It's not an easy business, as Offerpad's largest competitor, Zillow Group (NASDAQ:Z)(NASDAQ:ZG) recently proved when it dropped out of the segment after sustaining significant losses.

But there are bright spots to Offerpad's different approach, and Wall Street firm JMP Securities thinks the stock has what it takes to rise by 84% in the next 12 to 18 months to $12 a share. Here's why.

Being selective is key for Offerpad

Since 2019, Zillow has been on a home-buying binge, purchasing 26,014 houses -- in some cases, multiple-home estates -- with the intention of reselling them quickly for a profit. This strategy is great when real estate prices are rising across the board, but when pockets of the market go soft, it can result in significant losses.

Zillow recently listed up to 1,000 of its homes for sale in its five largest markets, 64% of which were reportedly priced below what it paid for them. And in Phoenix, Arizona, up to 93% of its properties are slated to be sold at a loss. In the recent third quarter, Zillow's iBuying segment lost $244 million and erased all of the gross profit the segment had made for the entire year.

Part of the issue is Zillow's broad geographical footprint. It operates in, and therefore had to carefully track, up to 35 markets across the U.S. Offerpad, on the other hand, operates in 17 markets. Where Zillow's iBuying average gross profit per home peaked at $18,665, Offerpad's average peak (so far) is $31,500 per home in the second quarter of 2021.

It highlights the importance of being selective, because like any asset class, home prices constantly fluctuate, and being on the wrong side can be catastrophic. For Offerpad, now that its largest competitor has moved out of the way, it has an opportunity to grow its market share in the higher-quality markets Zillow has left behind.

A surge in revenue

By the close of 2021, Offerpad expects it will have sold up to 6,000 homes for the year, driving a record revenue result. In the recent third quarter, it actually increased its 2021 revenue guidance by $100 million. But in 2022, analysts expect it will do even better.

Metric

2020

2021 (Estimate)

2022 (Projected)

CAGR

Revenue

$1.06 billion

$1.90 billion

$3.53 billion

82%

Data source: Offerpad, Yahoo! Finance. CAGR = Compound Annual Growth Rate.

Offerpad's gross profit per home of $22,700 in the third quarter was down from the $31,500 it generated in the second quarter. However, it was still a 48% year-over-year gain and is therefore trending in the right direction.

The company attributes its success to a combination of its technology and people. Where other iBuying companies rely solely on algorithms to price a home, Offerpad allows technology to do 90% of the work, and it then uses physical intervention by its employees to inspect the home and bring the deal to a close.

Additionally, it adds value by renovating houses using Offerpad-employed tradespeople, which allows it to achieve higher sale prices compared to simply flipping a property immediately. The company aims to buy, renovate, and sell each home within 100 days.

The stock is cheap

Offerpad's stock trades at a price-to-sales multiple of just 0.8. By comparison, and despite all of its issues, Zillow's stock trades at a multiple of 2.1 based on estimated 2021 revenue. That means Offerpad's stock would need to double from here just to trade in line with its tech-real estate peer.

If Offerpad meets analysts' expectations and generates $3.53 billion in revenue next year, its multiple will shrink further to just 0.4 (assuming its stock price remains the same). That makes its recent 68% decline in share price look like an attractive opportunity going into 2022.

Offerpad is expected to post a loss overall for 2021, but JMP Securities expects it will close out 2021 with a fourth-quarter profit of $0.35 per share. The firm's price target of $12 might even look conservative if Offerpad can turn profitable next year -- it's even possible it could revisit its highs near $20 per share -- but it operates in a tough business, and investors should proceed with cautious optimism.

","source":"fool_stock","collect":0,"html":"\n
\n
\n\n\n\n
1 Growth Stock Down 68% That Wall Street Thinks Could Soar in 2022
\n\n
\n
\n
\n
\n
\n1 Growth Stock Down 68% That Wall Street Thinks Could Soar in 2022\n
\n\n
\n\n\n2022-01-01 10:26 GMT+8 Motley Fool\n\n\n
\n\n
\n
\n
\n
Let's be clear: Any stock that collapses by 68% from its high carries inherent risks, and that's certainly the case with real estate iBuying company Offerpad Solutions (NYSE:OPAD).Offerpad buys homes ...
\n\nWeb Link\n\n
\n\n\n
\n
\n
\n
\n","type":0,"thumbnail":"","relate_stocks":{"BK4548":"巴美列捷福持仓","BK4551":"寇图资本持仓","ZG":"Zillow Class A","BK4079":"房地产服务","OPAD":"Offerpad Solutions","Z":"Zillow"},"source_url":"https://www.fool.com/investing/2021/12/31/1-growth-stock-down-68-soar-2022-says-wall-street/","is_english":true,"share_image_url":"https://static.laohu8.com/e9f99090a1c2ed51c021029395664489","article_id":"2195481004","content_text":"Let's be clear: Any stock that collapses by 68% from its high carries inherent risks, and that's certainly the case with real estate iBuying company Offerpad Solutions (NYSE:OPAD).Offerpad buys homes directly from sellers, adds value by renovating them, and then flips them for a profit. Fool","summary":"These growth and value stocks are begging to be bought by investors.","content":"
When Warren Buffett buys or sells a stock, Wall Street and retail investors tend to pay very close attention. That's because the Oracle of Omaha's track record is virtually unsurpassed. Since taking the reins of Berkshire Hathaway (NYSE:BRK.A)(NYSE:BRK.B) in the mid-1960s, Buffett's company has averaged an annual return of 20%. This works out to an aggregate gain of greater than 2,800,000% for its Class A shares.
\n
Although Buffett isn't perfect, he and his investing team have a knack for identifying attractively valued businesses that have clear competitive advantages. As we prepare to move into the second half of 2021, the following five Buffett stocks stand out as those that should be bought hand over fist.
\n
Berkshire Hathaway CEO Warren Buffett. Image source: The Motley Fool.
\n
Amazon
\n
Even though Buffett's investing lieutenants, Todd Combs and Ted Weschler, are the architects behind Berkshire Hathaway's stake in Amazon (NASDAQ:AMZN), it's arguably the Buffett stock that should be bought most aggressively ahead of the second half of the year.
\n
As most folks probably know, Amazon is an e-commerce juggernaut. Based on an April report from eMarketer, the company effectively controls $0.40 of every $1 spent online in the United States. It's also pivoted its online retail popularity into signing up more than 200 million people to its Prime program worldwide. The fees Amazon collects from Prime help it to undercut its competition on price. And it certainly doesn't hurt that Prime members tend to spend many multiples more than non-Prime shoppers during the course of the year.
\n
But it's the company's cloud infrastructure service, Amazon Web Services (AWS), that has truly budded into a star. Since the operating margins associated with cloud infrastructure are considerably higher than what Amazon nets from retail and advertising, AWS' growth is leading to a surge in operating cash flow. If investors were to continue to pay the midpoint of Amazon's operating cash flow multiple over the past decade, it could hit $10,000 a share by 2025.
\n
\n
Bristol Myers Squibb
\n
Pharmaceutical stocks are money machines, and none looks to be more attractive on a valuation basis than Bristol Myers Squibb (NYSE:BMY).
\n
One reason to be excited about this drug developer is its organic growth potential. Eliquis, which was co-developed with Pfizer, has blossomed into the world's leading oral anticoagulant, with sales expected to surpass $10 billion in 2021. Meanwhile, dozens of additional clinical trials are underway for cancer immunotherapy Opdivo, which generated $7 billion in sales last year. This offers plenty of opportunity to expand Opdivo's label and pump up its pricing power.
\n
Another reason Bristol Myers Squibb is such an intriguing stock is its November 2019 acquisition of cancer and immunology company Celgene. Buying Celgene brought the blockbuster multiple-myeloma drug Revlimid into the fold. Revlimid has sustainably grown its annual sales by a double-digit percentage for more than a decade, with label expansion, longer duration of use, and pricing power all playing a role. This key treatment, which topped $12 billion in sales last year, is protected from a full onslaught of generic competition until early 2026. That means Bristol Myers will be rolling in the dough for another five years, at minimum.
\n
\n
Mastercard
\n
Everyone seems to be looking for the smartest recovery play from the pandemic. Payment processor Mastercard (NYSE:MA) might well be the safest way to take advantage of a steady uptick in consumer and enterprise spending.
\n
Mastercard isn't a cheap stock by any means -- at 36 times Wall Street's forward-year earnings consensus -- but it benefits from a simple numbers game. While economic contractions and recessions are inevitable, these periods of turbulence tend to be short-lived. By comparison, economic expansions often last many years. Buying into Mastercard allows investors to take full advantage of these long periods of economic expansion and robust spending. Plus, it doesn't hurt that Mastercard has the second-highest share of credit-card network purchase volume in the U.S., the leading market for consumption.
\n
Investors can also sleep easy with the understanding that Mastercard strictly sticks to payment facilitation. Even though some of its peers also lend, and are therefore able to generate interest income and fees during bull markets, Mastercard has avoided becoming a lender. It's something you'll truly appreciate when a recession strikes. Whereas most financial stocks will be forced to set aside capital to cover credit or loan delinquencies, Mastercard won't have to. This is a big reason it bounces back from recessions quicker than most financial stocks.
\n
\n
Teva Pharmaceutical Industries
\n
If you have an appetite for turnaround plays, brand-name and generic-drug developer Teva Pharmaceutical Industries (NYSE:TEVA) is the stock to buy hand over fist for the second half of 2021. Like Amazon, it's a stock that was added to Berkshire Hathaway's portfolio by either Combs or Weschler and not Buffett.
\n
While there's no denying that Teva has its fair share of hurdles to overcome, the company's turnaround-focused CEO, Kare Schultz, has been a blessing. Since taking the helm less than four years ago, Schultz has helped shave off more than $10 billion in net debt, and he's overseen the reduction of roughly $3 billion in annual operating expenses. There's more work to do to improve Teva's balance sheet, but the company is very clearly on much firmer ground than it was back in 2016-2017.
\n
Schultz also has the potential to play peacemaker for a number of outstanding lawsuits targeting Teva's role in the opioid crisis. If this litigation can be resolved with minimal cash outlay, Teva's valuation could soar. At just 4 times the company's projected earnings in 2021, Teva is about as cheap as a healthcare stock can get.
\n
\n
Bank of America
\n
Lastly, bank stock Bank of America (NYSE:BAC) has the look of a company that can be confidently bought hand over fist for the second half of 2021.
\n
For much of the past decade, the Federal Reserve has kept interest rates at or near historic lows. That's meant less in the way of interest income for banks. But the latest update from the nation's central bank suggests that interest rates could begin creeping up in 2023, a year earlier than previously forecast. Bank of America is the most interest-sensitive money-center bank. According to its first-quarter investor presentation, BofA would generate $8.3 billion in net interest income on a 100-basis-point shift in the interest rate yield curve. Translation: Bank of America's profits should rocket higher beginning in 2023-2024.
\n
At the same time, BofA has done an outstanding job of controlling its costs and improving its operating efficiency. Investments in digitization have resulted in higher mobile app and digital banking use, which is allowing the company to consolidate some of its branches. Even with its shares at a 13-year high, Bank of America has plenty left in the tank.
","source":"fool_stock","collect":0,"html":"\n
\n
\n\n\n\n
5 Buffett Stocks to Buy Hand Over Fist for the Second Half of 2021
\n\n
\n
\n
\n
\n
\n5 Buffett Stocks to Buy Hand Over Fist for the Second Half of 2021\n
\n\n
\n\n\n2021-06-27 08:55 GMT+8 Motley Fool\n\n\n
\n\n
\n
\n
\n
When Warren Buffett buys or sells a stock, Wall Street and retail investors tend to pay very close attention. Most investors are rattled by the implications of this move, but they should also not forget to think of the opportunities.

In this article, we will review the business, valuation, and risks to come to a more informed opinion on the stock. In final analysis, I believe Alibaba offers one of the best opportunities in the market.

FYQ4 Debates

I don't like spending too much time on short-term considerations, but I'll make an exception given the large recent declines, including additional weakness after reporting FYQ4 earnings.

In its latestquarter, FYQ4, the company guided fiscal year 2022 revenue to RMB 930 billion, which is higher than previous expectations, however, all incremental profits will be used to support its merchants and to invest into new businesses. I estimated management intends to spend RMB 70 billion in new strategic initiatives, which is double last fiscal year's spending. As a result, margins and core commerce EBITA will likely compress in FY22.

Every time you get margin pressure, you get some investors howling about the lack of profits. As someone who followed Amazon (AMZN) for a long time, I believe such concerns are short-sighted. Alibaba's management believes their investments will yield an additional 100 million customers in China in FY22, an acceleration from FY21's addition of 85 million customers. Although Alibaba is massive, it is still a growth company with revenue surging 64% y/y in FYQ4, and thus investors should cheer any opportunity to deploy capital to grow faster. I've made this argument with Amazon back in 2017 in an article calledAmazon Bears Will Get Crushedand make the same argument for Alibaba.

The second concern is the deceleration of Cloud Services revenue, which decelerated to +37%, down from +50% the previous quarter. The loss of ByteDance (BDNCE) overseas business weighed on growth and will remain a headwind until it gets annualized. Investors are now worried that ByteDance will internalize its domestic cloud as well, which could weigh on BABA's cloud growth. However, the cloud business is only 9% of the company's revenues last quarter and ByteDance is only one customer - so investors shouldn't let the tail wag the dog.

I believe Q4 results played a relatively minor role in Alibaba's stock price decline. We will discuss more material issues in the Risk section.

Business

BABA is the largest e-commerce platform in the world by gross merchandise volume (GMV) and annual active customers (AAC), closing FY21 with $1.2 trillion GMV, servicing 891 million customers in China and 240 million customers outside of China across its ecosystem.

Source:company

To fulfill its mission \"to make it easy to do business anywhere,\" BABA provides technology infrastructure and marketing reach to help merchants, brands, and other businesses to engage with their customers and operate in a more efficient way. BABA's businesses are comprised of core commerce, cloud computing, digital media and entertainment, and innovation initiatives. In addition, Ant Group, an unconsolidated related party, provides digital payment services and offers digital financial services for consumers and merchants on Alibaba platforms.

Alibaba has multiple revenue streams. The largest category at 87% of total FY21 revenue consists of Core Commerce businesses, which includes seven sub-categories. The largest sub-category, at 43% of FY21 revenue, is China Retail Marketplaces which consists of well-known, flagship businesses such as Taobao and Tmall as well as a large number of smaller and new seed businesses. Another sub-category of note is International Commerce Retail, which is only 5% of revenue (i.e. Alibaba is very much exposed to China) and consists of AliExpress, Lazada, and Trendyol.

Outside of Core Commerce, Alibaba Cloud gets plenty of investor attention, though it is only 8% of FY21 revenues. In 2020, Alibaba was ranked third globally and first in the Asia Pacific region in the global IaaS market, according to Gartner's April 2021 report. Bullish investors hope it will grow into Amazon's AWS.

Competitive Advantage

An ecosystem has beenbuilt around Alibaba's platforms, consisting of consumers, merchants, brands, retailers, third-party service providers, strategic alliance partners, and other businesses. The network effects of this ecosystem combined with Alibaba's considerable cash flow which can be used to strengthen the ecosystem are the primary drivers of the company's competitive advantage.

The massive amount of data flowing through the company can be captured, analyzed, and used to improve its products and services. Improvement in products and services drives user growth and deeper engagement which drivers more data generation. This creates the classic flywheel driving all large internet companies like Amazon, Facebook (FB), Alphabet (GOOG)(NASDAQ:GOOGL), and Baidu (BIDU).

Leveraging its strong network effects, big data, and ample cash flow, Alibaba could move into other growth avenues like cloud computing, media & entertainment, and online-to-offline services with a solid footing. Even if the bull case for some of these services do not play out - for example, thetorpedoingof Ant Financial by the government - Alibaba's competitive advantage remains intact and thus has plenty of shots on goal. This is why I am comfortable with Alibaba's plan to increase investments in new strategic initiatives.

Market Opportunity

BABA's China consumer-facing businesses- which generate the majority of the company's revenues and earnings- serve the Chinese consumer sector, which is a RMB 41.9 trillion (US$6.4 trillion) market for the twelve months ended March 31, 2021, according to the National Bureau of Statistics.

In FY21, BABA added 85 million customers in China, bringing the total to 811 million. 70% of the new customers were from less developed areas, which is increasingly important as Alibaba is already highly penetrated in China. For example, Taobao and Tmall e-commerce marketplaces serve 91% of Chinese internet users of 989 million as of December 2020.

In addition to penetrating less developed areas China, Alibaba could expand internationally, and offering additional services such as cloud computing, a rapidly growing business which is expected to remain in investment mode for many years.

According to IDC, China IaaS (i.e. cloud infrastructure) market reached $12 billion in 2020 and is expected to grow 40% y/y through 2022. AliCloud is the largest public cloud IaaS provider in China with 40.6% market share. In addition to IaaS, AliCloud offers differentiated industry-specific applications to customers.

While international and enterprise cloud could be nice additional drivers, the biggest incremental dollar opportunity for Alibaba, in my view, continues to be the Chinese consumer.

China is now home to over 20% of the world'smiddle classand is experiencing the fastest expansion of the middle class the world has ever seen.

In 2018, according to theCredit Suisse 2019 Global Wealth Report, China has surpassed America in having the highest number of residents in the top 10% of the world's wealth. The wealth creation in China is showing no signs of slowdown.

Source: Credit Suisse 2020 Global Wealth Report

According to the Credit Suisse 2020 Global WealthReport, in 2019, China's total wealth increased by 13.5%, driven by a nearly 40% appreciation in the equity market. Furthermore, Credit Suisse predicts that China will be the only major country to see material gains in wealth in 2020.

Yet, in terms of economic potential, China is still a baby. According to the World Bank, China's per capita GDP is only $10,261 in 2019. This is only a fraction of theUnited States' $65,298 per capital GDP. I am highly confident that this gap will close over the next 50 years or so give the current growth rate differential. China's recently announced dual circulation strategy, which emphasizes domestic consumption, could aid this convergence.

Perhaps no company in the world stands to benefit more from the rise in Chinese consumers than Alibaba.

Financials & Valuation

(Note: Unless otherwise noted, numbers are based on USD, where applicable.)

Alibaba's revenue growth rate has been variable over the years, but it has always been strong. In FY16 (ended March), revenue grew 28%, the lowest over the past 8 years, while FY18 saw revenue growth of 71%.

After a stellar FY21, which saw revenue grow 56%, FY22 is expected to grow 31%. FY22's expected revenue growth is driven by an expected 7.4% growth in Active Buyers, 13% in GMV, continued improvement of take rate, and revenue contributions from strategic investments.

Alibaba's EPS growth has similarly been highly variable, but always positive over the past 8 years. For example, in FY19, EPS grew only 8% while the previous year saw a 52% growth rate. Given the heightened investments as discussed earlier, FY22 EPS is expected to remain flattish from FY21 levels. After FY22, Alibaba should be able to grow EPS at 20% a year or higher.

Despite heavy investments in new strategic businesses, Alibaba remains highly profitable. In FY21, the company generated 24% EBITA margin, which is expected to reach a trough of 19% in FY22 before improving going forward.

Heavy investments obscure how profitable Alibaba's core businesses really are. For example, I estimate Tmall and Taobao generate around a 57% EBITA margin. Furthermore, despite heavy investments, the company's free cash flow has improved every year since at least FY15 and is expected to grow in FY22 and going forward.

Lastly, Alibaba has a fortress balance sheet with over RMB 300 billion of net cash.

Given Alibaba's incredibly strong, profitable, and rapidly growing businesses, the company is trading at an incredible value. On a forward twelve-month basis, BABA is trading at only 21 P/E, which is in line with the S&P 500, and offers an incredible 5.6% free cash flow yield. Both P/E and free cash flow yield metrics are nearits 5-year low.

Of course, there are reasons why the stock sold off, which we will go over in the Risk section. However, in my view, the stock is one of the best value in the market today.

Risks

There are two major buckets of risk associated with owning BABA shares: regulation and competition.

In April, it wasreportedthat the Ant will apply to become a financial holding company overseen by China's central bank, overhauling its business to adapt to a new era of tighter regulation for internet companies.

In addition, the company wasfined$2.8 billion by the State Administration for Market Regulation (SAMR) for monopolistic behavior. This is equivalent to 4% of Alibaba's 2019 revenue. Despite being the largest ever of such fine in China, investors should feel relieved for three reasons.

First, 4% is well below the maximum 10% SAMR could have fined. Second, Alibaba can easily pay the fine without hurting its fundamental business. Third, the fine was not coupled with requirements for the company to divest any businesses or significantly overhaul its structure. Overall, I believe the fine removes a major overhang on the stock.

Going forward, investors should shift their attention to the hyper-competitive landscape of China's e-commerce market. According to SAMR, which ironically used this data to point to Alibaba's monopoly position, Alibaba has been consistently losing share in e-commerce. In 2015, Alibaba had a 76.2% market share of China's total GMV, which went down every year since then, hitting 61.8% in 2021.

Investors are worried that more focused and agile companies like Pinduoduo (PDD) will eat Alibaba's lunch. However, I think this is too simplistic of a view and reminds me of the Alphabet bears who argue Facebook will eat Alphabet's advertising business because Facebook is growing faster. As noted earlier, China's market is massive, and there is enough room for many players, each with their own strengths.

In final analysis, despite regulatory and competitive concerns, Alibaba's core business remains incredibly profitable, it is investing to expand its ecosystem, and its competitive advantage is as strong as ever. For 30%+ revenue growth, investors are only paying the same P/E multiple as the S&P 500. In my view, Alibaba shares offer one of the best deals in the market.
","source":"seekingalpha","collect":0,"html":"\n
\n
\n\n\n\n
Alibaba: Best Deal In Town
\n\n
\n
\n
\n
\n
\nAlibaba: Best Deal In Town\n
\n\n
\n\n\n2021-05-21 17:53 GMT+8 seekingalpha\n\n\n
\n\n
\n
\n
\n
SummaryAlibaba has an incredible business: massive, fast growing, and profitable.Regulatory and competitive concerns led to a significant sell off -- and a very compelling opportunity to buy shares....
\n\nWeb Link\n\n
\n\n\n
\n
\n
\n
\n","type":0,"thumbnail":"","relate_stocks":{"09988":"阿里巴巴-W","BABA":"阿里巴巴"},"source_url":"https://seekingalpha.com/article/4430180-alibaba-best-deal-in-town","is_english":true,"share_image_url":"https://static.laohu8.com/5a36db9d73b4222bc376d24ccc48c8a4","article_id":"1152757762","content_text":"SummaryAlibaba has an incredible business: massive, fast growing, and profitable.Regulatory and competitive concerns led to a significant sell off -- and a very compelling opportunity to buy shares.Despite short-term headwinds, the company's competitive advantages and growth opportunities remain in tact.Since peaking in October 2020 at over $300 per share, Alibaba (BABA) has lost approximately one-third of its market value. Furthermore, despite heavy investments, the company's free cash flow has improved every year since at least FY15 and is expected to grow in FY22 and going forward.Lastly, Alibaba has a fortress balance sheet with over RMB 300 billion of net cash.Given Alibaba's incredibly strong, profitable, and rapidly growing businesses, the company is trading at an incredible value. On a forward twelve-month basis, BABA is trading at only 21 P/E, which is in line with the S&P 500, and offers an incredible 5.6% free cash flow yield. Both P/E and free cash flow yield metrics are nearits 5-year low.Of course, there are reasons why the stock sold off, which we will go over in the Risk section. However, in my view, the stock is one of the best value in the market today.RisksThere are two major buckets of risk associated with owning BABA shares: regulation and competition. Despite being the largest ever of such fine in China, investors should feel relieved for three reasons.First, 4% is well below the maximum 10% SAMR could have fined. Second, Alibaba can easily pay the fine without hurting its fundamental business. Third, the fine was not coupled with requirements for the company to divest any businesses or significantly overhaul its structure. Overall, I believe the fine removes a major overhang on the stock.Going forward, investors should shift their attention to the hyper-competitive landscape of China's e-commerce market. According to SAMR, which ironically used this data to point to Alibaba's monopoly position, Alibaba has been consistently losing share in e-commerce. In 2015, Alibaba had a 76.2% market share of China's total GMV, which went down every year since then, hitting 61.8% in 2021.Investors are worried that more focused and agile companies like Pinduoduo (PDD) will eat Alibaba's lunch. In my view, Alibaba shares offer one of the best deals in the market.","news_type":1},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":219,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":141392252,"gmtCreate":1625837960776,"gmtModify":1703749556140,"author":{"id":"3582162031620598","authorId":"3582162031620598","name":"Kopite","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/a5aa057c8ff69690eddf7f1e5af4b205","crmLevel":2,"crmLevelSwitch":1,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"3582162031620598","authorIdStr":"3582162031620598"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"Good to see a rebound","listText":"Good to see a rebound","text":"Good to see a rebound","images":[{"img":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/0e16f3d2dc0cfd50db99c722f8ace430","width":"1080","height":"2146"}],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":0,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":1,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/141392252","isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":92,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":1,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":156200766,"gmtCreate":1625222287755,"gmtModify":1703738671816,"author":{"id":"3582162031620598","authorId":"3582162031620598","name":"Kopite","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/a5aa057c8ff69690eddf7f1e5af4b205","crmLevel":2,"crmLevelSwitch":1,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"3582162031620598","authorIdStr":"3582162031620598"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"$Grayscale Ethereum Trust (ETH)(ETHE)$dropping tonight","listText":"$Grayscale Ethereum Trust (ETH)(ETHE)$dropping tonight","text":"$Grayscale Ethereum Trust (ETH)(ETHE)$dropping tonight","images":[{"img":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/1110b9bec7f38a99c95549e2c025cb50","width":"1080","height":"1920"}],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":0,"commentSize":2,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/156200766","isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":94,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":1,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":132232661,"gmtCreate":1622090593753,"gmtModify":1704179284014,"author":{"id":"3582162031620598","authorId":"3582162031620598","name":"Kopite","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/a5aa057c8ff69690eddf7f1e5af4b205","crmLevel":2,"crmLevelSwitch":1,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"3582162031620598","authorIdStr":"3582162031620598"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"Wow","listText":"Wow","text":"Wow","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":4,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/132232661","repostId":"2138149518","repostType":4,"repost":{"id":"2138149518","weMediaInfo":{"introduction":"Dow Jones publishes the world’s most trusted business news and financial information in a variety of media.","home_visible":0,"media_name":"Dow Jones","id":"106","head_image":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/150f88aa4d182df19190059f4a365e99"},"pubTimestamp":1622074860,"share":"https://ttm.financial/m/news/2138149518?lang=&edition=fundamental","pubTime":"2021-05-27 08:21","market":"us","language":"en","title":"Retail traders keep meme stocks short squeezed for third straight day","url":"https://stock-news.laohu8.com/highlight/detail?id=2138149518","media":"Dow Jones","summary":"GameStop and AMC surge again as retail traders see proof that short sellers are still messing with t","content":"
\n GameStop and AMC surge again as retail traders see proof that short sellers are still messing with their favorite stocks.\n
\n
These shorts are on fire.

It's not an easy business, as Offerpad's largest competitor, Zillow Group (NASDAQ:Z)(NASDAQ:ZG) recently proved when it dropped out of the segment after sustaining significant losses.Image source: Getty Images. But there are bright spots to Offerpad's different approach, and Wall Street firm JMP Securities thinks the stock has what it takes to rise by 84% in the next 12 to 18 months to $12 a share. Here's why.Being selective is key for OfferpadSince 2019, Zillow has been on a home-buying binge, purchasing 26,014 houses -- in some cases, multiple-home estates -- with the intention of reselling them quickly for a profit. This strategy is great when real estate prices are rising across the board, but when pockets of the market go soft, it can result in significant losses.Zillow recently listed up to 1,000 of its homes for sale in its five largest markets, 64% of which were reportedly priced below what it paid for them. And in Phoenix, Arizona, up to 93% of its properties are slated to be sold at a loss. In the recent third quarter, Zillow's iBuying segment lost $244 million and erased all of the gross profit the segment had made for the entire year.Part of the issue is Zillow's broad geographical footprint. It operates in, and therefore had to carefully track, up to 35 markets across the U.S. Offerpad, on the other hand, operates in 17 markets. Where Zillow's iBuying average gross profit per home peaked at $18,665, Offerpad's average peak (so far) is $31,500 per home in the second quarter of 2021.It highlights the importance of being selective, because like any asset class, home prices constantly fluctuate, and being on the wrong side can be catastrophic. For Offerpad, now that its largest competitor has moved out of the way, it has an opportunity to grow its market share in the higher-quality markets Zillow has left behind.A surge in revenueBy the close of 2021, Offerpad expects it will have sold up to 6,000 homes for the year, driving a record revenue result. In the recent third quarter, it actually increased its 2021 revenue guidance by $100 million. But in 2022, analysts expect it will do even better.Metric20202021 (Estimate)2022 (Projected)CAGRRevenue$1.06 billion$1.90 billion$3.53 billion82%Data source: Offerpad, Yahoo! Finance. CAGR = Compound Annual Growth Rate.Offerpad's gross profit per home of $22,700 in the third quarter was down from the $31,500 it generated in the second quarter. However, it was still a 48% year-over-year gain and is therefore trending in the right direction. The company attributes its success to a combination of its technology and people. Where other iBuying companies rely solely on algorithms to price a home, Offerpad allows technology to do 90% of the work, and it then uses physical intervention by its employees to inspect the home and bring the deal to a close.Additionally, it adds value by renovating houses using Offerpad-employed tradespeople, which allows it to achieve higher sale prices compared to simply flipping a property immediately. The company aims to buy, renovate, and sell each home within 100 days. The stock is cheapOfferpad's stock trades at a price-to-sales multiple of just 0.8. By comparison, and despite all of its issues, Zillow's stock trades at a multiple of 2.1 based on estimated 2021 revenue. That means Offerpad's stock would need to double from here just to trade in line with its tech-real estate peer.If Offerpad meets analysts' expectations and generates $3.53 billion in revenue next year, its multiple will shrink further to just 0.4 (assuming its stock price remains the same). That makes its recent 68% decline in share price look like an attractive opportunity going into 2022.Offerpad is expected to post a loss overall for 2021, but JMP Securities expects it will close out 2021 with a fourth-quarter profit of $0.35 per share. The firm's price target of $12 might even look conservative if Offerpad can turn profitable next year -- it's even possible it could revisit its highs near $20 per share -- but it operates in a tough business, and investors should proceed with cautious optimism.","news_type":1},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":215,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":149853578,"gmtCreate":1625716623494,"gmtModify":1703747026605,"author":{"id":"3582162031620598","authorId":"3582162031620598","name":"Kopite","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/a5aa057c8ff69690eddf7f1e5af4b205","crmLevel":2,"crmLevelSwitch":1,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"3582162031620598","authorIdStr":"3582162031620598"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"How low will it goes","listText":"How low will it goes","text":"How low will it goes","images":[{"img":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/0816ca00d2b35ffe88e44cd4e1db7768","width":"1080","height":"2233"}],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":1,"commentSize":1,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/149853578","isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":41,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":1,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":131884005,"gmtCreate":1621845858207,"gmtModify":1704363196494,"author":{"id":"3582162031620598","authorId":"3582162031620598","name":"Kopite","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/a5aa057c8ff69690eddf7f1e5af4b205","crmLevel":2,"crmLevelSwitch":1,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"3582162031620598","authorIdStr":"3582162031620598"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"Wow","listText":"Wow","text":"Wow","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":3,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/131884005","repostId":"1146017349","repostType":4,"repost":{"id":"1146017349","pubTimestamp":1621843320,"share":"https://ttm.financial/m/news/1146017349?lang=&edition=fundamental","pubTime":"2021-05-24 16:02","market":"us","language":"en","title":"ZipRecruiter Is Going Public This Month.
