Fool","summary":"These stocks are poised for a successful year.","content":"<p>With so many investment opportunities available, investing in category leaders is a good place to start. These businesses are typically lauded by customers and have better pricing power than smaller, less established players.</p>\n<p>Three leading tech stocks are <b>Nvidia</b> (NASDAQ:NVDA), <b>Ansys </b>(NASDAQ:ANSS), and <b>Match Group </b>(NASDAQ:MTCH). Each has competitors in their respective fields, but none do it better than these companies.</p>\n<h2>Nvidia: The leader in graphics</h2>\n<p>Nvidia makes graphics processing units (GPUs) that have historically been used for generating 3D graphics in computers and gaming systems. Now, this powerful hardware is seeing its usage expand into other solutions like artificial intelligence (AI) and cloud computing, creating a larger market for Nvidia to capture. As much as 70% of the world's 500 current most powerful computers and 90% of new systems utilize Nvidia's GPUs.</p>\n<p>This leader has seen tremendous business success over the last few quarters. During its third quarter ending Oct. 31, it grew revenue 65.2% to $7.1 billion. Even more impressive is its accelerating gross margin.</p>\n<table border=\"1\">\n <tbody>\n <tr>\n <th colspan=\"5\">Quarterly Gross Margin</th>\n </tr>\n <tr>\n <th>Q3 FY22</th>\n <th>Q2 FY22</th>\n <th>Q1 FY22</th>\n <th>Q4 FY21</th>\n <th>Q3 FY21</th>\n </tr>\n <tr>\n <td>67%</td>\n <td>66.7%</td>\n <td>66.2%</td>\n <td>65.5%</td>\n <td>65.5%</td>\n </tr>\n </tbody>\n</table>\n<p>Data source: Nvidia.</p>\n<p>Accelerating gross margin demonstrates a business's ability to flex its pricing power. Whether it means raising consumer prices to generate more revenue, creating products more efficiently and lowering the cost of goods, or pressuring suppliers into cutting their prices, pricing power is Warren Buffett's \"single most important factor when evaluating a business.\"</p>\n<p>As more powerful computers are needed to support cloud infrastructure, Nvidia's market opportunity will increase in lockstep. Nvidia also has technology in the autonomous vehicle sector and the metaverse. With a best-in-class product line and involvement with some of the most exciting future developments, Nvidia is poised as a great investment.</p>\n<h2>Ansys: The leader in engineering simulations</h2>\n<p>In the past, trial and error was an expensive way to determine whether a part would work. However, there was no other way to test if an idea was valid. Now, engineers can run their design through simulation software to gain valuable insights and optimize the design, all while reducing development costs. Ansys is the leader in engineering simulation software and is double the size of its nearest competitor.</p>\n<p>While other competitors have multiple segments, Ansys is focused on simulation software. By keying in on this area, Ansys offers solutions in many fields like optical, semiconductors, and fluids where competitors offer a couple. This allows Ansys software programs to integrate with each other and create layered solutions like structural and thermal analysis on a circuit board. Tying in with Nvidia, computers utilize GPUs when running simulations, demonstrating another use case for Nvidia's products.</p>\n<p>Ansys' third-quarter revenue increased 20% and turned 86% of it into gross profit. This led to a GAAP and non-GAAP operating margin of 24.4% and 39.7%, showcasing its strong profitability. Looking forward to the fourth quarter, ANSYS guided negative revenue growth on the low end and 4% growth at the top. While this might disappoint investors, in the previous two years, ANSYS exceeded its top-end internal revenue guidance by 2.3% (2019) and 7.3% (2020). Past results aren't a perfect predictor of what will happen in the future, but management has been known to over-deliver.</p>\n<p>As products become more complex, engineering simulation use will only increase. Ansys is positioned to lead the way.</p>\n<h2>Match Group: The leader in online dating</h2>\n<p>Today, 40% of relationships begin online, according to Match Group, which has a strong foothold in the space. Business of Apps found Match Group's platforms made up five of the top seven U.S. dating apps, capturing 72% of total users. Match Group has also been innovating, adding features like voices to dating profiles and video rooms.</p>\n<p>Revenue increased by 25% during Q3, with the Asia-Pacific region driving the most growth at 59%. This region also generated the most revenue per payer (RPP) at $17.71. The Asia-Pacific region has a much higher population than the Americas and Europe, giving Match Group plenty of payers to capture.</p>\n<table border=\"1\">\n <tbody>\n <tr>\n <th colspan=\"3\">Paying Customers</th>\n </tr>\n <tr>\n <th>Region</th>\n <th>Payers (Millions)</th>\n <th>Growth (YOY)</th>\n </tr>\n <tr>\n <td>Americas</td>\n <td>8.309</td>\n <td>11%</td>\n </tr>\n <tr>\n <td>Europe</td>\n <td>4.710</td>\n <td>13%</td>\n </tr>\n <tr>\n <td>Asia-Pacific & Others</td>\n <td>3.284</td>\n <td>36%</td>\n </tr>\n </tbody>\n</table>\n<p>Data source: Match Group. YOY = year-over-year.</p>\n<p>With its most profitable region growing the fastest and a huge market opportunity, investors should be excited to see if Match can expand these results in 2022.</p>\n<h2>Winning in their categories</h2>\n<p>Over the last year, Nvidia has outperformed the market significantly, where Ansys and Match Group have struggled.</p>\n<p class=\"t-img-caption\"><img src=\"https://static.tigerbbs.com/52133a1a2318a7617c87b408c76ab815\" tg-width=\"720\" tg-height=\"387\" width=\"100%\" height=\"auto\"><span>NVDA data by YCharts</span></p>\n<p>After a down year, Ansys and Match Group investors will need to see some results or long-term investors may become impatient. Returns are correlated with quarterly results in the long run, so if Ansys and Match Group continue to execute, their stock performance will follow.</p>\n<p>Buying leaders like Nvidia, Ansys, and Match Group can be a formula for success as an investor. Each operates in an important industry with a tailwind blowing in their favor. As 2022 nears, consider buying these leaders with a mindset of holding for three to five years.</p>","source":"fool_stock","collect":0,"html":"<!DOCTYPE html>\n<html>\n<head>\n<meta http-equiv=\"Content-Type\" content=\"text/html; charset=utf-8\" />\n<meta name=\"viewport\" content=\"width=device-width,initial-scale=1.0,minimum-scale=1.0,maximum-scale=1.0,user-scalable=no\"/>\n<meta name=\"format-detection\" content=\"telephone=no,email=no,address=no\" />\n<title>3 Leading Tech Stocks to Buy in 2022 and Beyond</title>\n<style type=\"text/css\">\na,abbr,acronym,address,applet,article,aside,audio,b,big,blockquote,body,canvas,caption,center,cite,code,dd,del,details,dfn,div,dl,dt,\nem,embed,fieldset,figcaption,figure,footer,form,h1,h2,h3,h4,h5,h6,header,hgroup,html,i,iframe,img,ins,kbd,label,legend,li,mark,menu,nav,\nobject,ol,output,p,pre,q,ruby,s,samp,section,small,span,strike,strong,sub,summary,sup,table,tbody,td,tfoot,th,thead,time,tr,tt,u,ul,var,video{ font:inherit;margin:0;padding:0;vertical-align:baseline;border:0 }\nbody{ font-size:16px; line-height:1.5; color:#999; background:transparent; }\n.wrapper{ overflow:hidden;word-break:break-all;padding:10px; }\nh1,h2{ font-weight:normal; line-height:1.35; margin-bottom:.6em; }\nh3,h4,h5,h6{ line-height:1.35; margin-bottom:1em; }\nh1{ font-size:24px; }\nh2{ font-size:20px; }\nh3{ font-size:18px; }\nh4{ font-size:16px; }\nh5{ font-size:14px; }\nh6{ font-size:12px; }\np,ul,ol,blockquote,dl,table{ margin:1.2em 0; }\nul,ol{ margin-left:2em; }\nul{ list-style:disc; }\nol{ list-style:decimal; }\nli,li p{ margin:10px 0;}\nimg{ max-width:100%;display:block;margin:0 auto 1em; }\nblockquote{ color:#B5B2B1; border-left:3px solid #aaa; padding:1em; }\nstrong,b{font-weight:bold;}\nem,i{font-style:italic;}\ntable{ width:100%;border-collapse:collapse;border-spacing:1px;margin:1em 0;font-size:.9em; }\nth,td{ padding:5px;text-align:left;border:1px solid #aaa; }\nth{ font-weight:bold;background:#5d5d5d; }\n.symbol-link{font-weight:bold;}\n/* header{ border-bottom:1px solid #494756; } */\n.title{ margin:0 0 8px;line-height:1.3;color:#ddd; }\n.meta {color:#5e5c6d;font-size:13px;margin:0 0 .5em; }\na{text-decoration:none; color:#2a4b87;}\n.meta .head { display: inline-block; overflow: hidden}\n.head .h-thumb { width: 30px; height: 30px; margin: 0; padding: 0; border-radius: 50%; float: left;}\n.head .h-content { margin: 0; padding: 0 0 0 9px; float: left;}\n.head .h-name {font-size: 13px; color: #eee; margin: 0;}\n.head .h-time {font-size: 11px; color: #7E829C; margin: 0;line-height: 11px;}\n.small {font-size: 12.5px; display: inline-block; transform: scale(0.9); -webkit-transform: scale(0.9); transform-origin: left; -webkit-transform-origin: left;}\n.smaller {font-size: 12.5px; display: inline-block; transform: scale(0.8); -webkit-transform: scale(0.8); transform-origin: left; -webkit-transform-origin: left;}\n.bt-text {font-size: 12px;margin: 1.5em 0 0 0}\n.bt-text p {margin: 0}\n</style>\n</head>\n<body>\n<div class=\"wrapper\">\n<header>\n<h2 class=\"title\">\n3 Leading Tech Stocks to Buy in 2022 and Beyond\n</h2>\n\n<h4 class=\"meta\">\n\n\n2021-12-22 21:27 GMT+8 <a href=https://www.fool.com/investing/2021/12/22/3-leading-tech-stocks-to-buy-in-2022-and-beyond/><strong>Motley Fool</strong></a>\n\n\n</h4>\n\n</header>\n<article>\n<div>\n<p>With so many investment opportunities available, investing in category leaders is a good place to start. Though customers appear to be eager to purchase one, Nio stock's continued decline has resulted in a 22% drop in the stock's value over the past month. Today, shares dropped 1.03% and continued to slide 1.34% in extended hours. </p>\n<p>So what</p>\n<p>Nio hasn't put out any company-specific news today, but it introduced its new ET5 electric sedan last weekend, which it hopes will compete with <b>Tesla</b>'s(NASDAQ:TSLA)Model 3. WithTesla CEO Elon Musk making news again today, it may be that investors are shunning Nio shares for Tesla stock. But Nio has more than just the ET5 in its plans to expand from here.</p>\n<p>Now what</p>\n<p>Nio has increased its electric car deliveries by 120.4% through November 2021 versus the comparable year-ago period. But the best may still be yet to come. In addition to its new luxury ET7 sedan that will begin shipping in March 2022, the new ET5 is also expected to start deliveries in September 2022.</p>\n<p>The ET5 will be available with Nio's largest battery that will provide a range of up to about 620 miles on a single charge. And Nio CEO William Li told local media that the ET5, which was officially unveiled Saturday, has already become the most pre-ordered Nio model ever. That is according to CnEVPost, an industry news service focused on the Chinese EV sector.</p>\n<p>Nio also plans to move beyond China in 2022. Though customers appear to be eager to purchase one, Nio stock's continued decline has resulted in a 22% drop in the stock's value over the past month. Today, shares dropped 1.03% and continued to slide 1.34% in extended hours. \nSo what\nNio hasn't put out any company-specific news today, but it introduced its new ET5 electric sedan last weekend, which it hopes will compete with Tesla's(NASDAQ:TSLA)Model 3. WithTesla CEO Elon Musk making news again today, it may be that investors are shunning Nio shares for Tesla stock. But Nio has more than just the ET5 in its plans to expand from here.\nNow what\nNio has increased its electric car deliveries by 120.4% through November 2021 versus the comparable year-ago period. But the best may still be yet to come. In addition to its new luxury ET7 sedan that will begin shipping in March 2022, the new ET5 is also expected to start deliveries in September 2022.\nThe ET5 will be available with Nio's largest battery that will provide a range of up to about 620 miles on a single charge. And Nio CEO William Li told local media that the ET5, which was officially unveiled Saturday, has already become the most pre-ordered Nio model ever. That is according to CnEVPost, an industry news service focused on the Chinese EV sector.\nNio also plans to move beyond China in 2022. It already sells its vehicles in Norway and expects to be doing business in Germany, the Netherlands, Sweden, and Denmark in 2022. The company says it will have a presence in over 25 countries by 2025. Here's how the charts are setting up now.</p>\n<p>Tesla shares are rallying higher on Wednesday, up 7.5% and climbing back above $1,000 a share. That's got bulls cheering the stockâs recent run.</p>\n<p>On Tuesday, Tesla stock hit its lowest level since Oct. 22 and was down 27% from the highs.</p>\n<p>However, shares reversed off that low, climbing more than $50 a share by the close.</p>\n<p>That rally is extending itself Wednesday, with Tesla stock up more than 13% from yesterdayâs low.</p>\n<p>Tesla stock was in focus this morning ahead of the open, rallying several percent on the hope that CEO Elon Musk would be done selling his shares.</p>\n<p>Musk said that heâs âsold enoughâ to meet his prior pledge. Earlier this week, Musk said he will pay more than $11 billion in taxes this year.</p>\n<p>If Musk really is done selling the stock â and he should be â then that big headwind will be out of the way and we may see it rebound higher. Now that itâs back above $1,000, we have to wonder if Tesla can climb to new highs.</p>\n<p><b>Trading Tesla Stock</b></p>\n<p class=\"t-img-caption\"><img src=\"https://static.tigerbbs.com/e32b497a2bbfdad887112e45eeb92adb\" tg-width=\"1139\" tg-height=\"866\" width=\"100%\" height=\"auto\"><span>Daily chart of Tesla stock.</span></p>\n<p>The stock traded down into the $910 gap-fill level and prior all-time high at $900, and found its footing.</p>\n<p>If we get specific, the 21-week moving average and the 200-unit moving average on the four-hour chart were also nearby.</p>\n<p>In any regard, Tesla shares are ripping higher now, trading up through the 10-day moving average and hovering around the key $1,000 level, which has been a key pivot since late October.</p>\n<p>If it can maintain above $1,000, the next obvious area comes into play near $1,025 to $1,035. Here's how the charts are setting up now.\nTesla shares are rallying higher on Wednesday, up 7.5% and climbing back above $1,000 a share. That's got bulls cheering the stockâs recent run.\nOn Tuesday, Tesla stock hit its lowest level since Oct. 22 and was down 27% from the highs.\nHowever, shares reversed off that low, climbing more than $50 a share by the close.\nThat rally is extending itself Wednesday, with Tesla stock up more than 13% from yesterdayâs low.\nTesla stock was in focus this morning ahead of the open, rallying several percent on the hope that CEO Elon Musk would be done selling his shares.\nMusk said that heâs âsold enoughâ to meet his prior pledge. Earlier this week, Musk said he will pay more than $11 billion in taxes this year.\nIf Musk really is done selling the stock â and he should be â then that big headwind will be out of the way and we may see it rebound higher. Now that itâs back above $1,000, we have to wonder if Tesla can climb to new highs.\nTrading Tesla Stock\nDaily chart of Tesla stock.\nThe stock traded down into the $910 gap-fill level and prior all-time high at $900, and found its footing.\nIf we get specific, the 21-week moving average and the 200-unit moving average on the four-hour chart were also nearby.\nIn any regard, Tesla shares are ripping higher now, trading up through the 10-day moving average and hovering around the key $1,000 level, which has been a key pivot since late October.\nIf it can maintain above $1,000, the next obvious area comes into play near $1,025 to $1,035. There Tesla stock finds its 21-day and 50-day moving averages.\nThat should be an area to take a pause, but if Tesla is able to push through this zone, then the $1,100 level and downtrend resistance (blue line) are in play.\nOn the downside, letâs see if shares struggle with $1,000. In that case, I want to see the now-rising 10-day moving average act as support on the dips.\nIf it doesnât, then the stock could go on to fill the gap down near $940.\nThereâs one other thing: If Tesla rallies up to the 21-day and 50-day moving averages but canât push through, letâs see if the $1,000 mark and the 10-day moving average act as support.","news_type":1},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":541,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":9000635175,"gmtCreate":1640141995312,"gmtModify":1676533503383,"author":{"id":"4101521670374310","authorId":"4101521670374310","name":"Grace1206","avatar":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/f9e7a8d35ce12a6680db6700f80e6aa1","crmLevel":1,"crmLevelSwitch":0,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"4101521670374310","authorIdStr":"4101521670374310"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"Like","listText":"Like","text":"Like","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":0,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/9000635175","repostId":"1148289841","repostType":4,"repost":{"id":"1148289841","kind":"news","weMediaInfo":{"introduction":"Stock Market Quotes, Business News, Financial News, Trading Ideas, and Stock Research by Professionals","home_visible":0,"media_name":"Benzinga","id":"1052270027","head_image":"https://static.tigerbbs.com/d08bf7808052c0ca9deb4e944cae32aa"},"pubTimestamp":1640085374,"share":"https://ttm.financial/m/news/1148289841?lang=&edition=fundamental","pubTime":"2021-12-21 19:16","market":"us","language":"en","title":"Aldeyra's Dry Eye Disease Candidate Disappoints In Late-Stage Study","url":"https://stock-news.laohu8.com/highlight/detail?id=1148289841","media":"Benzinga","summary":"Aldeyra Therapeutics Inc reported topline data from Phase 3 TRANQUILITY Trial of reproxalap ophthalm","content":"<p><b>Aldeyra Therapeutics Inc</b> reported topline data from Phase 3 TRANQUILITY Trial of reproxalap ophthalmic solution for dry eye disease.</p>\n<ul>\n <li>The trial failed to meet the primary endpoint of ocular redness, but it did achieve statistical significance for the dry eye disease sign of the Schirmer test, a secondary endpoint.</li>\n <li>Statistical significance was also achieved for the post-hoc assessment of Schirmer test responders of over 10 mm.</li>\n <li>The primary endpoint of the upcoming Phase 3 TRANQUILITY-2 trial has been modified such that the endpoint will have been met if either the Schirmer test or ocular redness demonstrates statistical significance.</li>\n <li>In addition, target enrollment in TRANQUILITY-2 has been increased from 300 to up to 400 patients.
