The NVDA stock forecast for 2024 looks equally impressive.

Nvidia’s share price was up 41.55% through Feb. 7, making it the top-performing S&P 500 stock in 2024, 888 basis points ahead of Meta.

The chip maker continues to get a lot of love from analysts. It doesn’t hurt that the Semiconductor Industry Association predicts 13% sales growth for semiconductors in 2024, which absultely factors into any comprehensive NVDA stock forecast.

Other than valuation, there doesn’t appear to be anything that could deliver a body blow to Nvidia’s share price in the months ahead. What’s an investor to do? If you bought NVDA stock five years ago, you’re up 1,784%, more than 11x the index’s performance.

If you bought five years ago and are still holding, I’d advise you to do something—options, futures, etc.—to ensure you protect these unrealized gains.

Long-term, I’m a big fan of CEO Jensen Huang and the management team he’s assembled. But, as they say, “What goes up must come down, Spinning Wheel got to go round.”

Here’s what I might do and why I’d do it.

NVDA Stock Forecast: Big Corrections?

The first significant correction for Nvidia came between September 2018, when it hit a high of $73.19, and December 2018, when it hit a low of $31.11, a 57% correction over three months.

Its second big correction came in late 2021 after it had been on a nearly three-year run, moving from $31.11 in December 2018 to $346.47 in October 2021, a 1,014% gain. It fell to a low of $108.13 in October 2022, a 68% correction over 12 months. Since mid-October 2022, its shares have risen by 544% over 15 months.

With AI creating massive free cash flow, it’s not surprising that analysts like Bernstein Managing Director and Senior Analyst Stacy Rasgon believe Nvidia is one of the cheaper AI plays. The NVDA stock forecast calls for the company to generate $100 billion over the next two years, more than 3x what it generated in the preceeding two.

She points out that although semiconductor sales are expected to grow by 13% this year, not all semiconductor companies will benefit from this growth. Those most exposed to AI will see the greatest benefits.

“But one of the areas that I think should be growing a lot is AI. And they are clearly, like, the most exposed to that space. They’re one of the few that are actually making real money in that space,” Rasgon stated while appearing on Yahoo Finance on Feb. 5.

So, while significant corrections can even happen to the Nvidia’s of the world, nothing I can think of on the near-term horizon points to black clouds for the company.

Nvidia Has Other Revenue Generators Than Just AI

As the Bernstein analyst said in her Yahoo Finance appearance, things like PCs, networking, and data center server CPUs should all experience growth in 2024.

Nvidia’s Q3 2024 revenue was $18.12 billion. Of that, 80% was from its data center division, including its AI-accelerating chips. The company doesn’t break out the numbers for the various parts of data center revenue, AI, and non-AI.

On pg. 28 of its Q3 2024 10-Q, it said networking revenue was up 155% year-over-year and 52% sequentially. That’s something. However, it also noted that most of the increase was due to its InfiniBand infrastructure to support its HGX platform, which is AI-related.

I read an article earlier this year that estimated Nvidia’s external networking products generated 30% of data center revenue in the past year. If we use the same number for Q3 2024, the networking revenue would be approximately $4.35 billion [$14.51 billion x 30%], up 155% from $2.81 billion a year earlier [$4.35 billion / 155%].

So, if we annualize the $4.35 billion estimated networking revenue, we get $17.4 billion. Multiply that by a similar increase for 2025, and we get $27.0 billion. That’s 28.5% of the analysts’ 2025 revenue estimate of $94.41 billion.

The percentage seems a tad high, but it’s only meant to suggest there is revenue growth potential outside AI. The remaining non-AI growth should come from its Gaming business, which grew revenue by nearly 15% in the third quarter to $2.86 billion.

The Bottom Line

I do like Nvidia’s stock for a long-term hold of forever. However, we know that Nvidia’s stock has been prone to decent-sized corrections, so that’s always a possibility in the months ahead.

If you want to buy Nvidia stock, consider using options to reduce the capital required to gain a potential entry point. Perhaps in a future article, I’ll get into the specifics of what options to buy to get the job done.

","source":"investorplace_stock_picks","collect":0,"html":"\n
\n
\n\n\n\n
Can Nvidia Hit $1,000 in 2024? It helps that its bull runs have historically been much more robust than its bear corrections.AI continues to be the primary breadwinner in fiscal 2025, but it does have an excellent supporting cast. Source: Poetra.RH / Shutterstock.comNvidia (NASDAQ:NVDA) was the top-performing S&P 500 stock in 2023, up 239%, 45 percentage points higher than Meta Platforms (NASDAQ:META). The NVDA stock forecast for 2024 looks equally impressive.Nvidia’s share price was up 41.55% through Feb. But, as they say, “What goes up must come down, Spinning Wheel got to go round.” Here’s what I might do and why I’d do it. The NVDA stock forecast calls for the company to generate $100 billion over the next two years, more than 3x what it generated in the preceeding two.She points out that although semiconductor sales are expected to grow by 13% this year, not all semiconductor companies will benefit from this growth. 5.So, while significant corrections can even happen to the Nvidia’s of the world, nothing I can think of on the near-term horizon points to black clouds for the company. Nvidia Has Other Revenue Generators Than Just AIAs the Bernstein analyst said in her Yahoo Finance appearance, things like PCs, networking, and data center server CPUs should all experience growth in 2024. Nvidia’s Q3 2024 revenue was $18.12 billion. Of that, 80% was from its data center division, including its AI-accelerating chips. The company doesn’t break out the numbers for the various parts of data center revenue, AI, and non-AI.On pg. The Bottom LineI do like Nvidia’s stock for a long-term hold of forever. However, we know that Nvidia’s stock has been prone to decent-sized corrections, so that’s always a possibility in the months ahead. If you want to buy Nvidia stock, consider using options to reduce the capital required to gain a potential entry point. Perhaps in a future article, I’ll get into the specifics of what options to buy to get the job done.","news_type":1},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":180,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":269958912626928,"gmtCreate":1706916903456,"gmtModify":1706916908979,"author":{"id":"3581922804763831","authorId":"3581922804763831","name":"BabokSong","avatar":"https://community-static.tradeup.com/news/c3327c0ff892b3f4e674bcc63808be59","crmLevel":3,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"3581922804763831","authorIdStr":"3581922804763831"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"Looks Chinese tech firm is up 30% in the year’s first quarter.

The discussion around artificial intelligence (AI) has taken a dark turn. In recent days, a number of well-known technology leaders, including Tesla (NASDAQ: TSLA) CEO Elon Musk and Apple (NASDAQ: AAPL) co-founder Steve Wozniak, signed an open letter calling for a pause in the development of generative AI that they say poses high-level risks to humans and society. The strongly worded letter stated: “Contemporary AI systems are now becoming human-competitive at general tasks, and we must ask ourselves: Should we let machines flood our information channels with propaganda and untruth?”

The letter, which received considerable media coverage, came on the heels of a research report from investment bank Goldman Sachs that said generative AI could lead to the loss of 300 million jobs globally and replace 7% of the American workforce in the next decade. As the initial hype surrounding chatbots subsides, people are starting to ask hard questions about the implications of AI technology. What’s also becoming clear is that many of the AI stocks that have flourished in recent months have also been over-hyped and are unlikely to live up to the high expectations of investors. As the conversation around AI shifts into a new gear, we look at three of the most over-hyped AI stocks to sell in April.

AI Stocks to Sell: Meta Platforms (META)

Meta Platforms (NASDAQ: META) stock is closing out the year’s first quarter, having risen 68% over the last three months. The huge gains result from a few factors, including several austerity measures announced by the company. Investors also seem to like that Meta Platforms has pivoted away from its development of the metaverse. However, a good chunk of the price increase in META stock has also been because the company has been hyping its AI offerings. During the company’s most recent earnings call, Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg talked about AI almost exclusively and noted several journalists in attendance.

In a Facebook post from late February this year, Zuckerberg said that Meta is creating a new product group to help “turbocharge” the company’s AI tools. Specifically, Meta Platforms is looking to develop new AI features such as Instagram filters and new chat tools for its WhatsApp and Messenger platforms. The company also integrates AI into its online advertisements. However, these efforts look small compared to the chatbots launched by OpenAI and Alphabet (NASDAQ: GOOG, GOOGL). Also, Meta launched its own AI-powered chatbot last year called “BlenderBot 3,” but was forced to shelve it after it made mistakes and used offensive language.

With META stock having run up nearly 70% since January, investors must ask: How much further does the share price have to run?

C3.ai (AI)

Arguably the most over-hyped AI stock of recent months has been C3.ai (NYSE: AI). So far in 2023, AI stock is up an astounding 192%, making it one of the year’s top stocks. Yet, the run-up and hype surrounding C3.ai appear to be overdone, judging by the short interest in the stock. Since January, the amount of short interest in AI stock has risen more than 200%, indicating that traders are betting on the share price to go down A quarter (25%) of the company’s stock is now sold short, meaning professionals on Wall Street anticipate a sharp correction in the share price.

If this weren’t enough, online message boards like WallStreetBets are full of chatter about a short squeeze brewing for AI stock. If that happens, the shares could skyrocket. But the stock could also crash, hurting retail investors. Investors should be careful because of the growing short interest in C3.ai and its potential to be treated like a meme stock. The hype surrounding C3.ai is getting out of control, and bad things could happen. Also, C3.ai remains a comparatively small player in the AI space, with fewer than 1,000 employees and annual revenues of less than $200 million. If anything, the company has benefitted from its ticker symbol being, “AI.”

Baidu (BIDU)

To be sure, some of the wind has been taken out of Chinese tech giant Baidu’s (NASDAQ: BIDU) sails after the disastrous public unveiling of its much-hyped AI chatbot called “Ernie Bot.” However, China’s premier AI company continues to ride the global hype surrounding generative AI and large language learning models. Year-to-date, BIDU stock is up 30%. That gain can be attributed to expectations around the company’s AI offerings. While the Ernie Bot presentation caused Baidu’s share price to immediately fall 10%, it has largely recovered from that decline as investors remain hopeful about the company’s future AI offerings.

Baidu is doing its best to put the Ernie Bot debacle behind it, announcing that the chatbot will now be trialed by an initial group of users who are given special invitation codes and that a select group of companies will be invited to embed the chatbot into their products via Baidu’s cloud platform. The strongly worded letter stated: “Contemporary AI systems are now becoming human-competitive at general tasks, and we must ask ourselves: Should we let machines flood our information channels with propaganda and untruth?”The letter, which received considerable media coverage, came on the heels of a research report from investment bank Goldman Sachs that said generative AI could lead to the loss of 300 million jobs globally and replace 7% of the American workforce in the next decade. As the initial hype surrounding chatbots subsides, people are starting to ask hard questions about the implications of AI technology. What’s also becoming clear is that many of the AI stocks that have flourished in recent months have also been over-hyped and are unlikely to live up to the high expectations of investors. As the conversation around AI shifts into a new gear, we look at three of the most over-hyped AI stocks to sell in April.AI Stocks to Sell: Meta Platforms (META)Meta Platforms (NASDAQ: META) stock is closing out the year’s first quarter, having risen 68% over the last three months. With META stock having run up nearly 70% since January, investors must ask: How much further does the share price have to run?C3.ai (AI)Arguably the most over-hyped AI stock of recent months has been C3.ai (NYSE: AI). If anything, the company has benefitted from its ticker symbol being, “AI.”Baidu (BIDU)To be sure, some of the wind has been taken out of Chinese tech giant Baidu’s (NASDAQ: BIDU) sails after the disastrous public unveiling of its much-hyped AI chatbot called “Ernie Bot.” However, China’s premier AI company continues to ride the global hype surrounding generative AI and large language learning models. Year-to-date, BIDU stock is up 30%. That gain can be attributed to expectations around the company’s AI offerings. While the Ernie Bot presentation caused Baidu’s share price to immediately fall 10%, it has largely recovered from that decline as investors remain hopeful about the company’s future AI offerings.Baidu is doing its best to put the Ernie Bot debacle behind it, announcing that the chatbot will now be trialed by an initial group of users who are given special invitation codes and that a select group of companies will be invited to embed the chatbot into their products via Baidu’s cloud platform. However, it remains to be seen precisely how Baidu’s Ernie Bot will perform once fully operational and what it will be used for by people and organizations. So far, all the company has provided is a pre-recorded video of Ernie Bot answering some math questions and producing a rudimentary drawing. The hype certainly doesn’t seem justified, making it one of the top AI stocks to sell.","news_type":1},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":227,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":9943298149,"gmtCreate":1679461058381,"gmtModify":1679461220221,"author":{"id":"3581922804763831","authorId":"3581922804763831","name":"BabokSong","avatar":"https://community-static.tradeup.com/news/c3327c0ff892b3f4e674bcc63808be59","crmLevel":3,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"3581922804763831","authorIdStr":"3581922804763831"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"War is good business","listText":"War is good business","text":"War is good business","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":4,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/9943298149","repostId":"2321860620","repostType":2,"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":342,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":9943346951,"gmtCreate":1679192263073,"gmtModify":1679192266323,"author":{"id":"3581922804763831","authorId":"3581922804763831","name":"BabokSong","avatar":"https://community-static.tradeup.com/news/c3327c0ff892b3f4e674bcc63808be59","crmLevel":3,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"3581922804763831","authorIdStr":"3581922804763831"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"👍👍","listText":"👍👍","text":"👍👍","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":0,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/9943346951","repostId":"9943322767","repostType":1,"repost":{"id":9943322767,"gmtCreate":1679162613060,"gmtModify":1679187529559,"author":{"id":"4102123614530830","authorId":"4102123614530830","name":"nerdbull1669","avatar":"https://community-static.tradeup.com/news/8ac2db9ff7976dac4aa567ce14027bd6","crmLevel":2,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"4102123614530830","authorIdStr":"4102123614530830"},"themes":[],"title":"Watch Crypto When Bitcoin is Up and Market is Volatile","htmlText":"I have been observing the movement of Bitcoin Price over the last 2 trading days, and some of the crypto stocks. Companies involved in artificial intelligence are at the forefront of a rapidly growing industry. Indeed, these companies are revolutionizing many sectors, including healthcare, finance, transportation, and manufacturing.

Notably, since OpenAI introduced ChatGPT in late 2022, investors have taken on a renewed interest.

AI is one of the fastest-growing industries, and the demand for AI products and services is expected to increase significantly in the coming years. AI has the potential to disrupt traditional industries and create new markets and opportunities for businesses that adopt it early. Additionally, AI stockscan help diversify an investor’s portfolio, reducing their overall risk exposure. Thus, there’s plenty of potential reasons to invest in the sector.

Here are three of the best options in this space right now, in my view.

Microsoft (MSFT)

Microsoft (NASDAQ: MSFT) has invested heavily in research and development when it comes to artificial intelligence. The company’s cloud computing platform, Azure, offers a range of AI and machine learning tools, including cognitive services, Bot Service, and Azure Machine Learning. The early integration of AI technology across the company makes Microsoft a top player in the AI industry.

However, Microsoft has recently garnered plenty of headlines as the company added ChatGPT to its Bing search engine. Microsoft hopes that ChatGPT will bring new relevance to its search engine, weakening Google’s (NASDAQ: GOOG) dominance over search.

OpenAI, the company behind ChatGPT, is backed by Microsoft, who has poured billions into the project. Microsoft is hopeful that ChatGPT will be able to provide recent, relevant information when paired with Bing. ChatGPT alone is limited in that it allows for dated answers to prompts.

But there have also been strange reports about the search engine, including a bizarre conversation between Bing and a New York Times columnist. This technology is still in its beta form, but there’s plenty of potential – that much is clear.

Intuitive Surgical (ISRG)

Intuitive Surgical (NASDAQ: ISRG) is a medical technology company that has pioneered the development of robotic-assisted surgical systems. The da Vinci Surgical System uses AI algorithms to enhance surgical precision, accuracy, and safety. The system has been widely adopted by hospitals and surgical centers worldwide. That strong position suggests that as AI technology advances, Intuitive Surgical is well-positioned to maintain its leadership.

Intuitive Surgical is at the intersection of several big questions. Can its products, combined with advancing AI technology, improve the delivery and quality of care? Will AI lead to better patient outcomes?

Current evidence seems to suggest that the answer could be yes. The machine learning and AI in Intuitive Surgical’s products improve outcomes across various procedures. For example, robotic surgery to repair damaged bowel tissue between 2010 and 2019 resulted in lower mortality, reoperations, bleeding, and readmission rates than traditional surgery.

Raytheon (RTX)

Raytheon (NYSE: RTX) is a well-known defense company investing in artificial intelligence and machine learning with a well-developed platform. One of its subsidiaries, Raytheon Intelligence & Space, offers a range of AI-powered solutions for defense and intelligence applications. It will face stiff competition among leading defense firms focused on automated target recognition, predictive maintenance, and autonomous systems. That said, I think Raytheon could come out ahead in this race.

Raytheon’s AI and machine learning programs span cybersecurity, space, weather, national security, and intelligence sectors. These programs assist in crunching data that informs action plans for key decision makers.

Additionally, Raytheon has been developing programs to leverage AI when human reaction speed is limited. For example, Raytheon has been developing systems that can identify and respond to surprise attacks on ships that would leave humans too little time to react.

Raytheon has also funded multiple partnerships with universities to develop AI and machine learning capabilities, among other efforts. Raytheon, like all significant defense companies, has been heavily involved with AI and machine learning efforts for a long time. Expect these defense firms, with their substantial budgets, to continue to be able to attract the best and the brightest talent in the industry. The military will continue to push the limits of technology to benefit national security, and AI will be no exception.

","source":"investorplace","collect":0,"html":"\n
\n
\n\n\n\n
What Is the Best AI Stock to Buy Now? Companies involved in artificial intelligence are at the forefront of a rapidly growing industry. Indeed, these companies are revolutionizing many sectors, including healthcare, finance, transportation, and manufacturing.Notably, since OpenAI introduced ChatGPT in late 2022, investors have taken on a renewed interest.AI is one of the fastest-growing industries, and the demand for AI products and services is expected to increase significantly in the coming years. AI has the potential to disrupt traditional industries and create new markets and opportunities for businesses that adopt it early. Additionally, AI stockscan help diversify an investor’s portfolio, reducing their overall risk exposure. Thus, there’s plenty of potential reasons to invest in the sector. Here are three of the best options in this space right now, in my view.Microsoft (MSFT)Microsoft (NASDAQ: MSFT) has invested heavily in research and development when it comes to artificial intelligence. Microsoft hopes that ChatGPT will bring new relevance to its search engine, weakening Google’s (NASDAQ: GOOG) dominance over search.OpenAI, the company behind ChatGPT, is backed by Microsoft, who has poured billions into the project. This technology is still in its beta form, but there’s plenty of potential – that much is clear.Intuitive Surgical (ISRG)Intuitive Surgical (NASDAQ: ISRG) is a medical technology company that has pioneered the development of robotic-assisted surgical systems. The da Vinci Surgical System uses AI algorithms to enhance surgical precision, accuracy, and safety. The system has been widely adopted by hospitals and surgical centers worldwide. That strong position suggests that as AI technology advances, Intuitive Surgical is well-positioned to maintain its leadership.Intuitive Surgical is at the intersection of several big questions. Can its products, combined with advancing AI technology, improve the delivery and quality of care? Will AI lead to better patient outcomes?Current evidence seems to suggest that the answer could be yes. The machine learning and AI in Intuitive Surgical’s products improve outcomes across various procedures. For example, robotic surgery to repair damaged bowel tissue between 2010 and 2019 resulted in lower mortality, reoperations, bleeding, and readmission rates than traditional surgery.Raytheon (RTX)Raytheon (NYSE: RTX) is a well-known defense company investing in artificial intelligence and machine learning with a well-developed platform. One of its subsidiaries, Raytheon Intelligence & Space, offers a range of AI-powered solutions for defense and intelligence applications. It will face stiff competition among leading defense firms focused on automated target recognition, predictive maintenance, and autonomous systems. That said, I think Raytheon could come out ahead in this race.Raytheon’s AI and machine learning programs span cybersecurity, space, weather, national security, and intelligence sectors. These programs assist in crunching data that informs action plans for key decision makers.Additionally, Raytheon has been developing programs to leverage AI when human reaction speed is limited. For example, Raytheon has been developing systems that can identify and respond to surprise attacks on ships that would leave humans too little time to react.Raytheon has also funded multiple partnerships with universities to develop AI and machine learning capabilities, among other efforts. Raytheon, like all significant defense companies, has been heavily involved with AI and machine learning efforts for a long time. Expect these defense firms, with their substantial budgets, to continue to be able to attract the best and the brightest talent in the industry. The military will continue to push the limits of technology to benefit national security, and AI will be no exception.","news_type":1},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":138,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":9954979705,"gmtCreate":1675958406007,"gmtModify":1675958409562,"author":{"id":"3581922804763831","authorId":"3581922804763831","name":"BabokSong","avatar":"https://community-static.tradeup.com/news/c3327c0ff892b3f4e674bcc63808be59","crmLevel":3,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"3581922804763831","authorIdStr":"3581922804763831"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"And so many platform go bust.","listText":"And so many platform go bust.","text":"And so many platform go bust.","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":3,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/9954979705","repostId":"1122693543","repostType":2,"repost":{"id":"1122693543","pubTimestamp":1675956364,"share":"https://ttm.financial/m/news/1122693543?lang=&edition=fundamental","pubTime":"2023-02-09 23:26","market":"other","language":"en","title":"Crypto Recovery 2023: 3 Cryptocurrencies Worth Buying Now","url":"https://stock-news.laohu8.com/highlight/detail?id=1122693543","media":"InvestorPlace","summary":"Investing in these three cryptos could help you make the most of their projected rise by 2023.Bitcoi","content":"

Investing in these three cryptos could help you make the most of their projected rise by 2023.

Bitcoin(BTC-USD): This crypto has been performing well, reaching a multi-month high

Ethereum(ETH-USD): Over the past two weeks, Ethereum has seen a growth of over 30%.

Solana(SOL-USD): Has the potential for long-term growth due to its association with NFTs and increasing involvement in the gaming industry.

It’s been quite a year since it came to the cryptocurrency space. Chinese tech firm is up 30% in the year’s first quarter.

However, it remains to be seen precisely how Baidu’s Ernie Bot will perform once fully operational and what it will be used for by people and organizations. So far, all the company has provided is a pre-recorded video of Ernie Bot answering some math questions and producing a rudimentary drawing. The hype certainly doesn’t seem justified, making it one of the top AI stocks to sell.

","source":"investorplace","collect":0,"html":"\n
\n
\n\n\n\n
The 3 Most Over-Hyped AI Stocks to Sell in April
\n\n
\n
\n
\n
\n
\nThe 3 Most Over-Hyped AI Stocks to Sell in April\n
\n\n
\n\n\n2023-04-04 23:26 GMT+8 InvestorPlace\n\n\n
\n\n
\n
\n
\n
Here are three of the most over-hyped AI stocks to sell in April.Meta Platforms (META): The company’s AI offerings look small compared to its competitors.C3.ai (AI): The stock is up nearly 200% YTD ...
\n\nWeb Link\n\n
\n\n\n
\n
\n
\n
\n","type":0,"thumbnail":"","relate_stocks":{"META":"Meta Platforms, Inc.","BIDU":"百度","AI":"C3.ai, Inc."},"source_url":"https://investorplace.com/2023/04/the-3-most-over-hyped-ai-stocks-to-sell-in-april/","is_english":true,"share_image_url":"https://static.laohu8.com/e9f99090a1c2ed51c021029395664489","article_id":"2324205188","content_text":"Here are three of the most over-hyped AI stocks to sell in April.Meta Platforms (META): The company’s AI offerings look small compared to its competitors.C3.ai (AI): The stock is up nearly 200% YTD and now 25% of the shares have been sold short by professional traders.Baidu (BIDU): Despite not producing a real chatbot, the stock of this Chinese tech firm is up 30% in the year’s first quarter. The discussion around artificial intelligence (AI) has taken a dark turn. Investors should consider preparing their portfolios for different scenarios, differentiating their holdings across segments that could maximize their returns against downside and upside factors.2022 will go down in history as one of the worst years for stocks in the last few decades; what will 2023 bring to the markets?Price history of the S&P 500 (SPX) IndexWhich Scenario Looks Right to You?It’s impossible to forecast the near-term path of the markets, but we can try and distinguish trends and upside and downside risks to these trends:Base Case: a mild recession in the first half of 2023, which brings down inflation, letting the Fed ease in the second half; the S&P 500 (SPX) rallies 10%-20%.Bear Case: the Fed over-tightens, sending the economy into a “hard landing,” sending stocks down for the year.Bull Case: the Fed succeeds in bringing down inflation without causing a recession, and stocks rally as they did in 2021.It would be reasonable to work according to the base-case outlook while hedging against different scenarios that might affect some stocks more than others.Base Case: Mild Recession Followed by an UpturnIn the base-case scenario, it would be a no-brainer to buy tech stocks. The decades-long trend of technology entering every layer of human life will continue, and tech stocks will likely shine again.According to Morningstar (NASDAQ: MORN) analysts, large-cap growth stocks are now one of the cheapest segments in the market, having suffered some of the biggest declines. Shares of Meta (NASDAQ: META), Alphabet (NASDAQ: GOOG), Nvidia (NASDAQ: NVDA), Amazon (NASDAQ: AMZN), Microsoft (NASDAQ: MSFT), and Apple (NASDAQ: AAPL) have suffered staggering losses in 2022 and look strongly undervalued. There’s no doubt that many of the Big Tech companies will see their stock performances improve as the economy mends and sentiment picks up, making their current prices look like decent entry points.Make sure to look beyond the price at the fundamentals, though. After the crazy rally and its bust, investors will be much more skeptical of bombastic growth promises that aren’t underpinned by solid numbers. When optimism returns, it will be much more realistic, at least for a while. So, it’d be a good idea to choose stocks of companies with robust earnings, ample cash, and strong growth prospects. In addition, have a look at another dirt-cheap equity segment: small caps. These stocks suffer in downturns but tend to outperform when the economy improves. Small-cap P/E ratios have reached their lowest levels in two decades, and the recession looks already priced into their valuations. To take advantage of this, you might want to have a look at the shares of Sarepta Therapeutics (NASDAQ: SRPT), Shockwave Medical (NASDAQ: SWAV), Lattice Semiconductor (NASDAQ: LSCC), Pure Storage (NYSE: PSTG), Tetra Tech (NASDAQ: TTEK), or WillScot Mobile Mini Holdings (NASDAQ: WSC), as they look promising.Bear Case: Bad Recession or High Rates for LongerIf you believe that 2023 may turn out to be another “risk-off” year but still want to remain invested, consider picking stocks of companies that don’t depend on cheap funding and are supported by ample cash, strong business models, and dominance in their markets. Dividend-paying companies are preferred; value stocks will likely outperform in this setting. Pay attention to the industries: discretionary products and services take a much bigger hit in recessions than those supplying the necessities. For example, Kraft Heinz (NASDAQ: KHC) is a leader in the packaged food market. It has substantial pricing power and pays stable dividends, which could help hedge against an economic downturn. Occidental Petroleum (NYSE: OXY) has been a great inflation hedge, trading ata P/E ratio of 5.2. Target (NYSE: TGT) is a dividend king with a strong market cap and solid profitability. Another high-dividend stock is Danaher (NYSE: DHR), a stable, diversified conglomerate. Johnson & Johnson (NYSE: JNJ) has plenty of cash, a high dividend yield, and vast market share. Top this list with Berkshire Hathaway (NYSE: BRK.B), the best-run financial conglomerate in the U.S., and you should be well-equipped for a recession.Bull Case: No Recession, Markets RallyIf you believe the U.S. economy will avoid a recession, you’d think that one should just buy everything at these prices, right? Well, no: it will take time for another broad “buy-all” rally to emerge; investors will be very selective for a while, putting money only on those companies that have established business models and resilient financials.Go with the “base-case” portfolio, adding to it some stocks from sectors that benefit from higher growth, basing your choice on reasonable stock pricing and good fundamentals. Considering adding tech anddiscretionary stocksto the portfolio, such as Sally Beauty (NYSE: SBH), trading at a P/E ratio of 7.5, Century Communities (NYSE: CCS) at 2.8, Green Brick Partners (NYSE: GRBK) at 3.99, Western Digital (NASDAQ: WDC) at 10.5, Stride (NYSE: LRN) at 15.0, Applied Materials (NASDAQ: AMAT) at 12.8, and ON Semiconductor (NASDAQ: ON) at 16.2.The Takeaway: Just Hold OnWhatever happens in 2023, remember: every bear market has ended with a new bull market. Hedge your portfolio to ride out the turbulence, and don’t lose calm.","news_type":1},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":29,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":9921135032,"gmtCreate":1670991993427,"gmtModify":1676538472759,"author":{"id":"3581922804763831","authorId":"3581922804763831","name":"BabokSong","avatar":"https://community-static.tradeup.com/news/c3327c0ff892b3f4e674bcc63808be59","crmLevel":3,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"3581922804763831","authorIdStr":"3581922804763831"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"I expect 0.75","listText":"I expect 0.75","text":"I expect 0.75","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":6,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/9921135032","repostId":"1139883493","repostType":2,"repost":{"id":"1139883493","pubTimestamp":1670980450,"share":"https://ttm.financial/m/news/1139883493?lang=&edition=fundamental","pubTime":"2022-12-14 09:14","market":"us","language":"en","title":"Fed to Downshift to Half-Point Hike But Point to Higher Peak","url":"https://stock-news.laohu8.com/highlight/detail?id=1139883493","media":"Bloomberg","summary":"Fed officials are expected to raise rates by 50 basis pointsFresh projections could shed light on ho","content":"

Fed officials are expected to raise rates by 50 basis points

Fresh projections could shed light on how high rates may go

The Federal Reserve is poised to moderate its aggressive tightening on Wednesday while signaling that interest rates will ultimately go higher than previously forecast.

The tricky part for Chair Jerome Powell will be convincing investors that this isn’t a dovish pivot and that officials won’t prematurely end their assault against inflation that’s running three times higher than their 2% goal.

The Federal Open Market Committee is widely expected to raise rates by 50 basis points and bring its benchmark target rate to a range of 4.25% to 4.5%, the highest since 2007. But Powell could use his press conference to remind the public that officials are not going to let up until inflation is clearly on a path back down to 2%.

“All eyes will be on the dot plot and the conference and what Fed Chair Powell will be telling us in terms of the path for interest rates going forward,” said Lydia Boussour, senior economist for EY Parthenon, referring to the quarterly projections for rates displayed as a chart of anonymous dots though 2025 and in the longer run.

Future Rate Path

At their September meeting, Fed officials saw rates reaching 4.6% by the end of next year. But policymakers say those expectations have since moved up following economic data showing that while inflation is easing, it remains stubbornly high.

Officials also say the labor market is still out of balance, with demand for workers exceeding labor supply and wage growth not letting up.

The projections will offer insight on policymakers’ latest views for where they expect rates to go. But the Fed chief is unlikely to commit to a specific path, preferring to keep his options open, said Michael Pugliese, an economist at Wells Fargo & Co.

“I think they’ll preserve flexibility,” he said.

Conditions for Pause

The rate projections could offer clues on how soon officials expect to pause the rate increases. For example, a more modest increase in the terminal rate may suggest that officials could stop hiking rates as soon as March, while a higher peak may suggest that rate increases could continue further into next year, said Tim Duy, chief U.S. economist for SGH Macro Advisors.

But he said it will also be important to hear from Powell about how officials will know that it’s time to pause the rate increases or if they should keep hiking.

“They’ve been edging closer to something that they think is a terminal rate and that appears to be something near 5%,” said Duy. “What conditions would sort of reinforce that?”

‘Ongoing’ Increases?

One key phrase to watch for in the FOMC statement is whether officials continue to say that “ongoing increases in the target range will be appropriate” to bring rates to a level that is sufficiently restrictive to reduce inflation.

Removing the word “ongoing” could send a dovish signal and suggest that the Fed is likely to pause rate increases in March, sooner than expected, according to Roberto Perli and Benson Durham of Piper Sandler & Co.

However, Fed officials could also decide to keep the “ongoing increases” wording in the statement for the remainder of the hiking cycle to avoid sending a signal that could ease financial conditions, said Derek Tang, an economist with LH Meyer.

“There’s little cost to them to keep ‘ongoing increases’ in there until the first meeting with no hike,” Tang wrote in an email note.

Economic Pain

The projections will also reveal what officials expect to see from the US economy in terms of growth, the unemployment rate and inflation. Forecasts showing that officials now expect it to take longer for inflation to come down to their target could help to justify their higher interest-rate projections, said James Knightley, chief international economist for ING.

Policymakers could downgrade their outlook for next year, projecting lower economic growth that is closer to zero and a higher unemployment rate that is approaching 5%, up from the current rate of 3.7%, said EY Parthenon’s Boussour.

“I think there will be that idea coming out of the new projections that the Fed is ready to tolerate some more economic pain in order to restore price stability,” she said.

Soft Landing Odds

Even if officials present a base case that avoids a recession, the direction of where those indicators are headed can offer insight on how officials view recession risks, said Pugliese.

Powell could use the press conference to tell the public that officials believe there is still a path, albeit a narrower one, for a achieving a soft landing, where they succeed in bringing inflation down while minimizing the pain for households, said Knightley.

“I think the Fed will be saying, ‘well recession is a possibility, but it’s not our base case,’” he said.

","source":"lsy1584095487587","collect":0,"html":"\n
\n
\n<meta http-equiv=\"Content-Type\" content=\"text/html; But Powell could use his press conference to remind the public that officials are not going to let up until inflation is clearly on a path back down to 2%.“All eyes will be on the dot plot and the conference and what Fed Chair Powell will be telling us in terms of the path for interest rates going forward,” said Lydia Boussour, senior economist for EY Parthenon, referring to the quarterly projections for rates displayed as a chart of anonymous dots though 2025 and in the longer run.Future Rate PathAt their September meeting, Fed officials saw rates reaching 4.6% by the end of next year. But policymakers say those expectations have since moved up following economic data showing that while inflation is easing, it remains stubbornly high.Officials also say the labor market is still out of balance, with demand for workers exceeding labor supply and wage growth not letting up.The projections will offer insight on policymakers’ latest views for where they expect rates to go. But the Fed chief is unlikely to commit to a specific path, preferring to keep his options open, said Michael Pugliese, an economist at Wells Fargo & Co.“I think they’ll preserve flexibility,” he said.Conditions for PauseThe rate projections could offer clues on how soon officials expect to pause the rate increases. For example, a more modest increase in the terminal rate may suggest that officials could stop hiking rates as soon as March, while a higher peak may suggest that rate increases could continue further into next year, said Tim Duy, chief U.S. economist for SGH Macro Advisors. But he said it will also be important to hear from Powell about how officials will know that it’s time to pause the rate increases or if they should keep hiking.“They’ve been edging closer to something that they think is a terminal rate and that appears to be something near 5%,” said Duy. “What conditions would sort of reinforce that?”‘Ongoing’ Increases? One key phrase to watch for in the FOMC statement is whether officials continue to say that “ongoing increases in the target range will be appropriate” to bring rates to a level that is sufficiently restrictive to reduce inflation.Removing the word “ongoing” could send a dovish signal and suggest that the Fed is likely to pause rate increases in March, sooner than expected, according to Roberto Perli and Benson Durham of Piper Sandler & Co.However, Fed officials could also decide to keep the “ongoing increases” wording in the statement for the remainder of the hiking cycle to avoid sending a signal that could ease financial conditions, said Derek Tang, an economist with LH Meyer.“There’s little cost to them to keep ‘ongoing increases’ in there until the first meeting with no hike,” Tang wrote in an email note.Economic PainThe projections will also reveal what officials expect to see from the US economy in terms of growth, the unemployment rate and inflation. Forecasts showing that officials now expect it to take longer for inflation to come down to their target could help to justify their higher interest-rate projections, said James Knightley, chief international economist for ING.Policymakers could downgrade their outlook for next year, projecting lower economic growth that is closer to zero and a higher unemployment rate that is approaching 5%, up from the current rate of 3.7%, said EY Parthenon’s Boussour.“I think there will be that idea coming out of the new projections that the Fed is ready to tolerate some more economic pain in order to restore price stability,” she said.Soft Landing OddsEven if officials present a base case that avoids a recession, the direction of where those indicators are headed can offer insight on how officials view recession risks, said Pugliese.Powell could use the press conference to tell the public that officials believe there is still a path, albeit a narrower one, for a achieving a soft landing, where they succeed in bringing inflation down while minimizing the pain for households, said Knightley.“I think the Fed will be saying, ‘well recession is a possibility, but it’s not our base case,’” he said.","news_type":1},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":36,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":269958912626928,"gmtCreate":1706916903456,"gmtModify":1706916908979,"author":{"id":"3581922804763831","authorId":"3581922804763831","name":"BabokSong","avatar":"https://community-static.tradeup.com/news/c3327c0ff892b3f4e674bcc63808be59","crmLevel":3,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"3581922804763831","authorIdStr":"3581922804763831"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"Looks like bubble forming ","listText":"Looks like bubble forming ","text":"Looks like bubble forming","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":5,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/269958912626928","repostId":"1171052856","repostType":2,"repost":{"id":"1171052856","weMediaInfo":{"introduction":"Providing stock market headlines, business news, financials and earnings ","home_visible":1,"media_name":"Tiger Newspress","id":"1079075236","head_image":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/8274c5b9d4c2852bfb1c4d6ce16c68ba"},"pubTimestamp":1706916127,"share":"https://ttm.financial/m/news/1171052856?lang=&edition=fundamental","pubTime":"2024-02-03 07:22","market":"us","language":"en","title":"Post-Bell|S&P 500 Surges to Record Closing High; Meta Soars 20% Adding $196 Billion in Stock Market Value","url":"https://stock-news.laohu8.com/highlight/detail?id=1171052856","media":"Tiger Newspress","summary":"U.S. stocks ended sharply higher on Friday and the S&P 500 registered an all-time closing high as strong earnings and a blowout January employment report boosted confidence in the economy, even while ","content":"

U.S. stocks ended sharply higher on Friday and the S&P 500 registered an all-time closing high as strong earnings and a blowout January employment report boosted confidence in the economy, even while lowering the likelihood that the Federal Reserve will cut interest rates any time soon.

Market Snapshot

The S&P 500 climbed 1.07% to end the session at 4,958.61 points. If you employ some planning and financial discipline, it is possible. No matter your age, there's no better time than today to begin saving and building up your investment accounts for that long-term goal.

To retire early, you'll need to consistently add to your investments in a diverse mix of stocks. Dividend stocks are a good source of passive income that will help support you in retirement. And three that you should consider buying today are ExxonMobil, Chevron, and Lockheed Martin.

1. ExxonMobil

ExxonMobil operates in the oil and natural gas business, and has an impressive record of raising its dividend annually for 40 consecutive years. It accomplished that feat thanks to its balanced business model, which gives it stability no matter what energy prices do.

Its upstream exploration and production business benefits directly from higher crude oil prices. Last year, that part of the company earned $36.5 billion, a 131% increase from the prior year, thanks to higher oil and natural gas prices. But the upstream business depends on market conditions. If this were ExxonMobil's only source of revenue, it never would've achieved its impressive dividend streak.

That's where its downstream business -- refining oil and operating petrochemical plants -- comes in. Those businesses benefit from lower oil prices because that gives them lower input costs. This downstream business provides a steady source of cash flow that provides stability amid swinging oil and natural gas prices.

In 2022, ExxonMobil raked in profits of $55.7 billion while its free cash flow -- cash it can use to pay down debt, reward shareholders, or reinvest in the business -- was $62.1 billion. It's used that cash flow in part to reduce its debt burden -- which peaked in 2020 at $66 billion -- by 32% last year. It also returned more than $30 billion to shareholders through dividends and stock repurchases.

It also plans to invest $17 billion over the next five years into lowering carbon emissions. Almost 40% of these funds will go toward helping other companies to build lower-emissions businesses via the use of carbon capture and storage, biofuels, and hydrogen. It recently inked a deal with hydrogen and nitrogen products giant CF Industries to capture and store 2 million metric tons of carbon dioxide per year from that company's manufacturing complex in Louisiana. This is just one deal of many in a carbon capture and storage market that is expected to grow to $4 trillion by 2050.

ExxonMobil has a balanced business model and a long history of dividend growth, and its 3.65% yield makes it a solid dividend stock worth buying now.

2. Chevron

Chevron shares many similarities with ExxonMobil, including a balanced business model that includes upstream and downstream operations. Chevron also has an impressive dividend-hiking streak -- 37 consecutive years.

Last year the oil and natural gas company raked in $35.5 billion in net income, an increase of 127% driven by strong growth in its upstream operations. It used these funds to raise its dividend by 6%, paying out $11 billion in dividends. It also returned another $11.25 billion to shareholders through stock repurchases.

Chevron is capitalizing on lower-carbon energy, too, by increasing its renewable fuel production capacity. Last year, it acquired Renewable Energy Group for $3.15 billion, making it the second-largest biofuel and renewable fuels producer in the U.S. It has also formed a joint venture with Bunge, investing $600 million to develop feedstock to produce renewable fuels, aiming to double their combined capacity by 2024.

Chevron sports a solid 3.96% dividend yield, making it another attractive investment for your early retirement portfolio.

3. Lockheed Martin

Lockheed Martin is the world's largest defense contractor by sales, with 73% of its net sales coming from U.S. government contracts.

Because defense spending isn't optional for national governments, Lockheed Martin has a reliable earnings base locked in through long-term contracts. Its stable earnings base is one reason it has been able to increase its dividend payouts annually for 20 consecutive years. Not only that, but the U.S. spends more on defense by far than any other country, and recently passed a budget allocating $858 billion to defense for 2023.

Lockheed Martin has solid long-term prospects. For one, the Department of Defense will acquire 2,500 of its F-35 aircraft for $400 billion and spend another $1.27 trillion operating and sustaining them over the fighter's 66-year life cycle. Additionally, its High Mobility Artillery Rocket System (HIMARS) was arguably its most popular defense product in the past year. With the war between Ukraine and Russian ongoing, countries including Australia, Estonia, Lithuania, Netherlands, and Poland have purchased HIMARS systems, producing over $12 billion in revenue for Lockheed Martin.

Lockheed Martin is a top defense contractor, and the geopolitical tensions across the globe, along with its 2.58% dividend yield, make it an appealing dividend stock to add to your diversified portfolio today.

","source":"fool_stock","collect":0,"html":"\n
\n
\n\n\n\n
Early Retirement Portfolio: 3 Dividend Stocks to Buy With No Hesitation
\n\n
\n
\n
\n
\n
\nEarly Retirement Portfolio: 3 Dividend Stocks to Buy With No Hesitation\n
\n\n
\n\n\n2023-03-22 09:00 GMT+8 Motley Fool\n\n\n
\n\n
\n
\n
\n
Do you have dreams of retiring early? A rather broad-based crypto recovery has been seen, with the overallmarket capitalization of the entire crypto sector continuing to hold the $1 trillion level (at least, at the time of writing).

Higher-risk assets are seeing a much more impressive recovery this year for several reasons. First, the Federal Reserve has done its job in bringing inflation down. This could mean that rate hikes are set to slow, and a more accommodative monetary policy could result in rising valuations.

Second, the extent to which cryptos and other higher-risk equities got hit in 2022 paves the way for a more impressive resurgence. If we are on the verge of another bull market, higher-risk assets should be the first place investors look.

In the crypto industry, I think these three tokens are worth a look at first.

Bitcoin (BTC-USD)

Every investor should consider including Bitcoin(BTC-USD), the leading cryptocurrency by market size, in their portfolio. Despite the skepticism of some investors, buying Bitcoin during its lows offers a compelling investment opportunity.

Recently, Bitcoin has been on an upward trend, surging past the $20,000 level for the first time in two months, breaking its medium-term downside trend. At the time of writing, Bitcoin is just below the $23,000 level, poised for a continued breakout if this momentum continues.

The reason why many investors choose Bitcoin is its historical track record. The overall performance of Bitcoin since inception beats any other asset class out there. Accordingly, while critics cite high energy usage and other downsides of proof-of-work validation, this is a crypto I think makes the most sense as a starter investment for those just starting to consider cryptocurrencies right now.

Ethereum (ETH-USD)

Ethereum(ETH-USD) is a crucial player in cryptocurrency, serving as the foundation for most decentralized applications. Indeed, the fact that Ethereum’s network was the first prominent player to incorporate smart contacts has allowed this crypto to outperform its peers.

Many prominent investors believe that a potential “flippening” could happen soon, in which Ethereum takes over the top spot in terms of market capitalization from Bitcoin. It’s certainly possible, and I think Ethereum maxis have a good reason for this argument.

Simply put, most of the functional crypto projects that create utility out there are based on Ethereum or tied to Ethereum in some way.

Ethereum has experienced a tremendous rise in value, growing by over 27,000% from roughly $11 to over $3,000 between April 2016 and March 2022. Despite this, Ethereum’s price dropped to a one-year low of $1,091 on 9 November 2022 due to a market-wide downturn. However, by 10 January 2023, it had rebounded to around $1,400 and currently trades slightly above $1,600.

Solana (SOL-USD)

Another project explicitly designed for decentralized finance is Solana(SOL-USD). This network is considered a main competitor to Ethereum, recognized for its fast performance and ability to handle many transactions.

Presently, it’s estimated that Solana holds a market share of approximately 1.1% in the NFT sector. This is remarkable, given its market share was only 0.01% at the beginning of 2021. A rather broad-based crypto recovery has been seen, with the overallmarket capitalization of the entire crypto sector continuing to hold the $1 trillion level (at least, at the time of writing).Higher-risk assets are seeing a much more impressive recovery this year for several reasons. First, the Federal Reserve has done its job in bringing inflation down. This could mean that rate hikes are set to slow, and a more accommodative monetary policy could result in rising valuations.Second, the extent to which cryptos and other higher-risk equities got hit in 2022 paves the way for a more impressive resurgence. If we are on the verge of another bull market, higher-risk assets should be the first place investors look.In the crypto industry, I think these three tokens are worth a look at first.Bitcoin (BTC-USD)Every investor should consider including Bitcoin(BTC-USD), the leading cryptocurrency by market size, in their portfolio. Despite the skepticism of some investors, buying Bitcoin during its lows offers a compelling investment opportunity.Recently, Bitcoin has been on an upward trend, surging past the $20,000 level for the first time in two months, breaking its medium-term downside trend. At the time of writing, Bitcoin is just below the $23,000 level, poised for a continued breakout if this momentum continues. The reason why many investors choose Bitcoin is its historical track record. The overall performance of Bitcoin since inception beats any other asset class out there. Accordingly, while critics cite high energy usage and other downsides of proof-of-work validation, this is a crypto I think makes the most sense as a starter investment for those just starting to consider cryptocurrencies right now.Ethereum (ETH-USD)Ethereum(ETH-USD) is a crucial player in cryptocurrency, serving as the foundation for most decentralized applications. It’s certainly possible, and I think Ethereum maxis have a good reason for this argument.Simply put, most of the functional crypto projects that create utility out there are based on Ethereum or tied to Ethereum in some way.Ethereum has experienced a tremendous rise in value, growing by over 27,000% from roughly $11 to over $3,000 between April 2016 and March 2022. Despite this, Ethereum’s price dropped to a one-year low of $1,091 on 9 November 2022 due to a market-wide downturn. However, by 10 January 2023, it had rebounded to around $1,400 and currently trades slightly above $1,600.Solana (SOL-USD)Another project explicitly designed for decentralized finance is Solana(SOL-USD). This network is considered a main competitor to Ethereum, recognized for its fast performance and ability to handle many transactions.Presently, it’s estimated that Solana holds a market share of approximately 1.1% in the NFT sector. This is remarkable, given its market share was only 0.01% at the beginning of 2021. This rapid growth is attractive to long-term investors, and the crypto’s recovery is likely.Additionally, Solana witnessed substantial daily transaction growth in the second quarter. Over 40 million daily transactions were processed on the Solana network compared to 1 million for Ethereum from April to June. As a result, the Solana blockchain is perceived as more practical and less of an investment option.","news_type":1},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":212,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":9927452106,"gmtCreate":1672572764805,"gmtModify":1676538706352,"author":{"id":"3581922804763831","authorId":"3581922804763831","name":"BabokSong","avatar":"https://community-static.tradeup.com/news/c3327c0ff892b3f4e674bcc63808be59","crmLevel":3,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"3581922804763831","authorIdStr":"3581922804763831"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"Ok","listText":"Ok","text":"Ok","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":2,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/9927452106","isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":32,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":9927822999,"gmtCreate":1672452036912,"gmtModify":1676538692871,"author":{"id":"3581922804763831","authorId":"3581922804763831","name":"BabokSong","avatar":"https://community-static.tradeup.com/news/c3327c0ff892b3f4e674bcc63808be59","crmLevel":3,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"3581922804763831","authorIdStr":"3581922804763831"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"😃","listText":"😃","text":"😃","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":2,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/9927822999","isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":120,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":256463975805224,"gmtCreate":1703632557445,"gmtModify":1703632561384,"author":{"id":"3581922804763831","authorId":"3581922804763831","name":"BabokSong","avatar":"https://community-static.tradeup.com/news/c3327c0ff892b3f4e674bcc63808be59","crmLevel":3,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"3581922804763831","authorIdStr":"3581922804763831"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"I
