Since it's now been more than a year since the market hit its bear-market bottom, the averages are certainly not in investors' favor.</p>\n<p>However, averages are nothing more than that... averages. The market doesn't adhere to averages, even if some folks base their investments off of what's happened historically.</p>\n<p>We could enter a period similar to 1991 through 1996 where there were zero corrections. Or we could continue the theme since the beginning of 2010, where corrections occur, on average, every 19 months.</p>\n<p><b>Corrections have been an historical given within three years of a bear market bottom</b></p>\n<p>Another interesting piece of evidence to examine is the frequency by which the S&amp;P 500 corrects after hitting a bear-market bottom.</p>\n<p>Since the beginning of 1960 (an arbitrary year I chose for the sake of simplicity), the widely followed index has navigated its way through nine bear markets, including the coronavirus crash. In rebounding from each of the previous eight bear market lows, there was at least one double-digit percentage decline within three years100% of the time. In aggregate, 13 corrections have occurred within three years following the last eight bear market bottoms (i.e., either one or two following each bottom).</p>\n<p>Put another way, rebounding from a bear-market bottom is rarely a straight-line move higher. Yet up, up, and away has pretty much been the theme for investors since March 23, 2020. History would suggest that there's a very good chance of a move lower in equities within the next two years.</p>\n<p><b>Crashes frequently occur when this valuation metric is hit</b></p>\n<p>But the most damning bit of evidence might just be the S&amp;P 500's Shiller price-to-earnings (P/E) ratio. This is a valuation metric that examines the average inflation-adjusted earnings from the previous 10 years. You might also know it as the cyclically adjusted P/E ratio, or CAPE.</p>\n<p>As of the close of business on March 30, the S&amp;P 500's Shiller P/E ratio hit 35.61. That's well over double its 150-year average of 16.8. Using continuous bull market moves as a parameter, it's the second-highest reading in its history.</p>\n<p>To some extent, itmakes sensethat equity valuations should be higher now than they've been historically. That's because interest rates are near an all-time low and access to the internet has effectively broken down barriers between Wall Street and Main Street that may have, in the past, kept P/E multiples at bay.</p>\n<p>However, previous instances of the S&amp;P 500's Shiller P/E ratio crossing above and sustaining the 30 levelhaven't ended well. In the prior four instances where the Shiller P/E surpassed and held above 30, the benchmark index tumbled anywhere from 20% to as much as 89%. Although an 89% plunge, which was experienced during the Great Depression, is very unlikely these days, a big drop has historically been in the cards when valuations get extended, as they are now.</p>\n<p><b>Keep that cash handy in the event that opportunity knocks</b></p>\n<p>To circle back to the original question at hand, the data is pretty clear that the likelihood of a stock market crash or correction has grown considerably. It's impossible to precisely predict when a crash might occur, how long the decline will last, or how steep the drop could be. But the data strongly suggests that downside is in the offing.</p>\n<p>While this might be a disappointing revelation to some investors, it shouldn't be. Crashes and corrections are a normal part of the investing cycle. More importantly, theyprovide an opportunityfor investors to buy into great companies at a discount. Just think about all the great companies you're probably kicking yourself over for not buying last March.</p>\n<p>The reason to be excited about crashes and corrections is also found in the data. You see, of those 38 previous corrections in the S&amp;P 500 since the beginning of 1950, each and every one has eventually been put into the rearview mirror by a bull market rally. Plus,at no point over the past centuryhave rolling 20-year total returns (including dividends) for the S&amp;P 500 been negative.</p>\n<p>If you need further encouragement to buy during a correction, keep in mind that 24 of the 38 double-digit declines in the S&amp;P 500 havefound their bottom in 104 or fewer calendar days(3.5 months or less). Shares have fallen nearly 30% from their record high set just ahead of its fourth-quarter report in late January, with more than a third of that slide in share price taking place since the company reported first quarter results in April.</p>\n<p>So whether the best performing stock of 2020 can get back on track will depend greatly on what investors hear Monday evening, when Tesla releases its second quarter results.</p>\n<p>Here are the top issues they'll be looking at:</p>\n<h3>How are things going in China?</h3>\n<p>Unlike other automakers, Tesla normally reports only global numbers, and doesn't break down sales by country or market. But if it wants to assure investors, it may need to give details on its sales in China, which is not only the largest market for all auto sales but also the major market with the greatest share of sales going to EVs.</p>\n<p>Tesla was hit by widespread reports of safety problems in China, including the recall of almost all cars made at its Shanghai factory and a protest by Tesla owners at the Shanghai auto show in April.</p>\n<p>\"The China growth stories is the top of the list for Tesla,\" said Dan Ives, tech analyst with Wedbush Securities and a Tesla bull. \"This is their key market, we believe 40% of their sales will come from there next year. I think that's the linchpin to the stock going up or down.\"</p>\n<p>Although Chinese sales of EVs from other automakers are reportedly growing, Tesla's China sales fell 9.2%, according to stats cited by Gordon Johnson of GLJ Research, an analyst who is one of Tesla's harshest critics.</p>\n<p>\"It seems clear Tesla has a China demand problem,\" he wrote in a recent note. \"Weak second quarter 2021 China domestic sales likely translate into weak second quarter earnings for Tesla.\"</p>\n<h3>How did it make its profits?</h3>\n<p>Analysts surveyed by Refinitiv expect Tesla to report adjusted income of more than $1 billion for the second straight quarter, and net income of about $650 million. Both would be records for the company, and would mark the eighth straight quarterly profit after years of losses.</p>\n<p>But Tesla critics point out that its net income has never exceeded the money it gets from selling regulatory tax credits to other automakers for whom EV sales are a very small percentage of their overall sales. Those other automakers use the credits they purchase from Tesla to meet environmental standards, thus avoiding large fines.</p>\n<p>Tesla got $518 million from those sales in the first quarter, but even Tesla admits it can't count on those sales to continue as other automakers start to sell more of their own EVs. The company's critics say it is proof that Tesla can't make money just from selling cars.</p>\n<p>If its net income finally does exceed those credits, as the estimates suggest, it will be a significant milestone for the company, Ives said.</p>\n<p>\"That would throw one of the core bear arguments against the stock out the window,\" he said.</p>\n<h3>What's going on with its bitcoin holdings?</h3>\n<p>In February, Tesla disclosed it used some of its cash on hand to purchase $1.5 billion in bitcoin. In April, it disclosed that it has sold some of those holdings and booked net income of $101 million from its crypto trading — adding to the argument that the company doesn't make money actually selling cars.</p>\n<p>The bitcoin transactions made some investors nervous, said Ives, especially since the cryptocurrency has lost more than a third of its value since then.</p>\n<h3>What's going on with supply chain issues?</h3>\n<p>The entire global auto industry is struggling with a computer chip shortage.</p>\n<p>With other automakers ramping up production of their own EVs, Tesla now has greater competition for the raw materials that make up large EVe batteries, such as lithium.</p>\n<p>In May, Musk tweeted that Tesla had to raise the price of its cars because of rising raw material costs. The outlook for raw material prices and the supply of parts such as chips and batteries will be a key to investors' expectations about Tesla sales the rest of this year.</p>\n<h3>What's going on with new plants in Texas and Germany?</h3>\n<p>Tesla has a track record of getting new plants up and running much faster than traditional automakers.</p>\n<p>It has a plant under construction near Austin, Texas, which will build the Model Y SUV and eventually the Cybertruck pickup, as well as another near Berlin to serve the European market, where it is losing ground on EV sales to Volkswagen (VLKAF).</p>\n<p>Having two plants under construction simultaneously is the most ambitious expansion ever for Tesla, and the outlook for when the plants will be up to speed will be a key to investor expectations going forward.</p>\n<p>Tesla said in April it expected both plants to have limited production later this year and \"volume production\" in 2022. It did not spell out what that means.</p>\n<h3>What's the latest on the Cybertruck?</h3>\n<p>With a number of established automakers such as Ford (F) and General Motors (GM) on the verge of selling their own electric pickups, it's important that Tesla get the Cybertruck, its first pickup, into consumers' hands soon. In January, Musk said he was expecting \"volume production\" in 2022.</p>\n<p>Then in March he tweeted \"Update probably in Q2.\" He said the focus now was getting the Texas plant finished, calling that job a \"beast.\" Investors are anxious to get that update.</p>\n<h3>What are plans to open Tesla's superchargers to other automakers' EVs.</h3>\n<p>This past week, Musk said in a tweet that \"we're making our Supercharger network open to other EVs later this year.\" As is often the case when he makes news via tweet, there were no details to help investors assess the business impact of such a move.</p>\n<p>It could be significant. \"By 2030, we conservatively estimate Tesla supercharging revenue of $2.9 billion, a figure which does not include any revenue from non-Tesla vehicles,\" wrote Morgan Stanley auto analyst Adam Jonas in a note following the tweet.</p>\n<p>Musk will almost certainly be asked about the plans to open the network to other companies' cars during the conference call.</p>\n<h3>What's the outlook for full self-driving cars?</h3>\n<p>This is one reason Tesla shares have so greatly outperformed traditional auto stocks: the belief of investors that it is closer to offering full self-driving cars, or FSD, than any other companies.</p>\n<p>Musk keeps promising advances for versions of FSD in his tweets. And Tesla CFO Zachary Kirkhorn spoke on the last earnings call about the potential for significant revenue from drivers who pay for FSD on a subscription basis.</p>\n<p>But so far FSD has been more promise than reality. Shares have fallen nearly 30% from their record high set just ahead of its fourth-quarter report in late January, with more than a third of that slide in share price taking place since the company reported first quarter results in April.\nSo whether the best performing stock of 2020 can get back on track will depend greatly on what investors hear Monday evening, when Tesla releases its second quarter results.\nHere are the top issues they'll be looking at:\nHow are things going in China?\nUnlike other automakers, Tesla normally reports only global numbers, and doesn't break down sales by country or market. But if it wants to assure investors, it may need to give details on its sales in China, which is not only the largest market for all auto sales but also the major market with the greatest share of sales going to EVs.\nTesla was hit by widespread reports of safety problems in China, including the recall of almost all cars made at its Shanghai factory and a protest by Tesla owners at the Shanghai auto show in April.\n\"The China growth stories is the top of the list for Tesla,\" said Dan Ives, tech analyst with Wedbush Securities and a Tesla bull. \"This is their key market, we believe 40% of their sales will come from there next year. I think that's the linchpin to the stock going up or down.\"\nAlthough Chinese sales of EVs from other automakers are reportedly growing, Tesla's China sales fell 9.2%, according to stats cited by Gordon Johnson of GLJ Research, an analyst who is one of Tesla's harshest critics.\n\"It seems clear Tesla has a China demand problem,\" he wrote in a recent note. \"Weak second quarter 2021 China domestic sales likely translate into weak second quarter earnings for Tesla.\"\nHow did it make its profits?\nAnalysts surveyed by Refinitiv expect Tesla to report adjusted income of more than $1 billion for the second straight quarter, and net income of about $650 million. Both would be records for the company, and would mark the eighth straight quarterly profit after years of losses.\nBut Tesla critics point out that its net income has never exceeded the money it gets from selling regulatory tax credits to other automakers for whom EV sales are a very small percentage of their overall sales. GME stock, for example crashed from $400 to $40 at one point. However, the Reddit traders have had the last laugh. GameStop surged once again in May and this time, it has held onto its gains.</p>\n<p>The WallStreetBets community remains a large and powerful force. While there isn’t quite the same buzz as there was in January — and admittedly some of the energy has moved to cryptocurrencies — meme stocks remain a potent force. However, not everything that gets popular on Reddit or has a high short interest will become the next GameStop. In fact, there are quite a few firms that have scarcely little going on to justify their current valuations.</p>\n<p>These are seven meme stocks to sell now, while their share prices are still at respectable levels:</p>\n<ul>\n <li><b>Vinco Ventures</b>(NASDAQ:<b><u>BBIG</u></b>)</li>\n <li><b>iBio</b>(NYSEAMERICAN:<b><u>IBIO</u></b>)</li>\n <li><b>Genius Brands</b>(NASDAQ:<b><u>GNUS</u></b>)</li>\n <li><b>XspresSpa Group</b>(NASDAQ:<b><u>XSPA</u></b>)</li>\n <li><b>Electrameccanica</b>(NASDAQ:<b><u>SOLO</u></b>)</li>\n <li><b>Uranium Energy</b>(NYSEAMERICAN:<b><u>UEC</u></b>)</li>\n <li><b>Sphere 3D</b>(NASDAQ:<b><u>ANY</u></b>)</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Meme Stocks to Sell: Vinco Ventures (BBIG)</p>\n<p>Vinco Ventures got one part of the social media playbook right: It has a great ticker symbol. BBIG practically just begs to be “memed.” The Reddit community around the stock is full of clever wordplay for the hot media firm.</p>\n<p>As for the actual business? It’s much less promising. The company brings back a key figure from theMoviePass debacleto head up a TikTok rival. It also has an operation devoted to non-fungible tokens (NFTs). Perhaps there is a place for a TikTok clone in a world that is increasingly preoccupied about cybersecurity threats and the Chinese government’s behavior.</p>\n<p>Still, given the relative small scale of the video business, investors should be highly skeptical of the stock here. Judging by the CEO’s past experience with MoviePass, there’s a good chance Vinco could burn through a load of investor funds before ignominiously ceasing operations.</p>\n<p>iBio (IBIO)</p>\n<p>In 2020, IBIO stock spiked from 30 cents to as high as $6 per share. A previously little-known biotech firm, it generated a ton of attention around a potential Covid-19 vaccine. However, historically, iBio has enjoyed similar waves of positive attention from press releases about potential products for other pandemics. However, the company has never managed to convert that potential into real-world revenues or profits.</p>\n<p>Covid-19 appears to be playing out the same way for iBio. Despite numerous seeminglypositive developments, the company has little to show for it. The company generated just $3 million in revenues over the past 12 months. More surprisingly, it spent just $7 million on research and development costs over the past year. It seems unlikely that a leading Covid-19 vaccine will be developed on that sort of barebones budget.</p>\n<p>While the peak of social media excitement around IBIO stock was back in 2020, trading volume has remained elevated this year. Traders are looking at the 7% short interest in shares and hoping it makes another run-up. However, it seems the market opportunity is passing for Covid-19 biotechs that don’t have a product on the market yet.</p>\n<p>And don’t let the low share price fool you. IBIO has a sizable $250 million market capitalization given the company’s serial stock issuances. Shares will likely fall far lower as any residual interest in the company’s early stage Covid projects fade.</p>\n<p>Meme Stocks to Sell: Genius Brands (GNUS)</p>\n<p>Genius Brands is a fledgling media company attempted to carve out a niche for itself in the children’s entertainment space. The company seemed ideal for a meme stock, as it had a catchy name and is targeting an industry that resonates with a large group of traders.</p>\n<p>That said, despite a blizzard of press releases over the past year, Genius has failed to transform any of its potential into financial results. As our Josh Enomoto recently put it,speculation might not save GNUS stock. The company’s (lack of) positive fundamentals is really starting to drag on the company.</p>\n<p>In the company’s most recent quarter, it brought in just $1.1 million of revenues. Yes, you read that figure right. Meanwhile, it generated a GAAP loss of 27 cents per share on that quarter. That’s a rather sizable loss for a company whose stock trades south of $2. Genius can keep touting its new shows and celebrity deals, but with quarterly revenues this small, the company is light years away from becoming a media empire.</p>\n<p>XpresSpa (XSPA)</p>\n<p>XpresSpa is a company focused on airport-based health and wellness centers. Prior to Covid-19, these could be categorized as day spas that helped travelers relax and pass the time between flights. That line of business became untenable due to the pandemic. So the company quickly pivoted to running Covid-19 testing centers out of its airport locations.</p>\n<p>In theory, this made a lot of sense. In practice, however, demand for testing services at airports appears to be relatively low. Last quarter, the company generated just $9.1 million in revenues while losing $4.7 million overall. While the pandemic continues to drag on, it seems airport testing simply hasn’t become a large enough market to allow the company to reach profitability.</p>\n<p>Meanwhile, it’s unclear on what timeline the company might be able to revert to its prior business model. It should also be noted that the company lost money before the pandemic as well. While momentum traders bid up XSPA stock as a Covid-19 play, the business has shown few signs of tangible success at any point.</p>\n<p>A baffling thing about XpresSpa is that it recently announced a 15 million sharestock buyback. In general, share buybacks are good for shareholders. However, typically companies actually generate profits and positive cash flow from operations before buying back their own stock.</p>\n<p>XpresSpa, by contrast, has a long history of large operating losses. It has had to issue stock in the past to fund its operations. So it’s unclear why the company would spend precious capital now to repurchase shares rather than invest those funds into helping the business reach profitability. This seems like a gimmick to try to induce a short squeeze rather than a strategic financial decision. More surprisingly, it spent just $7 million on research and development costs over the past year. His key points include the equity risk premium, the real profits realized by the Big Tech giants, and the high savings rate of US households coming out of the COVID pandemic.Taking these points one at a time, Oppenheimer notes that in today’s regime of record-low interest rates, higher-risk stocks offer a premium; that is, their potential returns are far higher than safe bonds, and justify the added risk factor. On the second point, the giants of the tech industry represent a massive concentration of capital and wealth in just a few companies (Facebook, Apple, Amazon, Microsoft, and Google); but these companies built that concentration through strong fundamentals and real profit growth, rather than bubble inflation. And finally, on the point of savings, the decline in overall economic activity during the pandemic period has left US households with some $1.5 trillion in accumulated savings – which can be used for retail stock investing.Taking Oppenheimer’s outlook and turning it into concrete recommendations, the pros at Goldman Sachs are giving three stocks a thumbs up. Specifically, the firm’s analysts see over 50% upside potential in store for each. We’ve looked up these stock calls in the TipRanks database, to find out if Wall Street agrees with Goldman's take.SpringWorks Therapeutics (SWTX)The first Goldman pick we’re looking at is a clinical-stage biotech firm in the oncology niche. SpringWorks uses a precision medicine approach in its development and commercialization of medical treatments for patient populations suffering from severe cancers and rare diseases. The company has an active pipeline, with programs investigating drug candidates for the treatment of desmoid tumors, plexiform neurofibromas, multiple myeloma, and metastatic solid tumors.The first two programs are the most highly advanced. Nirogacestat, the drug in testing against desmoid tumors, is undergoing Phase 3 study, and has received Orphan Drug Designation and Fast Track Designation from the FDA. The drug candidate operates through two therapeutic mechanisms, and has shown promise against multiple myeloma. Clinical studies of nirogacestat are underway for several additional indications.Mirdametinib, the company next most advanced drug candidate, is undergoing Phase 2b trial as a treatment for inoperable plexiform neurofibromas (NF1-PN). This is a rare cancer of the nervous system, affected the peripheral nerve sheaths and causing serious pain and disfigurement. NF1-PN can affect both children and adults, and mirdametinib is being studied as a treatment for both populations. As with Nirogacestat, the FDA has given Orphan Drug and Fast Track designations to this program. The trial is currently 70% enrolled and early data is described as ‘encouraging.’A large and active research program will always draw attention from Wall Street’s biotech experts, and Goldman analyst Corinne Jenkins has noted several upcoming catalysts for SprinWorks: “1) DeFi topline data in desmoid tumors (2H21), 2) mirdametinib + lifirafenib combination data (2021), 3) BGB-3245 first-in-human data (2021), 4) DREAMM-5 update in MM (2H21), and 5) detailed ReNeu interim clinical results (2021).”Building from that, the analyst sees the company showing strong return potential.“[We] see upside to the commercial outlook for SWTX’s rare oncology programs driven by extended duration of therapy, but view the clinical results expected this year as well-understood and therefore unlikely to significantly drive stock performance. We frame the collection of upcoming catalysts in a scenario analysis below which supports our view of an attractive risk/reward for the stock over the balance of 2021,” Jenkins opined.It should come as no surprise, then, that Jenkins is a fan. Jenkins rates SWTX a Buy, and her $112 one-year price target implies an upside of ~66% from current levels.Goldman Sachs is hardly the only firm to be impressed with SpringWorks. The company’s stock has 4 Buy reviews, for a unanimous Strong Buy consensus rating. The shares are priced at $67.28, and their $110 average price target suggests 63.5% upside potential for the coming months. (See SWTX stock analysis on TipRanks)Targa Resources Corporation (TRGP)We’ll shift gears now, and take a look at one of the energy sector’s midstream companies. Midstreamers are the companies that transport the hydrocarbons from wellheads to markets; splitting production and transport allows companies to streamline their operations. Targa operates a network of midstream assets in North America, mainly in Oklahoma-New Mexico-Texas-Louisiana. Assets include natural gas and crude oil pipelines, with ops divided into two segments: gathering & processing and logistics & transportation.Targa has seen business increase over the past year. TRGP achieved 4Q20 adj EBITDA of $438 million, slightly above the $433 million Street median estimate. Full year adj EBITDA of $1.637 billion exceeded the $1.5bn-$1.625bn guide. Looking ahead, TRGP expects 2021 adj. EBITDA of $1.675bn-$1.775bn, or 5% YoY growth at the midpoint, which compares favorably to the Street median estimates of $1.698bn/$1.684bn.Targa’s shares have been rising. The stock is up an impressive 375% in the past 12 months, and Goldman Sachs analyst John Mackay sees more upside in the cards.Mackay gives TRGP a Buy rating, along with a $49 price target, suggesting a 51% one-year upside. (To watch Mackay’s track record, click here)“Our thesis for TRGP, briefly put, is that we see its strategic Permian and downstream NGL assets supporting higher-than-consensus EBITDA (GSe ~7% higher on average vs. Eikon for 2022+), which could allow larger — and sooner than expected — incremental returns of capital — all supported by a valuation that remains relatively cheap…. [As] the year progresses, we expect the focus to shift to the large upcoming capital allocation catalyst that (we anticipate) should come in early 2022 once TRGP completes its planned DevCo consolidations,” Mackay wrote.There is broad-based agreement on Wall Street that Targa is buying proposition. Of the 15 recent reviews, 13 are to Buy against just 2 Holds. The $38.27 average price target indicates a potential for 18% upside from the current trading price of $32.45. ADT provides a range of security services focused on alarm monitoring. Services include burglar and fire alarms, packages that include 24/7 monitoring, motion detectors, smoke and carbon monoxide detectors, and ‘smart home’ modifications. ADT’s services are available in the residential and commercial markets.The company’s revenue stream has remained stable through the past year, between $1.3 billion and $1.37 billion, and each quarter’s result was flat or slightly higher year-over-year. The full year’s revenues were 4% up from 2019. The company’s earnings net loss moderated through the year, and the Q4 result of a 14 cent net loss was the lowest of the year.Among the bulls is Goldman Sachs analyst George Tong who writes: “We believe ADT is well positioned to capitalize on new growth opportunities, including strong new home construction trends and rising smart home demand, as it offensively steps up its subscriber acquisition costs by $150-250mn this year. With these investments, management plans to deliver accelerated mid-teens gross recurring monthly revenue additions growth in 2021. We expect ADT to increase its penetration of the fast growing smart home category longer-term with this incremental spend…”The Goldman analyst sets a $13 price target on this stock to go along with his Buy rating, implying a 58% upside for the next 12 months. Salesforce is acquiring<b>Slack</b> (NYSE:WORK), which has caused volatility in the stock. The leadership team has proven to shareholders many times that they can successfully acquire businesses and add value. I firmly believe that this acquisition will add tremendous value to Salesforce customers. The company plans to build Slack into its Service Cloud products, which will increase employee productivity from anywhere.</p>\n<p>#9.<b>DocuSign</b>(NASDAQ:DOCU) offers more than most people realize. Its business consists of four primary pillars -- manage, prepare, sign, and act -- which collectively are called the DocuSign Agreement Cloud. The company continues to expand offerings, and its recent earnings results prove it. For Q1 FY22, revenues grew 58% year over year to $469 million. Its billings also grew 54% year over year to $527 million with a 125% net dollar retention rate. The below video goes into more detail, breaking down the pillars and solutions.</p>\n<p>#8.<b>Twilio</b> (NYSE:TWLO) is often misunderstood. Sure, it helps companies like Uber and DoorDash connect customers to businesses, but what else does it do? Here is a list of solutions Twilio can offer:</p>\n<ul>\n <li><b>Messaging:</b> You can send and receive SMS, MMS, and OTT messages globally (to and from over 180 countries) and in a scalable manner. For example, Twilio can be used to created automated replies to customers and route important requests to humans for additional interaction.</li>\n <li><b>Customer engagement:</b>Contact centers can leverage Twilio for customer engagement channels, and the tools can be quite complex. For example, Twilio offers AI-powered tools for customer self-service, automatic text notifications, callbacks, etc.</li>\n <li><b>Marketing:</b>Campaigns can use Twilio to send specific, customizable messages with the ability to track data such as click-through rates.</li>\n <li><b>Business email services:</b> Twilio can send and receive emails. Twilio SendGrid Email API allows businesses to create flexible, scalable, and engaging campaigns.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>#7<b>The Trade Desk</b> (NASDAQ:TTD) focuses on the ad-tech space, and it has a tremendous total addressable market (TAM) when you consider the possibilities in CTV. CTV means \"connected TV,\" which is essentially any television connected to the internet. Think<b>Roku</b> (NASDAQ:ROKU), YouTube, part of<b>Alphabet</b> (NASDAQ:GOOGL),<b>Amazon</b> Prime (NASDAQ:AMZN),<b>Disney</b>'s Disney+&nbsp;(NYSE:DIS), and others. Smart TVs are changing the internet, and buying The Trade Desk is the best way to play this space, in my opinion. The company allows its clients to buy advertisements or run global marketing campaigns in areas such as CTV, display ads, and even social media.
