Don’t be surprised if the stock market keeps on rising.
\n
With June coming to an end, the S&P 500 finished the first half of 2021 with a gain of 14.4%. Since 1998, only 2019’s 17.4% first-half surge has been larger.
\n
The market got a boost from Covid-19 vaccinations, which have helped the U.S. economy reopen, while trillions of dollars of fiscal stimulus have helped shore up demand. The gains continued even as concerns about inflation have increased speculation that the Federal Reserve would be forced to take steps to slow the economy.
\n
The combination of big gains and a more hawkish Fed have raised concerns that the market has become too complacent. If inflation continues to run hot for long enough, the central bank could be forced to act more quickly than the market expects—and cause stocks to tumble. Others worry that U.S. economic growth could slow faster than investors anticipate, causing a pullback in the process.
\n
For those who take that view, there is no better time to back away from the stock market than the present. History suggests otherwise.
\n
Since 1979, the S&P 500 has gained 10% or more 14 times during the first half of the year, and the index has gone on to average a 6.3% gain over the second half of the year. What’s more, the index finished the second half of the year higher In 11 of those instances, or 79% of the time.
\n
Even the losses, when they occurred, weren’t all that bad. The S&P 500 dropped 1.9% in the second half of 1983 and 3.5% during the last six months of 1986.
\n
The one exception was the last six months of 1987 when the index fell 19% during the second half of the year. That period included Black Monday, when the S&P 500 dropped 20% in one day, still a record loss. Don’t be surprised if the stock market keeps on rising.\nWith June coming to an end, the S&P 500 finished the first half of 2021 with a gain of 14.4%. Since 1998, only 2019’s 17.4% first-half surge has been larger.\nThe market got a boost from Covid-19 vaccinations, which have helped the U.S. economy reopen, while trillions of dollars of fiscal stimulus have helped shore up demand. The gains continued even as concerns about inflation have increased speculation that the Federal Reserve would be forced to take steps to slow the economy.\nThe combination of big gains and a more hawkish Fed have raised concerns that the market has become too complacent. If inflation continues to run hot for long enough, the central bank could be forced to act more quickly than the market expects—and cause stocks to tumble. Others worry that U.S. economic growth could slow faster than investors anticipate, causing a pullback in the process.\nFor those who take that view, there is no better time to back away from the stock market than the present. History suggests otherwise.\nSince 1979, the S&P 500 has gained 10% or more 14 times during the first half of the year, and the index has gone on to average a 6.3% gain over the second half of the year. What’s more, the index finished the second half of the year higher In 11 of those instances, or 79% of the time.\nEven the losses, when they occurred, weren’t all that bad. The S&P 500 dropped 1.9% in the second half of 1983 and 3.5% during the last six months of 1986.\nThe one exception was the last six months of 1987 when the index fell 19% during the second half of the year. That period included Black Monday, when the S&P 500 dropped 20% in one day, still a record loss. While selling linked to so-called portfolio insurance was ultimately blamed for the size and speed of the loss, the second half of 1987 was a period of rising bond yields and high stock-market valuations, just like the first half of 2021.\nStill, the market has been acting like it wants to go higher, not lower. Pullbacks, a normal event in the midst of bull runs, have been mild in 2021, with the largest drops being less than 4%. “What the [S&P 500] has done throughout 2021 is pick itself up when and where it has needed to, maintaining an uptrend all along,” writes Frank Cappelleri, chief market technician at Instinet.\nThat 6.3% average second-half rise would push the S&P 500’s full-year gain to around 23%. After all, they’ve worked hard to try to enjoy life as a senior and to not worry about their financial position. The best way to solve this problem is a well-rounded portfolio with the right balance of dividend, growth and value stocks. This article specifically focuses on the growth stocks to buy and how they can super-charge your retirement portfolio.
\n
Growth stocks typically belong to those companies that are growing at an above-average rate in their respective industries. Moreover, these companies are poised to expand over a long-term horizon thanks to their ability to innovate and reinvent themselves. Growth investors look at forward profitability and cash flow metrics when picking out the best growth stocks to buy.
\n
With that being said, this list below covers seven of the most promising growth stocks to buy, which will deliver returns across several markets.
\n
\n
Cloudflare(NYSE:NET)
\n
Shopify(NYSE:SHOP)
\n
Square(NYSE:SQ)
\n
Snap(NYSE:SNAP)
\n
Alibaba Group(NYSE:BABA)
\n
Etsy(NASDAQ:ETSY)
\n
Roku(NASDAQ:ROKU)
\n
\n
Cloudflare (NET)
\n
Cloudflare has arguably one of the most active companies in the past year, launching more than 550 new products. The cloud platform has been growing rapidly and has expanded its total addressable market to over $70 billion. Additionally, it plans to spread into other profitable areas apart from its traditional content delivery services. Moreover, NET stock’s 12-month returns are at a staggering 180%.
\n
Earnings in the past year have been nothing short of amazing, with double-digit growth in revenues for the past three quarters. Year-over-year revenue growth is at a healthy 51%, with forward estimates at 42%. As it looks to expand its product suite into large TAM areas such as cybersecurity and MPLS/SD-WAN, it will continue to post strong sales numbers for the foreseeable future.
\n
Shopify (SHOP)
\n
Shopify is a leading merchant platform that has consistently delivered for its long-term investors. With businesses having to close down during the pandemic, Shopify became a beacon of hope for small merchants starting their online businesses. As a result, its year-over-year revenue growth is dumbfounding 99.6%, which dwarfs its competition. Hence, with a wide moat and the ability to constantly evolve more than justifies SHOP stocks lofty valuation.
\n
2020 was another stellar year for the company, but it looks like it still has multiple chapters to write in its growth story. Its fulfillment center strategy is one of them, giving Amazon(NASDAQ:AMZN) a run for its money. Moreover, its Payments division and international markets are two major catalysts for future growth. The company expects to grow its revenues by $5 billion by 2023 and take a larger bite out of the e-commerce market.
\n
Square (SQ)
\n
Square has turned into a new-age financial services juggernaut. It has posted stellar growth rates, delivering monster quarterly results and outperforming its already high expectations. It continues to expand its distinct ecosystems, which includes its and Seller and Cash App. Both ecosystems exhibit a $160 billion addressable market opportunity collectively. Moreover, SQ stock has generated over 130% returns in the past 12-months.
\n
The Cash App platform has been a key driver of the company’s growth. Its monthly active users have grown by 50% to over 36 million in 2020. Through its Bitcoin(CCC:BTC-USD) functionalities and the impact of the Cash Card, it creates several monetization opportunities. Additionally, the re-opening of the U.S. and the worldwide economy will propel the stock further as more small and medium-sized enterprises regain their footing.
\n
Snap (SNAP)
\n
Social media giant Snap was in a tough spot a couple of years ago, as its user base stagnated considerably. However, it is now back in the game with improvements in monetization, augmented reality and unique content. Analysts point towards multiple years of double-digit revenue growth ahead, and its high long-term margin structure makes SNAP stock a highly attractive investment.
\n
Daily Active Users (DAUs) for the company increased on a year-over-year basisin each of the four quarters last year. The trend continued in the first quarter, where its DAUs grew by a healthy 22%. Moreover, revenues in the quarter were up 66% year-over-year to $170 million. It has multiple monetization avenues left to explore, including Maps, Spotlight, Stories and others. Hence, with forward revenue estimates of roughly 50%, the company is in pole position to deliver strong returns for the foreseeable future.
\n
Alibaba Group (BABA)
\n
Chinese e-commerce giant Alibaba has been one of the fastest-growing companies in the past several years. In the past seven years, its business has grown at a spectacular 23.8% CAGR and is still growing at an impressive pace. Year-over-year revenue growth has been at a remarkable 41%, with forward estimates over 35%. Analysts believe that BABA stock could generate over 300% returns in the next five years.
\n
Alibaba has gone a great job of diversifying its income streams from its traditional retail business. Some of these include cloud computing, entertainment, digital media and others. Cloud computing, in particular, is an area where Alibaba will look to invest heavily in the coming years. The high-margin business will help narrow down its losses and open up new opportunities in adjacent areas.
\n
Etsy (ETSY)
\n
Etsy is an online niche marketplace with a wide and sustainable moat. It has witnessed massive growth during the pandemic, as its revenues increased by triple-digit percentages in the past four quarters. Its gross merchandise value (GMV) and revenues increased by roughly 106% and 111%, respectively, in 2020. Moreover, its EBITDA growth on a year-over-year basis is at a stunning 391%. After all, they’ve worked hard to try to enjoy life as a senior and to not worry about their financial position. The best way to solve this problem is a well-rounded portfolio with the right balance of dividend, growth and value stocks. This article specifically focuses on the growth stocks to buy and how they can super-charge your retirement portfolio.\nGrowth stocks typically belong to those companies that are growing at an above-average rate in their respective industries. Moreover, these companies are poised to expand over a long-term horizon thanks to their ability to innovate and reinvent themselves. Growth investors look at forward profitability and cash flow metrics when picking out the best growth stocks to buy.\nWith that being said, this list below covers seven of the most promising growth stocks to buy, which will deliver returns across several markets.\n\nCloudflare(NYSE:NET)\nShopify(NYSE:SHOP)\nSquare(NYSE:SQ)\nSnap(NYSE:SNAP)\nAlibaba Group(NYSE:BABA)\nEtsy(NASDAQ:ETSY)\nRoku(NASDAQ:ROKU)\n\nCloudflare (NET)\nCloudflare has arguably one of the most active companies in the past year, launching more than 550 new products. The cloud platform has been growing rapidly and has expanded its total addressable market to over $70 billion. Additionally, it plans to spread into other profitable areas apart from its traditional content delivery services. Moreover, NET stock’s 12-month returns are at a staggering 180%.\nEarnings in the past year have been nothing short of amazing, with double-digit growth in revenues for the past three quarters. Year-over-year revenue growth is at a healthy 51%, with forward estimates at 42%. As it looks to expand its product suite into large TAM areas such as cybersecurity and MPLS/SD-WAN, it will continue to post strong sales numbers for the foreseeable future.\nShopify (SHOP)\nShopify is a leading merchant platform that has consistently delivered for its long-term investors. With businesses having to close down during the pandemic, Shopify became a beacon of hope for small merchants starting their online businesses. As a result, its year-over-year revenue growth is dumbfounding 99.6%, which dwarfs its competition. Hence, with a wide moat and the ability to constantly evolve more than justifies SHOP stocks lofty valuation.\n2020 was another stellar year for the company, but it looks like it still has multiple chapters to write in its growth story. Its fulfillment center strategy is one of them, giving Amazon(NASDAQ:AMZN) a run for its money. Moreover, its Payments division and international markets are two major catalysts for future growth. The company expects to grow its revenues by $5 billion by 2023 and take a larger bite out of the e-commerce market.\nSquare (SQ)\nSquare has turned into a new-age financial services juggernaut. It has posted stellar growth rates, delivering monster quarterly results and outperforming its already high expectations. It continues to expand its distinct ecosystems, which includes its and Seller and Cash App. Both ecosystems exhibit a $160 billion addressable market opportunity collectively. Moreover, SQ stock has generated over 130% returns in the past 12-months.\nThe Cash App platform has been a key driver of the company’s growth. Its monthly active users have grown by 50% to over 36 million in 2020. Through its Bitcoin(CCC:BTC-USD) functionalities and the impact of the Cash Card, it creates several monetization opportunities. Additionally, the re-opening of the U.S. and the worldwide economy will propel the stock further as more small and medium-sized enterprises regain their footing.\nSnap (SNAP)\nSocial media giant Snap was in a tough spot a couple of years ago, as its user base stagnated considerably. However, it is now back in the game with improvements in monetization, augmented reality and unique content. Analysts point towards multiple years of double-digit revenue growth ahead, and its high long-term margin structure makes SNAP stock a highly attractive investment.\nDaily Active Users (DAUs) for the company increased on a year-over-year basisin each of the four quarters last year. The trend continued in the first quarter, where its DAUs grew by a healthy 22%. Moreover, revenues in the quarter were up 66% year-over-year to $170 million. It has multiple monetization avenues left to explore, including Maps, Spotlight, Stories and others. Hence, with forward revenue estimates of roughly 50%, the company is in pole position to deliver strong returns for the foreseeable future.\nAlibaba Group (BABA)\nChinese e-commerce giant Alibaba has been one of the fastest-growing companies in the past several years. In the past seven years, its business has grown at a spectacular 23.8% CAGR and is still growing at an impressive pace. Year-over-year revenue growth has been at a remarkable 41%, with forward estimates over 35%. Analysts believe that BABA stock could generate over 300% returns in the next five years.\nAlibaba has gone a great job of diversifying its income streams from its traditional retail business. Some of these include cloud computing, entertainment, digital media and others. Cloud computing, in particular, is an area where Alibaba will look to invest heavily in the coming years. The high-margin business will help narrow down its losses and open up new opportunities in adjacent areas.\nEtsy (ETSY)\nEtsy is an online niche marketplace with a wide and sustainable moat. No wonder ETSY stock has surged over 78% in the past 12 months.\nWith last year’s blow-out performance, investors are worried about whether the company can continue its progress. Etsy is expanding its business through some smart acquisitions. It recently acquired Reverb and Depop to expand its music and fashion recommerce expertise. These acquisitions will also facilitate the company’s global outreach.Etsy posted a 141% year-over-year growth in its first quarter, which suggests that it isn’t slowing down anytime soon.\nRoku (ROKU)\nStreaming giant Roku has been on a roll in the past year, with its revenues and subscribers fueled by the pandemic. It gained an unbelievable 16.7 million new users during the pandemic and now has 53.6 million users. It is likely to achieve a record 65 million users by the conclusion of this year. With strong user monetization and active user growth, ROKU stock could potentially surge to new heights.\nLooking ahead, the company has multiple growth drivers which could push its stock price higher in the future. Its CTV ad segment, in particular, could pay a lot of dividends with the gradual shift from linear to CTV. Moreover, it continues to invest heavily in its content library, with its recent launch of Roku Originals and its acquisition of Saban Films. Hence, it has an incredible growth runway ahead and should continue posting strong top and bottom-line numbers.","news_type":1},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":266,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":127711437,"gmtCreate":1624868736829,"gmtModify":1703846610740,"author":{"id":"3576626591212005","authorId":"3576626591212005","name":"kyheng","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/a94297bf60c6ed97f786442e505e9e68","crmLevel":2,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"3576626591212005","authorIdStr":"3576626591212005"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"Wow.so strong","listText":"Wow.so strong","text":"Wow.so strong","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":0,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/127711437","repostId":"1193585957","repostType":4,"repost":{"id":"1193585957","weMediaInfo":{"introduction":"Providing stock market headlines, business news, financials and earnings ","home_visible":1,"media_name":"Tiger Newspress","id":"1079075236","head_image":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/8274c5b9d4c2852bfb1c4d6ce16c68ba"},"pubTimestamp":1624867457,"share":"https://ttm.financial/m/news/1193585957?lang=&edition=fundamental","pubTime":"2021-06-28 16:04","market":"us","language":"en","title":"Virgin Galactic stock surged another 8% in premarket trading","url":"https://stock-news.laohu8.com/highlight/detail?id=1193585957","media":"Tiger Newspress","summary":"Virgin Galactic stock surged another 8% in premarket trading on geting the green light from the FAA ","content":"
Virgin Galactic stock surged another 8% in premarket trading on geting the green light from the FAA to fly passengers to space.
\n

\n
Virgin Galactic announced on last Friday that the Federal Aviation Administration granted the company the license it needs to fly passengers on future spaceflights, a key hurdle as the venture completes development testing.
\n
“The commercial license that we have had in place since 2016 remains in place, but is now cleared to allow us to carry commercial passengers when we’re ready to do so,” Virgin Galactic CEO Michael Colglazier told CNBC. “This is obviously an exciting milestone and a huge compliment to the team.”
\n
While the FAA previously gave Virgin Galactic a launch license to conduct spaceflights, the license expansion allows the company to fly what the regulator calls “spaceflight participants.” The company completed a 29 element verification and validation program for the FAA, clearing the final two FAA milestones with its most recent spaceflight test in May.
While selling linked to so-called portfolio insurance was ultimately blamed for the size and speed of the loss, the second half of 1987 was a period of rising bond yields and high stock-market valuations, just like the first half of 2021.
\n
Still, the market has been acting like it wants to go higher, not lower. Pullbacks, a normal event in the midst of bull runs, have been mild in 2021, with the largest drops being less than 4%. “What the [S&P 500] has done throughout 2021 is pick itself up when and where it has needed to, maintaining an uptrend all along,” writes Frank Cappelleri, chief market technician at Instinet.
\n
That 6.3% average second-half rise would push the S&P 500’s full-year gain to around 23%. During the Y2K bubble some two decades ago,Yahoo Finance’s message forums gave users a place to talk about picks. These days, though, users can get a stock trading idea explained to them within seconds on platforms like Reddit, which has become the go-to place to talk about meme stocks. And the phenomenon with Reddit stocks is not stopping anytime soon.
\n
For example, in the last month, renewed interest in speculative clean energy has emerged. The sector popped in February after the Nasdaq corrected by around 10%. In the following months, the technology index and the electric vehicle (EV) sector rebounded. This lifted both electric vehicle stocks and clean energy stocks. Now Reddit has picked at least two names in these spaces. Users have also searched for heavily shorted mining firms, too.
\n

\n
For this article, I’ve selected seven more Reddit stocks that I believe are ready to rocket “to the moon.” After pulling back slightly, these picks may continue to attract buyers.
\n
As shown in the table above, Nvidia scores the highest overall. Redditors may gravitate to the graphics chip giant because of its quality and perfect growth score. In addition to the buying lift this name got from joining the Russell 2000 Index, Blink’s recent charging station deployment is a positive catalyst. The company announced on Jun. 15 that it will deploy 81 of its IQ 200 EV charging stations at Atlanticare Integrated Healthcare Systems facilitiesacross New Jersey.
\n
Atlanticare is the “largest healthcare organization in southern New Jersey.” This deployment is a five-year agreement and also has two five-year extensions. That contract length alone will help lift Blink’s revenues as well as lead to future contracts with other big firms.
\n
According to its press release, Blink Charging’s IQ 200 station are “the fastest level 2 AC charging stations available on the market, with a maximum output of 80 amps.” Moreover, the overall industry gives this product a positive review. For example,InsideEVs praised Blink’s IQ 200 for its pricing, user interface and style.
\n
With limited future cash flow at this time, however, some are cautious on BLNK stock.Simply Wall St set a fair value of around $12 for the name.
\n
Cleveland-Cliffs (CLF)
\n
With a short float of 11.03%, Redditors noticed that Cleveland-Cliffs traded at a discount, making it the next name on this list of Reddit stocks.
\n
Overall, CLF stock seems to have strong prospects ahead. For example, the steelmaker will likely benefit from an increased demand for building material. Management also raised its guidance for adjusted EBITDA for the current quarter as well as the full year. In the second quarter, the company should post a massive $1.3 billion in adjusted EBITDA and $5 billion for 2021. It based this outlook on current contracts and the US HRC Index’s price averages. Cliffs will post its Q2 results on Jul. 22.
\n
Of course, steel prices are a big positive catalyst for this company. CLF may also apply the cash flow lift to accelerate its debt repayment. Once the bullish cycle for steel ends, the company can then position itself to grow despite lower metal prices. Volumes from acquired facilities combined with currently higher metal prices will lift Q2 results next month.
\n
Investors who missed CLF stock’s triple return from the lows may accumulate shares before the next earnings report. Chances are good that this company will beat expectations thanks to all of the strong demand.
\n
Clean Energy Fuels (CLNE)
\n
Clean Energy Fuels is another favorite among the Reddit stocks. Earlier this month, its largest shareholder —TotalEnergy SE— reduced its stake by an additional 1.25 million shares. In the five weeks preceding Jun. 10, TotalEnergy had already sold 4.06 million shares.
\n
That said, CLNE stock is still a core holding for TotalEnergy since it owns over 25% of shares outstanding. And, as it sells the stock, liquidity will improve and help CLNE trend higher. Still, speculators should worry about management’s treatment of shareholders; the company continues to dilute investors while leveraging the business. Nevertheless, this recent sale does add plenty of cash and will enable the company to expand as it invests in the clean energy movement.
\n
For Q1, CLNE delivered 92.4 million gallons. However, revenue fell by 10.3% to $77.1 million and losses rose to $7.2 million. Additionally, the company’s adjusted EBITDA was mostly flat from last year at $11.7 million.
\n
According toTipranks, Wall Street analysts have an average price target of $12 for CLNE stock. Due to ongoing dilution and quarterly losses, CLNE shares are not suitable for conservative investors. But who knows if that will stop Reddit.
\n
Clover Health (CLOV)
\n
With a short float of around 37% today, early June saw a short squeeze that sent this pick of the Reddit stocks to a high of $28.85 on Jun. 9. Now, CLOV stock will need buying volume to spike again in order to bounce back.
\n
Clover Health is an insurance provider, so the stock’s unsustainably high price-to-sales (P/S) ratio is a risk factor for speculators. The downside risks are also high when considering that established tech software firms typically trade at half its P/S ratio. Still, as CLOV stock falls and short sellers fail to cover their bearish bets, a squeeze may reemerge.
\n
For Q1, this company posted revenue growth of 21% year-over-year (YOY) to $200.3 million. However, Clover also saw a net loss of $48.4 million. But the company also forecast its Medicare Advantage membership to grow by 17% to 21% by the end of the year. That confidence in healthy subscription sign-ups suggests that the stock’s downtrend has ended. Ideally, Clover will start posting profits soon.
\n
For 2021, Clover Health expects revenue as high as $830 million. True, the firm must undergo cuts in the next year to shrink its losses, but things seems to be looking up. For now, meme traders can buy this stock at every dip.
\n
Nvidia (NVDA)
\n
Next up on this list of Reddit stocks is Nvidia. Trading near all-time highs, this company is a leading graphics chip supplier. However, oddly enough,European vacations may add to the delay of its takeover of chip designer Arm.
\n
But Nvidia doesn’t need Arm to sustain its growth rate. In the PC gaming space, the company offers some of the best graphics processing units (GPUs) on the market. On Jun. 3, it also launched its new RTX 3080 Ti GPU at a $1,199 price tag.
\n
Due to the chip shortage and crypto-miner demand, the retail price is higher. And, since it will take months for users to get their RTX cards, Nvidia should enjoy expanding profit margins for years. Even the strong demand for game titles is a tailwind for the GPU market. Ongoing supply constraints are also causing shortages for past-generation graphics cards. So, as long as that persists, Reddit members should be speculating on NVDA stock regardless of its price.
\n
Palantir (PLTR)
\n
Since its initial public offering (IPO) last year, Palantir has been a long-time favorite of Redditors. The company consistently posts small contractual wins, lifting investor interest.
\n
To that end, on Jun. 18, the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) chose Palantir for an aircraft certification safety monitoring solution. This one-year contract has a two-year option and is worth around $18.4 million. Palantir USG President Akash Jain said, “We are proud to be partnering with the Federal Aviation Administration to support their critical safety mission.”
\n
Of course, more companies seeking to integrate their data will consider Palantir in the future as well. And, once installed, customers tend to renew their contracts. For example, the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recently signed a one-year contract renewal. That $7.4 million deal deepens Palantir’s partnership with the CDC even further.
\n
This kind of deal-making is the bread and butter for Palantir and PLTR stock. As long as it continues to land contracts, the company should do well.
\n
Senseonics (SENS)
\n
At around a 20% short float, Senseonics may rally to new heights on any news event. For example, on Jun. 3, the company posted data for its glucose monitoring system. That helped send SENS stock to the $4 level.
\n
Now with the Eversense CGM System announcement out, Senseonics will wait for U.S. and European regulatory agencies to respond to its pre-market submissions of data. Any positive response from theses agencies could send SENS stock higher as well.
\n
However, readers should note the caution surrounding this pick of the Reddit stocks, too. According toTipranks, analayts give SENS an average price target of $3. Despite the warning, though, Senseonics continues to attract speculative traders. Short-sellers who fail to cover their position on a drop now risk a short-squeeze event yet again.
","source":"lsy1606302653667","collect":0,"html":"\n
\n
\n\n\n\n
7 More Reddit Stocks Ready to Rocket to the Moon
\n\n
\n
\n
\n
\n
\n7 More Reddit Stocks Ready to Rocket to the Moon\n
\n\n
\n\n\n2021-07-02 17:03 GMT+8 InvestorPlace\n\n\n
\n\n
\n
\n
\n
The users on r/WallStreetBets are not done buying stocks yet\nSource: Shutterstock\nOnline forums are a powerful force that can move stocks. During the Y2K bubble some two decades ago,Yahoo Finance’s message forums gave users a place to talk about picks. These days, though, users can get a stock trading idea explained to them within seconds on platforms like Reddit, which has become the go-to place to talk about meme stocks. And the phenomenon with Reddit stocks is not stopping anytime soon.\nFor example, in the last month, renewed interest in speculative clean energy has emerged. The sector popped in February after the Nasdaq corrected by around 10%. In the following months, the technology index and the electric vehicle (EV) sector rebounded. This lifted both electric vehicle stocks and clean energy stocks. Now Reddit has picked at least two names in these spaces. Users have also searched for heavily shorted mining firms, too.\n\nFor this article, I’ve selected seven more Reddit stocks that I believe are ready to rocket “to the moon.” After pulling back slightly, these picks may continue to attract buyers.\nAs shown in the table above, Nvidia scores the highest overall. Redditors may gravitate to the graphics chip giant because of its quality and perfect growth score. Conversely, Palantir scores poorly overall but is still a group favorite.\n\nBlink Charging(NASDAQ:BLNK)\nCleveland-Cliffs(NYSE:CLF)\nClean Energy Fuels(NASDAQ:CLNE)\nClover Health (NASDAQ:CLOV)\nNvidia(NASDAQ:NVDA)\nPalantir (NYSE:PLTR)\nSenseonics(NYSEAMERICAN:SENS)\n\nBlink Charging (BLNK)\nFirst up on this list of Reddit stocks is Blink Charging.
No wonder ETSY stock has surged over 78% in the past 12 months.
\n
With last year’s blow-out performance, investors are worried about whether the company can continue its progress. Etsy is expanding its business through some smart acquisitions. It recently acquired Reverb and Depop to expand its music and fashion recommerce expertise. These acquisitions will also facilitate the company’s global outreach.Etsy posted a 141% year-over-year growth in its first quarter, which suggests that it isn’t slowing down anytime soon.
\n
Roku (ROKU)
\n
Streaming giant Roku has been on a roll in the past year, with its revenues and subscribers fueled by the pandemic. It gained an unbelievable 16.7 million new users during the pandemic and now has 53.6 million users. It is likely to achieve a record 65 million users by the conclusion of this year. With strong user monetization and active user growth, ROKU stock could potentially surge to new heights.
\n
Looking ahead, the company has multiple growth drivers which could push its stock price higher in the future. Its CTV ad segment, in particular, could pay a lot of dividends with the gradual shift from linear to CTV. Moreover, it continues to invest heavily in its content library, with its recent launch of Roku Originals and its acquisition of Saban Films. Hence, it has an incredible growth runway ahead and should continue posting strong top and bottom-line numbers.
","source":"lsy1606302653667","collect":0,"html":"\n
\n
\n\n\n\n
7 Growth Stocks to Buy and Hold for a Golden Retirement
\n\n
\n
\n
\n
\n
\n7 Growth Stocks to Buy and Hold for a Golden Retirement\n
\n\n
\n\n\n2021-06-28 17:39 GMT+8 InvestorPlace\n\n\n
\n\n
\n
\n
\n
These growth stocks to buy will add a ton of value to your retirement portfolio by providing a growing return on investment\nThe last thing any retiree would want to do is to sit around and fret about ...
\n\nWeb Link\n\n
\n\n\n
\n
\n
\n
\n","type":0,"thumbnail":"","relate_stocks":{"SHOP":"Shopify Inc","SNAP":"Snap Inc","ROKU":"Roku Inc","ETSY":"Etsy, Inc.","SQ":"Block","BABA":"阿里巴巴","NET":"Cloudflare, Inc."},"source_url":"https://investorplace.com/2021/06/7-great-growth-stocks-to-buy-and-hold-for-a-golden-retirement/","is_english":true,"share_image_url":"https://static.laohu8.com/e9f99090a1c2ed51c021029395664489","article_id":"1103992527","content_text":"These growth stocks to buy will add a ton of value to your retirement portfolio by providing a growing return on investment\nThe last thing any retiree would want to do is to sit around and fret about their portfolio. Galactic announced on last Friday that the Federal Aviation Administration granted the company the license it needs to fly passengers on future spaceflights, a key hurdle as the venture completes development testing.
\n
While the FAA previously gave Virgin Galactic a launch license to conduct spaceflights, the license expansion allows the company to fly what the regulator calls “spaceflight participants.” The company completed a 29 element verification and validation program for Colglazier noted the two last milestones were specific to the spacecraft’s flight control systems and inertial navigation systems.\nVirgin Galactic’s stock rose above $40 a share this week, after a tumultuous start to the year.
