plunge 90% before being delisted by Nasdaq.\nThe U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission fined the company $180 million in December after finding that it intentionally fabricated more than $300 million in sales from April 2019 through January 2020. The company interviewed 57,618 workers to confirm their experience matched what management reported and followed up with a majority of them to ensure there was no retaliation. It also did more than 100 assessments without giving prior notice to the supplier.</p>\n<p>Having discovered <a href=\"https://laohu8.com/S/AONE\">one</a> case of underage labor in 2019, the company reported no such cases in 2020. But investment firm Goldman Sachs doesn’t believe we should worry; the firm’s chief global equity strategist Peter Oppenheimer gives several reasons to expect that the market’s current upward trend is real. His key points include the equity risk premium, the real profits realized by the Big Tech giants, and the high savings rate of US households coming out of the COVID pandemic.Taking these points one at a time, Oppenheimer notes that in today’s regime of record-low interest rates, higher-risk stocks offer a premium; that is, their potential returns are far higher than safe bonds, and justify the added risk factor. On the second point, the giants of the tech industry represent a massive concentration of capital and wealth in just a few companies (Facebook, Apple, Amazon, Microsoft, and Google); but these companies built that concentration through strong fundamentals and real profit growth, rather than bubble inflation. And finally, on the point of savings, the decline in overall economic activity during the pandemic period has left US households with some $1.5 trillion in accumulated savings – which can be used for retail stock investing.Taking Oppenheimer’s outlook and turning it into concrete recommendations, the pros at Goldman Sachs are giving three stocks a thumbs up. Specifically, the firm’s analysts see over 50% upside potential in store for each. We’ve looked up these stock calls in the TipRanks database, to find out if Wall Street agrees with Goldman's take.SpringWorks Therapeutics (SWTX)The first Goldman pick we’re looking at is a clinical-stage biotech firm in the oncology niche. SpringWorks uses a precision medicine approach in its development and commercialization of medical treatments for patient populations suffering from severe cancers and rare diseases. The company has an active pipeline, with programs investigating drug candidates for the treatment of desmoid tumors, plexiform neurofibromas, multiple myeloma, and metastatic solid tumors.The first two programs are the most highly advanced. Nirogacestat, the drug in testing against desmoid tumors, is undergoing Phase 3 study, and has received Orphan Drug Designation and Fast Track Designation from the FDA. The drug candidate operates through two therapeutic mechanisms, and has shown promise against multiple myeloma. Clinical studies of nirogacestat are underway for several additional indications.Mirdametinib, the company next most advanced drug candidate, is undergoing Phase 2b trial as a treatment for inoperable plexiform neurofibromas (NF1-PN). This is a rare cancer of the nervous system, affected the peripheral nerve sheaths and causing serious pain and disfigurement. NF1-PN can affect both children and adults, and mirdametinib is being studied as a treatment for both populations. As with Nirogacestat, the FDA has given Orphan Drug and Fast Track designations to this program. The trial is currently 70% enrolled and early data is described as ‘encouraging.’A large and active research program will always draw attention from Wall Street’s biotech experts, and Goldman analyst Corinne Jenkins has noted several upcoming catalysts for SprinWorks: “1) DeFi topline data in desmoid tumors (2H21), 2) mirdametinib + lifirafenib combination data (2021), 3) BGB-3245 first-in-human data (2021), 4) DREAMM-5 update in MM (2H21), and 5) detailed ReNeu interim clinical results (2021).”Building from that, the analyst sees the company showing strong return potential.“[We] see upside to the commercial outlook for SWTX’s rare oncology programs driven by extended duration of therapy, but view the clinical results expected this year as well-understood and therefore unlikely to significantly drive stock performance. We frame the collection of upcoming catalysts in a scenario analysis below which supports our view of an attractive risk/reward for the stock over the balance of 2021,” Jenkins opined.It should come as no surprise, then, that Jenkins is a fan. Jenkins rates SWTX a Buy, and her $112 one-year price target implies an upside of ~66% from current levels.Goldman Sachs is hardly the only firm to be impressed with SpringWorks. The company’s stock has 4 Buy reviews, for a unanimous Strong Buy consensus rating. The shares are priced at $67.28, and their $110 average price target suggests 63.5% upside potential for the coming months. (See SWTX stock analysis on TipRanks)Targa Resources Corporation (TRGP)We’ll shift gears now, and take a look at one of the energy sector’s midstream companies. Midstreamers are the companies that transport the hydrocarbons from wellheads to markets; splitting production and transport allows companies to streamline their operations. Targa operates a network of midstream assets in North America, mainly in Oklahoma-New Mexico-Texas-Louisiana. Assets include natural gas and crude oil pipelines, with ops divided into two segments: gathering & processing and logistics & transportation.Targa has seen business increase over the past year. TRGP achieved 4Q20 adj EBITDA of $438 million, slightly above the $433 million Street median estimate. Full year adj EBITDA of $1.637 billion exceeded the $1.5bn-$1.625bn guide. Looking ahead, TRGP expects 2021 adj. EBITDA of $1.675bn-$1.775bn, or 5% YoY growth at the midpoint, which compares favorably to the Street median estimates of $1.698bn/$1.684bn.Targa’s shares have been rising. The stock is up an impressive 375% in the past 12 months, and Goldman Sachs analyst John Mackay sees more upside in the cards.Mackay gives TRGP a Buy rating, along with a $49 price target, suggesting a 51% one-year upside. Cryptocurrencies are still not particularly useful outside of a very few cases, such as cross-border transactions. Even there, they haven’t fully taken hold.</p><p>There are at least four big reasons corporations are diving in.</p><p>One is that some company founders believe in Bitcoin. Their excitement about the asset has convinced them that their companies need to be involved, or have cryptocurrency investments, even if Bitcoin isn’t really the core of their operations. That appears to be the case for Tesla and its CEO Elon Musk, and for a software company calledMicrostrategyand its CEO, Michael Saylor.</p><p>Microstrategy, whose entire market capitalization was below $1 billion early last year, now owns more than $2 billion of Bitcoin, and its market cap is now just under $10 billion.
