U.S. P","content":"

Almost three days into Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, global tensions are continuing to mount. U.S. President Joe Biden has announced harsher sanctions aimed at Russia’s financial and tech sectors. And while many agree that this type of action is necessary, it has also given rise to a new conflict-driven fear. CNN reports that U.S. officials have issued a dire warning to American businesses — be prepared for ransomware attacks.

This announcement came just minutes after Biden confirmed the new sanctions yesterday. David Ring, a senior cyber official with the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), told businesses that Russia’s cybercrime operations were likely to grow as the conflict continued. In ransomware attacks, a company’s data is held hostage through a phishing scam until a fee is paid. This trend of cybercrime from Russia has been growing steadily, but the war is likely to escalate it further.

While there have not been any “specific, credible threats” made to the U.S. homeland, businesses aren’t going to wait until there are. Cybersecurity companies are about to see an influx of demand for their services. Let’s take a look at the top cybersecurity stocks to buy before fears increase even more.

Palo Alto Networks (NASDAQ:PANW)

SentinelOne (NYSE:S)

CrowdStrike (NASDAQ:CRWD)

Cybersecurity Stocks to Buy: Palo Alto Networks (PANW)

A leader within the cybersecurity space, PANW had plenty to recommend it before the year began. InvestorPlace contributor Larry Ramer predicted that it was likely to outperform the Nasdaq in 2022. So far, its performance supports that hypothesis. Ramer noted that in addition to the mounting demand for cybersecurity services, the sector is becoming increasingly reliant on automation and artificial intelligence (AI) technology. Palo Alto Networks was quick to realize that and begin utilizing this type of tech. Fellow contributor Chris Markoch also touted the benefits of its App-ID platform and standalone solutions. Both authors issued these endorsements before war in Ukraine became a viable threat.

Now, conflict has escalated with a nation known for cyberattacks. There is even more reason to believe that PANW will continue to rise as this transpires. InvestorPlace’s Eddie Pan reports that analysts remain primarily bullish on the stock, issuing high price targets. This is partially due to the company’s recently reported earnings. However, the strong market momentum pushing cyber stocks upward remains a far more important factor. This sector leader should absolutely be held among cybersecurity stocks to buy.

SentinelOne (S)

Founded in 2013, SentinelOne made stock market history in June 2021 as the highest valued initial public offering (IPO) of the cybersecurity sector. Since then, it hasn’t disappointed investors. When InvestorPlace contributor Muslim Farooque analyzed top 2022 cyber plays, he noted that SentinelOne boasted an impressive AI platform. Additionally, the firm more than doubled its sales in 2020 and continued to grow in 2021.

After being courted by Microsoft (NASDAQ:MSFT) in early 2022, cyber defense leader Mandiant (NASDAQ:MNDT) opted to form a strategic alliance with SentinelOne to help clients mitigate data breaches and other cyber threats. Let’s take a look at the top cybersecurity stocks to buy before fears increase even more.Palo Alto Networks (NASDAQ:PANW)SentinelOne (NYSE:S)CrowdStrike (NASDAQ:CRWD)Cybersecurity Stocks to Buy: Palo Alto Networks (PANW)A leader within the cybersecurity space, PANW had plenty to recommend it before the year began. This sector leader should absolutely be held among cybersecurity stocks to buy.SentinelOne (S)Founded in 2013, SentinelOne made stock market history in June 2021 as the highest valued initial public offering (IPO) of the cybersecurity sector. Since then, it hasn’t disappointed investors. When InvestorPlace contributor Muslim Farooque analyzed top 2022 cyber plays, he noted that SentinelOne boasted an impressive AI platform. Additionally, the firm more than doubled its sales in 2020 and continued to grow in 2021.After being courted by Microsoft (NASDAQ:MSFT) in early 2022, cyber defense leader Mandiant (NASDAQ:MNDT) opted to form a strategic alliance with SentinelOne to help clients mitigate data breaches and other cyber threats. Also worth noting is the fact that SentinelOne boasts a customer-centric business model. “Mutual collaboration means the company and its partners serve their customer needs fully,” notes InvestorPlace contributor Chris Lau. Both attributes position the company well to help customers prevent cyberattacks before they happen, making S stock a clear play for cybersecurity stocks to buy.Cybersecurity Stocks to Buy: CrowdStrike Holdings (CRWD)Amid the market selloff that we saw in February 2021, Wall Street still held CRWD not just among cybersecurity stocks to buy but among general market winners. It took less than 17 months for the index to double from its trough, which is pretty incredible when you consider that the average annual total return, including dividends, for the S&P 500 is closer to 11% since the beginning of 1980.

Despite these big gains, select analysts and investment banks see a lot more upside for a small group of hypergrowth companies (those delivering jaw-dropping sales growth). If Wall Street's loftiest price targets for the following three fast-paced stocks prove accurate, they could soar 216% to 257% in 2022.

Coinbase Global: Implied upside of 216%

The first hypergrowth stock with immense upside this year is cryptocurrency exchange and ecosystem Coinbase Global (NASDAQ:COIN). Analyst Lisa Ellis of MoffettNathanson holds the high-water price target for Coinbase on Wall Street at $600. Should it reach this lofty figure, shareholders would realize a 216% return on their investment, based on where shares ended on Monday, Jan. 31.

If investors take a close look at Coinbase's operating performance, they're going to like what they see. As of the end of the third quarter, the number of monthly transacting users had more than tripled from the prior-year period to 7.4 million, with assets on the platform surging to $255 billion from $36 billion, year-over-year. Likewise, the company probably delivered more than $3 billion in net income in 2021.

A number of Wall Street analysts are clearly excited about the long-term prospects of the "Big Two" in crypto, Bitcoin and Ethereum, which account for a significant portion of Coinbase's exchange-based trading revenue. They're also intrigued about the company's ventures beyond crypto exchanges, such as setting up a non-fungible token (NFT) marketplace for users. NFTs are the proof of ownership of digital assets stored on blockchain.

Although cryptocurrencies have handily outperformed the stock market on an aggregate basis over the past couple of years, there's also a lot of risk that comes with such a lofty price target. For example, competition among crypto exchanges is heating up, not slowing down. Among traditional stock brokerages, commission wars eventually led to the elimination of these fees. It seemingly wouldn't be difficult for other crypto exchanges to undercut Coinbase's fees.

Another concern is that the company is almost entirely reliant on external factors instead of innovation to grow. With much of its growth reliant on the performance of Bitcoin and Ethereum, price weakness from the Big Two, or even a loss of interest from the investing community, could threaten to send revenue and profits markedly lower. It happened in 2018, and history suggests it could happen again.

In other words, I wouldn't expect Coinbase to get anywhere near $600 in 2022.

Plug Power: Implied upside of 257%

Another hypergrowth stock with the potential to skyrocket this year, at least according to one Wall Street analyst, is hydrogen fuel-cell solutions provider Plug Power (NASDAQ:PLUG). Amit Dayal of H.C. Wainwright has Plug hitting a price target of $78, which implies up to 257% upside from where shares closed out January.

You could certainly say that Plug Power finds itself in the right place, at the right time. Most countries are looking for ways to reduce carbon emissions and promote green-energy solutions. This means Plug's hydrogen fuel-cell solutions for vehicles and individual machines (like forklifts), as well as its hydrogen infrastructure hubs, should be in high demand for many years to come.

What's really validated the potential for this company is the handful of major partnerships and joint ventures that have been struck since the beginning of 2021. For instance, SK Group took a 10% equity stake in the company in February 2021, with the duo forming a joint venture that'll focus on putting hydrogen fuel-cell vehicles on the road in numerous Asian markets. Around this time, Plug also formed a joint venture with French automaker Renault, known as Hyvia. Hyvia's goal is to go after 30% of the light commercial vehicle market in Europe.

Growth expectations for the company have been nothing short of phenomenal. In 2020, Plug Power brought in $337 million in revenue. By 2024, management has forecast $1.7 billion in annual gross billings. This year alone, Wall Street anticipates sales growth will exceed 80%.

Although this might sound like a slam-dunk investment, investors should also consider that Plug Power isn't yet profitable, and none of the 21 Wall Street analysts covering the company expect it to reach profitability in 2022. In an environment where interest rates are set to rise, unprofitable growth stocks often see their valuation multiples contract. While the technology and partnerships are intriguing, Plug Power has a lot to prove if it's ever going to hit $78 a share.

Fiverr International: Implied upside of 216%

A third hypergrowth stock with serious upside potential is online services marketplace Fiverr International (NYSE:FVRR). Though Wall Street's price targets have fluctuated wildly over the past year, the high-water estimate currently calls for Fiverr to hit $270. Should this lofty prognostication come to fruition, it would match Coinbase with a 216% gain.

To some extent, Fiverr's appeal comes from being in the right place when the coronavirus pandemic hit. It's a platform that connects freelancers with buyers of their services, and the market for remote workers exploded in the wake of the pandemic. With inflation also soaring, we're witnessing a hybrid-work environment where remote workers have incredible wage-pricing power.

However, Fiverr's persistently high sales growth rate is about more than just the pandemic. It's about providing a differentiated platform. Whereas competing online marketplaces push freelancers to price their services per hour, Fiverr's freelancers are pricing their services as a package deal. This leads to improved price transparency for buyers, and it's helped pushed Fiverr's take rate (what it gets to keep from arranging these deals on its platform) to levels that are well above its competition.

Fiverr is interested in targeting larger businesses with its marketplace, too. The launch of subscription-based Fiverr Business in September 2020 provides bigger companies with project management and collaborative tools that help them use freelancers effectively.

The big concern with Fiverr, similar to Plug Power, is the prospect of rising interest rates and the multiple contraction that typically accompanies a hawkish Federal Reserve. Wall Street's earnings forecast for 2022 is all over the place, with a consensus profit of $0.47 per share on the heels of 26% sales growth. Even with shares 75% below their all-time high, this works out to a price-to-earnings ratio of 182 and places the company at roughly 8 times projected sales.

Admittedly, this is far less expensive than where it was nearly a year ago, with shares hitting $336 on an intra-day basis. But even its current $85 share price could be deemed pricey given the uncertainty associated with the pandemic and the future of the hybrid-work environment.

","source":"fool_stock","collect":0,"html":"\n
\n
\n\n\n\n
3 Hypergrowth Stocks That Can Soar 216% to 257% in 2022, According to Wall Street
\n\n
\n
\n
\n
\n
\n3 Hypergrowth Stocks That Can Soar 216% to 257% in 2022, According to Wall Street\n
\n\n
\n\n\n2022-02-04 23:06 GMT+8 Motley Fool\n\n\n
\n\n
\n
\n
\n
You may not realize it, but the broad-based S&P 500 enjoyed a historic bounce from the March 2020 pandemic low. This year alone, Wall Street anticipates sales growth will exceed 80%.Although this might sound like a slam-dunk investment, investors should also consider that Plug Power isn't yet profitable, and none of the 21 Wall Street analysts covering the company expect it to reach profitability in 2022. In an environment where interest rates are set to rise, unprofitable growth stocks often see their valuation multiples contract. While the technology and partnerships are intriguing, Plug Power has a lot to prove if it's ever going to hit $78 a share.Fiverr International: Implied upside of 216%A third hypergrowth stock with serious upside potential is online services marketplace Fiverr International (NYSE:FVRR). Though Wall Street's price targets have fluctuated wildly over the past year, the high-water estimate currently calls for Fiverr to hit $270. Should this lofty prognostication come to fruition, it would match Coinbase with a 216% gain.To some extent, Fiverr's appeal comes from being in the right place when the coronavirus pandemic hit. This leads to improved price transparency for buyers, and it's helped pushed Fiverr's take rate (what it gets to keep from arranging these deals on its platform) to levels that are well above its competition.Fiverr is interested in targeting larger businesses with its marketplace, too. Even with shares 75% below their all-time high, this works out to a price-to-earnings ratio of 182 and places the company at roughly 8 times projected sales.Admittedly, this is far less expensive than where it was nearly a year ago, with shares hitting $336 on an intra-day basis. But even its current $85 share price could be deemed pricey given the uncertainty associated with the pandemic and the future of the hybrid-work environment.","news_type":1},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":505,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":9049166048,"gmtCreate":1655770019784,"gmtModify":1676535700086,"author":{"id":"3582101321255914","authorId":"3582101321255914","name":"鸟雨花香","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/98b16b55879fd1a4b831b436592733a7","crmLevel":2,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"3582101321255914","authorIdStr":"3582101321255914"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"O.k","listText":"O.k","text":"O.k","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":12,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/9049166048","repostId":"2244800443","repostType":4,"repost":{"id":"2244800443","pubTimestamp":1655769621,"share":"https://ttm.financial/m/news/2244800443?lang=&edition=fundamental","pubTime":"2022-06-21 08:00","market":"us","language":"en","title":"3 Stocks to Avoid This Week","url":"https://stock-news.laohu8.com/highlight/detail?id=2244800443","media":"Motley Fool","summary":"These investments seem pretty vulnerable right now.","content":"

My "three stocks to avoid" column last week was a dud. The three stocks I thought were going to move lower for the week -- Oracle, Beyond Air, and Blink Charging -- finished up 1%, up 5%, and flat, respectively, averaging out to a 2% gain.

The S&P 500 experienced a 5.8% drop, and the investments I figured would fare worse did a lot better. I was wrong, but I have still been correct in 24 of the past 35 weeks.

Where do I go to next? I see Rite Aid, MicroStrategy, and CVR Energy as stocks you may want to consider steering clear of this week. Let's go over my near-term concerns with all three investments.

Rite Aid

Time hasn't been kind to Rite Aid since it rejected a buyout proposal to take the drugstore operator private at $14.60 a share three months ago. The stock begins this holiday-shortened trading week at $6.20.

It doesn't help that Rite Aid also posted a much larger quarterly loss than analysts were expecting in April. Adding fuel to the fire sale, the drugstore chain reports fresh financials on Thursday morning.

There's always hope that Rite Aid eventually finds a suitable exit strategy. It never truly recovered from when shareholders shot down a proposed pairing with Walgreens a few years ago. It also has assets it may be able to unlock. Deutsche Bank stunned the market when it slashed its price target on Rite Aid from $16 to $1 three months ago. Deutsche Bank analyst George Hill has since boosted that price goal to $2, and then $4 on the potential for Rite Aid to raise money by selling its pharmacy benefits manager business, but he's sticking to his bearish sell rating. The upside is there if Rite Aid can ever get beyond its arrogance, but for now it has a pending quarterly earnings update, and that didn't go well last time.

MicroStrategy

There's been something wrong with the crypto market in recent months, and the chaos is only intensifying. We've even seen a stablecoin and a decentralized finance platform slam on the brakes in the past couple of weeks. The market's confidence in digital currencies has been rattled, possibly to the point where it's irreversible. Where does that leave MicroStrategy?

CEO Michael Saylor has gone all in on Bitcoin (BTC 6.58%). It's a decision that seemed brilliant when he invested billions in the top crypto as it was rising. But it's been disastrous on the way down. More to the point, the enterprise software company that Sailor should be focusing on was never exciting. We're talking about declining annual revenue in six of the past seven years. Bitcoin's crash is showing us that the emperor has no clothes, but it's not as if MicroStrategy itself was a snappy dresser before the costly infatuation with the imploding crypto market.

CVR Energy

After back-to-back weeks of greater-than 5% slides, I want my third pick to be hopeful for a general market rebound. This means betting against an investment that's been rising as general markets are falling. One of the largest companies to have more than doubled in 2022 is CVR Energy.

The petroleum refiner and maker of nitrogen fertilizer is booming alongside most oil and gas stocks this year. With petroleum prices soaring, it's easy to see why the stock is up 105% year to date. However, the good times aren't expected to last. Revenue and earnings are skyrocketing this year, but analysts see an 8% revenue decline come 2023, with earnings cut nearly in half. Looking back, it has also posted a larger-than-expected adjusted loss in two of the past three quarters. If the overall market starts to recover, there will be some rotation out of this red-hot sector. CVR Energy is doing a lot of things right, but even winners need to take a breather now and then.

It's going to be a bumpy road for some of these investments. So let's look at five companies I think are great buys right now and see why they could be worth holding for a decade (or longer).

AIe is a key investment theme for these five

The five stocks with serious AI aspirations that look like excellent buys right now are Alphabet, Taiwan Semiconductor , Adobe, Amazon , and CrowdStrike . While none of these companies is 100% focused on AI, each has an essential offering in this space, making them strong AI plays.

Alphabet has multiple AI investment avenues. Whether it's Alphabet's expansive developer toolkit, generative-AI-based search capability, or Google Cloud (its cloud computing infrastructure), the company has significant AI investments. Plus, with CEO Sundar Pichai claiming that Alphabet is an "AI-first" company, its priorities are set on AI proliferation.

Taiwan Semiconductor is the world's leading contract chip manufacturer. With clients such as Apple and Nvidia, it is a key source of cutting-edge chips that power AI calculations. Furthermore, it's ramping production on its 3nm (nanometer) chips, which are more powerful and efficient than previous generations. When this technology reaches full-scale production, it will be the best option to power GPUs inside massive AI data centers.

Adobe is known for its graphic design product suite but also has been working to integrate AI into its offerings. With generative AI wrapped into several of its offerings, it can apply different scenes, perform basic functions, and optimize marketing campaigns. While Adobe may be a mature software company, it's not shying away from integrating these new and exciting technologies.

While Amazon is primarily known for its e-commerce products, it has another vital division that makes up nearly one-fifth of sales: Amazon Web Services (AWS). AWS is the most popular and largest cloud computing provider and a key AI partner for many clients because it allows them to run massive workloads required to train AI in its data centers. With the cloud computing market opportunity expected to grow from a $678 billion industry in 2023 to a $2.43 trillion one by 2030 (thanks partly to AI proliferation), it's a massive investment opportunity.

Finally, CrowdStrike is a pure-play cybersecurity company. Cybersecurity is a vital part of any business infrastructure, and with attacks only increasing, it's practically a required operating expense. At the core of CrowdStrike's offering is AI, as it uses machine learning (ML) to analyze standard operating patterns to distinguish between regular activity and threats. After making the determination, it can quickly shut down any intrusion to prevent a massive data breach. While volatility may continue to shake the market in the near term, investors now have a sizable collection of great companies trading at much more attractive prices to choose from.

With that in mind, a panel of Motley Fool contributors has identified three of their favorite beaten-down growth stocks. Read on to see why they think Adobe (NASDAQ:ADBE), PayPal Holdings (NASDAQ:PYPL), and PubMatic are great buys for long-term investors at current prices.

Keep it simple with Adobe

Daniel Foelber (Adobe): Thursday's consumer price index report by the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics showed that U.S. inflation is now 7.5%. The economy is booming, but the Federal Reserve indicated it's going to begin raising interest rates to combat inflation. Rising interest rates paired with inflation cast a pall on growth stocks that depend on capital markets and are valued on their future earnings.

However, the widespread sell-off in growth stocks has rippled into industry-leading companies, too. Companies like Adobe.

Adobe rakes in a ton of profit and free cash flow and doesn't rely on debt to run its business -- so it's less vulnerable to rising interest rates. What's more, Adobe has recurring revenue thanks to its subscription-based business model. Adobe's cloud-based software suite is an enterprise staple for many businesses -- which gives Adobe pricing power and helps protect its performance during uncertain times.

Adobe's growth has slowed in recent years as its business has matured. But the company is also making more money than ever before.

ADBE Revenue (Annual) data by YCharts

Annual revenue growth of 41% in three years is pretty bad for a growth stock. But Adobe isn't the young unproven company it used to be. Now, it's a cash cow that converts more sales into free cash flow that it can use to reinvest in the business or to seek out bolt-on acquisitions.

In less than three months, share prices of Adobe are down 30% from their all-time high set Nov. 22. And as tempting as it may be to try and catch one of the many falling-knife growth stocks that are down upward of 70%, a safer bet is to simply buy an industry leader like Adobe on sale. It's an investment that will help you sleep at night because you can take solace in the fact that no matter how bad inflation or any other short- to medium-term issue becomes, Adobe is likely to remain a strong business for decades to come.

It's still the go-to digital payment middleman

James Brumley PayPal: For the record, I completely get why PayPal shares have been beaten to a pulp lately. The rise of cryptocurrency potentially leaves fiat currency middlemen out of the loop, and even to the extent consumers want to stick with government-issued dollars, real competition is creeping in. No wonder PayPal shares have peeled back more than 60% from July's peak, and reached new 52-week lows just this past week.

The thing is, the market seems to be forgetting that PayPal is still not only the king of the mobile wallet space, but is also already wading in cryptocurrency waters. It's not just offering a means of spending your crypto dollars, either. PayPal's platform allows you to buy, sell and just hold your cryptocurrency. Of these two key details though, I think the fact that it's still such a familiar brand people are comfortable with is going to keep driving growth most investors don't seem to see is in the cards.

In this vein, analysts are calling for revenue growth of 16% this year and 20% next year, which should in turn pump up 2021's per-share profit of $4.60 to $5.84 in 2023. There's nothing not to like about that, especially in light of the fact that you can now own this stock for only about 20 times next year's expected earnings.

This small-cap advertising player could be a huge winner

Keith Noonan PubMatic : PubMatic has seen rocky trading since its pricing peak early last year, and I've been using recent sell-offs as an opportunity to build my position in the stock. The company is now one of the largest holdings in my portfolio, and I plan to keep buying shares and holding for the long term. This is a small-cap company that has the potential to deliver explosive growth.

PubMatic is an advertising-technologies specialist that provides a platform that makes it easier for advertisers and publishers to get the most out of advertising placements. Whether through gathering data or actual placements, digital advertising is a primary monetization method for websites, applications, and streaming content services.

The digital-ads market is still set for big growth over the long term, and there's a promising demand outlook for PubMatic's programmatic advertising services. On the other hand, that hasn't stopped the stock from posting dramatic sell-offs.

With investors becoming increasingly risk-averse and Apple implementing new data-tracking restrictions on its mobile platform, PubMatic's valuation has been under pressure. The stock trades down roughly 62% from its high and has a market capitalization of roughly $1.5 billion. It could have explosive growth potential from here.

PubMatic stock now trades at roughly 35 times this year's expected earnings and 5.4 times this year's expected sales. Revenue increased 54% year over year in the third quarter, and earnings per share surged 140%. While volatility may continue to shake the market in the near term, investors now have a sizable collection of great companies trading at much more attractive prices to choose from. With that in mind, a panel of Motley Fool contributors has identified three of their favorite beaten-down growth stocks. Read on to see why they think Adobe (NASDAQ:ADBE), PayPal Holdings (NASDAQ:PYPL), and PubMatic are great buys for long-term investors at current prices.Keep it simple with AdobeDaniel Foelber (Adobe): Thursday's consumer price index report by the U.S. Companies like Adobe.Adobe rakes in a ton of profit and free cash flow and doesn't rely on debt to run its business -- so it's less vulnerable to rising interest rates. What's more, Adobe has recurring revenue thanks to its subscription-based business model. Adobe's cloud-based software suite is an enterprise staple for many businesses -- which gives Adobe pricing power and helps protect its performance during uncertain times.Adobe's growth has slowed in recent years as its business has matured. But the company is also making more money than ever before.ADBE Revenue (Annual) data by YChartsAnnual revenue growth of 41% in three years is pretty bad for a growth stock. It's still the go-to digital payment middlemanJames Brumley PayPal: For the record, I completely get why PayPal shares have been beaten to a pulp lately. This small-cap advertising player could be a huge winnerKeith Noonan PubMatic : PubMatic has seen rocky trading since its pricing peak early last year, and I've been using recent sell-offs as an opportunity to build my position in the stock. The company is now one of the largest holdings in my portfolio, and I plan to keep buying shares and holding for the long term. This is a small-cap company that has the potential to deliver explosive growth.PubMatic is an advertising-technologies specialist that provides a platform that makes it easier for advertisers and publishers to get the most out of advertising placements. Whether through gathering data or actual placements, digital advertising is a primary monetization method for websites, applications, and streaming content services. The digital-ads market is still set for big growth over the long term, and there's a promising demand outlook for PubMatic's programmatic advertising services. On the other hand, that hasn't stopped the stock from posting dramatic sell-offs.With investors becoming increasingly risk-averse and Apple implementing new data-tracking restrictions on its mobile platform, PubMatic's valuation has been under pressure. The stock trades down roughly 62% from its high and has a market capitalization of roughly $1.5 billion. It could have explosive growth potential from here.PubMatic stock now trades at roughly 35 times this year's expected earnings and 5.4 times this year's expected sales. Revenue increased 54% year over year in the third quarter, and earnings per share surged 140%. The ads specialist also ended the period with $136.7 million in cash and short-term investments against zero debt. For a company with a strong balance sheet that's also profitable and growing at a rapid clip, PubMatic stock looks cheap at current prices.","news_type":1},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":302,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":9091966142,"gmtCreate":1643765138053,"gmtModify":1676533852841,"author":{"id":"3582101321255914","authorId":"3582101321255914","name":"鸟雨花香","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/98b16b55879fd1a4b831b436592733a7","crmLevel":2,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"3582101321255914","authorIdStr":"3582101321255914"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"Good to know","listText":"Good to know","text":"Good to know","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":20,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/9091966142","repostId":"2208359771","repostType":4,"repost":{"id":"2208359771","pubTimestamp":1643759992,"share":"https://ttm.financial/m/news/2208359771?lang=&edition=fundamental","pubTime":"2022-02-02 07:59","market":"us","language":"en","title":"Wall St Posts Gains after Choppy Session, Energy Index Hits New Peak","url":"https://stock-news.laohu8.com/highlight/detail?id=2208359771","media":"Reuters","summary":"* Exxon Mobil gains on strong results* UPS jumps on upbeat forecast* AT&T down on halving dividend* ","content":"

* Exxon Mobil gains on strong results

* UPS jumps on upbeat forecast

* AT&T down on halving dividend

* Indexes rise: Dow 0.78%, S&P 0.69%, Nasdaq 0.75%

All three Wall Street benchmarks advanced on Tuesday and the energy index closed at a record high, although seesaw trading reflected investor uncertainty about how to play the current market.

Recent sessions have been choppy, as the prospect of an aggressive rate-hike campaign by the U.S. Federal Reserve looms large and investors seek to position themselves accordingly - a task not made easy by lingering pandemic influences on the economy and geopolitical tension in Europe.

But despite losing 5.3% and 3.3% in January respectively, the S&P 500 and the Dow have now recorded three straight days of gains, with the Nasdaq - which dropped 8.99% in the first month of 2022 - posting four positive sessions in the last five.

It did not look like that would happen earlier in the session, when all three benchmarks traded lower in the wake of data from the Labor Department and the ISM's purchasing managers' index (PMI).

"You're starting to see that there are a lot of investors who are concerned about valuations going forward, but there are others who are worried about growth, so it seems the wall of worry keeps on growing as the economy exits this pandemic," said Ed Moya, senior market analyst at OANDA.

Philadelphia Fed President Patrick Harker said on Tuesday it may be appropriate for the U.S. central bank to raise rates four times this year, while Atlanta Fed president Raphael Bostic said the Fed needs to act "soon" to control inflation expectations.

Traders are betting on five rate hikes this year, with some Wall Street analysts expecting seven hikes.

"This will be the year when Fed will pull back support ... the markets will not be on steroids anymore and may go through a phase of detox," said Anu Gaggar, global investment strategist at Commonwealth Financial Network.

Geopolitical tensions added to market volatility, with Ukraine's president signing a decree to boost his armed forces by 100,000 troops over three years, as European leaders lined up to back him in a standoff with Russia and the United States demanded immediate Russian de-escalation.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 273.38 points, or 0.78%, to 35,405.24, the S&P 500 gained 30.99 points, or 0.69%, to 4,546.54 and the Nasdaq Composite added 106.12 points, or 0.75%, to 14,346.00.

Once again, energy led the major S&P sectors, gaining 3.5% to close at a record high.
