of Palantir (PLTR) dropped into a down-trend in November and are now trading near 1-year lows. While the tech sector and growth plays are apparently out of favor now, Palantirās approaching earnings date could supply a catalyst for a new upleg. Palantir is set to report record revenues and free cash flow next week, and may initiate strong free cash flow guidance for FY 2022. Since an acceleration of growth in the private enterprise business can also be expected for Q4'21, shares of Palantir are a buy before the company reports earnings!

Why Palantir could be set to crush earnings expectations

The earnings date for Palantir is approaching and the software analytics firm could supply an earnings card that is much better than expected.Palantirās guidanceĀ for the fourth-quarter and for the 2021 fiscal year calls for:

Q4ā21 revenues of $418M, implying 7% quarter over quarter growth

Q4ā21 adjusted operating margin of 22%

FY 2021 revenues of $1.53B, implying 40% revenue growth year over year

FY 2021 free cash flow of at least $400M.

Given that momentum in Palantirās (private enterprise) business accelerated throughout 2021 and that the firm increased its free cash flow guidance for FY 2021 more than once last year, I believe Palantir is going to report much better results for the fourth-quarter and for the full-year than what the company itself guided for. The result could be a major revaluation of Palantirās shares next week, especially if an impressive earnings card goes together with strong free cash flow guidance for FY 2022.

For the fourth-quarter, I expect revenues of $725M, $7M above guidance and an adjusted operating margin of 28-30%, significantly above Palantirās margin guidance of 22%. The reason for these optimistic predictions is that more commercial clients will likely have taken up Palantirās services in the fourth-quarter and the private enterprise business has seen a consistent revenue acceleration last year. More clients have signed on to Palantirās software platform throughout the year and the company expanded its client base materially in FY 2021. Palantir added 64 clients to its software platform last year which calculates to an average net addition of 21 new paying clients per quarter. However, Palantirās customer acquisition also accelerated in every single quarter in 2021, showing real momentum that has been reflected in Palantirās significant revenue and free cash flow ramp.

What is also making a difference for Palantir besides a growing commercial client book is growth in average revenue per customer. The average top twenty customer spend $41M on Palantirās services in the third-quarter which is a 35% increase over the year-earlier period. I estimate that Palantir, due to strong customer acquisition in Q4'21, will have grown this figure to $43M by year-end 2021.

In the third-quarter, Palantirās commercial customer count increased a massive 46%, quarter over quarter, as more customers adopted Palantirās Foundry for Builders. Palantir reported acceleratingĀ commercial revenue growtheĀ very single quarter in FY 2021 and could close in on 40% commercial revenue growth, year over year, in the fourth-quarter. This momentum in the private enterprise market strongly raises the possibility of a material free cash flow outperformance for FY 2021.

Palantir

The most important financial figure Palantir is going to report next week will be free cash flow. If I had to pinpoint one specific financial number that could make or break Palantirās future, it would be this one.

What investors should remember is that Palantir a year ago expected FY 2021 to only be a free cash flow breakeven year. The firm started to materially increase its free cash flow guidance in the first-quarter 2021. Palantir guided for at least $400M in free cash flow for FY 2021, but the company already secured 80% of its low-case free cash flow guidance by the end of Q3ā21. Third-quarter free cash flow was $119M, showing 139% quarter over quarter growth. At the same time, the free cash flow margin improved from 13% to 30%, meaning revenue to free cash flow conversion improved dramatically in the second half of the year. Palantir would therefore only have to report $80M in Q4'21 free cash flow to meet its full-year FCF guidance, which is something Palantir should easily be able to do. I estimate that Palantir could report FY 2021 free cash flow of up to $460M based off of growing average revenue per customer, rising Foundry for Builders adoption, a higher commercial customer count and a free cash flow margin of 30%.

The most interesting part of Palantirās earnings card next week, however, will be the free cash flow guidance for FY 2022. I believe this guidance especially has the potential to power Palantirās shares higher.

Because of the momentum in Palantirās business, I am raising my revenue estimate for FY 2022 to $2.13B, 5% above my last estimate of $2.03B. Assuming a 35% free cash flow margin, Palantir could generate $745M in free cash flow in FY 2022, indicating 86% year over year growth potential (calculated based off of Palantirās full-year FCF guidance of $400M). Free cash flow, however, could be even better. Palantir started a new business calledĀ Foundry for CryptoĀ lately, which is an entirely new segment that is targeting the rapidly evolving market for digital currencies. Palantir started the business in 2021 and is going to roll out services at scale in 2022. If this business gets a good start, it wouldnāt take much for Palantir to double its free cash flow, year over year, in FY 2022.

Palantir is cheap

Palantirās earnings card for FY 2021 and guidance for FY 2022 will have an impact on estimates. Currently, revenue estimates are anchored at around $2.0B for FY 2022. If Palantirās guidance calls for more than 30% revenue growth this year- which I believe is very likely- revenue predictions will be refreshed and shares of Palantir will have a lower sales multiplier factor.

Data by YCharts

Risks with Palantir

Slowing revenue and free cash flow growth, weaker free cash flow and operating margins, a disappointing FCF guidance for FY 2022 are all risks for Palantir. The canary in the coal mine is likely slowing growth in the private enterprise business, because this is what supports Palantir's revenue and free cash flow gains right now.

Final thoughts

I believe Palantir is going to crush it next week. Specifically, I expect that Palantir will outperform its own guidance regarding Q4ā21 and full-year revenues and free cash flow. Average revenue per customer should also continue to grow. The free cash flow guidance for FY 2022, however, could be a real beauty considering Palantirās revenue acceleration in the private enterprise business and stronger free cash flow (margins) in the second half of the year. If FY 2022 revenue and FCF guidance is strong- which I believe it will be- Palantir is up for a major revaluation in the stock market!

","collect":0,"html":"\n
\n
\n\n\n\n
Palantir Is Set To Beat Free Cash Flow Expectations, Here's Why
\n\n
\n
\n
\n
\n
\nPalantir Is Set To Beat Free Cash Flow Expectations, Here's Why\n
\n\n
\n\n\n2022-02-10 13:55 GMT+8 Seeking Alpha\n\n\n
\n\n
\n
\n
\n
SummaryPalantir is expected to submit its earnings card on Thursday, February 17, 2022.Momentum in the private enterprise business could see Palantir materially beat its own guidance for FY 2021.FY ...
\n\nWeb Link\n\n
\n\n\n
\n
\n
\n
\n","type":0,"thumbnail":"","relate_stocks":{"PLTR":"Palantir Technologies Inc."},"source_url":"https://seekingalpha.com/article/4485431-palantir-q4-earnings-preview-poised-beat-expectations","is_english":true,"share_image_url":"https://static.laohu8.com/e9f99090a1c2ed51c021029395664489","article_id":"1115712053","content_text":"SummaryPalantir is expected to submit its earnings card on Thursday, February 17, 2022.Momentum in the private enterprise business could see Palantir materially beat its own guidance for FY 2021.FY 2022 revenue and free cash flow guidance could be very strong and result in a new upleg for Palantir's beaten-down shares.NicoElNino/iStock via Getty ImagesShares of Palantir (PLTR) dropped into a down-trend in November and are now trading near 1-year lows. If this business gets a good start, it wouldnāt take much for Palantir to double its free cash flow, year over year, in FY 2022.Palantir is cheapPalantirās earnings card for FY 2021 and guidance for FY 2022 will have an impact on estimates. Currently, revenue estimates are anchored at around $2.0B for FY 2022. If Palantirās guidance calls for more than 30% revenue growth this year- which I believe is very likely- revenue predictions will be refreshed and shares of Palantir will have a lower sales multiplier factor.Data by YChartsRisks with PalantirSlowing revenue and free cash flow growth, weaker free cash flow and operating margins, a disappointing FCF guidance for FY 2022 are all risks for Palantir. The canary in the coal mine is likely slowing growth in the private enterprise business, because this is what supports Palantir's revenue and free cash flow gains right now.Final thoughtsI believe Palantir is going to crush it next week. If FY 2022 revenue and FCF guidance is strong- which I believe it will be- Palantir is up for a major revaluation in the stock market!","news_type":1},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":376,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":9091131136,"gmtCreate":1643797365556,"gmtModify":1676533857485,"author":{"id":"3580348895162828","authorId":"3580348895162828","name":"Yanishere","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/f30b5c3e40c28985c8e0298b0cc59028","crmLevel":2,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"3580348895162828","authorIdStr":"3580348895162828"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"[Cool] ","listText":"[Cool] ","text":"[Cool]","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":2,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/9091131136","repostId":"1111473451","repostType":4,"repost":{"id":"1111473451","kind":"news","weMediaInfo":{"introduction":"Providing stock market headlines, business news, financials and earnings ","home_visible":1,"media_name":"Tiger Newspress","id":"1079075236","head_image":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/8274c5b9d4c2852bfb1c4d6ce16c68ba"},"pubTimestamp":1643794763,"share":"https://ttm.financial/m/news/1111473451?lang=&edition=fundamental","pubTime":"2022-02-02 17:39","market":"us","language":"en","title":"Block shares fell 8% in premarket trading","url":"https://stock-news.laohu8.com/highlight/detail?id=1111473451","media":"Tiger Newspress","summary":"BlockĀ sharesĀ fellĀ 8%Ā inĀ premarketĀ trading.Square parent $Block Inc.Ā will let its merchant customers ","content":"

BlockĀ sharesĀ fellĀ 8%Ā inĀ premarketĀ trading.Square parent $Block Inc.Ā will let its merchant customers offer Afterpay installment options to customers in its first step toward integrating the newly-closed acquisition.

The company also announced late Monday that its deal for Australian BNPL operator Afterpay has officially closed. Let's see what this new iPhone could be all about and how it could supercharge Apple's growth.
\n
An entry-level 5G iPhone could be a big deal
\n
Investment bank J.P. Morgan believes that Apple could be working on a 5G-enabled version of its entry-level iPhone SE device. Analyst Samik Chatterjee estimates that Apple could launch the 5G iPhone SE in early 2022 and give its massive installed base of users another reason to upgrade. Chatterjee estimates that the new device could help Apple tap into an installed base of 300 million users who are currently using older iPhones.
\n
\n
However, J.P. Morgan points out that the bigger prize for Apple's 5G iPhone SE could be the 1.4 billion Android users who own low- to mid-end smartphones. That's because the 5G iPhone SE is expected to be the cheapest 5G-enabled iPhone that Apple will offer, with average selling prices anticipated to range between $269 and $399 after accounting for trade-ins.
\n
For comparison, the cheapest 5G-enabled iPhone that consumers can currently buy is the iPhone 12 mini, which retails on Apple's website for a starting price of $599 before trade-ins. A cheaper device could help Apple bring more users into its fold from the Android universe. That's because the average selling price (ASP) of an Android smartphone is estimated to hit $261 at the end of 2021 as per third-party estimates, while Apple's iPhone reportedly commands an ASP of $950.
\n
Moreover, the ASP of a 5G smartphone in 2021 stands at $643, according to estimates from IDC. The research firm estimates that 5G smartphone ASP could drop to $416 by 2025, so Apple would be making a smart move by launching an affordable 5G device to corner a bigger share of the 5G smartphone market.
\n
It won't be surprising to see the idea of a 5G iPhone SE turn into reality, as J.P. Morgan isn't the first source to point out the potential existence of such a device. Noted Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo had pointed out earlier this year that the company's 2022 iPhone SE would be its most affordable smartphone. It would make sense for Apple to launch such a device considering that a budget-oriented 5G iPhone could help expand its wings in emerging markets as well.
\n
Apple is expected to step on the gas in 2022
\n
J.P. Morgan has raised its price target on Apple stock to $210 from $180, which implies a 23% upside from its closing price on Friday, Dec. 17. Let's see what this new iPhone could be all about and how it could supercharge Apple's growth.\nAn entry-level 5G iPhone could be a big deal\nInvestment bank J.P. Morgan believes that Apple could be working on a 5G-enabled version of its entry-level iPhone SE device. Analyst Samik Chatterjee estimates that Apple could launch the 5G iPhone SE in early 2022 and give its massive installed base of users another reason to upgrade. Chatterjee estimates that the new device could help Apple tap into an installed base of 300 million users who are currently using older iPhones.\nImage source: Getty Images\nHowever, J.P. Morgan points out that the bigger prize for Apple's 5G iPhone SE could be the 1.4 billion Android users who own low- to mid-end smartphones. That's because the 5G iPhone SE is expected to be the cheapest 5G-enabled iPhone that Apple will offer, with average selling prices anticipated to range between $269 and $399 after accounting for trade-ins.\nFor comparison, the cheapest 5G-enabled iPhone that consumers can currently buy is the iPhone 12 mini, which retails on Apple's website for a starting price of $599 before trade-ins. A cheaper device could help Apple bring more users into its fold from the Android universe. That's because the average selling price (ASP) of an Android smartphone is estimated to hit $261 at the end of 2021 as per third-party estimates, while Apple's iPhone reportedly commands an ASP of $950.\nMoreover, the ASP of a 5G smartphone in 2021 stands at $643, according to estimates from IDC. The research firm estimates that 5G smartphone ASP could drop to $416 by 2025, so Apple would be making a smart move by launching an affordable 5G device to corner a bigger share of the 5G smartphone market.\nIt won't be surprising to see the idea of a 5G iPhone SE turn into reality, as J.P. Morgan isn't the first source to point out the potential existence of such a device. Noted Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo had pointed out earlier this year that the company's 2022 iPhone SE would be its most affordable smartphone. It would make sense for Apple to launch such a device considering that a budget-oriented 5G iPhone could help expand its wings in emerging markets as well.\nApple is expected to step on the gas in 2022\nJ.P. Morgan has raised its price target on Apple stock to $210 from $180, which implies a 23% upside from its closing price on Friday, Dec. 17. What's more, the investment bank has raised iPhone shipment expectations for Apple's fiscal 2022 to 250 million units, which would be a jump of 10 million units from the prior year. The projection includes potential shipments of 30 million units of the iPhone SE in fiscal year 2022.\nMore importantly, Apple seems to have shored up its supply chain after struggling to produce enough devices to meet end-market demand, because of coronavirus-related restrictions and component shortages last quarter. Goldman Sachs points out that Apple is now able to meet iPhone demand, which should help the company carry robust sales momentum into 2022.\nGiven the moves it's making to ensure that it remains a top player in the 5G smartphone era, Apple could sustain its recent stock-market momentum in the new year and turn out to be a top tech stock in 2022.","news_type":1},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":454,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":9000844534,"gmtCreate":1640131826550,"gmtModify":1676533502245,"author":{"id":"3580348895162828","authorId":"3580348895162828","name":"Yanishere","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/f30b5c3e40c28985c8e0298b0cc59028","crmLevel":2,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"3580348895162828","authorIdStr":"3580348895162828"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"Good","listText":"Good","text":"Good","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":3,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/9000844534","repostId":"1114412120","repostType":2,"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":625,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":9000825100,"gmtCreate":1640125598548,"gmtModify":1676533501510,"author":{"id":"3580348895162828","authorId":"3580348895162828","name":"Yanishere","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/f30b5c3e40c28985c8e0298b0cc59028","crmLevel":2,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"3580348895162828","authorIdStr":"3580348895162828"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"Wow","listText":"Wow","text":"Wow","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":1,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/9000825100","repostId":"1147636862","repostType":4,"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":181,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":9000817547,"gmtCreate":1640097946461,"gmtModify":1676533500769,"author":{"id":"3580348895162828","authorId":"3580348895162828","name":"Yanishere","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/f30b5c3e40c28985c8e0298b0cc59028","crmLevel":2,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"3580348895162828","authorIdStr":"3580348895162828"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"Ok","listText":"Ok","text":"Ok","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":3,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/9000817547","repostId":"1147636862","repostType":4,"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":110,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":9000183676,"gmtCreate":1640013083445,"gmtModify":1676533498321,"author":{"id":"3580348895162828","authorId":"3580348895162828","name":"Yanishere","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/f30b5c3e40c28985c8e0298b0cc59028","crmLevel":2,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"3580348895162828","authorIdStr":"3580348895162828"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"š¬","listText":"š¬","text":"š¬","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":1,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/9000183676","repostId":"1115322314","repostType":4,"repost":{"id":"1115322314","kind":"news","weMediaInfo":{"introduction":"Providing stock market headlines, business news, financials and earnings ","home_visible":1,"media_name":"Tiger Newspress","id":"1079075236","head_image":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/8274c5b9d4c2852bfb1c4d6ce16c68ba"},"pubTimestamp":1640011665,"share":"https://ttm.financial/m/news/1115322314?lang=&edition=fundamental","pubTime":"2021-12-20 22:47","market":"us","language":"en","title":"Mega-cap growth stocks extended their fall from the previous session","url":"https://stock-news.laohu8.com/highlight/detail?id=1115322314","media":"Tiger Newspress","summary":"Mega-cap growth stocks extended their fall from the previous session, withĀ Apple, Meta PlatformsĀ and","content":"
Mega-cap growth stocks extended their fall from the previous session, with Apple, Meta Platforms and Microsoft Corp down between 1% and 3%.
\n

","collect":0,"html":"\n
\n
\n<meta http-equiv=\"Content-Type\" content=\"text/html; At the same time, there are expectations that it should perform well when it releases earnings in March.

Letās jump right into the positive first, and then the negative. That said, my intuition is that the negatives right now should serve to weigh Nio down for the next few weeks and beyond its March 7 earnings date.

Anyway, onto the good news first.

Earnings Should Be Strong for NIO Stock

The positive news is that Nio should continue to perform well when it releases earnings on March 7.Early indicationsĀ are that Nio will report earnings per share figures somewhere in the neighborhood of $-0.14. That negative number might not seem particularly attractive, but remember, Nio reported $-1.05 EPS in the fourth quarter (Q4) of 2020.

There is reason to believe Nio should be strong otherwise. It should report roughly $5.63 billion in revenues in 2021. That number is anticipated to increase to $9.88 billion in 2022. But that is a longer term view than in the next few weeks and months. Tech stocks were already feeling pressure because of Decemberās inflation figures, whichĀ reached 7%. That, too, was a 40-year high.

That rising inflation triggered mass speculation that the U.S. Federal Reserve will raise interest rates to curb inflationās effects. Rising interest rates signal the end of easy money, which in turn causes investors to flee tech stocks.

That was clearly on display as tech stocks suffered heavy losses in January on the heels of the December inflation figures release. Given that Februaryās numbers are even worse, expect more of the same.

So, my thought is this: Nio will be weighed down by those worries as March begins. We wonāt have February numbers until after Nio releases earnings on March 7. Investors are going to be hesitant to push capital into Nio even if it does report strong numbers for fear that February inflation also surprises negatively.

And on top of that, Nio already had a problem with declining deliveries.

Deliveries Slipped in January

December was a strong month for Nio in terms of deliveries.

Consider that a $1,000 investment in e-commerce services provider Shopify made just five years ago would now be worth roughly $32,000.

With that kind of incredible performance in mind, a panel of Motley Fool contributors has identified three explosive growth stocks that stand out as great buys in the new year. Read on to see why they think that investing in these three companies will make you richer and happier in 2022 and beyond.

This large-cap travel leader still offers huge upside

Keith Noonan: Airbnb's (NASDAQ:ABNB) success thus far has been nothing short of incredible. Founded by three friends in 2008, the company has gone on to become a leading player in the travel and hospitality space, and it currently sports a market capitalization of roughly $106 billion. As impressive as the short-term rental specialist's performance has been, it looks like the company's growth is just getting started.

With more than 4 million hosts currently listing their properties through the platform, the rental service offers an incredible variety of potential accommodations to choose from. Even better, these rentals often provide levels of comfort, convenience, and local connection that the traditional hotel and rental industry simply can't hope to match.

When the pandemic crushed the travel industry in 2020, Airbnb reduced its headcount and significantly cut back on marketing expenses. The company has since started ramping up hiring again, but it's a leaner, more effective beast in some respects, and the travel specialist managed to post its best-ever sales performance in the third quarter. The company's net income also surged roughly 280% year over year to reach $834 million, reinforcing the notion that the travel industry is recovering and that Airbnb is poised to post huge profits over the long term.

Admittedly, the emergence of the omicron coronavirus variant late in 2021 took some of the bloom off the business' incredible third-quarter results, and the stock is now down about 24% from its high. Even with lingering pandemic-related challenges creating some added uncertainty, I think there's a good chance that the passage of time will come to make Airbnb's current valuation look very cheap.

At the confluence of data and real-time need

Jason Hall: Data analytics has historically been what happens to data after you get it. At the end of some period of time, an organization runs a batch report, pulling data out of a database and running it through an analysis, generating reports or otherwise gleaning whatever useful information it can.

The problem is this happens after the fact, often far too late for an organization to have acted on information it was in possession of, making it a missed opportunity. That's why Confluent (NASDAQ:CFLT) exists. The company was founded to help organizations make the most of Apache Kafka, the leading open-source distributed event streaming platform, so they can make use of data in real time.

Why partner with Confluent to manage an open-source platform? Its three co-founders are the creatorsĀ of Kafka, having developed it when they worked at LinkedIn to fill a real-world need no other product existed to address. They founded Confluent because few companies have the resources of expertise to go it alone, and their deep knowledge of Kafka, as its creators, was a powerful competitive advantage.

Confluent's IPO was in 2021, and management is putting the capital it raised to work. Over the past year, revenue is up 58%, but growth accelerated to 66% in the third quarter. Revenue for Confluent Cloud -- likely to be its biggest product in the future -- is up 175% over the past year, and surged 245% in the third quarter.

Just how big is the opportunity? With a $50 billion addressable market in 2021 expected to grow to $91 billion by 2025, Confluent's growth could be downright explosive from here.

The Trade Desk is riding a secular tailwind that's fueling growth

Parkev Tatevosian:Ā The Trade Desk (NASDAQ:TTD) facilitates global advertising by empowering the buyers of digital ad space. Over the years, the company has been explosively growing revenue and profits. From 2015 to 2020, revenue increased from $114 million to $836 million. Similarly, operating income increased from $38 million to $114 million during the same time. The growth has continued so far in 2021. In the nine months ended Sept. 30, The Trade Desk has increased revenue by 55% from the same period in 2020.

According to GroupM, global advertising spending will increase by 22.5% in 2021 and reach $763 billion. What's more, spending on digital ads is growing to take a larger share of the overall market. Indeed, from 2019 to 2021, digital's share of general ad spend increased from 52.1% to 64.4%.

This trend is unlikely to reverse as consumers are spending more time online. It's not like folks are going back to reading physical copies of newspapers or canceling streaming subscriptions in favor of linear TV. Internet-connected versions of content are significantly more convenient, and more people are gravitating to that format over time. The Trade Desk will continue to benefit from that trend, and considering its relatively small share of the overall advertising market, it has several years of potential growth ahead.

The stock is not cheap, trading at a price-to-free cash flow multiple of 148. However, given the incredible revenue growth, consistent profitability, and industry trends, the price is justified by operating performance. For those reasons, The Trade Desk is one explosive stock investors can buy for 2022.

","source":"fool_stock","collect":0,"html":"\n
\n
\n\n\n\n
3 Explosive Stocks to Buy in 2022
\n\n
\n
\n
\n
\n
\n3 Explosive Stocks to Buy in 2022\n
\n\n
\n\n\n2022-01-03 13:15 GMT+8 Motley Fool\n\n\n
\n\n
\n
\n
\n
Taking a buy-and-hold approach to the right growth stocks can be a path to life-changing returns. Morgan believes that Apple could be working on a 5G-enabled version of its entry-level iPhone SE device. Analyst Samik Chatterjee estimates that Apple could launch the 5G iPhone SE in early 2022 and give its massive installed base of users another reason to upgrade.
