Inflation and higher interest rates made the sector's pricier "hypergrowth" stocks look a lot less appealing, and many investors rotated toward cheaper value plays.</p><p>However, investors shouldn't recklessly dump all of their tech stocks. Instead, they should simply be more selective and focus on higher-yielding tech stocks with stable profits and low valuations instead.</p><p>Here are three rock-solid companies that fit this description: <b><a href=\"https://laohu8.com/S/STX\">Seagate Technology</a>, <a href=\"https://laohu8.com/S/QCOM\">Qualcomm</a>, and <a href=\"https://laohu8.com/S/AVGO\">Broadcom</a>.</b></p><h2>1. <b><a href=\"https://laohu8.com/S/STX\">Seagate Technology</a></b></h2><p>Seagate is the world's largest manufacturer of platter-based, hard disk drives (HDDs). Over the past few years, HDDs have faced a lot of competition from flash-based, solid-state drives (SSDs), which are smaller, faster, more power efficient, and less prone to damage.</p><p>Seagate's rival <b>Western Digital</b> expanded into first-party flash chips and SSDs to counter that secular trend. However, Seagate doubled down on HDDs and focused on selling cheaper and higher-capacity drives to cost-conscious enterprise and data center customers instead.</p><p>That conservative strategy enabled Seagate to generate stable growth and plenty of cash, which it mostly returned to its investors through big buybacks and dividends. Seagate reduced its share count by 26% over the past five years, and it's paid continuous dividends for over a decade.</p><p>Seagate pays a forward dividend yield of 3.3%, and it's raised its payout annually for three straight years. It spent just 43% of its free cash flow (FCF) on those payments over the past 12 months, which gives it plenty of room for future hikes.</p><p>Seagate faces some supply-chain challenges and a post-lockdown deceleration in PC sales, but it's offsetting those headwinds with the robust growth of its cloud and data center businesses. As a result, analysts still expect its revenue and earnings to grow 12% and 58%, respectively, in fiscal 2022 (which ends in July). Those are impressive growth rates for a stock that trades at just nine times forward earnings.</p><h2>2. <b><a href=\"https://laohu8.com/S/QCOM\">Qualcomm</a></b></h2><p>Qualcomm is <a href=\"https://laohu8.com/S/AONE.U\">one</a> of the world's largest producers of mobile baseband modems and system-on-chips (SoCs), which conveniently bundle together a CPU, GPU, and a modem in a single package for smartphone makers. It also owns a massive portfolio of wireless patents, which entitles it to a cut of every smartphone sold worldwide -- even those that don't use its chips.</p><p>Qualcomm's stock shed a quarter of its value this year as investors fretted over decelerating smartphone sales and other macroeconomic headwinds. However, that sell-off reduced Qualcomm's forward price-to-earnings ratio to just 13 and boosted its forward dividend yield to about 2%.</p><p>Qualcomm spent 41% of its FCF on its dividends over the past 12 months, and has raised its dividend annually for nearly two decades. It also reduced its share count by 24% over the past five years.</p><p>Investors might be worried about Qualcomm's near-term challenges, but the chipmaker continues to grow its share of the premium smartphone market against its main rival <b>MediaTek</b> as it returns most of its FCF (74% last year) to investors through big buybacks and dividends.</p><p>Analysts still expect its revenue and earnings to grow 27% and 39%, respectively, this year, before cooling off in 2023. Qualcomm has weathered plenty of cyclical downturns before, so I think it's still the right time to accumulate more shares of this out-of-favor chipmaker.</p><h2>3. <b><a href=\"https://laohu8.com/S/AVGO\">Broadcom</a></b></h2><p>Broadcom is often recognized as a major supplier for <b>Apple</b>, which accounted for about 20% of its revenue last year. However, the company also produces a wide range of chips for the data center, networking, software, storage, and industrial markets. In addition, it generates nearly a quarter of its revenue from infrastructure software.</p><p>Today's Broadcom was previously known as Avago Technologies, a Singapore-based chipmaker that acquired the original Broadcom and assumed its brand in 2016. It continued to grow both organically and through big acquisitions -- which included the network switch maker Brocade in 2016, the enterprise software provider CA Technologies in 2018, and Symantec's enterprise security business in 2019.</p><p>Between 2016 and 2021, Broadcom's annual revenue grew at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 15.7% as its adjusted earnings per share (EPS) increased at a CAGR of 19.6%. Inflation and higher interest rates made the sector's pricier \"hypergrowth\" stocks look a lot less appealing, and many investors rotated toward cheaper value plays. However, investors shouldn't recklessly dump all of their tech stocks. Instead, they should simply be more selective and focus on higher-yielding tech stocks with stable profits and low valuations instead. Here are three rock-solid companies that fit this description: Seagate Technology, Qualcomm, and Broadcom.1. Seagate TechnologySeagate is the world's largest manufacturer of platter-based, hard disk drives (HDDs). Over the past few years, HDDs have faced a lot of competition from flash-based, solid-state drives (SSDs), which are smaller, faster, more power efficient, and less prone to damage.Seagate's rival Western Digital expanded into first-party flash chips and SSDs to counter that secular trend. However, Seagate doubled down on HDDs and focused on selling cheaper and higher-capacity drives to cost-conscious enterprise and data center customers instead. That conservative strategy enabled Seagate to generate stable growth and plenty of cash, which it mostly returned to its investors through big buybacks and dividends. Seagate reduced its share count by 26% over the past five years, and it's paid continuous dividends for over a decade.Seagate pays a forward dividend yield of 3.3%, and it's raised its payout annually for three straight years. It spent just 43% of its free cash flow (FCF) on those payments over the past 12 months, which gives it plenty of room for future hikes.Seagate faces some supply-chain challenges and a post-lockdown deceleration in PC sales, but it's offsetting those headwinds with the robust growth of its cloud and data center businesses. As a result, analysts still expect its revenue and earnings to grow 12% and 58%, respectively, in fiscal 2022 (which ends in July). Those are impressive growth rates for a stock that trades at just nine times forward earnings.2. QualcommQualcomm is one of the world's largest producers of mobile baseband modems and system-on-chips (SoCs), which conveniently bundle together a CPU, GPU, and a modem in a single package for smartphone makers. It also owns a massive portfolio of wireless patents, which entitles it to a cut of every smartphone sold worldwide -- even those that don't use its chips.Qualcomm's stock shed a quarter of its value this year as investors fretted over decelerating smartphone sales and other macroeconomic headwinds. However, that sell-off reduced Qualcomm's forward price-to-earnings ratio to just 13 and boosted its forward dividend yield to about 2%.Qualcomm spent 41% of its FCF on its dividends over the past 12 months, and has raised its dividend annually for nearly two decades. It also reduced its share count by 24% over the past five years.Investors might be worried about Qualcomm's near-term challenges, but the chipmaker continues to grow its share of the premium smartphone market against its main rival MediaTek as it returns most of its FCF (74% last year) to investors through big buybacks and dividends.Analysts still expect its revenue and earnings to grow 27% and 39%, respectively, this year, before cooling off in 2023. Qualcomm has weathered plenty of cyclical downturns before, so I think it's still the right time to accumulate more shares of this out-of-favor chipmaker.3. BroadcomBroadcom is often recognized as a major supplier for Apple, which accounted for about 20% of its revenue last year. However, the company also produces a wide range of chips for the data center, networking, software, storage, and industrial markets. In addition, it generates nearly a quarter of its revenue from infrastructure software.Today's Broadcom was previously known as Avago Technologies, a Singapore-based chipmaker that acquired the original Broadcom and assumed its brand in 2016. It continued to grow both organically and through big acquisitions -- which included the network switch maker Brocade in 2016, the enterprise software provider CA Technologies in 2018, and Symantec's enterprise security business in 2019.Between 2016 and 2021, Broadcom's annual revenue grew at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 15.7% as its adjusted earnings per share (EPS) increased at a CAGR of 19.6%. Analysts expect its revenue and EPS to grow another 16% and 27%, respectively, this year. Those growth rates are impressive, but Broadcom still trades at just 17 times forward earnings. It also pays a high forward dividend yield of 2.8%, and it's raised its payout annually for over a decade. The company spent just 47% of its FCF on its dividends over the past 12 months, and it remains committed to spending about half of its prior-year FCF on dividends this year.Broadcom's shareholder-friendly measures, well-diversified business, and low valuation all make it a reliable investment for this volatile market.","news_type":1},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":330,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0}],"hots":[{"id":885675824,"gmtCreate":1631792999268,"gmtModify":1676530636813,"author":{"id":"4088479336191950","authorId":"4088479336191950","name":"Tj_","avatar":"https://static.laohu8.com/default-avatar.jpg","crmLevel":2,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"4088479336191950","authorIdStr":"4088479336191950"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"great","listText":"great","text":"great","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":7,"commentSize":2,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/885675824","repostId":"2167351025","repostType":4,"repost":{"id":"2167351025","pubTimestamp":1631793049,"share":"https://ttm.financial/m/news/2167351025?lang=&edition=fundamental","pubTime":"2021-09-16 19:50","market":"us","language":"en","title":"3 Long-Term Investments You'll Thank Yourself for Later","url":"https://stock-news.laohu8.com/highlight/detail?id=2167351025","media":"Motley Fool","summary":"Sometimes the best thing you can do for your portfolio is just leave some of its holdings alone... for years at a time.","content":"<p>Got patience? Plenty of people like to think they're committed to their holdings for the long haul. When things get dicey, though, a sizable swath of this crowd bails out of these investments.</p>\n<p>That can be a big mistake, of course. Most people struggle to see the market's true short-term highs and lows, meaning they get out (or in) at less than ideal times. Often, the best decision you can make is deciding to do nothing at all, taking your lumps on faith those beaten-down stocks will eventually recover.</p>\n<p>With that as the backdrop, here's a closer look at three long-term investments you can actually commit to for the long term. Each <a href=\"https://laohu8.com/S/AONE.U\">one</a> is built not only to last, but to thrive no matter what the future has in store.</p>\n<h2>1. Alphabet</h2>\n<p>Sure, it's technically a consumer tech name, and technology is generally prone to being made obsolete by, well, newer technologies. If there were ever a tech name shielded from the never-ending cycle of improved tech, though, it's likely Google parent<b> Alphabet</b> (NASDAQ:GOOG) (NASDAQ:GOOGL).</p>\n<p>Think about it. While there was a time when consumers clearly functioned without either one, the internet and smartphones have become de facto centerpieces of our lives. Chances are, we're not going to give them up now. And Alphabet is the powerhouse on both fronts, with Google fielding 92% of the world's web searches (according to numbers from GlobalStats' statcounter) and its Android mobile operating system installed on nearly 73% of the world's mobile devices. In fact, when broadening this look to all consumer tech devices like notebooks and tablets, there are more Android-powered devices than there are machines running <b>Microsoft</b> Windows.</p>\n<p>This reach of course positions Google as a gatekeeper to the world wide web, giving Alphabet a variety of ways to monetize all of its platforms.</p>\n<p>And it's done so quite well. The company's year-over-year revenue comparison has fallen in only two quarters since 2006, and one of those quarters was the second quarter of last year when the COVID-19 pandemic was rapidly spreading. In fact, we've also only seen the company's quarterly top line fall twice on a sequential basis -- from the previous calendar quarter -- for the same time frame, and again, one of those two instances was linked to COVID-19. It's all due to consumers' habitual reliance on Google and/or their Android devices.</p>\n<h2>2. Walt Disney</h2>\n<p>Entertainment giant <b>Walt Disney</b> (NYSE:DIS) is nowhere near as consistent as Alphabet when it comes to driving revenue; the pandemic was downright devastating to the company. Nevertheless, Disney is a long-term winner -- not because it does one thing incredibly well, but because it can do a variety of things incredibly well when one piece of its business is struggling.</p>\n<p class=\"t-img-caption\"><img src=\"https://g.foolcdn.com/image/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fg.foolcdn.com%2Feditorial%2Fimages%2F643205%2Folder-investors.jpg&w=700&op=resize\" tg-width=\"700\" tg-height=\"466\" width=\"100%\" height=\"auto\"><span>Image source: Getty Images.</span></p>\n<p>You likely know all about Disney's theme parks and movies. With the pandemic still crimping some segments of the entertainment industry and after the launch of Disney+, direct-to-consumer alone now makes up nearly one-third of the company's top line, while other divisions now contribute relatively less revenue.</p>\n<p>But that's the point. Walt Disney's always got something to sell to someone; oftentimes it's got several products and services to offer to the same consumers. It may not be completely recession-proof, but it's certainly recession-resistant, and it's also able to capture more than its fair share of growth stemming from a strong economy.</p>\n<h2>3. SPDR S&P 500 ETF Trust</h2>\n<p>Finally, add the <b>SPDR S&P 500 ETF Trust</b> (NYSEMKT:SPY) to your list of long-term investments you'll be glad you tucked away.</p>\n<p>Unlike Walt Disney and Alphabet, owning an index-based fund isn't an attempt to outperform the market. It's just an attempt to match the market's overall performance; in some ways it's also an admission that, given enough time, you probably can't beat the market.</p>\n<p>Statistically speaking though, that's not a bad bet.</p>\n<p>Data from Standard & Poor's tells the story, pointing out that measuring results from the end of the year 2000 and the end of 2020, around 94% of actively managed mutual funds available to U.S. investors didn't perform as well as the <b>S&P 500 Index</b> (SNPINDEX:^GSPC). The results are similarly bad when you look at shorter time frames.</p>\n<p>Why can't many of these professional fund managers do what they're presumably trained and paid to do even when they're giving it a full-time effort? Because timing trade entries and exits is hard to do well. That doesn't prevent these folks from attempting it in their hunt for market-beating results, however.</p>\n<p>It's possible you could have better luck. In fact, the whole purpose of highlighting Alphabet and Walt Disney is that these two names have the potential to outpace the broad market's gains.</p>\n<p>Both of those individual stock picks still require long-term holding periods to make the most of their potential, though. So the best thing to do is likely to just leave them alone as long as you can, and round them out with an index-based ETF you can also truly commit to for the long haul.</p>","source":"fool_stock","collect":0,"html":"<!DOCTYPE html>\n<html>\n<head>\n<meta http-equiv=\"Content-Type\" content=\"text/html; charset=utf-8\" />\n<meta name=\"viewport\" content=\"width=device-width,initial-scale=1.0,minimum-scale=1.0,maximum-scale=1.0,user-scalable=no\"/>\n<meta name=\"format-detection\" content=\"telephone=no,email=no,address=no\" />\n<title>3 Long-Term Investments You'll Thank Yourself for Later</title>\n<style type=\"text/css\">\na,abbr,acronym,address,applet,article,aside,audio,b,big,blockquote,body,canvas,caption,center,cite,code,dd,del,details,dfn,div,dl,dt,\nem,embed,fieldset,figcaption,figure,footer,form,h1,h2,h3,h4,h5,h6,header,hgroup,html,i,iframe,img,ins,kbd,label,legend,li,mark,menu,nav,\nobject,ol,output,p,pre,q,ruby,s,samp,section,small,span,strike,strong,sub,summary,sup,table,tbody,td,tfoot,th,thead,time,tr,tt,u,ul,var,video{ font:inherit;margin:0;padding:0;vertical-align:baseline;border:0 }\nbody{ font-size:16px; line-height:1.5; color:#999; background:transparent; }\n.wrapper{ overflow:hidden;word-break:break-all;padding:10px; }\nh1,h2{ font-weight:normal; line-height:1.35; margin-bottom:.6em; }\nh3,h4,h5,h6{ line-height:1.35; margin-bottom:1em; }\nh1{ font-size:24px; }\nh2{ font-size:20px; }\nh3{ font-size:18px; }\nh4{ font-size:16px; }\nh5{ font-size:14px; }\nh6{ font-size:12px; }\np,ul,ol,blockquote,dl,table{ margin:1.2em 0; }\nul,ol{ margin-left:2em; }\nul{ list-style:disc; }\nol{ list-style:decimal; }\nli,li p{ margin:10px 0;}\nimg{ max-width:100%;display:block;margin:0 auto 1em; }\nblockquote{ color:#B5B2B1; border-left:3px solid #aaa; padding:1em; }\nstrong,b{font-weight:bold;}\nem,i{font-style:italic;}\ntable{ width:100%;border-collapse:collapse;border-spacing:1px;margin:1em 0;font-size:.9em; }\nth,td{ padding:5px;text-align:left;border:1px solid #aaa; }\nth{ font-weight:bold;background:#5d5d5d; }\n.symbol-link{font-weight:bold;}\n/* header{ border-bottom:1px solid #494756; } */\n.title{ margin:0 0 8px;line-height:1.3;color:#ddd; }\n.meta {color:#5e5c6d;font-size:13px;margin:0 0 .5em; }\na{text-decoration:none; color:#2a4b87;}\n.meta .head { display: inline-block; overflow: hidden}\n.head .h-thumb { width: 30px; height: 30px; margin: 0; padding: 0; border-radius: 50%; float: left;}\n.head .h-content { margin: 0; padding: 0 0 0 9px; float: left;}\n.head .h-name {font-size: 13px; color: #eee; margin: 0;}\n.head .h-time {font-size: 11px; color: #7E829C; margin: 0;line-height: 11px;}\n.small {font-size: 12.5px; display: inline-block; transform: scale(0.9); -webkit-transform: scale(0.9); transform-origin: left; -webkit-transform-origin: left;}\n.smaller {font-size: 12.5px; display: inline-block; transform: scale(0.8); -webkit-transform: scale(0.8); transform-origin: left; -webkit-transform-origin: left;}\n.bt-text {font-size: 12px;margin: 1.5em 0 0 0}\n.bt-text p {margin: 0}\n</style>\n</head>\n<body>\n<div class=\"wrapper\">\n<header>\n<h2 class=\"title\">\n3 Long-Term Investments You'll Thank Yourself for Later\n</h2>\n\n<h4 class=\"meta\">\n\n\n2021-09-16 19:50 GMT+8 <a href=https://www.fool.com/investing/2021/09/16/3-long-term-investments-youll-thank-yourself-for-l/><strong>Motley Fool</strong></a>\n\n\n</h4>\n\n</header>\n<article>\n<div>\n<p>Got patience? So the best thing to do is likely to just leave them alone as long as you can, and round them out with an index-based ETF you can also truly commit to for the long haul.","news_type":1},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":323,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":883977110,"gmtCreate":1631199093330,"gmtModify":1676530495257,"author":{"id":"4088479336191950","authorId":"4088479336191950","name":"Tj_","avatar":"https://static.laohu8.com/default-avatar.jpg","crmLevel":2,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"4088479336191950","authorIdStr":"4088479336191950"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"woww","listText":"woww","text":"woww","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":7,"commentSize":2,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/883977110","repostId":"1171758120","repostType":4,"repost":{"id":"1171758120","pubTimestamp":1631197714,"share":"https://ttm.financial/m/news/1171758120?lang=&edition=fundamental","pubTime":"2021-09-09 22:28","market":"us","language":"en","title":"Facebook building custom chips for machine learning, video quality - report","url":"https://stock-news.laohu8.com/highlight/detail?id=1171758120","media":"seekingalpha","summary":"Facebook hasjoined the big-tech party for developing in-house semiconductors, in what has become a h","content":"<p><a href=\"https://laohu8.com/S/FB\">Facebook</a> hasjoined the big-tech party for developing in-house semiconductors, in what has become a high-stakes arms race to innovate on artificial intelligence and machine learning.</p>\n<p>The social-media giant is building a chip to power machine learning that it uses to recommend content to users, The <a href=\"https://laohu8.com/S/III\">Information</a> reports, and is working on another to improve video transcoding quality. Instead, I look for stocks I can hold for at least five years, and preferably longer if my investment thesis remains intact. That being said, price targets can be a good place to find inspiration, and there's no harm in glancing at these figures -- provided you do your own research, too.</p>\n<p>With that in mind, Wall Street analysts see significant upside for <b>Coinbase Global</b> (NASDAQ:COIN) and <b>Lemonade</b> (NYSE:LMND). Let's look at both of these tech stocks.</p>\n<h2>Coinbase Global: 140% implied upside</h2>\n<p>Coinbase helps its clients participate in the cryptoeconomy. Its platform offers a range of products to 68 million users, including retail investors, financial institutions, and ecosystem partners. Of course, brokerage services are the core business, but there's a lot more to Coinbase.</p>\n<p>For instance, its platform also allows individuals to send, spend, borrow, and lend cryptocurrency, and it offers a cold storage solution to institutional clients. Coinbase also provides blockchain analytics tools to law enforcement, application-building tools to developers, and payment processing tools to merchants.</p>\n<p>As of the most recent quarter, Coinbase had $180 billion in assets on its platform, or 11.2% of all crypto assets, making it the market leader. That immense scale demonstrates the company's trusted brand, and it creates an opportunity for further monetization. With those advantages in mind, analysts at D.A. Davidson value Coinbase stock at $650 per share, a 140% premium to its current price.</p>\n<p>Financially, Coinbase is growing at a shocking pace -- but investors should consider these metrics with caution. Transaction fees comprise the vast majority of revenue, and those fees depend on trading volume, which has historically been highly correlated with the price of <b>bitcoin</b> and the volatility of crypto assets. And so far this year, the crypto market has been incredibly volatile, juicing monthly transacting users and revenue.</p>\n<table>\n <thead>\n <tr>\n <th><p>Metric</p></th>\n <th><p>Q2 2020 (TTM)</p></th>\n <th><p>Q2 2021 (TTM)</p></th>\n <th><p>CAGR</p></th>\n </tr>\n </thead>\n <tbody>\n <tr>\n <td width=\"156\"><p>Monthly transacting users</p></td>\n <td width=\"156\"><p>1.5 million</p></td>\n <td width=\"156\"><p>8.8 million</p></td>\n <td width=\"156\"><p>487%</p></td>\n </tr>\n <tr>\n <td width=\"156\"><p>Revenue</p></td>\n <td width=\"156\"><p>$633.8 million</p></td>\n <td width=\"156\"><p>$4.9 billion</p></td>\n <td width=\"156\"><p>678%</p></td>\n </tr>\n </tbody>\n</table>\n<p>Data source: Coinbase SEC filings. TTM = trailing-12-months. CAGR = compound annual growth rates.</p>\n<p>Before buying Coinbase stock, investors should ask themselves <a href=\"https://laohu8.com/S/AONE.U\">one</a> question: Is cryptocurrency here to stay? If you think the answer is no, forget this stock. But if you see a future for cryptocurrency -- either as a store of value or a transactional medium -- then Coinbase could be a good way to tap into that trend.</p>\n<h2>Lemonade: 96% implied upside</h2>\n<p>Lemonade is a tech company that's disrupting the $5 trillion insurance industry. Specifically, the company uses big data and artificial intelligence to manage many aspects of its business, from quantifying risk and underwriting policies to processing claims and engaging clients.</p>\n<p>This differentiates it from traditional insurance providers, the vast majority of which rely on human brokers and agents. More to the point, many of today's industry leaders were founded over a century ago, long before the digital era, and their businesses simply weren't built to collect and deploy the types of data captured by Lemonade.</p>\n<p>This advantage should make Lemonade's platform faster, cheaper, and more precise over time, creating a flywheel effect that strengthens as the company adds more clients. With that in mind, analysts at Piper Sandler value Lemonade at $163 per share, representing 96% upside compared to its current price.</p>\n<p>Investors shouldn't fool themselves -- disrupting a well-established industry is rarely easy, and Lemonade has a long road ahead. However, the company's early financial results show promise. In Q2 2021, in-force premium (i.e. the annualized sum of customer premiums) reached $296.8 million, up 312% from Q2 2019. Over the same period, Lemonade has added new customers quickly, driving strong growth in gross profit.</p>\n<table>\n <thead>\n <tr>\n <th><p>Metric</p></th>\n <th><p>Q2 2019 (TTM)</p></th>\n <th><p>Q2 2021 (TTM)</p></th>\n <th><p>CAGR</p></th>\n </tr>\n </thead>\n <tbody>\n <tr>\n <td width=\"156\"><p>Customers</p></td>\n <td width=\"156\"><p>442,752</p></td>\n <td width=\"156\"><p>1.2 million</p></td>\n <td width=\"156\"><p>65%</p></td>\n </tr>\n <tr>\n <td width=\"156\"><p>Gross profit</p></td>\n <td width=\"156\"><p>$5.7 million</p></td>\n <td width=\"156\"><p>$26.5 million</p></td>\n <td width=\"156\"><p>116%</p></td>\n </tr>\n </tbody>\n</table>\n<p>Data source: Lemonade SEC filings. TTM = trailing-12-months. Instead, I look for stocks I can hold for at least five years, and preferably longer if my investment thesis remains intact. That being said, price targets can be a good place to find inspiration, and there's no harm in glancing at these figures -- provided you do your own research, too.\nWith that in mind, Wall Street analysts see significant upside for Coinbase Global (NASDAQ:COIN) and Lemonade (NYSE:LMND). Let's look at both of these tech stocks.\nCoinbase Global: 140% implied upside\nCoinbase helps its clients participate in the cryptoeconomy. Its platform offers a range of products to 68 million users, including retail investors, financial institutions, and ecosystem partners. Of course, brokerage services are the core business, but there's a lot more to Coinbase.\nFor instance, its platform also allows individuals to send, spend, borrow, and lend cryptocurrency, and it offers a cold storage solution to institutional clients. Coinbase also provides blockchain analytics tools to law enforcement, application-building tools to developers, and payment processing tools to merchants.\nAs of the most recent quarter, Coinbase had $180 billion in assets on its platform, or 11.2% of all crypto assets, making it the market leader. That immense scale demonstrates the company's trusted brand, and it creates an opportunity for further monetization. With those advantages in mind, analysts at D.A. Davidson value Coinbase stock at $650 per share, a 140% premium to its current price.\nFinancially, Coinbase is growing at a shocking pace -- but investors should consider these metrics with caution. Transaction fees comprise the vast majority of revenue, and those fees depend on trading volume, which has historically been highly correlated with the price of bitcoin and the volatility of crypto assets. And so far this year, the crypto market has been incredibly volatile, juicing monthly transacting users and revenue.\n\n\n\nMetric\nQ2 2020 (TTM)\nQ2 2021 (TTM)\nCAGR\n\n\n\n\nMonthly transacting users\n1.5 million\n8.8 million\n487%\n\n\nRevenue\n$633.8 million\n$4.9 billion\n678%\n\n\n\nData source: Coinbase SEC filings. TTM = trailing-12-months. CAGR = compound annual growth rates.\nBefore buying Coinbase stock, investors should ask themselves one question: Is cryptocurrency here to stay? If you think the answer is no, forget this stock. But if you see a future for cryptocurrency -- either as a store of value or a transactional medium -- then Coinbase could be a good way to tap into that trend.\nLemonade: 96% implied upside\nLemonade is a tech company that's disrupting the $5 trillion insurance industry. Specifically, the company uses big data and artificial intelligence to manage many aspects of its business, from quantifying risk and underwriting policies to processing claims and engaging clients.\nThis differentiates it from traditional insurance providers, the vast majority of which rely on human brokers and agents. More to the point, many of today's industry leaders were founded over a century ago, long before the digital era, and their businesses simply weren't built to collect and deploy the types of data captured by Lemonade.\nThis advantage should make Lemonade's platform faster, cheaper, and more precise over time, creating a flywheel effect that strengthens as the company adds more clients. With that in mind, analysts at Piper Sandler value Lemonade at $163 per share, representing 96% upside compared to its current price.\nInvestors shouldn't fool themselves -- disrupting a well-established industry is rarely easy, and Lemonade has a long road ahead. However, the company's early financial results show promise. In Q2 2021, in-force premium (i.e. the annualized sum of customer premiums) reached $296.8 million, up 312% from Q2 2019. Over the same period, Lemonade has added new customers quickly, driving strong growth in gross profit.\n\n\n\nMetric\nQ2 2019 (TTM)\nQ2 2021 (TTM)\nCAGR\n\n\n\n\nCustomers\n442,752\n1.2 million\n65%\n\n\nGross profit\n$5.7 million\n$26.5 million\n116%\n\n\n\nData source: Lemonade SEC filings. Stocks that also increase their payouts are even better. That's because you could be collecting more dividend income just by simply holding on to the stock for the long term.</p><p>Three stocks that recently hiked their dividend payments include <b>CareTrust REIT</b>, <b>Cenovus Energy</b>, and <b>Southern Company</b>. Let's take a closer look at their dividend payments today, and whether investors should expect more rate increases from these stocks in the future.</p><h2>1. CareTrust REIT</h2><p>CareTrust is a healthcare-focused real estate investment trust (REIT) that pays an impressive yield of 6.6%. The stock has been falling this year amid general softness in the stock market and worries about a possible recession. However, that hasn't stopped the REIT from providing a top dividend. Last year, it was paying its shareholders $0.265 every quarter, and now that dividend payment is up to $0.275, representing an increase of 3.8%. On an annualized basis, that means investors are collecting $1.10 per share in dividend income.</p><p>Although REITs have to pay out 90% of their earnings back to investors, they rely on funds from operations (FFO) to evaluate the safety of their dividend payments. And CareTrust's FFO per share was $1.32 last year, which would be sufficient to cover its dividend today, and still leave plenty of room.</p><p>REITs like CareTrust that focus on healthcare (its portfolio is made up of skilled nursing facilities, assisted living facilities, and independent living facilities) are safe given the general stability of the healthcare industry. And that can make rent payments more stable and predictable than if you were to invest in a REIT that focuses on residential housing or retail properties.</p><p>With a high yield and room for more increases in the future, CareTrust could be an underrated dividend stock to buy today.</p><h2>2. Cenovus Energy</h2><p>Oil and natural gas producer Cenovus Energy recently reported a strong quarter due to high commodity prices. With oil prices at levels not seen in years, the stock has been a hot buy in 2022, soaring 53% year to date and dwarfing the <b>S&P</b> <b>500</b>, which is down 12% over the same period.</p><p>The company's net earnings for the period ended March 31 totaled 1.6 billion Canadian dollars, for a year-over-year increase of 639%. It also reported free funds flow of CA$1.8 billion that was more than triple the prior-year period's tally of CA$594 million. Cenovus is confident that even if oil prices should fall, it can continue to perform well.</p><p>Notably, the company has tripled its annual dividend (which is paid quarterly) from CA$0.14 to CA$0.42. Cenovus believes the payout can be sustainable even if the price of West Texas Intermediate, a key benchmark for the industry, falls to around $45 per barrel -- and currently, it's more than double that price.</p><p>At 1.8%, Cenovus' yield is a bit higher than the S&P 500 average of 1.4%. However, given the uncertainty surrounding oil prices, I wouldn't expect the company to raise its dividend a whole lot higher -- and in the past, Cenovus slashed its dividend payments when oil prices were falling. But if you're bullish on the sector, this can be a great option to gain exposure to it while collecting a good dividend.</p><h2>3. Southern Company</h2><p>Southern is a utility company serving nine million customers across the country. For its investors, it has also been regularly increasing its dividend payments for decades. The latest increase, its 21st in a row, is no surprise for shareholders as the company says its long-term contracts allow it to generate predictable earnings numbers and enable it to consistently grow its dividend. The $0.02 hike is just as large as the <a href=\"https://laohu8.com/S/AONE.U\">one</a> it announced last year. At $2.72 in dividends per share over the course of a full year, the stock now yields 3.7%.</p><p>The news of the hike came just before Southern announced its latest quarterly results, covering the first three months of 2022. Reported per-share earnings of $0.97 for the period were down $0.10 from a year ago. But on an adjusted basis, they remained nearly identical to the $0.98 that the company reported during the same period last year. Either way, the earnings leave plenty of room for Southern to cover its new quarterly dividend payment of $0.68 with ease.</p><p>The stability that this business offers, combined with Southern's track record of consistently raising payouts, makes it a safe bet that payouts will continue to increase for the foreseeable future. And that makes Southern a promising dividend stock for investors to buy and hold for years.</p></body></html>","source":"fool_stock","collect":0,"html":"<!DOCTYPE html>\n<html>\n<head>\n<meta http-equiv=\"Content-Type\" content=\"text/html; charset=utf-8\" />\n<meta name=\"viewport\" content=\"width=device-width,initial-scale=1.0,minimum-scale=1.0,maximum-scale=1.0,user-scalable=no\"/>\n<meta name=\"format-detection\" content=\"telephone=no,email=no,address=no\" />\n<title>3 Dividend Stocks That Recently Hiked Their Payouts</title>\n<style type=\"text/css\">\na,abbr,acronym,address,applet,article,aside,audio,b,big,blockquote,body,canvas,caption,center,cite,code,dd,del,details,dfn,div,dl,dt,\nem,embed,fieldset,figcaption,figure,footer,form,h1,h2,h3,h4,h5,h6,header,hgroup,html,i,iframe,img,ins,kbd,label,legend,li,mark,menu,nav,\nobject,ol,output,p,pre,q,ruby,s,samp,section,small,span,strike,strong,sub,summary,sup,table,tbody,td,tfoot,th,thead,time,tr,tt,u,ul,var,video{ font:inherit;margin:0;padding:0;vertical-align:baseline;border:0 }\nbody{ font-size:16px; line-height:1.5; color:#999; background:transparent; }\n.wrapper{ overflow:hidden;word-break:break-all;padding:10px; }\nh1,h2{ font-weight:normal; line-height:1.35; margin-bottom:.6em; }\nh3,h4,h5,h6{ line-height:1.35; margin-bottom:1em; }\nh1{ font-size:24px; }\nh2{ font-size:20px; }\nh3{ font-size:18px; }\nh4{ font-size:16px; }\nh5{ font-size:14px; }\nh6{ font-size:12px; }\np,ul,ol,blockquote,dl,table{ margin:1.2em 0; }\nul,ol{ margin-left:2em; }\nul{ list-style:disc; }\nol{ list-style:decimal; }\nli,li p{ margin:10px 0;}\nimg{ max-width:100%;display:block;margin:0 auto 1em; }\nblockquote{ color:#B5B2B1; border-left:3px solid #aaa; padding:1em; }\nstrong,b{font-weight:bold;}\nem,i{font-style:italic;}\ntable{ width:100%;border-collapse:collapse;border-spacing:1px;margin:1em 0;font-size:.9em; }\nth,td{ padding:5px;text-align:left;border:1px solid #aaa; }\nth{ font-weight:bold;background:#5d5d5d; }\n.symbol-link{font-weight:bold;}\n/* header{ border-bottom:1px solid #494756; } */\n.title{ margin:0 0 8px;line-height:1.3;color:#ddd; }\n.meta {color:#5e5c6d;font-size:13px;margin:0 0 .5em; }\na{text-decoration:none; color:#2a4b87;}\n.meta .head { display: inline-block; overflow: hidden}\n.head .h-thumb { width: 30px; height: 30px; margin: 0; padding: 0; border-radius: 50%; float: left;}\n.head .h-content { margin: 0; padding: 0 0 0 9px; float: left;}\n.head .h-name {font-size: 13px; color: #eee; margin: 0;}\n.head .h-time {font-size: 11px; color: #7E829C; margin: 0;line-height: 11px;}\n.small {font-size: 12.5px; display: inline-block; transform: scale(0.9); -webkit-transform: scale(0.9); transform-origin: left; -webkit-transform-origin: left;}\n.smaller {font-size: 12.5px; display: inline-block; transform: scale(0.8); -webkit-transform: scale(0.8); transform-origin: left; -webkit-transform-origin: left;}\n.bt-text {font-size: 12px;margin: 1.5em 0 0 0}\n.bt-text p {margin: 0}\n</style>\n</head>\n<body>\n<div class=\"wrapper\">\n<header>\n<h2 class=\"title\">\n3 Dividend Stocks That Recently Hiked Their Payouts\n</h2>\n\n<h4 class=\"meta\">\n\n\n2022-05-06 11:34 GMT+8 <a href=https://www.fool.com/investing/2022/05/05/3-dividend-stocks-that-recently-hiked-their-payout/><strong>Motley Fool</strong></a>\n\n\n</h4>\n\n</header>\n<article>\n<div>\n<p>Dividend stocks that provide investors with regular, recurring payouts are incredibly valuable investments to hang on to for the long haul. The ultimate goal is to find the elusive “10 bagger”—a stock that returns 10 times what you paid for it.</p>\n<p>Wall Street analyst notes and client letters from investment pros are replete with compounder references. Many of the next generation of value managers, identified in a <i>Barron’s</i> cover story in May, are seeking such shares, rather than the traditional value fare of cheap stocks.</p>\n<p>Their search has become more challenging, because buyers are paying lofty prices for high-growth stories. Really big winners are scarce. Only about 35 companies in each of a long series of 10-year periods have compounded their stock prices at 20% or more annually, resulting in at least a sixfold increase, according to Durable Capital Partners.</p>\n<p>Many investors are happy to stick with large, well-known compounders, such as Alphabet(ticker: GOOGL),Mastercard(MA),UnitedHealth Group(UNH), and Eli Lilly(LLY).</p>\n<p><i>Barron’s</i> sought to identify smaller candidates. We talked to investment managers and came up with an eclectic list of 10 stocks, most with market values under $10 billion. Here are the selections, in alphabetical order:</p>\n<p>Strong and Steady Wins the RaceHere are 10 stocks that growth investors have identified as being able to generate consistently high growth in revenues or profits for many years.</p>\n<table>\n <thead>\n <tr>\n <th>Company / Ticker</th>\n <th>Recent Price</th>\n <th>YTD Change</th>\n <th>2021E P/E</th>\n <th>2021E Price/Sales</th>\n <th>2022E P/E</th>\n <th>2022E Price/Sales</th>\n <th>LT Growth Rate*</th>\n <th>Market Value (bil)</th>\n <th>Comment</th>\n </tr>\n </thead>\n <tbody>\n <tr>\n <td>Amedysis / AMED</td>\n <td>$185.15</td>\n <td>-37%</td>\n <td>30.2</td>\n <td>2.7</td>\n <td>27.7</td>\n <td>2.4</td>\n <td>10.5%</td>\n <td>$6.3</td>\n <td>Leader in home health care</td>\n </tr>\n <tr>\n <td>Amyris / AMRS</td>\n <td>13.64</td>\n <td>121</td>\n <td>NM</td>\n <td>10.4</td>\n <td>NM</td>\n <td>9.7</td>\n <td>NA</td>\n <td>4.1</td>\n <td>Leading company in synthetic biology</td>\n </tr>\n <tr>\n <td>Booz Allen Hamilton Holding / BAH</td>\n <td>81.73</td>\n <td>-6</td>\n <td>19.4</td>\n <td>1.3</td>\n <td>17.7</td>\n <td>1.2</td>\n <td>8.6</td>\n <td>11.0</td>\n <td>Defense-department consultant</td>\n </tr>\n <tr>\n <td>J.B. But the shares, around $185, are off nearly 30% after the company recently cut 2021 financial guidance, citing Covid-related staffing and cost issues, mostly in acquired hospice operations. The 2021 earnings estimate is now $6.13 a share, down from nearly $7. The stock trades for 30 times projected 2021 profits. Cole says that the company remains capable of generating 10% annual gains in earnings per share.</p>\n<p>Amyris(AMRS) is a leader in synthetic biology. It fans say its opportunity is to supplant, in an eco-friendly way, a range of products now made from petrochemicals, animals, and plants.</p>\n<p>Using genetically re-engineered yeast and sugar cane, Amyris produces such things as squalane, a high-end moisturizer formerly made from shark livers; vanillin, the flavoring for vanilla; and a no-calorie sweetener normally derived from plants. The stock trades around $13.</p>\n<p><i>Barron’s</i> wrote favorably on the company in July. Amyris sees sales reaching $2 billion by 2025, up from an estimated $400 million this year, driven by its consumer brands.</p>\n<p>“The world needs clean chemistry, and Amyris is the point on the spear to create it,” says Randy Baron, a portfolio manager at Pinnacle Associates, which owns Amyris shares. He thinks they could hit $75 by the end of 2022.</p>\n<p>Booz Allen Hamilton Holding(BAH) is an important consultant to the Defense Department and other agencies. The U.S. government accounted for 97% of its revenue in its latest fiscal year. Booz Allen has built robust ties to the government over the years by providing an array of services, like cybersecurity. Its stock trades around $81, for a 1.8% yield.</p>\n<p>“It has built a strong, partnership-like culture and has a long record of steady growth,” says Josh Spencer, manager of the T. Rowe Price New Horizons fund. He sees Booz Allen as capable of generating 9% to 10% annual growth in revenue and yearly gains of 15% to 16% in earnings, in line with its historical performance. The stock is off 20% from its peak of $100, amid concerns about more restrained military spending. Spencer sees the pullback as a buying opportunity, with the stock valued at less than 20 times earnings.</p>\n<p>J.B. Hunt Transport Services(JBHT) is a leader in intermodal freight, which involves the fuel-efficient movement of trucks over rail lines. It has been one of the most successful trucking companies. Its stock has risen 30-fold over the past 20 years, to a recent $173. “It has an incredible franchise,” says Henry Ellenbogen, chief investment officer at Durable Capital Partners and a member of the Barron’s Roundtable.</p>\n<p>J.B. Hunt’s relationship with the Burlington Northern Santa Fe railroad gives it a strong position in intermodal freight, he notes. J.B. Hunt also has a growing business taking over the trucking operations of smaller companies. And it is involved in digital freight brokerage—matching truckers with shipping customers.</p>\n<p>Ellenbogen says the stock is reasonable at 22 times estimated 2022 profits, given a mid-teens annual growth outlook for earnings.</p>\n<p>Marriott Vacations Worldwide(VAC) is one of the top companies in the timeshare industry. It has 700,000 owners, a resilient business model with significant revenue from fees, and more exposure than its peers to luxury properties in places including Hawaii and Orlando, Fla.</p>\n<p>“It has the best customer base, with the highest spending and an impeccable balance sheet,” says David Baron, a manager of the Baron Focused Growth fund. Marriott Vacations, whose shares recently were trading around $145, should reinstate its dividend later this year, he adds.</p>\n<p>The shares, Baron argues, are cheap at a 11% free-cash-flow yield, based on 2022 estimates. He says that the stock, little changed since 2018, could produce 20% annual returns for shareholders in the coming years.</p>\n<p>SiteOne Landscape Supply(SITE) is the country’s top supplier of landscaping products, with ample opportunity to expand, given that it has just a 13% market share in a highly fragmented industry.</p>\n<p></p>\n<p>“It’s growing organically and has lots of acquisition opportunities,” says Columbia’s Cole, who considers the company to be capable of 10% to 15% annual revenue growth.</p>\n<p>The stock, around $197, has a rich valuation, trading for 43 times projected 2022 earnings of $4.54 a share.</p>\n<p>Staar Surgical(STAA) has developed an implantable lens to correct myopia (nearsightedness). That addresses a potentially huge market, given the rising global incidence of that vision problem. The company expects the lens, which has been available in Europe and Asia for at least five years, to be on the U.S. market in the fourth quarter, pending Food and Drug Administration approval.</p>\n<p>“It could do substantial volumes,’’ says Doug Brodie, a global manager at Baillie Gifford. “It’s early in a journey and is largely devoid of competition.”</p>\n<p>Lenses for both eyes can be implanted in less than an hour, and they don’t involve the removal of the natural lenses. The wholesale cost in the U.S. could be around $1,000 per lens.</p>\n<p>At a recent $138, Staar shares are richly valued at more than 20 times projected 2022 sales and 140 times estimated 2022 earnings. But the market opportunity is enormous: Some five billion people worldwide could have myopia by 2050.</p>\n<p>Stitch Fix(SFIX) has developed a subscription service for clothing, shoes, and other accessories and boasts over four million customers.</p>\n<p>“This could be the Nordstrom of the future,” says Mario Cibelli, chief investment officer at Marathon Partners Equity Management, a Stitch Fix holder. “This a potentially huge market and nobody is addressing it in the same way.” Using a staff of 6,000 personal stylists and lots of data, Stitch Fix seeks to identify subscriber tastes to generate high satisfaction and limit returns on packages sent at intervals and determined by subscribers.</p>\n<p>Its shares, around $44, are down 60% from their level earlier in the year, on investors’ worries about potential churn and the business’s ultimate profitability.</p>\n<p>Yet Cibelli sees revenue growth of 20%-plus annually, opportunities outside its current U.S. and U.K. markets, and a potentially very profitable business in two to three years.</p>\n<p>Trex(TREX) is the top producer of a high-end wood alternative for decks that comes from 95% recycled material, making it an eco-friendly housing play. The ultimate goal is to find the elusive “10 bagger”—a stock that returns 10 times what you paid for it.\nWall Street analyst notes and client letters from investment pros are replete with compounder references. Many of the next generation of value managers, identified in a Barron’s cover story in May, are seeking such shares, rather than the traditional value fare of cheap stocks.\nTheir search has become more challenging, because buyers are paying lofty prices for high-growth stories. Really big winners are scarce. Only about 35 companies in each of a long series of 10-year periods have compounded their stock prices at 20% or more annually, resulting in at least a sixfold increase, according to Durable Capital Partners.\nMany investors are happy to stick with large, well-known compounders, such as Alphabet(ticker: GOOGL),Mastercard(MA),UnitedHealth Group(UNH), and Eli Lilly(LLY).\nBarron’s sought to identify smaller candidates. We talked to investment managers and came up with an eclectic list of 10 stocks, most with market values under $10 billion. Here are the selections, in alphabetical order:\nStrong and Steady Wins the RaceHere are 10 stocks that growth investors have identified as being able to generate consistently high growth in revenues or profits for many years.\n\n\n\nCompany / Ticker\nRecent Price\nYTD Change\n2021E P/E\n2021E Price/Sales\n2022E P/E\n2022E Price/Sales\nLT Growth Rate*\nMarket Value (bil)\nComment\n\n\n\n\nAmedysis / AMED\n$185.15\n-37%\n30.2\n2.7\n27.7\n2.4\n10.5%\n$6.3\nLeader in home health care\n\n\nAmyris / AMRS\n13.64\n121\nNM\n10.4\nNM\n9.7\nNA\n4.1\nLeading company in synthetic biology\n\n\nBooz Allen Hamilton Holding / BAH\n81.73\n-6\n19.4\n1.3\n17.7\n1.2\n8.6\n11.0\nDefense-department consultant\n\n\nJ.B. Cole says that the company remains capable of generating 10% annual gains in earnings per share.\nAmyris(AMRS) is a leader in synthetic biology. It fans say its opportunity is to supplant, in an eco-friendly way, a range of products now made from petrochemicals, animals, and plants.\nUsing genetically re-engineered yeast and sugar cane, Amyris produces such things as squalane, a high-end moisturizer formerly made from shark livers; vanillin, the flavoring for vanilla; and a no-calorie sweetener normally derived from plants. The stock trades around $13.\nBarron’s wrote favorably on the company in July. Amyris sees sales reaching $2 billion by 2025, up from an estimated $400 million this year, driven by its consumer brands.\n“The world needs clean chemistry, and Amyris is the point on the spear to create it,” says Randy Baron, a portfolio manager at Pinnacle Associates, which owns Amyris shares. He thinks they could hit $75 by the end of 2022.\nBooz Allen Hamilton Holding(BAH) is an important consultant to the Defense Department and other agencies. The U.S. government accounted for 97% of its revenue in its latest fiscal year. Booz Allen has built robust ties to the government over the years by providing an array of services, like cybersecurity. Its stock trades around $81, for a 1.8% yield.\n“It has built a strong, partnership-like culture and has a long record of steady growth,” says Josh Spencer, manager of the T. Spencer sees the pullback as a buying opportunity, with the stock valued at less than 20 times earnings.\nJ.B. Hunt Transport Services(JBHT) is a leader in intermodal freight, which involves the fuel-efficient movement of trucks over rail lines. It has been one of the most successful trucking companies. Its stock has risen 30-fold over the past 20 years, to a recent $173. “It has an incredible franchise,” says Henry Ellenbogen, chief investment officer at Durable Capital Partners and a member of the Barron’s Roundtable.\nJ.B. Hunt’s relationship with the Burlington Northern Santa Fe railroad gives it a strong position in intermodal freight, he notes. J.B. Hunt also has a growing business taking over the trucking operations of smaller companies. And it is involved in digital freight brokerage—matching truckers with shipping customers.\nEllenbogen says the stock is reasonable at 22 times estimated 2022 profits, given a mid-teens annual growth outlook for earnings.\nMarriott Vacations Worldwide(VAC) is one of the top companies in the timeshare industry. It has 700,000 owners, a resilient business model with significant revenue from fees, and more exposure than its peers to luxury properties in places including Hawaii and Orlando, Fla.\n“It has the best customer base, with the highest spending and an impeccable balance sheet,” says David Baron, a manager of the Baron Focused Growth fund. Marriott Vacations, whose shares recently were trading around $145, should reinstate its dividend later this year, he adds.\nThe shares, Baron argues, are cheap at a 11% free-cash-flow yield, based on 2022 estimates. He says that the stock, little changed since 2018, could produce 20% annual returns for shareholders in the coming years.\nSiteOne Landscape Supply(SITE) is the country’s top supplier of landscaping products, with ample opportunity to expand, given that it has just a 13% market share in a highly fragmented industry.\n\n“It’s growing organically and has lots of acquisition opportunities,” says Columbia’s Cole, who considers the company to be capable of 10% to 15% annual revenue growth.\nThe stock, around $197, has a rich valuation, trading for 43 times projected 2022 earnings of $4.54 a share.\nStaar Surgical(STAA) has developed an implantable lens to correct myopia (nearsightedness). That addresses a potentially huge market, given the rising global incidence of that vision problem. The company expects the lens, which has been available in Europe and Asia for at least five years, to be on the U.S. market in the fourth quarter, pending Food and Drug Administration approval.\n“It could do substantial volumes,’’ says Doug Brodie, a global manager at Baillie Gifford. “It’s early in a journey and is largely devoid of competition.”\nLenses for both eyes can be implanted in less than an hour, and they don’t involve the removal of the natural lenses. The wholesale cost in the U.S. could be around $1,000 per lens.\nAt a recent $138, Staar shares are richly valued at more than 20 times projected 2022 sales and 140 times estimated 2022 earnings. But the market opportunity is enormous: Some five billion people worldwide could have myopia by 2050.\nStitch Fix(SFIX) has developed a subscription service for clothing, shoes, and other accessories and boasts over four million customers.\n“This could be the Nordstrom of the future,” says Mario Cibelli, chief investment officer at Marathon Partners Equity Management, a Stitch Fix holder. “This a potentially huge market and nobody is addressing it in the same way.” Using a staff of 6,000 personal stylists and lots of data, Stitch Fix seeks to identify subscriber tastes to generate high satisfaction and limit returns on packages sent at intervals and determined by subscribers.\nIts shares, around $44, are down 60% from their level earlier in the year, on investors’ worries about potential churn and the business’s ultimate profitability.\nYet Cibelli sees revenue growth of 20%-plus annually, opportunities outside its current U.S. and U.K. markets, and a potentially very profitable business in two to three years.\nTrex(TREX) is the top producer of a high-end wood alternative for decks that comes from 95% recycled material, making it an eco-friendly housing play. The shares, at $105, trade for 43 times projected 2022 earnings.\nT. Rowe Price’s Spencer views Trex as worth the price, based on his view that it can generate sustainable annual revenue growth of 15% to 20%. Earnings are expected to climb by about 20% in 2022 and at a similar pace in the following years. “If you roll the clock forward three years, it doesn’t look as expensive,” he says.\nUpwork(UPWK), an online marketplace for freelance workers, is favored by Baillie Gifford’s Brodie, who says it offers a play on the greater acceptance of freelancers by businesses.\nThe shares, recently around $44, aren’t cheap. Upwork is valued at $5.7 billion, or more than 10 times this year’s projected sales of nearly $500 million. It operates at a slight loss.\nThe investment case is about rapid sales growth leading to ample earnings. Sales are expected to rise by 30%-plus this year and 25% for 2022.\n“Freelancers are more accepted by small to midsize business, but they’ve been frowned on by the HR departments at large businesses,” Brodie says. Upwork aims to change that perception by vetting its freelancers and by offering thousands of skill sets. “Upwork could become a trusted partner for an increasing number of enterprise-grade partners,” he says.","news_type":1},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":199,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":9080364612,"gmtCreate":1649848354230,"gmtModify":1676534589157,"author":{"id":"4088479336191950","authorId":"4088479336191950","name":"Tj_","avatar":"https://static.laohu8.com/default-avatar.jpg","crmLevel":2,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"4088479336191950","authorIdStr":"4088479336191950"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"👍","listText":"👍","text":"👍","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":3,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/9080364612","repostId":"2226666417","repostType":4,"repost":{"id":"2226666417","pubTimestamp":1649862900,"share":"https://ttm.financial/m/news/2226666417?lang=&edition=fundamental","pubTime":"2022-04-13 23:15","market":"us","language":"en","title":"3 High-Yield Tech Stocks to Buy in April","url":"https://stock-news.laohu8.com/highlight/detail?id=2226666417","media":"Motley Fool","summary":"Seagate, Qualcomm, and Broadcom are all solid income stocks.","content":"<html><head></head><body><p>The past few months have been rough for high-growth tech stocks. The company spent just 47% of its FCF on its dividends over the past 12 months, and it remains committed to spending about half of its prior-year FCF on dividends this year.Broadcom's shareholder-friendly measures, well-diversified business, and low valuation all make it a reliable investment for this volatile market.","news_type":1},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":330,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":9958275062,"gmtCreate":1673759474956,"gmtModify":1676538882709,"author":{"id":"4088479336191950","authorId":"4088479336191950","name":"Tj_","avatar":"https://static.laohu8.com/default-avatar.jpg","crmLevel":2,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"4088479336191950","authorIdStr":"4088479336191950"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"Great 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍","listText":"Great 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍","text":"Great 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":2,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/9958275062","isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":324,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":9958399684,"gmtCreate":1673625561548,"gmtModify":1676538867162,"author":{"id":"4088479336191950","authorId":"4088479336191950","name":"Tj_","avatar":"https://static.laohu8.com/default-avatar.jpg","crmLevel":2,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"4088479336191950","authorIdStr":"4088479336191950"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"Great 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍","listText":"Great 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍","text":"Great 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":2,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/9958399684","isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":175,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":9951005974,"gmtCreate":1673349674598,"gmtModify":1676538822028,"author":{"id":"4088479336191950","authorId":"4088479336191950","name":"Tj_","avatar":"https://static.laohu8.com/default-avatar.jpg","crmLevel":2,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"4088479336191950","authorIdStr":"4088479336191950"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"👍","listText":"👍","text":"👍","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":2,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/9951005974","isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":171,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":882253545,"gmtCreate":1631698884587,"gmtModify":1676530612101,"author":{"id":"4088479336191950","authorId":"4088479336191950","name":"Tj_","avatar":"https://static.laohu8.com/default-avatar.jpg","crmLevel":2,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"4088479336191950","authorIdStr":"4088479336191950"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"okay","listText":"okay","text":"okay","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":2,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/882253545","repostId":"1108272392","repostType":4,"repost":{"id":"1108272392","weMediaInfo":{"introduction":"Providing stock market headlines, business news, financials and earnings ","home_visible":1,"media_name":"Tiger Newspress","id":"1079075236","head_image":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/8274c5b9d4c2852bfb1c4d6ce16c68ba"},"pubTimestamp":1631693345,"share":"https://ttm.financial/m/news/1108272392?lang=&edition=fundamental","pubTime":"2021-09-15 16:09","market":"us","language":"en","title":"Apple shares rose 0.4% in premarket trading","url":"https://stock-news.laohu8.com/highlight/detail?id=1108272392","media":"Tiger Newspress","summary":"Apple shares rose 0.4% in premarket trading.Apple held an event yesterday where the new iPhone 13 in","content":"<p>Apple shares rose 0.4% in premarket trading.Apple held an event yesterday where the new iPhone 13 in all of its versions were unveiled.
