The company also secured approval for a major power line to its future New York megafab, which reinforces its strategic U.S. role. See our latest analysis for Micron Technology. Micron’s share price momentum is unmistakable right now, with a stunning 26.5% gain over the past month and a year-to-date share price return of nearly 132%. Several high-profile analyst upgrades and back-to-back all-time highs reflect broader confidence in Micron’s fundamentals. Even with the recent volatility around its planned exit from China’s server chip market, booming AI demand, record profitability, and key infrastructure wins are keeping long-term growth prospects strong. If Micron’s breakout caught your attention, now’s the perfect time to discover See the full list for free. Yet with shares rallying more than 130% this year and analyst price targets rising in tandem, the crucial question is whether Micron’s recent momentum still leaves room for upside or if the market has already priced in years of expected growth. AdvertisementMost Popular Narrative: 10% Overvalued Micron shares now sit above the widely followed fair value estimate, slightly outpacing projections after recent strong gains and investor enthusiasm. The most popular narrative draws from a bullish belief in Micron’s ability to retain pricing power, but some risk premium remains embedded in the discount rate and margin forecasts. Bullish analysts highlight prospects of sustained higher DRAM pricing and favorable supply-demand dynamics. These are expected to drive Micron’s gross margins back toward 60% and lift earnings per share above previous peaks. Read the complete narrative. Want to know the growth blueprint behind this high valuation? The key element of this narrative is record-breaking earnings and a future profit multiple usually associated with tech leaders. Intensifying chip competition and sector volatility could erode Micron’s advantage and pressure its long-term growth narrative. Find out about the key risks to this Micron Technology narrative. Another View: What Do Multiples Say? Looking from a different angle, Micron is trading at a price-to-earnings ratio of 26.6x. That is notably below the semiconductor industry’s 35.9x average and far under its peer group at 61.7x. This gap could represent relative value, or it could highlight why the market is cautious about future growth. Could the “fair ratio” of 40.7x be where Micron trends next, or is the current discount justified? See what the numbers say about this price — find out in our valuation breakdown. It is offering 18 million shares and could raise up to $450 million at a valuation of $3.6 billion.The company’s stock will list on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker symbol OLO, .Olo, which was founded in 2005 and is short for “online ordering,” powers 1.8 million orders a day for well-known restaurant chains such as Denny’s, the Cheesecake Factory, Shake Shack and more, as well as Peet’s Coffee, Jamba Juice and others. The company’s revenue surged 94% in 2020 year over year, it said in a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.“As consumers have become accustomed to the immediate convenience of on-demand commerce, they are demanding the same digital experience from restaurants, placing significant pressure on restaurants to deploy solutions,” Olo said. “This demand has only accelerated since the onset of COVID-19, as on-demand commerce has become a necessity for the majority of restaurants.”Olo said that as of Dec. 31, it had about 400 brand partners and its technology — which includes digital ordering and enabling delivery — was being used at more than 64,000 locations.The company reported net income of $3.1 million on revenue of $98.4 million last year, compared with a net loss of $8.3 million on revenue of $50.7 million in 2019.Olo raised less than $100 million since its inception, it said, including from investors such as The Raine Group, Tiger Global Management and RRE Ventures.The IPO will be led by Goldman Sachs and J.P. Morgan, two of eight underwriters listed in the filing.","news_type":1,"symbols_score_info":{"OLO":0.9}},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":374,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0}],"lives":[]}
