best-selling si","content":"
RENTON, Wash., June 18 (Reuters) - Boeing Co's 737 MAX 10, the largest member of its best-selling single-aisle airplane family, took off on its maiden flight on Friday, in a further step toward recovering from the safety grounding of a smaller model.
\n
The plane completed a roughly 2-1/2-hour flight over Washington State, returning to Renton Municipal Airport near Seattle at 12:38 p.m.
\n
The first flight heralds months of testing and safety certification work before the jet is expected to enter service in 2023.
\n
In an unusual departure from the PR buzz surrounding first flights, the event was kept low-key as Boeing tries to navigate overlapping crises caused by a 20-month grounding in the wake of two crashes and the COVID-19 pandemic.
\n
Boeing's 230-seat 737-10 is designed to close the gap between its 178-to-220-seat 737-9, and Airbus's 185-to-240-seat A321neo, which dominates the top end of the narrowbody jet market, worth some $3.5 trillion over 20 years.
\n
However, the market opportunity for the 737 MAX 10 is constrained by the jet's range of about 3,300 nautical miles (6,100 km), which falls short of the A321neo's roughly 4,000 nm.
\n
Boeing must also complete safety certification of the plane under a tougher regulatory climate following two fatal crashes of a smaller 737 MAX version grounded the model for nearly two years - with a safety ban still in place in China.
\n
Boeing has carried out design and training changes on the MAX family, which returned to U.S. operations in December.
\n
Boeing Commercial Airplanes CEO Stan Deal said the company is producing about 16 737 MAX jets a month at its Renton factory.
\n
Boeing is working on safety enhancements for the 737 MAX 10, including for its air data indication system and adding a third cockpit indication requested by European regulators of the \"angle of attack,\" a parameter needed to avoid stalling or losing lift. Deal’s comments were provided to the media via a pool reporter inside a Boeing aircraft delivery center.
\n
\"We're going to take our time on this certification,\" Deal said.
\n
While the smaller MAX 8 is Boeing's fastest-selling jet, slow sales of the MAX 9 and 10 models have put Boeing at a disadvantage to the A321neo.
\n
Boeing has abandoned plans to tinker with the 737 MAX 10 design, but is weighing a bolder plan to replace the single-aisle 757, which overlaps with the top end of the MAX family.
\n
Even so, Boeing says it is confident in the MAX 10, and it is stepping up efforts to sell more of the jet, with key targets, including Ireland's Ryanair .
\n
Customers include United Airlines with 100 on order. Although sources say United is weighing a new order for at least 100 or even up to 200 MAX, its requirement for large single-aisles will be served by Airbus - reinforcing the market split.
\n
The flight, watched by dozens of employees but virtually no visitors as Boeing sought to downplay the event, showcased a revamped landing gear system illustrating an industry battle to squeeze as much mileage as possible out of the current generation of single-aisles.
\n
It raises the landing gear's height during take-off and landing, a design needed to compensate for the MAX 10's extra length and prevent the tail scraping the runway on take-off.
","collect":0,"html":"\n
\n
\n<meta http-equiv=\"Content-Type\" content=\"text/html; Although sources say United is weighing a new order for at least 100 or even up to 200 MAX, its requirement for large single-aisles will be served by Airbus - reinforcing the market split.\nThe flight, watched by dozens of employees but virtually no visitors as Boeing sought to downplay the event, showcased a revamped landing gear system illustrating an industry battle to squeeze as much mileage as possible out of the current generation of single-aisles.\nIt raises the landing gear's height during take-off and landing, a design needed to compensate for the MAX 10's extra length and prevent the tail scraping the runway on take-off.","news_type":1},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":702,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":162266054,"gmtCreate":1624065024178,"gmtModify":1703827927784,"author":{"id":"3578039067490924","authorId":"3578039067490924","name":"barristars","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/990f0ecdc28a9a87d4b6e6712697972d","crmLevel":2,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"3578039067490924","authorIdStr":"3578039067490924"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"comment and like please","listText":"comment and like please","text":"comment and like please","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":5,"commentSize":2,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/162266054","repostId":"1156696708","repostType":4,"repost":{"id":"1156696708","pubTimestamp":1624063306,"share":"https://ttm.financial/m/news/1156696708?lang=&edition=fundamental","pubTime":"2021-06-19 08:41","market":"us","language":"en","title":"Dow falls more than 500 points to close out its worst week since October","url":"https://stock-news.laohu8.com/highlight/detail?id=1156696708","media":"cnbc","summary":"Stocks fell on Friday, with theDow Jones Industrial Averageposting its worst weekly loss since Octob","content":"
\n
Stocks fell on Friday, with theDow Jones Industrial Averageposting its worst weekly loss since October, as traders worried the Federal Reserve could start raising rates sooner than expected.\nThe blue-...
\n\nWeb Link\n\n
\n","source":"cnbc_highlight","collect":0,"html":"\n
\n
\n<meta http-equiv=\"Content-Type\" content=\"text/html; TheS&P 500slid 1.3% to 4,166.45. Both the Dow and S&P 500 hit their session lows in the final minutes of trading and closed around those levels. TheNasdaq Compositeclosed 0.9% lower at 14,030.38. Economic comeback plays led the market losses.\nFor the week, the 30-stock Dow lost 3.5%. The S&P 500 and Nasdaq were down by 1.9% and 0.2%, respectively, week to date.\nSt. Louis Federal Reserve President Jim Bullardtold CNBC's \"Squawk Box\"on Friday it was natural for the Fed to tilt a little \"hawkish\" this week and that the first rate increase from the central bank would likely come in 2022. His comments came after the Fed on Wednesday added two rate hikes to its 2023 forecast and increased its inflation projection for the year, putting pressure on stock prices.\n\"The fear held by some investors is that if the Fed tightens policy sooner than expected to help cool inflationary pressures, this could weigh on future economic growth,\" Truist Advisory Services chief market strategist Keith Lerner said in a note. To be sure, he added it would be premature to give up on the so-called value trade right now.\nPockets of the market most sensitive to the economic rebound led the sell-off this week. The S&P 500 energy sector and industrials dropped 5.2% and 3.8%, respectively, for the week. Financials and materials meanwhile, lost more than 6% each. These groups had been market leaders this year on the back of the economic reopening.\nThe decline in stocks came as the Fed's actions caused a drastic flattening of the so-called Treasury yield curve. This means the yields of shorter-duration Treasurys — like the 2-year note — rose while longer-duration yields like the benchmark 10-year declined. The retreat in long-dated bond yields reflects less optimism toward economic growth, while the jump in short-end yields shows the expectations of the Fed raising rates.\nThis phenomenon hurt bank stocks particularly as their earnings could take a hit when the spread between short-term and long-term rates narrows. Bank of America and JPMorgan Chase shares on Friday lost more than 2% each. Citigroup fell by 1.8%, posting its 12th straight daily decline.\nFed Chairman Jerome Powell said Wednesday that officials have discussed tapering bond buying and would at some point begin slowing the asset purchases.\n\"This week's first whiff of an eventual change in Fed policy was a reminder that emergency monetary conditions and the free-money era will ultimately end,\" strategists at MRB Partners wrote in a note. \"We expect a series of incremental retreats from the Fed's benign inflation outlook in the coming months.\"\nCommodity prices were underpressure this weekas China attempted to cool rising prices and as the U.S. dollar strengthens. Copper, gold and platinum fell once again on Friday.\nFriday also coincided with the quarterly \"quadruple witching\" in which options and futures on indexes and equities expire. This event may have contributed to more volatile trading during the session.","news_type":1},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":705,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":166574973,"gmtCreate":1624020449492,"gmtModify":1703826728170,"author":{"id":"3578039067490924","authorId":"3578039067490924","name":"barristars","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/990f0ecdc28a9a87d4b6e6712697972d","crmLevel":2,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"3578039067490924","authorIdStr":"3578039067490924"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"$Uxin(UXIN)$helpp","listText":"$Uxin(UXIN)$helpp","text":"$Uxin(UXIN)$helpp","images":[{"img":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/070c98fa32e1cae0d44c38284579b5c6","width":"1080","height":"1920"}],"top":1,"highlighted":2,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":9,"commentSize":11,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/166574973","isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":3541,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":1,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":166529608,"gmtCreate":1624018893804,"gmtModify":1703826677164,"author":{"id":"3578039067490924","authorId":"3578039067490924","name":"barristars","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/990f0ecdc28a9a87d4b6e6712697972d","crmLevel":2,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"3578039067490924","authorIdStr":"3578039067490924"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"please like my post","listText":"please like my post","text":"please like my post","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":3,"commentSize":1,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/166529608","repostId":"2144775754","repostType":4,"repost":{"id":"2144775754","pubTimestamp":1624017000,"share":"https://ttm.financial/m/news/2144775754?lang=&edition=fundamental","pubTime":"2021-06-18 19:50","market":"us","language":"en","title":"Disney's Reopening Is On Track, But What's Up With the Stock?","url":"https://stock-news.laohu8.com/highlight/detail?id=2144775754","media":"Motley Fool","summary":"A slight miss in Disney+ subscribers disappointed investors, but that's missing the forest for the trees.","content":"
Disney (NYSE:DIS) stock has doubled from its pandemic low in March 2020. But with the stock price, it's all about \"what have you done for me lately?\" Investors were disappointed with a \"miss\" on the Disney+ subscriber numbers from the most recent quarter, and the stock pulled back a bit after earnings. On this Motley Fool Live episode recorded on May 26, Motley Fool contributors Toby Bordelon and Brian Withers discuss the results from its recent quarter and whether the stock has \"priced in\" the reopening surge already.
\n
Toby Bordelon: Let's jump into the next stock here, and lets talk about Disney, what not to love? We got theme parks reopening. What's going on. We have California theme parks are open now. They opened at the end of April. They are heading to full capacity. June 1st of 4th, one of those. I can't remember the exact date, but next week or the week after, they will be at full capacity. This is fantastic.
\n
If you remember to pre-pandemic if you followed Disney, their biggest revenue segment was the theme parks, which also includes the cruise lines. But to have those parks getting back to full capacity is a very good thing. People are coming back to theaters. I saw a recent survey from a movie theater chain or Fandango I believe it was. The percentages are really high in terms of people who are going to theaters who want to go back, who are going to go see multiple movies at summer or plan to. That's a really good sign. Marvel's Phase Four is about to kick off in the theaters. We got a couple of new shows on Disney+ Loki starting up, beginning in June.
\n
But let's talk about one thing. Let's highlight one thing here. The recent earnings report with a little bit disappointing to some investors because of those Disney+ numbers. What were those numbers? They came in at 104 million subscribers, and were expecting 109 million, and so were quibbling at about a five percent difference. When if you look at what's happened in the past year-and-a-half, Disney+ has gone from 0-104 million in about 17 months. That's amazing and I don't want to, I think if you are quibbling over five million, you're missing the point here. They'll outperform Netflix in the quarter in terms of additional subscribers. ESPN+ seems to be growing, which is strange when we think about because that's the one that probably has the least amount of original content. They are doing well, average revenue per user is growing at that at ESPN+ turn, churn at Disney+ is not a problem. They seem to be doing quite well there. I think this company is doing fine. I don't think anyone should worry about this, and future looks good for them.
\n
Brian Withers: That's an exciting update. Toby, I love to see the parks coming back open again. But the market has already priced a lot of this reopening already into the stock. I looked at the stock prices from March of 2020, mid-March when the coronavirus really came in and started to shut things down. Disney [stock] has doubled since then. Do you think we could see Disney shares priced lower a year from now?
\n
Toby Bordelon: It's certainly possible. Like you said, there is a lot of priced in right now. But I think we may be surprised when we get to the end of this year about the rebound surge of the theme parks and the movie theaters. I'm not sure that even with pricing in this reopening trade as it were, that we're really capturing the fullness of what Disney can do.
\n
Look at those theme parks. We got the Star Wars hotel that's opening up, which is a multi-day experience that you stay in this hotel and you don't leave. The new Avengers Campus at Disneyland, I think that's opening up beginning of June as well. There is a lot going on to both bringing people back and to potentially bring in a new segment of people who might not have been big fans of Disneyland, Disney World parks before with The Avengers and Star Wars stuff. This is a major entertainment juggernaut and that's not going to change anytime soon. Maybe you see a little bit of drop-off in the stock price, but it's not something I would worry about really.
","source":"fool_stock","collect":0,"html":"\n
\n
\n\n\n\n
Disney's Reopening Is On Track, But What's Up With the Stock?
\n\n
\n
\n
\n
\n
\nDisney's Reopening Is On Track, But What's Up With the Stock?\n
\n\n
\n\n\n2021-06-18 19:50 GMT+8 Motley Fool\n\n\n
\n\n
\n
\n
\n
Disney (NYSE:DIS) stock has doubled from its pandemic low in March 2020. I don't think anyone should worry about this, and future looks good for them.\nBrian Withers: That's an exciting update. Toby, I love to see the parks coming back open again. But the market has already priced a lot of this reopening already into the stock. I looked at the stock prices from March of 2020, mid-March when the coronavirus really came in and started to shut things down. Disney [stock] has doubled since then. Do you think we could see Disney shares priced lower a year from now?\nToby Bordelon: It's certainly possible. Like you said, there is a lot of priced in right now. But I think we may be surprised when we get to the end of this year about the rebound surge of the theme parks and the movie theaters. I'm not sure that even with pricing in this reopening trade as it were, that we're really capturing the fullness of what Disney can do.\nLook at those theme parks. Maybe you see a little bit of drop-off in the stock price, but it's not something I would worry about really.","news_type":1},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":631,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":161148069,"gmtCreate":1623913704151,"gmtModify":1703823365622,"author":{"id":"3578039067490924","authorId":"3578039067490924","name":"barristars","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/990f0ecdc28a9a87d4b6e6712697972d","crmLevel":2,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"3578039067490924","authorIdStr":"3578039067490924"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"$Sonos Inc(SONO)$hopefully...","listText":"$Sonos Inc(SONO)$hopefully...","text":"$Sonos Inc(SONO)$hopefully...","images":[{"img":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/6c75760d7d3a624ef50d7476e9aa097f","width":"1080","height":"1920"}],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":1,"commentSize":2,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/161148069","isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":793,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[{"author":{"id":"3578350332890873","authorId":"3578350332890873","name":"tseechu1","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/0c0f4d70e2e88f11bd9f8995165754be","crmLevel":3,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"idStr":"3578350332890873","authorIdStr":"3578350332890873"},"content":"It got to be. Together with partners, it has said it will supply more than 1 billion doses in 2022.","news_type":1},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":808,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":163750017,"gmtCreate":1623894266839,"gmtModify":1703822787547,"author":{"id":"3578039067490924","authorId":"3578039067490924","name":"barristars","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/990f0ecdc28a9a87d4b6e6712697972d","crmLevel":2,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"3578039067490924","authorIdStr":"3578039067490924"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"$CureVac B.V.(CVAC)$I'm shocked. beyond words","listText":"$CureVac B.V.(CVAC)$I'm shocked. beyond words","text":"$CureVac B.V.(CVAC)$I'm shocked. beyond words","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":3,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/163750017","isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":909,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":169413153,"gmtCreate":1623846977172,"gmtModify":1703821216280,"author":{"id":"3578039067490924","authorId":"3578039067490924","name":"barristars","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/990f0ecdc28a9a87d4b6e6712697972d","crmLevel":2,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"3578039067490924","authorIdStr":"3578039067490924"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"it's been like that for a while..","listText":"it's been like that for a while..","text":"it's been like that for a while..","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":1,"commentSize":1,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/169413153","repostId":"2143897767","repostType":4,"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":827,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":187657596,"gmtCreate":1623753280715,"gmtModify":1704210552306,"author":{"id":"3578039067490924","authorId":"3578039067490924","name":"barristars","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/990f0ecdc28a9a87d4b6e6712697972d","crmLevel":2,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"3578039067490924","authorIdStr":"3578039067490924"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"$Naked Brand(NAKD)$yup hold the line!!","listText":"$Naked Brand(NAKD)$yup hold the line!!","text":"$Naked Brand(NAKD)$yup hold the line!!","images":[{"img":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/28c1f6990d1e30a3a5b231bed7406957","width":"1080","height":"1920"}],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":0,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/187657596","isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":663,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":1,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":182819783,"gmtCreate":1623562038642,"gmtModify":1704206251939,"author":{"id":"3578039067490924","authorId":"3578039067490924","name":"barristars","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/990f0ecdc28a9a87d4b6e6712697972d","crmLevel":2,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"3578039067490924","authorIdStr":"3578039067490924"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"correct","listText":"correct","text":"correct","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":3,"commentSize":1,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/182819783","repostId":"2143788707","repostType":4,"repost":{"id":"2143788707","weMediaInfo":{"introduction":"Dow Jones publishes the world’s most trusted business news and financial information in a variety of media.","home_visible":0,"media_name":"Dow Jones","id":"106","head_image":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/150f88aa4d182df19190059f4a365e99"},"pubTimestamp":1623530820,"share":"https://ttm.financial/m/news/2143788707?lang=&edition=fundamental","pubTime":"2021-06-13 04:47","market":"hk","language":"en","title":"How tech companies are bringing workers back to the office: Slowly and with 'social' incentives","url":"https://stock-news.laohu8.com/highlight/detail?id=2143788707","media":"Dow Jones","summary":"'The claims that \"the office is dead\" are over-hyped,' Twilio executive says. 'The truth is that the reasons people come into the physical office are changing.'\nAs they return to work, employees of website platform Contentful Inc. are getting an eyeful of their new offices in Berlin and Denver and a realigned headquarters in San Francisco, which include hallmarks of the post-pandemic workplace -- a theater in Berlin and group rooms in San Francisco that are devoted to interactive meetings, with kitchen space doubled.\n\"We think the office is a social place first,\" Contentful Chief Executive Steve Sloan told MarketWatch. \"The office is where the great ideas are hatched -- especially in an idea-centric economy.\"\nMillions of tech workers are slowly making the migration back to offices as millions become fully vaccinated and states lift restrictions. At Contentful, all 550 employees, including Sloan, will continue to work from home most of the time, and occasionally venture into the office for socializing and collaboration.\nBut many of those returning may not recognize the new digs, which are largely being designed to foster a nexus of ideas shared in theater-like settings and socially-distanced conference rooms, with specialized break-out areas for brainstorming and socializing. Workers will need to get used to the new office lingo of dynamic spaces and hoteling.\n\"It's about going into the tunnel, and coming out of the tunnel,\" VMware Chief Operating Officer Sanjay Poonen told MarketWatch, about a conservative return to the office. \"This is sort of like a traffic jam -- you slow down, and then gradually regain speed. We will get back to normalcy.\"\nTech companies -- among the first to ask employees to work from home during the pandemic -- are leading the return to the office by the fall. Their reopening plans offer a glimpse into office life of the next few years, with a heavy emphasis on a hybrid work model and three-day work weeks onsite, as well as no vaccine requirements. California's COVID-19 state of emergency order will remain in place beyond June 15, despite plans to fully reopen the state's economy on that date, Gov. Gavin Newsom said Friday.\n\"Three days a week [in the office] is the new five,\" Twilio Inc. (TWLO) Chief People Officer Christy Lake told MarketWatch, noting that 77% of the company's employees said they miss the office. \"The claims that 'the office is dead' are over-hyped. The truth is that the reasons people come into the physical office are changing.\"\nDynamic spaces will occupy a key part of Twilio's plans. The San Francisco-based company has revamped offices with specific areas for open collaboration, community and socializing, heads-down work, and flexible multipurpose spaces, said Lake, who added that some employees will trickle back to Twilio's Bay Area offices beginning July 14. Employees have the option of working from home throughout the year.\nPre-pandemic, many in Silicon Valley were already on the path to a hybrid situation. Advances in videoconferencing technology and bandwidth had given them the luxury of working from home several days a week to avoid car-choked freeways. And employers were OK with the arrangement to scoop up talent from across the country. What COVID did was accelerate a work trend that was already clearly in motion, said Heather Kernahan, global CEO at PR agency Hotwire.\n\"It's not going 'back to work.' We've been working hard,\" Kernahan said. \"Thoughtful working is what you do, not where you go.\"\nAn exodus back to the office is likely to occur by September, based on data collected by real-estate company Savills, which surveyed more than 120 tech companies in March. More than half said they expect to be back in the office by the third quarter of this calendar year.\nSilicon Valley's largest employers, sitting on millions of square feet of land they own, have been particularly aggressive in dictating when workers get back. How that pans out in an era when employees are increasingly outspoken about work conditions, including the option to work exclusively from home, bears watching, say labor experts.\nWhile employees at smaller companies have overwhelmingly shown a preference to return, those at Apple and other behemoths aren't so sure, given the large number of people congregating in one place.\nShortly after Apple Inc. $(AAPL)$ pronounced employees must work in the office at least three days a week (Monday, Tuesday and Thursday) beginning in early September -- including at Apple Park, the futuristic \"spaceship\"-like headquarters in Cupertino, Calif., that the company spent an estimated $5 billion to design and build -- some workers pushed back.\n\"We would like to take the opportunity to communicate a growing concern among our colleagues,\" Apple employees said in a letter to Apple CEO Tim Cook. \"That Apple's remote/location-flexible work policy, and the communication around it, have already forced some of our colleagues to quit. Without the inclusivity that flexibility brings, many of us feel we have to choose between either a combination of our families, our well-being, and being empowered to do our best work, or being a part of Apple.\"\nGoogle parent Alphabet Inc. $(GOOGL)$(GOOGL) said it expects about 20% of its workforce to remain fully remote this fall , while 60% will work a hybrid office/home mix.\nFacebook Inc. (FB) employees have returned to a 10% maximum capacity at corporate headquarters in Menlo Park, Calif., and other select San Francisco Bay Area offices. Facebook is likely to fully reopen most U.S. offices by October, and non-remote employees will work in offices at least half the time. The company and Twitter Inc. (TWTR) have said employees will be allowed to permanently work from home if their jobs allow for it.\nMarketWatch talked to at least 20 companies, and a handful, including Twilio and Box, require employees to be vaccinated before returning to the office. Facebook and Amazon.com Inc. $(AMZN)$, for example, only encourage employees to vaccinate.\nOthers, however, have taken a more measured approach.\nSalesforce.com Inc. $(CRM.AU)$ reopened its first U.S. office, the Salesforce Tower headquarters in San Francisco, in May. Offices in Palo Alto, Calif., and Irvine, Calif, will follow in the coming months. At the same time, the company extended the option for all employees to continue to work from home through the end of 2021.\nOkta Inc. (OKTA) is shifting from large, campus-type locations serving regions to distributed offices based on where employees live. The new offices will function like Apple stores -- an \"experiential place\" where customers and partners can learn about products and chat with experts, and employees can collaborate as needed, an Okta spokeswoman told MarketWatch.\nBox Inc. $(BOX.UK)$ is opening its San Francisco office in mid-July and its Redwood City, Calif., headquarters in early August at limited capacity, per local regulations. What its workers will encounter is a mix of assigned desks and hoteling, a form of office management in which workers schedule their use of desks, cubicles and offices. But travel remains prohibited until at least later this summer, and quarterly all-hands meetings will remain virtual through Feb. 1, 2022.\nHewlett Packard Enterprise Co. $(HPE)$ has divided its workforce into two classes: \"Edge\" workers will come to the office with their laptops once or twice a week for meetings, collaboration and culture. \"Office\" workers will maintain dedicated work stations and come to the office most days.\nGerman software giant SAP (SAP.XE), which has a Palo Alto, Calif., campus, opened its offices in late April at less than 5% daily capacity for \"employees who choose to return to the office for business critical needs,\" a spokesperson said.\nThen there are outliers like VMware Inc. $(VMW)$, where few employees currently work onsite. fell on Friday, with theDow Jones Industrial Averageposting its worst weekly loss since October, as traders worried the Federal Reserve could start raising rates sooner than expected.\nThe blue-chip average dropped 533.37 points, or 1.6%, to 33,290.08. TheS&P 500slid 1.3% to 4,166.45. This event may have contributed to more volatile trading during the session.","news_type":1},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":705,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":189926323,"gmtCreate":1623241327662,"gmtModify":1704199068707,"author":{"id":"3578039067490924","authorId":"3578039067490924","name":"barristars","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/990f0ecdc28a9a87d4b6e6712697972d","crmLevel":2,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"3578039067490924","authorIdStr":"3578039067490924"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"$Naked Brand(NAKD)$latest update. hang in there people ","listText":"$Naked Brand(NAKD)$latest update. hang in there people ","text":"$Naked Brand(NAKD)$latest update. hang in there people","images":[{"img":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/d4ee3ce00a268da89184ecbbee07787e","width":"1080","height":"2400"}],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":3,"commentSize":1,"repostSize":1,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/189926323","isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":960,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":1,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":374397387,"gmtCreate":1619416653449,"gmtModify":1704723510202,"author":{"id":"3578039067490924","authorId":"3578039067490924","name":"barristars","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/990f0ecdc28a9a87d4b6e6712697972d","crmLevel":2,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"3578039067490924","authorIdStr":"3578039067490924"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"$SINGAPORE AIRLINES LTD(C6L.SI)$to the moon","listText":"$SINGAPORE AIRLINES LTD(C6L.SI)$to the moon","text":"$SINGAPORE AIRLINES LTD(C6L.SI)$to the moon","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":5,"commentSize":2,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/374397387","isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":274,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":165010762,"gmtCreate":1624080233256,"gmtModify":1703828458164,"author":{"id":"3578039067490924","authorId":"3578039067490924","name":"barristars","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/990f0ecdc28a9a87d4b6e6712697972d","crmLevel":2,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"3578039067490924","authorIdStr":"3578039067490924"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"like my comment","listText":"like my comment","text":"like my comment","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":4,"commentSize":2,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/165010762","repostId":"2144086770","repostType":4,"repost":{"id":"2144086770","weMediaInfo":{"introduction":"Reuters.com brings you the latest news from around the world, covering breaking news in markets, business, politics, entertainment and technology","home_visible":1,"media_name":"Reuters","id":"1036604489","head_image":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/443ce19704621c837795676028cec868"},"pubTimestamp":1624062134,"share":"https://ttm.financial/m/news/2144086770?lang=&edition=fundamental","pubTime":"2021-06-19 08:22","market":"us","language":"en","title":"Largest Boeing 737 MAX model takes off on maiden flight","url":"https://stock-news.laohu8.com/highlight/detail?id=2144086770","media":"Reuters","summary":"RENTON, Wash., June 18 (Reuters) - Boeing Co's 737 MAX 10, the largest member of its best-selling si","content":"
\n
\n<meta http-equiv=\"Content-Type\" content=\"text/html; But with the stock price, it's all about \"what have you done for me lately?\" Investors were disappointed with a \"miss\" on the Disney+ subscriber numbers from the most recent quarter, and the stock pulled back a bit after earnings.
The company is offering employees the choice to permanently work from home as part of a digital-first approach. VMware prohibits meetings and events of more than 10 people at the office -- a policy that will remain in effect until at least July 30. Few employees are currently working at the office, according to the company.\nBoatsetter Inc., an online platform for boat rentals in Florida, went to the extreme and shed 6,000 feet of office space.\nWhether employees are entirely open to the idea of returning full-time in the foreseeable future is another matter.\nAbout one in three (34%) working from home said they would look for a new job if forced to be in the office full time, and nearly half (49%) prefer a hybrid arrangement, according to a Robert Half poll of 1,000 U.S. workers in March .\n\"After a year of drastic change, many business leaders are eager to restore a sense of normalcy and welcome staff back to the office,\" said Paul McDonald, senior executive director at Robert Half. \"But reopening doors will bring new obstacles for companies to navigate.
