It works with thousands of merchants ranging from Home Depot Inc. to independent doctors and dentists, and pitches its loans as cheaper and more responsible alternatives to credit cards.
\n
“Our goal is to build a real banking platform of the future,” Goldman Chief Executive David Solomon said in an interview. “This moves us along in that journey.”
\n
GreenSky went public in 2018 at a valuation of roughly $4 billion, part of a new crop of startups promising to reinvent how people borrow money. It has pitched itself as a technology platform connecting consumers who need help covering a major purchase and merchants eager to increase sales.
\n
But missed payments rose, exposing a business that looked more like a boom-and-bust lender than a growing software company. Or is this historically cyclical sector up to its old tricks and headed into a sustained downtrend that will rip your face off.
\n
A lot depends on your timeline but if you like to own stocks for years rather than rent them for days, the group is a buy. The chief reason: “It’s different this time.”
\n
Those are admittedly among the scariest words in investing. But the chip sector has changed so much it really is different now – in ways that suggest it is less likely to crush you.
\n
You’d be a fool to think there are no risks. I’ll go over those. But first, here are the three main reasons why the group is “safer” now – and six names favored by the half-dozen sector experts I’ve talked with over the past several days.
\n
1. The wicked witch of cyclicality is dead
\n
“Demand in the chip sector was always boom and bust, driven by product cycles,” says David Winborne, a portfolio manager at Impax Asset Management. “First PCs, then servers, then phones.” But now demand for chips has broadened across the economy so the secular growth story is more predictable, he says.
\n
Just look around you. Because of the increased “digitalization” of our lives and work, there’s greater diversity of end market demand from all angles. Think remote office services like Zoom, online shopping, cloud services, electric vehicles, 5G phones, smart factories, big data computing and even washing machines, points out Hendi Susanto, a portfolio manager and tech analyst at Gabelli Funds who is bullish on the group.
\n
“There is no aspect of the modern digital economy that can function without semiconductors,” says Motley Fool chip sector analyst John Rotonti. “That means more chips going into everything. The long-term demand is there.”
\n
He’s not kidding. Chip sector revenue will double by 2030 to $1 trillion from $465 billion in 2020, predicts William Blair analyst Greg Scolaro.
\n
All of this means the widespread supply shortages you’ve been hearing about “likely won’t be cured until sometime late next year,” says Bank of America chip sector analyst Vivek Arya. “That’s not just our view, but one confirmed by a majority of large customers.”
\n
2. The players have consolidated
\n
All up and down the production chain, from design through the various types of equipment producers to manufacturing, industry players have consolidated down into what Rotonti calls “earned” duopolies or monopolies.
\n
In chip design software, you have Cadence Design Systems and Synopsys. In production equipment, companies dominate specialized niches like ASML in extreme ultraviolet lithography (EUV). Manufacturing is dominated by Taiwan Semiconductor and Samsung Electronics.
\n
These companies earned their niche or duopoly status by being the best at what they do. This makes them interesting for investors. The consolidation also means players behave more rationally in terms of pricing and production capacity, says Rotonti.
\n
3. Profitability has improved
\n
This more rational behavior, combined with cost cutting, means profitability is now much higher than it was historically. “The economics of chip making has improved massively over past few years,” says Winbourne. Or is this historically cyclical sector up to its old tricks and headed into a sustained downtrend that will rip your face off.\nA lot depends on your timeline but if you like to own stocks for years rather than rent them for days, the group is a buy. The chief reason: “It’s different this time.”\nThose are admittedly among the scariest words in investing. But the chip sector has changed so much it really is different now – in ways that suggest it is less likely to crush you.\nYou’d be a fool to think there are no risks. I’ll go over those. But first, here are the three main reasons why the group is “safer” now – and six names favored by the half-dozen sector experts I’ve talked with over the past several days.\n1. The wicked witch of cyclicality is dead\n“Demand in the chip sector was always boom and bust, driven by product cycles,” says David Winborne, a portfolio manager at Impax Asset Management. “First PCs, then servers, then phones.” But now demand for chips has broadened across the economy so the secular growth story is more predictable, he says.\nJust look around you. Because of the increased “digitalization” of our lives and work, there’s greater diversity of end market demand from all angles. Think remote office services like Zoom, online shopping, cloud services, electric vehicles, 5G phones, smart factories, big data computing and even washing machines, points out Hendi Susanto, a portfolio manager and tech analyst at Gabelli Funds who is bullish on the group.\n“There is no aspect of the modern digital economy that can function without semiconductors,” says Motley Fool chip sector analyst John Rotonti. “That means more chips going into everything. The long-term demand is there.”\nHe’s not kidding. Chip sector revenue will double by 2030 to $1 trillion from $465 billion in 2020, predicts William Blair analyst Greg Scolaro.\nAll of this means the widespread supply shortages you’ve been hearing about “likely won’t be cured until sometime late next year,” says Bank of America chip sector analyst Vivek Arya. “That’s not just our view, but one confirmed by a majority of large customers.”\n2. The players have consolidated\nAll up and down the production chain, from design through the various types of equipment producers to manufacturing, industry players have consolidated down into what Rotonti calls “earned” duopolies or monopolies.\nIn chip design software, you have Cadence Design Systems and Synopsys. In production equipment, companies dominate specialized niches like ASML in extreme ultraviolet lithography (EUV). Manufacturing is dominated by Taiwan Semiconductor and Samsung Electronics.\nThese companies earned their niche or duopoly status by being the best at what they do. This makes them interesting for investors. The consolidation also means players behave more rationally in terms of pricing and production capacity, says Rotonti.\n3. Profitability has improved\nThis more rational behavior, combined with cost cutting, means profitability is now much higher than it was historically. “The economics of chip making has improved massively over past few years,” says Winbourne. Cash flow or EBITDA margins are often now over 30% whereas a decade ago they were in the 20% range.\nThis has implications for valuation. Though chip stocks trade at about a market multiple, they appear cheap because they are better companies, points out Lamar Villere, portfolio manager with Villere & Co. “They are not trading at a frothy multiple.”\nThe stocks to buy\nHere are six names favored by chip experts I recently checked in with.\nNew management plays\nThough Peter Karazeris, a senior equity research analyst at Thrivent, has reasons to be cautious on the group (see below), he singles out two companies whose performance may get a boost because they are under new management: Qualcomm and ON Semiconductor.\nBoth have solid profitability. Qualcomm was recently hit by one-off issues like bad weather in Texas that disrupted production, but the company has good exposure to the 5G phone trend. ON Semiconductor is expanding beyond phones into new areas like autos, industrial and the Internet of Things connected-device space.\nA data center and gaming play\nKarazeris also singles out Nvidia, which gets a continuing boost from its exposure to data center and gaming device chip demand — because of its superior design prowess.\nDesign tool companies\nSpeaking of design, when companies like Qualcomm and NVIDIA want to design chips, they turn to the design tools supplied by Cadence Design Systems and Synopsys.\nTheir software-based design tools help chip innovators create the blueprint for their chips, explains Rotonti at Motley Fool, who singles out these names. “They are not the fastest growers in the world, but they have good profit margins.” They also dominate the space.\nAn EUV play\nTo put those blueprints onto silicon in the early stages of chip production, companies like Taiwan Semiconductor and Samsung turn to ASML. Its machines use tiny bursts of light to stencil chip designs onto silicon wafers, in a process called extreme ultraviolet lithography. “No one else has figured out how to do it,” says Rotonti.\nIn other words, it has a monopoly position in supplying machines that do this – which are necessary for any company that wants to make leading edge chips.\nRisks\nHere are some of the chief risks for chip sector investors to watch.\nOversupply\nChip production has become politicized. The U.S. wants more production at home so it is not vulnerable to disruptions in Chinese supply chains. China wants to make 70% of the chips it uses by 2025, up from 5% now, says Winborne.\nThe upshot here is that there’s lots of government support to boost manufacturing – so there will be much more of it. The risk is oversupply at some point in the future. This might also create a pull forward in chip equipment purchases — leading to a lull down the road which could hurt sales and margin trends at equipment makers.\nNext, big tech companies like Alphabet,Apple and Ammazon.com are all doing their own chip design, which threatens specialized chip companies that do the same thing.\nQuantum computing\nComputers using chip designs based on quantum physics instead of traditional semiconductor architectures have superior performance, points out Scolaro at William Blair. “While it probably won’t become mainstream for at least another five years, quantum computing has the potential to transform everything from technology to healthcare.”\nA disturbing signal\nA blend of global purchasing managers (PMI) indexes peaked in April and then decelerated for three months. In Gengjia Valley Village of Huancheng Town, experimental fields showcase vast stretches of oat grass swaying in the breeze; within the intelligent greenhouses of Guanying Village in Mubo Town, fruits and vegetables glisten with freshness; and at the edible mushroom cultivation base in Chedao Town, mushroom logs burst with plump fungi, signaling another prosperous year.
\n
From transforming \"winter idle fields\" into \"income-generating lands\" to deeply embedding smart agriculture, Huan County employs technology as its brush and innovation as its ink, continuously strengthening food security foundations and cultivating distinctive industries while steadily advancing on the path of high-quality agricultural development.
\n
**Technology as the \"Golden Key\" Opens New Revenue Streams in Fertile Fields**
\n
\"Previously, land would remain idle after autumn harvest, but now we plant oat grass, bringing another income stream by year-end!\" exclaimed farmers in Gengjia Valley Village, Huancheng Town, observing their thriving oat grass.
\n
This year, Huan County implemented a planting project centered on \"technology-driven experimental replanting demonstration leadership\" in the village. Through precise control of sowing density and soil fertility, utilizing oat grass's short growth cycle characteristics, the project skillfully bridges the gap between wheat and corn harvest and sowing periods, revitalizing previously idle autumn and winter lands.
\n
Currently, the experimental field's oat grass has entered its critical growth phase, not only providing replicable planting models for surrounding farmers but also supplying quality forage for local livestock industries, successfully expanding income channels.
\n
Today, new productive forces are becoming the core driving force for high-quality agricultural development. Huan County uses technology as its engine, deeply integrating facility agriculture with modern technology to construct a new agricultural production system characterized by high technology, high efficiency, and high quality. This approach not only promotes steady increases in vegetable and fruit production and continuous quality optimization but also drives farmer income growth, significantly enhancing agricultural quality and efficiency while unleashing tremendous development potential.
\n
With greenhouses maintaining year-round greenery and continuous vegetable and fruit production, seasonal produce is available throughout the year.
\n
At the modern agricultural demonstration park in Guanying Village, Mubo Town, intelligent ecological vegetable greenhouses function like \"smart sunrooms,\" quietly transforming traditional planting methods. These greenhouses feature \"greenhouse drizzle\" intelligent control systems, allowing farmers to remotely monitor and adjust key indicators such as temperature, humidity, and lighting through smartphones. This effectively reduces heat loss and achieves precise control of rolling shutters, temperature and humidity, and nitrogen-phosphorus-potassium elements, continuously providing ideal growing environments for crops.
\n
This year, leveraging intelligent greenhouse technology, Huan County achieved year-round vegetable cultivation and off-season marketing. The county planted 102,000 acres of vegetables, producing 77,000 tons. The facility vegetable industry belt formed along National Highway 211 is becoming a new \"oasis\" that enriches people's \"vegetable baskets\" and fills farmers' \"money bags.\"
\n
**Grain Production as the \"Ballast Stone\" Builds Strong Security Foundations**
\n
Grain production forms the foundation of Huan County's agricultural development. To ensure full \"rice bowls,\" the county implemented the Helianwan Irrigation District's efficient water-saving irrigation project and the Tianshuibao Irrigation District's supporting construction and modernization transformation project, continuously optimizing cultivation conditions. The county promoted film mulching and double-ridge furrow sowing technology across 1.2 million acres annually, with grain crop planting area reaching 2.4021 million acres, establishing a solid foundation for stable and increased grain production.
\n
In the fields of Zhaozhang Village, Tianshui Town, 3,100 acres of buckwheat are in full bloom, with red and white flowers adorning branches. Mountain breezes create gentle flower waves while bees buzz busily, attracting numerous beekeepers from afar. As a traditional crop in Huan County, buckwheat not only adapts well to local conditions but also possesses excellent economic and nutritional value, fostering the development of processing enterprises like Rongkang Grain and Oil, which focus on developing products such as buckwheat noodles and buckwheat hazelnut products.
\n
\"As a major grain-producing county, Huan County continues to increase agricultural technology investment while promoting soybean and corn yield improvements and demonstrating strip intercropping technology. We implement key measures like 'one spray, multiple promotions' to increase grain production, strengthen green prevention and control of crop diseases and pests, and comprehensively promote high-quality agricultural development,\" stated Zhang Zhiping, Party Group Member and Deputy Director of Huan County's Agriculture and Rural Affairs Bureau.
\n
Currently, with autumn grain harvest in sight, the fields overflow with confidence and anticipation. Under the guidance of \"compensating small autumn losses with big autumn gains,\" Huan County has promptly adjusted planting structures and actively expanded replanting of drought-resistant crops with short growing periods. This year, the county's potato planting area reached 300,000 acres, with minor grains expanding to 340,000 acres, effectively stabilizing total grain production while ensuring farmer benefits.
\n
In enhancing farmland quality and efficiency, Huan County adheres to the deep integration of \"good fields, good methods, good technology, and good machinery,\" advancing high-standard farmland construction and grain production transformation and upgrading in an integrated manner. By establishing a full-cycle closed-loop management mechanism for \"planning, construction, management, and utilization\" and conducting regular \"review\" work, the county has effectively addressed prominent issues such as high-standard farmland being \"built but not solid, built but not planted, built but not managed.\" Currently, the 2025 construction task of 220,000 acres of high-standard farmland has begun implementation, with preliminary design fully completed and projects progressing steadily according to plan, providing solid guarantees for firmly securing food security baseline.
\n
**Distinctive \"New Engine\" Drives Industrial Integration toward Prosperity**
\n
At the Sanyuan Bidirectional Edible Mushroom Cultivation Base in Chedao Town, 45 four-season mushroom cultivation greenhouses are neatly arranged, presenting a bustling production scene. The base has invested a cumulative 7.23 million yuan, deploying 420,000 mushroom logs this year, with expected fresh mushroom production of 700,000 pounds and total annual output value potentially exceeding 4 million yuan.
\n
This represents not only output value improvement but also an important milestone in Huan County's edible mushroom industry moving toward scale and modernization. The base includes supporting construction of mushroom preservation facilities and drying workshops, integrating cultivation, drying, packaging, and sales functions, effectively reducing production costs, enhancing overall efficiency, and creating the Sanyuan Bidirectional Green Circular Agriculture Demonstration Base. This industry provides over 5,000 labor opportunities annually for locals, generating labor income exceeding 1 million yuan, bringing tangible benefits to local communities.
\n
This represents merely one example of Huan County's distinctive agricultural development. In recent years, based on resource endowments, Huan County has used the \"planting-breeding-mushroom\" three-element bidirectional circulation model as its foundation, creating a \"one primary, multiple secondary, diversified income\" modern agricultural system, injecting new momentum into rural revitalization.
\n
More remarkably, the base innovatively implements a \"planting-breeding-mushroom-fertilizer\" circulation model, purchasing large quantities of corn stalks, cattle and sheep manure, and other agricultural waste from surrounding farmers as raw materials. After mushroom production, the spent logs can be returned to fields as fertilizer. This model both addresses environmental pollution issues and achieves resource recycling, truly making agriculture \"green.\"
\n
Meanwhile, in Hudong Town, Hongde Town, and Xiaonan Valley Township, continuous traditional Chinese medicine plantations are thriving. \"Traditional Chinese medicine has become the 'golden treasure' for increasing people's income. We focus on traditional Chinese medicine characteristic industry development, continuously optimizing industrial structure and promoting transformation from traditional crops to high-efficiency economic crops. The township has established a 30,000-acre standardized Bupleurum intercropping demonstration base,\" introduced Chang Shiren, Deputy Township Chief of Xiaonan Valley Township.
\n
Viewing the entire county, a distinctive agricultural development pattern has emerged: focusing on Huancheng Town, Hudong Town, and Xiaonan Valley Township, 10,000-acre traditional Chinese medicine demonstration zones have been established; leveraging smart container mushroom factories, 146 mushroom production greenhouses have been built, driving coordinated development of six production bases including Wuliqiao Village and Guanying Village, forming a \"one core leading, six locations coordinating\" edible mushroom industry cluster. These industries are becoming Huan County's \"new engines\" for agricultural quality and efficiency improvement and farmer income growth.
\n
\"Huan County focuses on distinctive industries such as 'fruits, vegetables, medicine, grains, potatoes, and mushrooms,' adhering to the principle of 'adapting to local conditions and implementing differentiated policies.' Through reward-instead-of-subsidy and contract purchase methods, we precisely support distinctive industry development, making Huan County agriculture truly present a vibrant scene of 'a hundred flowers blooming,'\" Zhang Zhiping stated.
","collect":0,"html":"\n
\n
\n\n\n\n
Huan County's Modern Agricultural Transformation: A Comprehensive Overview of High-Quality Development
\n\n
\n
\n
\n
\n
\nHuan County's Modern Agricultural Transformation: A Comprehensive Overview of High-Quality Development\n
\n\n
\n\n\n\n\n\n

\n\n
\n
Deep News
\n
2025-09-23 09:31
\n
\n\n\n\n\n
\n\n
\n
\n
Agricultural Innovation Drives Prosperity: Huan County's Path to Modern Farming Excellence
\n
As autumn arrives with clear skies and abundant harvests, Huan County's rural landscape transforms from summer's deep green to brilliant golden hues, radiating the joy of harvest season. In Gengjia Valley Village of Huancheng Town, experimental fields showcase vast stretches of oat grass swaying in the breeze; within the intelligent greenhouses of Guanying Village in Mubo Town, fruits and vegetables glisten with freshness; and at the edible mushroom cultivation base in Chedao Town, mushroom logs burst with plump fungi, signaling another prosperous year.\nFrom transforming \"winter idle fields\" into \"income-generating lands\" to deeply embedding smart agriculture, Huan County employs technology as its brush and innovation as its ink, continuously strengthening food security foundations and cultivating distinctive industries while steadily advancing on the path of high-quality agricultural development.\n**Technology as the \"Golden Key\" Opens New Revenue Streams in Fertile Fields**\n\"Previously, land would remain idle after autumn harvest, but now we plant oat grass, bringing another income stream by year-end!\" exclaimed farmers in Gengjia Valley Village, Huancheng Town, observing their thriving oat grass.\nThis year, Huan County implemented a planting project centered on \"technology-driven experimental replanting demonstration leadership\" in the village. Through precise control of sowing density and soil fertility, utilizing oat grass's short growth cycle characteristics, the project skillfully bridges the gap between wheat and corn harvest and sowing periods, revitalizing previously idle autumn and winter lands.\nCurrently, the experimental field's oat grass has entered its critical growth phase, not only providing replicable planting models for surrounding farmers but also supplying quality forage for local livestock industries, successfully expanding income channels.\nToday, new productive forces are becoming the core driving force for high-quality agricultural development. Huan County uses technology as its engine, deeply integrating facility agriculture with modern technology to construct a new agricultural production system characterized by high technology, high efficiency, and high quality. This approach not only promotes steady increases in vegetable and fruit production and continuous quality optimization but also drives farmer income growth, significantly enhancing agricultural quality and efficiency while unleashing tremendous development potential.\nWith greenhouses maintaining year-round greenery and continuous vegetable and fruit production, seasonal produce is available throughout the year.\nAt the modern agricultural demonstration park in Guanying Village, Mubo Town, intelligent ecological vegetable greenhouses function like \"smart sunrooms,\" quietly transforming traditional planting methods. These greenhouses feature \"greenhouse drizzle\" intelligent control systems, allowing farmers to remotely monitor and adjust key indicators such as temperature, humidity, and lighting through smartphones. This effectively reduces heat loss and achieves precise control of rolling shutters, temperature and humidity, and nitrogen-phosphorus-potassium elements, continuously providing ideal growing environments for crops.\nThis year, leveraging intelligent greenhouse technology, Huan County achieved year-round vegetable cultivation and off-season marketing. The county planted 102,000 acres of vegetables, producing 77,000 tons. The facility vegetable industry belt formed along National Highway 211 is becoming a new \"oasis\" that enriches people's \"vegetable baskets\" and fills farmers' \"money bags.\"\n**Grain Production as the \"Ballast Stone\" Builds Strong Security Foundations**\nGrain production forms the foundation of Huan County's agricultural development. To ensure full \"rice bowls,\" the county implemented the Helianwan Irrigation District's efficient water-saving irrigation project and the Tianshuibao Irrigation District's supporting construction and modernization transformation project, continuously optimizing cultivation conditions. The county promoted film mulching and double-ridge furrow sowing technology across 1.2 million acres annually, with grain crop planting area reaching 2.4021 million acres, establishing a solid foundation for stable and increased grain production.\nIn the fields of Zhaozhang Village, Tianshui Town, 3,100 acres of buckwheat are in full bloom, with red and white flowers adorning branches. Mountain breezes create gentle flower waves while bees buzz busily, attracting numerous beekeepers from afar. As a traditional crop in Huan County, buckwheat not only adapts well to local conditions but also possesses excellent economic and nutritional value, fostering the development of processing enterprises like Rongkang Grain and Oil, which focus on developing products such as buckwheat noodles and buckwheat hazelnut products.\n\"As a major grain-producing county, Huan County continues to increase agricultural technology investment while promoting soybean and corn yield improvements and demonstrating strip intercropping technology. We implement key measures like 'one spray, multiple promotions' to increase grain production, strengthen green prevention and control of crop diseases and pests, and comprehensively promote high-quality agricultural development,\" stated Zhang Zhiping, Party Group Member and Deputy Director of Huan County's Agriculture and Rural Affairs Bureau.\nCurrently, with autumn grain harvest in sight, the fields overflow with confidence and anticipation. Under the guidance of \"compensating small autumn losses with big autumn gains,\" Huan County has promptly adjusted planting structures and actively expanded replanting of drought-resistant crops with short growing periods. This year, the county's potato planting area reached 300,000 acres, with minor grains expanding to 340,000 acres, effectively stabilizing total grain production while ensuring farmer benefits.\nIn enhancing farmland quality and efficiency, Huan County adheres to the deep integration of \"good fields, good methods, good technology, and good machinery,\" advancing high-standard farmland construction and grain production transformation and upgrading in an integrated manner. By establishing a full-cycle closed-loop management mechanism for \"planning, construction, management, and utilization\" and conducting regular \"review\" work, the county has effectively addressed prominent issues such as high-standard farmland being \"built but not solid, built but not planted, built but not managed.\" Currently, the 2025 construction task of 220,000 acres of high-standard farmland has begun implementation, with preliminary design fully completed and projects progressing steadily according to plan, providing solid guarantees for firmly securing food security baseline.\n**Distinctive \"New Engine\" Drives Industrial Integration toward Prosperity**\nAt the Sanyuan Bidirectional Edible Mushroom Cultivation Base in Chedao Town, 45 four-season mushroom cultivation greenhouses are neatly arranged, presenting a bustling production scene. The base has invested a cumulative 7.23 million yuan, deploying 420,000 mushroom logs this year, with expected fresh mushroom production of 700,000 pounds and total annual output value potentially exceeding 4 million yuan.\nThis represents not only output value improvement but also an important milestone in Huan County's edible mushroom industry moving toward scale and modernization. The base includes supporting construction of mushroom preservation facilities and drying workshops, integrating cultivation, drying, packaging, and sales functions, effectively reducing production costs, enhancing overall efficiency, and creating the Sanyuan Bidirectional Green Circular Agriculture Demonstration Base. This industry provides over 5,000 labor opportunities annually for locals, generating labor income exceeding 1 million yuan, bringing tangible benefits to local communities.\nThis represents merely one example of Huan County's distinctive agricultural development. In recent years, based on resource endowments, Huan County has used the \"planting-breeding-mushroom\" three-element bidirectional circulation model as its foundation, creating a \"one primary, multiple secondary, diversified income\" modern agricultural system, injecting new momentum into rural revitalization.\nMore remarkably, the base innovatively implements a \"planting-breeding-mushroom-fertilizer\" circulation model, purchasing large quantities of corn stalks, cattle and sheep manure, and other agricultural waste from surrounding farmers as raw materials. After mushroom production, the spent logs can be returned to fields as fertilizer. This model both addresses environmental pollution issues and achieves resource recycling, truly making agriculture \"green.\"\nMeanwhile, in Hudong Town, Hongde Town, and Xiaonan Valley Township, continuous traditional Chinese medicine plantations are thriving. \"Traditional Chinese medicine has become the 'golden treasure' for increasing people's income. We focus on traditional Chinese medicine characteristic industry development, continuously optimizing industrial structure and promoting transformation from traditional crops to high-efficiency economic crops. The township has established a 30,000-acre standardized Bupleurum intercropping demonstration base,\" introduced Chang Shiren, Deputy Township Chief of Xiaonan Valley Township.\nViewing the entire county, a distinctive agricultural development pattern has emerged: focusing on Huancheng Town, Hudong Town, and Xiaonan Valley Township, 10,000-acre traditional Chinese medicine demonstration zones have been established; leveraging smart container mushroom factories, 146 mushroom production greenhouses have been built, driving coordinated development of six production bases including Wuliqiao Village and Guanying Village, forming a \"one core leading, six locations coordinating\" edible mushroom industry cluster. These industries are becoming Huan County's \"new engines\" for agricultural quality and efficiency improvement and farmer income growth.\n\"Huan County focuses on distinctive industries such as 'fruits, vegetables, medicine, grains, potatoes, and mushrooms,' adhering to the principle of 'adapting to local conditions and implementing differentiated policies.' Through reward-instead-of-subsidy and contract purchase methods, we precisely support distinctive industry development, making Huan County agriculture truly present a vibrant scene of 'a hundred flowers blooming,'\" Zhang Zhiping stated.","news_type":1,"symbols_score_info":{"XCmain":1,"ZCmain":1}},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":855,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":804752829,"gmtCreate":1627982908061,"gmtModify":1703499067288,"author":{"id":"3583494083549409","authorId":"3583494083549409","name":"TokHao","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/8a94d0dc6dec5e80c0617fc6e06bce58","crmLevel":11,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"authorIdStr":"3583494083549409","idStr":"3583494083549409"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"Can Tesla fight wins China EV ???","listText":"Can Tesla fight wins China EV ???","text":"Can Tesla fight wins China EV ???","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":4,"commentSize":3,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/804752829","repostId":"1183916574","repostType":4,"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":717,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":813898364,"gmtCreate":1630164192258,"gmtModify":1676530237010,"author":{"id":"3583494083549409","authorId":"3583494083549409","name":"TokHao","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/8a94d0dc6dec5e80c0617fc6e06bce58","crmLevel":11,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"authorIdStr":"3583494083549409","idStr":"3583494083549409"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"Sure or not ??","listText":"Sure or not ??","text":"Sure or not ??","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":5,"commentSize":2,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/813898364","repostId":"2162733980","repostType":4,"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":834,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":834411623,"gmtCreate":1629818244662,"gmtModify":1676530142031,"author":{"id":"3583494083549409","authorId":"3583494083549409","name":"TokHao","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/8a94d0dc6dec5e80c0617fc6e06bce58","crmLevel":11,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"authorIdStr":"3583494083549409","idStr":"3583494083549409"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"Grow faster 0.1%. By the end of the third quarter, all of Disney's global theme parks had reopened, including Disneyland Paris and Disneyland in California, which had still been closed earlier this year.
\n
Though foot traffic at the parks has been below pre-pandemic levels, the reopenings have enabled the profit engine of Disney's overall business to resume operations more robustly. Disney's parks, experiences, and consumer products business segment is expected to swing to an operating profit of just over $41 million during the quarter, recovering after posting a loss in the same period last year.
\n
Costs related to addressing pandemic-related health concerns are still expected to be high for Disney, however. Last quarter, Disney said it expected to spend around $1 billion on safety measures for employees, talent and guests in fiscal 2021.
\n
But for investors, the company's nearly two-year-old streaming business Disney+ is crucial and will be under the spotlight during Disney's earnings release and call on Thursday. Over the course of the pandemic, growth at Disney's streaming platform Disney+ helped placate investors as the company's lucrative parks and resorts saw business dry up.
\n
But as more consumers got vaccinated and went back outdoors, growth at Disney+ began to slow. In May, Disney+ posted its weakest quarter for user growth since its debut, with new subscribers rising by 8.7 million. Still, company has grown notably since launching in late 2019, with subscribers breaking above the 100 million mark in less than two years.
\n
The slowdown in streaming has not been limited to Disney. Netflix, the incumbent leader among U.S.-based internet streaming platforms, added just 1.5 million new members in the second quarter of this year. That fell sharply from the more than 10 million paid users added in the same quarter last year, when consumers turned in droves to find entertainment during the height of stay-in-place orders.
\n
For Disney, Wall Street analysts expect Disney+ to report another 8.2 million users joined in the third quarter, bringing the total number of subscribers to about 112.8 million. That would compare to 209.2 million at Netflix.
\n
Disney's broad library of content on Disney+ and its other streaming platforms have been the key to its success to date, and updates on its content portfolio are set to be closely watched. ESPN+ grew subscribers by 75% year-over-year last quarter to 13.8 million, with a stronger lineup of live sports helping boost viewership. And the company also announced two new rights deals during its earnings call last quarter, including an enhanced deal with Major League Baseball until 2028 and a new deal with LaLiga, the men’s professional soccer division of the Spanish soccer league.
\n
In terms of films, Marvel names including \"Loki\" and \"Black Widow\" saw success both in theatrical releases and on Disney+, offering another major positive for Disney's business during the quarter.
","source":"lsy1612507957220","collect":0,"html":"\n
\n
\n<meta http-equiv=\"Content-Type\" content=\"text/html;
