hand","url":"https://stock-news.laohu8.com/highlight/detail?id=2145664330","media":"Reuters","summary":"WASHINGTON, June 22 (Reuters) - Wall Street rebounded Tuesday as Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Pow","content":"
WASHINGTON, June 22 (Reuters) - Wall Street rebounded Tuesday as Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell vowed not to raise rates too quickly as the dollar and oil gave up earlier gains.
\n
Led by the tech-heavy Nasdaq Composite , Wall Street closed Tuesday higher, bouncing back from a sell-off set off last week by a Fed policy update that suggested officials believed rates would rise more quickly to counter rising inflation.
\n
The Nasdaq closed at another record high, as top-shelf tech companies resumed their growth trajectories.
\n
The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 68.61 points, or 0.2% and the S&P 500 gained 21.65 points, or 0.51%. to 4,246.44 and the Nasdaq Composite added 111.79 points, or 0.79 percent, to 14,253.27.
\n
The MSCI world equity index , which tracks shares in 45 nations, rose 4.4 points or 0.62%.
\n
\"I really think there's a realization that this is a ripe environment: rates are still low and for stock investors, this hits a 'just right' tone,\" said Patrick Leary, chief market strategist at Incapital. \"The market is concerned about rising inflation numbers and was getting more unnerved as the Fed dismissed them until last week’s meeting.\"
\n
Testifying before Congress, Powell vowed that the Fed will not raise rates out of fear of potential rising inflation, and instead will prioritize a \"broad and inclusive\" recovery of the job market. He said recent price increases do not suggest higher rates are needed, and instead can be attributed to categories directly impacted by economic reopening.
\n
\"After the FOMC took the wind out of the reflation trade at the end of last week, that’s started to reverse over the last two days. It seems last week’s price action went too far,\" said Stephanie Roth, senior markets economist for J.P. Morgan Private Bank.
\n
Powell's remarks pushed yields on benchmark 10-year Treasuries lower, dipping to yield 1.4649% after clearing 1.5% earlier in the day.
\n
The dollar also dipped as Powell spoke, with the dollar index falling 0.20% to 91.733 . It is holding below a two-month high of 92.408 reached on Friday.
\n
Oil slid slightly after Brent rose above $75 a barrel for the first time in over two years, as OPEC+ discussed raising oil production.
\n
Brent crude futures settled down 9 cents to $74.81 a barrel after hitting a session high of $75.30 a barrel, the strongest since April 25, 2019.
\n
U.S. West Texas Intermediate $(WTI)$ crude fell 60 cents, or 0.8%, to $73.06 a barrel.
\n
Bitcoin began making a comeback of sorts, climbing back above $30,000 after hitting lows not seen since January. The cryptocurrency last traded at $32,831, but has nearly halved in value over the last three months. Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies came in for heavy selling on Monday, hurt by a tightening crackdown on trading and mining in China.
\n
Spot gold prices fell $4.8691 or 0.27%, to $1,778.08 an ounce.
","collect":0,"html":"\n
\n
\n<meta http-equiv=\"Content-Type\" content=\"text/html; Those veins are part of a network of crisscrossing veins and veinlets.
\n
The Lynx Gold Zone is now exposed 90 meters long by 25 meters wide and is open in all directions.
\n
The structural characterization by Stefan Kruse of Terrane Geoscience identified two main veins sets hosting the mineralization (Figure 3).
\n
The contact between the rhyolite and the sediments appears to be the main control of the gold-bearing quartz veins.
\n
The drill pads are prepared and ready for the drilling operations.
\n
\n
Figure 3: Two Main Veins Sets Hosting the Gold Mineralisation from O’Neil to Lynx is available at https://www.globenewswire.com/NewsRoom/AttachmentNg/6ffd1b97-f6cc-4565-ad4e-9c0737ca90b6
\n
The 2021 summer field exploration program is targeting the Williams Brook Gold property (see Figure 4) with the focus on the recent major discovery named O’Neil Gold Trend (OGT) followed by trenching over 700m with bonanza grades up to 241.0 g/t Au (see news released 2021-03-31).
\n
O’Neil Gold Trend (OGT)
\n
The O’Neil Gold Trend (OGT) is a pervasive altered and brecciated rhyolite unit hosting significant gold showings and occurences followed by trenching over a strike length of 700 meters. The geophysical signature of the OGT is expressed over 7km. The favourable unit (rhyolite) is similar and parallel to the structures hosting the “Williams 1” and “Williams 2” Gold Zones with selected drill results of 11.2 g/t over 2.8m, 2.1 g/t Au over 9.0m, and 1.0 g/t over 23m.
\n
These trends are interpreted to be related to a major rifting in the New Brunswick Geological events and could represent a low sulphidation epithermal gold system. Along the OGT, the width of the altered horizon varies from 5 to 250 meters with an average apparent thickness of 150 meters.
\n
Numerous quartz veins, quartz veinlets, stockworks and breccias were observed mostly perpendicular to the major trend and contain the gold mineralization. The OGT has never been drilled and many gold zones were discovered during the summer 2020 exploration campaign.
\n
Figure 4: Williams Brook Gold Property Main Targets Areas is available at https://www.globenewswire.com/NewsRoom/AttachmentNg/5d6d5051-91af-4512-8b8d-70ae98da9bd1
\n
High-Grade Selected Grab Samples Assays on the Prolific O’Neil Gold Trend (OGT)*:
\n
\n
\n
\n
O’Neil Gold Zone (VG**):
\n
128.5 g/t Au, 44.4 g/t Au, 38.8 g/t Au, 32.8 g/t Au, 23.1 g/t Au
\n
\n
\n
Pepitos Gold Zone (VG**):
\n
52.1 g/t Au, 16.1 g/t Au, 15.0 g/t Au, 13.1 g/t Au, 4.87 g/t Au
\n
\n
\n
Lynx Gold Zone (VG**):
\n
241.0 g/t Au, 79.8 g/t Au, 74.2 g/t Au, 63.5 g/t Au, 58.4 g/t Au
\n
\n
\n
Chubby Zone Area:
\n
3.5 g/t Au, 1.2 g/t Au, 1.2 g/t Au, 0.45 g/t Au
\n
\n
\n
Moose Gold Zone:
\n
2.4 g/t Au, 2.1 g/t Au, 1.3 g/t Au, 1.1 g/t Au
\n
\n
\n
\n
* Selected rock grab samples are selective by nature and may not represent the true grade or style ** VG: Visible Gold
\n
QUALIFIED PERSONS
\n
Dominique Gagné, PGeo, independent qualified person as defined by Canadian National Instrument 43-101 standards, has reviewed and approved the geological information reported in this news release. The mineralisation is hosted in a strongly altered rhyolite at the contact with sediments.\nFigure 1: Additional Visible Gold Discovered at Lynx Gold Zone is available at https://www.globenewswire.com/NewsRoom/AttachmentNg/737ed284-dc71-40f6-b5bd-655a34bb3944\nCurrently, stripping is in progress at Lynx with two (2) excavators allowing the cleaning and mapping of the initial discovery and expanding the overall size of the gold zone at surface (Figure 2). “Puma's systematic exploration program advances as expected and continues to deliver exceptional results.” Notes Marcel Robillard, President and CEO of Puma Exploration.\n“The Company will mobilize the drill rig on site shortly to initiate its first drilling program at the Williams Brook Gold Property.” Added Marcel Robillard\nFigure 2: Current Stripping at Lynx Gold Zone in Preparation for Drilling Operations is available at https://www.globenewswire.com/NewsRoom/AttachmentNg/6c8bc1c3-c809-4473-8bf6-27d0bf8a0bbb\nHighlights :\n\nMore visible gold (VG) with sulphides (Sp-Ga-Cpy) was found at surface in quartz veins.\nMany more quartz veins were discovered, so far, on Lynx. Those veins are part of a network of crisscrossing veins and veinlets.\nThe Lynx Gold Zone is now exposed 90 meters long by 25 meters wide and is open in all directions.\nThe structural characterization by Stefan Kruse of Terrane Geoscience identified two main veins sets hosting the mineralization (Figure 3).\nThe contact between the rhyolite and the sediments appears to be the main control of the gold-bearing quartz veins.\nThe drill pads are prepared and ready for the drilling operations.\n\nFigure 3: Two Main Veins Sets Hosting the Gold Mineralisation from O’Neil to Lynx is available at https://www.globenewswire.com/NewsRoom/AttachmentNg/6ffd1b97-f6cc-4565-ad4e-9c0737ca90b6\nThe 2021 summer field exploration program is targeting the Williams Brook Gold property (see Figure 4) with the focus on the recent major discovery named O’Neil Gold Trend (OGT) followed by trenching over 700m with bonanza grades up to 241.0 g/t Au (see news released 2021-03-31).\nO’Neil Gold Trend (OGT)\nThe O’Neil Gold Trend (OGT) is a pervasive altered and brecciated rhyolite unit hosting significant gold showings and occurences followed by trenching over a strike length of 700 meters. The geophysical signature of the OGT is expressed over 7km. The favourable unit (rhyolite) is similar and parallel to the structures hosting the “Williams 1” and “Williams 2” Gold Zones with selected drill results of 11.2 g/t over 2.8m, 2.1 g/t Au over 9.0m, and 1.0 g/t over 23m.\nThese trends are interpreted to be related to a major rifting in the New Brunswick Geological events and could represent a low sulphidation epithermal gold system. Along the OGT, the width of the altered horizon varies from 5 to 250 meters with an average apparent thickness of 150 meters.\nNumerous quartz veins, quartz veinlets, stockworks and breccias were observed mostly perpendicular to the major trend and contain the gold mineralization. The OGT has never been drilled and many gold zones were discovered during the summer 2020 exploration campaign.\nFigure 4: Williams Brook Gold Property Main Targets Areas is available at https://www.globenewswire.com/NewsRoom/AttachmentNg/5d6d5051-91af-4512-8b8d-70ae98da9bd1\nHigh-Grade Selected Grab Samples Assays on the Prolific O’Neil Gold Trend (OGT)*:\n\n\n\nO’Neil Gold Zone (VG**):\n128.5 g/t Au, 44.4 g/t Au, 38.8 g/t Au, 32.8 g/t Au, 23.1 g/t Au\n\n\nPepitos Gold Zone (VG**):\n52.1 g/t Au, 16.1 g/t Au, 15.0 g/t Au, 13.1 g/t Au, 4.87 g/t Au\n\n\nLynx Gold Zone (VG**):\n241.0 g/t Au, 79.8 g/t Au, 74.2 g/t Au, 63.5 g/t Au, 58.4 g/t Au\n\n\nChubby Zone Area:\n3.5 g/t Au, 1.2 g/t Au, 1.2 g/t Au, 0.45 g/t Au\n\n\nMoose Gold Zone:\n2.4 g/t Au, 2.1 g/t Au, 1.3 g/t Au, 1.1 g/t Au\n\n\n\n* Selected rock grab samples are selective by nature and may not represent the true grade or style ** VG: Visible Gold\nQUALIFIED PERSONS\nDominique Gagné, PGeo, independent qualified person as defined by Canadian National Instrument 43-101 standards, has reviewed and approved the geological information reported in this news release. Mr. Gagné is independent of the Company.\nQUALITY ASSURANCE/QUALITY CONTROL (QA/QC)\nRock samples were bagged, sealed and sent to the facility of ALS CHEMEX in Moncton, New Brunswick where each sample is dried, crushed, and pulped. The samples were crushed to 70% less than 2mm, riffle split off 1kg, pulverise split to better than 85% passing 75 microns (Prep-31B). A 30-gram subsplit from the resulting pulp was then subjected to a fire assay (Au-ICP21). Other screen sizes available. Duplicate 50g assay on screen undersize. Assay of entire oversize fraction.\nABOUT PUMA EXPLORATION\nPuma Exploration is a Canadian-based mineral exploration company with precious and base metals projects in early to advanced stages located in the Famous Bathurst Mining Camp (BMC) in New Brunswick, Canada. There’s a very few number of exceptions. For transactions that happen in iOS, we’re going to have to abide by their rules... but in general we’re going to look for other ways to help creators make a living and facilitating transactions that happen in other places,” Mosseri told CNBC’s “Squawk Box.”\n“So, for instance, if we could help brands and creators vet each other and find each other, they could make those transactions happen offline. For affiliate marketing, it’s real goods, not digital goods. So we’re going to try and lean in to the places creators can actually make a stable living,” he added.\nApple generally takes a30% rakefrom purchases of software or digital goods from apps distributed through the App Store. That would mean creators would eventually have to split revenue from goods sold within the app between themselves, Facebook and Apple. (Facebook hasn't said how much of a cut it will take, but did say it will be less than 30%.)\nIn order to skirt around that, Instagram could push for creators to connect offline with brands or other people, in an effort to make money off the iOS operating system. It'll be a key issue for the company, which has spent the past several yearsfeudingwith the Apple.\nThe fight for creators is heating up, with social media companies courting creators to spend more time on their platforms in order to bring in more advertising revenue. But the creators currently have the say in where they want to spend their time, so social media companies are increasingly trying to woo influencers in a way that could eventually be beneficial to both.\nCompanies are introducing things like earning commissions on marketing, direct tipping and subscription content.\n\"If we're going to be the best home for creators online, we're going to have to offer a suite of these types of monetization products because there's a lot of competition and it's heating up fast,\" Mosseri said.","news_type":1},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":841,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":9018541801,"gmtCreate":1649070412527,"gmtModify":1676534444582,"author":{"id":"3583376823531101","authorId":"3583376823531101","name":"heng95","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/57ddf2d0d21c2dec1fa469f9a0168d06","crmLevel":4,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"3583376823531101","authorIdStr":"3583376823531101"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"Twitter go ahead","listText":"Twitter go ahead","text":"Twitter go ahead","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":1,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/9018541801","isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":493,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":162897506,"gmtCreate":1624054746705,"gmtModify":1703827594575,"author":{"id":"3583376823531101","authorId":"3583376823531101","name":"heng95","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/57ddf2d0d21c2dec1fa469f9a0168d06","crmLevel":4,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"3583376823531101","authorIdStr":"3583376823531101"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"??","listText":"??","text":"??","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":1,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/162897506","repostId":"1141597711","repostType":4,"repost":{"id":"1141597711","pubTimestamp":1624029257,"share":"https://ttm.financial/m/news/1141597711?lang=&edition=fundamental","pubTime":"2021-06-18 23:14","market":"us","language":"en","title":"GEO Stock: Shares of Recent Reddit Play GEO Group Surge on CEO Buy-In","url":"https://stock-news.laohu8.com/highlight/detail?id=1141597711","media":"investorplace","summary":"GEO Group(NYSE:GEO) is heading higher on Friday following news that the company’s CEO acquired share","content":"
GEO Group(NYSE:GEO) is heading higher on Friday following news that the company’s CEO acquired shares of the stock.
\n
According to a recent filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), chairman and CEO George Zoley picked up an additional166,644 shares of GEO stock. Those veins are part of a network of crisscrossing veins and veinlets.
Visible Gold (VG) has been observed in the quartz veins (Figure 1). Neither TSX Venture Exchange nor its Regulation Services Provider (as that term is defined in the policies of the TSX Venture Exchange) accepts responsibility for the adequacy or accuracy of this release.
