This news has TSLA stock falling but there is still reason to believe the company can turn around and start rising again.</p><p><b>What’s Happening With TSLA Stock</b></p><p>TSLA stock began the day by falling into the red. While it initially sank more than 3%, it has since rebounded slightly. While it is still down around 1% for the day, its current trajectory hints that TSLA stock may pull back into the green by this afternoon.</p><p>Tesla displayed considerable volatility last week but began this week on a better note. Let’s take a closer look at Musk’s recent statements and what they mean for TSLA stock’s future.</p><p><b>‘Gigantic Money Furnaces’</b></p><p>Musk’s actually made his furnace comment almost a month ago. On May 30, he gave an interview with Tesla Owners Silicon Valley which was published yesterday. In it, he admitted that the Berlin and Austin gigafactories are “losing insane money” during the current quarter. “Both Berlin and Austin factories are gigantic money furnaces right now. OK?” he stated. “It should be like a giant roaring sound which is the sound of money on fire.” Musk further elaborated on the reasons behind this negative turn:</p><blockquote>Berlin and Austin are losing billions of dollars right now because there’s a ton of expense and hardly any output. Getting Berlin and Austin functional and getting Shanghai back in the saddle fully are overwhelmingly our concerns. Everything else is a very small thing basically.</blockquote><p>He also admitted that it has been extremely difficult to keep factories open throughout recent years as supply chain constraints have weighed increasingly heavily on EV producers. “The past two years have been an absolutely nightmare of supply chain disruptions, one thing after another, and we are not out of it yet” he noted.</p><p>That statement certainly sounds grim. But Musk is no stranger to hyperbole. Earlier this month, TSLA stock fell after he admitted to feeling “super bad” about the economy and that Tesla would be laying off 10% of its salaried workforce. However, Teladoc&#39;s growth prospects make it worth a lot more than its current market cap of under $12 billion, in my view.</p><p>Some might question whether or not Teladoc can win in a post-pandemic world. I think the answer is a resounding yes. Virtual care is both cost-effective for payers and convenient for patients. That&#39;s a compelling value proposition.</p><p>Teladoc also holds multiple competitive advantages over rivals. It offers the broadest array of services in the industry, notably including a chronic disease management platform. The company ranks No. 1 in customer satisfaction. And Teladoc boasts the biggest client base by far, including more than half of the Fortune 500.</p><p>The company could nearly double its covered lives simply by gaining new members within existing clients. It could grow even more by increasing multi-product penetration within current customers. Adding new clients -- which Teladoc continues to do at a robust rate -- is the cherry on top.</p><p>Teladoc estimates its total addressable market stands at $268 billion in the U.S. alone. To put that into context, Wall Street expects the company to generate around $2.6 billion in revenue this year. Unstoppable stock at an unbelievable price? Yep.</p><h2>2. <a href=\"https://laohu8.com/S/PYPL\">PayPal</a> Holdings</h2><p><b>PayPal Holdings</b> (NASDAQ:PYPL) shares have fallen more than 60% below their 52-week high. While much of that decline came in the second half of last year, the fintech stock also plunged earlier this month after providing disappointing guidance for 2022.</p><p>It&#39;s important to delve into the details behind the stock&#39;s drop. In particular, PayPal&#39;s lower-than-expected customer account growth for this year isn&#39;t a sign of impending doom. Instead, the company is shifting to a model of growing revenue per user rather than emphasizing expanding the total customer base. That&#39;s a move that investors should applaud because it will drive higher profitability.</p><p>PayPal&#39;s long-term prospects remain exceptionally strong. Its growth drivers include increased e-commerce penetration, buy now, pay later programs, in-store QR code payments, and the Venmo digital wallet. There&#39;s arguably no company in as strong of a position to benefit from the shift to digital payments as PayPal.</p><p>Is the stock really an unbelievable bargain, though? Probably not if you only look at current valuation metrics. However, when you compare PayPal&#39;s market cap of $131 billion against the $110 <i>trillion</i> market opportunity, it&#39;s a different story altogether.</p><h2>3. Sea Limited</h2><p>Like PayPal, <b>Sea Limited</b> (NYSE:SE) has seen its stock price sink more than 60% from peak levels. Nearly all of this decline has come over the past three months.</p><p>Concerns about rising interest rates have hurt many growth stocks, including Sea. But the company also faces a more immediate worry: India is reportedly banning Sea&#39;s top-selling <i>Free Fire</i> mobile game. Although Sea currently generates less than 3% of its gaming revenue in India, the country is potentially a big growth market for the company.</p><p>However, Sea has plenty of other avenues for growth -- both from a geographic and product standpoint. The company continues to enjoy strong momentum in Southeast Asia and Latin America. Its e-commerce and digital payments units are also key growth drivers in addition to its gaming business.</p><p>As was the case with PayPal, Sea Limited might not seem to be cheap based on commonly used valuation metrics. However, the company is a contender in three fast-growing markets (gaming, e-commerce, and digital payments). That's a compelling value proposition.Teladoc also holds multiple competitive advantages over rivals. It offers the broadest array of services in the industry, notably including a chronic disease management platform. The company ranks No. 1 in customer satisfaction. And Teladoc boasts the biggest client base by far, including more than half of the Fortune 500.The company could nearly double its covered lives simply by gaining new members within existing clients. It could grow even more by increasing multi-product penetration within current customers. Adding new clients -- which Teladoc continues to do at a robust rate -- is the cherry on top.Teladoc estimates its total addressable market stands at $268 billion in the U.S. alone. To put that into context, Wall Street expects the company to generate around $2.6 billion in revenue this year. Unstoppable stock at an unbelievable price? Yep.2. PayPal HoldingsPayPal Holdings (NASDAQ:PYPL) shares have fallen more than 60% below their 52-week high. While much of that decline came in the second half of last year, the fintech stock also plunged earlier this month after providing disappointing guidance for 2022.It's important to delve into the details behind the stock's drop. In particular, PayPal's lower-than-expected customer account growth for this year isn't a sign of impending doom. Instead, the company is shifting to a model of growing revenue per user rather than emphasizing expanding the total customer base. That's a move that investors should applaud because it will drive higher profitability.PayPal's long-term prospects remain exceptionally strong. Its growth drivers include increased e-commerce penetration, buy now, pay later programs, in-store QR code payments, and the Venmo digital wallet. There's arguably no company in as strong of a position to benefit from the shift to digital payments as PayPal.Is the stock really an unbelievable bargain, though? Probably not if you only look at current valuation metrics. The company continues to enjoy strong momentum in Southeast Asia and Latin America. As a result, the social media company is now likely to report revenue and adjusted earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization (EBITDA) metrics beneath the low end of its Q2 2022 guidance range. As expected, the news had a detrimental impact on other ad-driven companies, including Meta, as investors now fear we&#39;re facing a large-scale slowdown in digital advertising.</p><p>For Meta, a company that generates virtually all its revenue via advertising, this news is certainly not something investors should ignore. But down 46% year to date, is now an optimal time to buy Meta stock?</p><p><img src=\"https://static.tigerbbs.com/7636b7506cfdaa218b4630251b423e1e\" tg-width=\"700\" tg-height=\"393\" referrerpolicy=\"no-referrer\"/></p><p>Image source: Getty Images.</p><h2>What&#39;s the deal with Meta&#39;s business?</h2><p>After ending last year on a sour note, Meta rebounded nicely to open up 2022. The company&#39;s top line rose 7% year over year to $27.9 billion, and diluted earnings per share (EPS) receded 18% to $2.72, with both metrics finishing on par with Wall Street&#39;s expectations. The flatter growth continued, as CEO Mark Zuckerberg indicated in the Q1 earnings call several obstacles Meta is currently facing.</p><p><img src=\"https://static.tigerbbs.com/776c0812c77e8bab97808c68ae74a0a3\" tg-width=\"886\" tg-height=\"544\" width=\"100%\" height=\"auto\"/></p><p>Similar to his spiel to close out 2021, Zuckerberg pointed to the shift to Reels on Instagram, which currently monetizes more slowly than other segments, and Apple&#39;s iOS privacy changes, which negatively impact its core advertising business, as primary drivers of the slowdown. He also mentioned softness in e-commerce relative to pandemic levels and impacts from the Russo-Ukrainian war as meaningful headwinds.</p><p>As a result, analysts project revenue of $127.1 billion for fiscal 2022, representing 8% growth year over year, and EPS of $11.94, translating to a negative 13% growth from a year ago. Next year, however, Wall Street expects total sales to climb 17% to $148.2 billion and EPS to soar 18% to $14.09, highlighting investor optimism once comparable metrics normalize. While growth may be shaky in 2022 due to a string of near-term headwinds, the company&#39;s historically low valuation is hard to pass over.</p><p>Trading at just 13 times earnings, a steep discount to its five-year mean price-to-earnings multiple of 28, Meta stock appears handsomely valued for long-term investors today. While I&#39;m still not completely sold on its metaverse transition, the company&#39;s $14.9 billion in cash and its debt-to-equity ratio of only 12% eliminate much of my negative attitude toward its money-losing Reality Labs business. The company&#39;s strong balance sheet and cash generation, combined with its wide moat of nearly two billion daily active users, should help Meta investors sleep well at night -- even in spite of its current growing pains.</p><h2>A great time to buy</h2><p>When most investors fall out of love with a stock, that&#39;s often the best time to buy. Today, Meta Platforms is facing a series of headwinds that could impair growth for the foreseeable future. That said, I believe many of these hurdles are short-term in nature and that Meta is poised for a sound recovery in the future.</p><p>Plus, the social media juggernaut enjoys an elite balance sheet and robust cash generation, which will continue to provide financial flexibility as it undergoes its metaverse transformation. As a result, the social media company is now likely to report revenue and adjusted earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization (EBITDA) metrics beneath the low end of its Q2 2022 guidance range. The company's top line rose 7% year over year to $27.9 billion, and diluted earnings per share (EPS) receded 18% to $2.72, with both metrics finishing on par with Wall Street's expectations. The flatter growth continued, as CEO Mark Zuckerberg indicated in the Q1 earnings call several obstacles Meta is currently facing.Similar to his spiel to close out 2021, Zuckerberg pointed to the shift to Reels on Instagram, which currently monetizes more slowly than other segments, and Apple's iOS privacy changes, which negatively impact its core advertising business, as primary drivers of the slowdown. He also mentioned softness in e-commerce relative to pandemic levels and impacts from the Russo-Ukrainian war as meaningful headwinds.As a result, analysts project revenue of $127.1 billion for fiscal 2022, representing 8% growth year over year, and EPS of $11.94, translating to a negative 13% growth from a year ago. Next year, however, Wall Street expects total sales to climb 17% to $148.2 billion and EPS to soar 18% to $14.09, highlighting investor optimism once comparable metrics normalize. While growth may be shaky in 2022 due to a string of near-term headwinds, the company's historically low valuation is hard to pass over.Trading at just 13 times earnings, a steep discount to its five-year mean price-to-earnings multiple of 28, Meta stock appears handsomely valued for long-term investors today. While I'm still not completely sold on its metaverse transition, the company's $14.9 billion in cash and its debt-to-equity ratio of only 12% eliminate much of my negative attitude toward its money-losing Reality Labs business. The company's strong balance sheet and cash generation, combined with its wide moat of nearly two billion daily active users, should help Meta investors sleep well at night -- even in spite of its current growing pains.A great time to buyWhen most investors fall out of love with a stock, that's often the best time to buy. Today, Meta Platforms is facing a series of headwinds that could impair growth for the foreseeable future. That said, I believe many of these hurdles are short-term in nature and that Meta is poised for a sound recovery in the future.Plus, the social media juggernaut enjoys an elite balance sheet and robust cash generation, which will continue to provide financial flexibility as it undergoes its metaverse transformation. It offers the broadest array of services in the industry, notably including a chronic disease management platform. The company ranks No. 1 in customer satisfaction. And Teladoc boasts the biggest client base by far, including more than half of the Fortune 500.</p><p>The company could nearly double its covered lives simply by gaining new members within existing clients. It could grow even more by increasing multi-product penetration within current customers. Adding new clients -- which Teladoc continues to do at a robust rate -- is the cherry on top.</p><p>Teladoc estimates its total addressable market stands at $268 billion in the U.S. alone. To put that into context, Wall Street expects the company to generate around $2.6 billion in revenue this year. Unstoppable stock at an unbelievable price? Yep.</p><h2>2. <a href=\"https://laohu8.com/S/PYPL\">PayPal</a> Holdings</h2><p><b>PayPal Holdings</b> (NASDAQ:PYPL) shares have fallen more than 60% below their 52-week high. While much of that decline came in the second half of last year, the fintech stock also plunged earlier this month after providing disappointing guidance for 2022.</p><p>It&#39;s important to delve into the details behind the stock&#39;s drop. In particular, PayPal&#39;s lower-than-expected customer account growth for this year isn&#39;t a sign of impending doom. Instead, the company is shifting to a model of growing revenue per user rather than emphasizing expanding the total customer base. But the company also faces a more immediate worry: India is reportedly banning Sea&#39;s top-selling <i>Free Fire</i> mobile game. Although Sea currently generates less than 3% of its gaming revenue in India, the country is potentially a big growth market for the company.</p><p>However, Sea has plenty of other avenues for growth -- both from a geographic and product standpoint. The company continues to enjoy strong momentum in Southeast Asia and Latin America. Its e-commerce and digital payments units are also key growth drivers in addition to its gaming business.</p><p>As was the case with PayPal, Sea Limited might not seem to be cheap based on commonly used valuation metrics. Economists polled by Reuters had forecast the monthly CPI picking up 0.7%.</p><p>Year-on-year, CPI surged 8.6%, its biggest gain since 1981 and following an 8.3% jump in May.</p><p>Stocks have been volatile this year, and recent selling has largely been tied to worries over inflation, rising interest rates and the likelihood of a recession.</p><p>&#34;Today&#39;s report should extinguish any pretense that a &#39;pause&#39; in rate hikes will likely be appropriate by the end of summer, as the Fed is clearly still behind the eight ball on bringing inflation under control,&#34; said Jason Pride, chief investment officer for private wealth at Glenmede in Philadelphia.</p><p>The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 880 points, or 2.73%, to 31,392.79; the S&amp;P 500 lost 116.96 points, or 2.91%, to 3,900.86; and the Nasdaq Composite dropped 414.20 points, or 3.52%, to 11,340.02.</p><p>The major indexes registered their biggest weekly percentage drops since the week ended Jan. 21, with the Dow down 4.58%, the S&amp;P 500 down 5.06% and the Nasdaq down 5.60% for the week.</p><p>The S&amp;P 500 is now down 18.2% for the year so far.</p><p>On Friday, the S&amp;P 500 growth index took a 3.7% hit, while the value index fell 2.2%.</p><p>The inflation report was published ahead of an anticipated second 50 basis points rate hike from the Fed on Wednesday. A further half-percentage-point is priced in for July, with a strong chance of a similar move in September.</p><p>One worry is that an aggressive push higher on rates by the Fed could send the economy into recession.</p><p>Among the day&#39;s losers, Netflix Inc slid 5.1% after Goldman downgraded the streaming video giant&#39;s stock to &#34;sell&#34;
