The cryptocurrency exchange, reveling in a triple-digit gain over the last six months, got caught by a lawsuit from the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). It has been accused of operating as an unregistered securities dealer and broker, and the company faces a significant challenge.

Coinbase, unflinching in its response, denies the allegations. CEO Brian Armstrong has pledged to contest the Wall Street regulator in court. However, this judicial shadow introduces a chilling uncertainty over both the company and its COIN stock. Further complicating the situation, another lawsuit, backed by 11 states, compels Coinbase to justify its operations and defend its right to continue trading cryptocurrencies. With the company’s primary revenue stream under threat, these legal hurdles risk magnifying its massive losses.

Snap (SNAP)

Even as Snap’s (NYSE: SNAP) daily active users flourish, the platform appears stuck in a monetization quandary. Not long ago, the tech giant had reduced its annual dividend from $1.46 per share to a humble 50 cents per share, following its negative cash flow in 2022.

Intel’s journey to regain lost ground is turning out to be a turbulent voyage for shareholders. The company’s shares continue languishing in the red, with its top and bottom-line losses creeping up spectacularly. You should only invest in small-cap cryptos if you have a reasonable argument in favor of said project being valued ten times more than it currently is. Investing in most under-the-radar cryptos is similar to gambling, and I recommend that you put no more than 5% of your portfolio into such assets.

Conversely, many tokens in the cryptocurrency market are dull, as established projects have little upside potential. Bitcoin’s(BTC-USD)standard deviation is closer to some cyclical tech stocks, and investing in big-cap cryptos has little prospect of generating multibagger gains. Thus, the argument for investing in under-the-radar cryptos in search of multibaggers isn’t bad, given that you are ready to lose your capital in a worst-case scenario.

With that in mind, consider the following three under-the-radar cryptos if you are in search of promising new projects:

Emblem (EMB-USD)

Emblem(EMB-USD) is likely the riskiest market idea I can think of right now. The project is highly-promising, but has suffered due to poor marketing and developer-delayed upgrades.

First, let’s talk about why it’s “highly-promising.” The crypto’s Overline project is a metaverse project with remarkable utility, such as the ability to transfer digital collectibles from one chain to another, and access the network without the internet. This is possible through the “ōRouter,” the first Web3 router that allows people to “Access native Bitcoin, Ethereum(ETH-USD), DeFi, Digital Collectibles, and much more without an internet or cellular connection,” “Communicate with friends, access social media, and read the news even if the internet goes down,” and “Trade crypto across chains without an intermediary.”

Pre-orders are currently available, and I doubt the technology could actually work. After all, most crypto projects are indeed filled with empty promises. However, if things are delivered as promised, EMB will likely be a multibagger investment, and I advise you to look further into the project if you are interested in buying these tokens.

Terareum (TERA-USD)

Terareum(TERA-USD) is another project that looks oversold due to its recent launch of the TeraExchange. The exchange could be the most significant growth driver of the project as it offers many features, such as debit cards, spot trading, and utilities, such as margin, futures, and staking. It also states on its website that it plans to launch its own bank and non-fungible token exchange in the future. If successful, TERA will likely surge as it’ll be the first “crypto bank.”

There are even more ambitions for the project. Namely, the Tera blockchain, which is expected to be launched in Q3, along with the Tera card. This opens the pathway for a possible Google and Apple pay integration. Thus, Terareum has many prospects to back its current price, and I don’t see significant downside risk from here. The Terareum project is scheduled to launch in the United States and the European Union on Jan. 25, on its own decentralized platform.

In the next cycle, Terareum’s Terapool could also aid the token’s price, as many new crypto projects will require funding, while institutional investors are likely to invest in the new Tera blockchain. Overall, the project has many solid prospects, and I recommend exploring this token further.

Nano (NANO, XNO-USD)

Nano(NANO-USD,XNO-USD) is the better-established of the three under-the-radar cryptos, but also suffers from poor marketing. The specialty of this project is that the Nano blockchain allows users to transact almost instantly, with no gas fees or costs. This is probably what newbies first imagined when getting into cryptocurrencies.

The blockchain is infinitely-scalable and highly-decentralized due to Nano’s status as a peer-to-peer network. You should only invest in small-cap cryptos if you have a reasonable argument in favor of said project being valued ten times more than it currently is. Investing in most under-the-radar cryptos is similar to gambling, and I recommend that you put no more than 5% of your portfolio into such assets.Conversely, many tokens in the cryptocurrency market are dull, as established projects have little upside potential. With that in mind, consider the following three under-the-radar cryptos if you are in search of promising new projects:Emblem (EMB-USD)Emblem(EMB-USD) is likely the riskiest market idea I can think of right now. The project is highly-promising, but has suffered due to poor marketing and developer-delayed upgrades.First, let’s talk about why it’s “highly-promising.” The crypto’s Overline project is a metaverse project with remarkable utility, such as the ability to transfer digital collectibles from one chain to another, and access the network without the internet. This is possible through the “ōRouter,” the first Web3 router that allows people to “Access native Bitcoin, Ethereum(ETH-USD), DeFi, Digital Collectibles, and much more without an internet or cellular connection,” “Communicate with friends, access social media, and read the news even if the internet goes down,” and “Trade crypto across chains without an intermediary.”Pre-orders are currently available, and I doubt the technology could actually work. After all, most crypto projects are indeed filled with empty promises. However, if things are delivered as promised, EMB will likely be a multibagger investment, and I advise you to look further into the project if you are interested in buying these tokens.Terareum (TERA-USD)Terareum(TERA-USD) is another project that looks oversold due to its recent launch of the TeraExchange. The exchange could be the most significant growth driver of the project as it offers many features, such as debit cards, spot trading, and utilities, such as margin, futures, and staking. It also states on its website that it plans to launch its own bank and non-fungible token exchange in the future. If successful, TERA will likely surge as it’ll be the first “crypto bank.”There are even more ambitions for the project. Overall, the project has many solid prospects, and I recommend exploring this token further.Nano (NANO, XNO-USD)Nano(NANO-USD,XNO-USD) is the better-established of the three under-the-radar cryptos, but also suffers from poor marketing. Not only that, but Nano is relatively green, requiring very little energy to run compared to proof-of-work cryptocurrencies.Nonetheless, there is a downside to everything, and the biggest downside to Nano is that the blockchain lacks smart contract functionality. The only use case of Nano is that it is purely a payment method, nothing else. Thus, it would take crypto becoming a mainstream payment method for Nano to be a multibagger. That is certainly possible in the long run, though not guaranteed.","news_type":1},"isVote":1,"tweetType":1,"viewCount":344,"authorTweetTopStatus":1,"verified":2,"comments":[],"imageCount":0,"langContent":"EN","totalScore":0},{"id":9958600953,"gmtCreate":1673706290572,"gmtModify":1676538876780,"author":{"id":"4134609481961942","authorId":"4134609481961942","name":"kasrani marni","avatar":"https://community-static.tradeup.com/news/default-avatar.jpg","crmLevel":1,"crmLevelSwitch":1,"followedFlag":false,"idStr":"4134609481961942","authorIdStr":"4134609481961942"},"themes":[],"htmlText":"[Salute] [Allin] ","listText":"[Salute] [Allin] ","text":"[Salute] [Allin]","images":[],"top":1,"highlighted":1,"essential":1,"paper":1,"likeSize":0,"commentSize":0,"repostSize":0,"link":"https://ttm.financial/post/9958600953","repostId":"1166113910","repostType":4,"repost":{"id":"1166113910","pubTimestamp":1673564698,"share":"https://ttm.financial/m/news/1166113910?lang=&edition=fundamental","pubTime":"2023-01-13 07:04","market":"us","language":"en","title":"Apple CEO’s Pay Cut 40% in 2023 After Shareholder Feedback","url":"https://stock-news.laohu8.com/highlight/detail?id=1166113910","media":"Bloomberg","summary":"Company says that Tim Cook himself requested the changeCEO stands to make about $49 million in 2023 ","content":"

Company says that Tim Cook himself requested the change

CEO stands to make about $49 million in 2023 compensation

Tim Cook. Tech stocks have effectively managed to swim against the current, showcasing an uptick, despite forewarnings of a couple of interest rate hikes in 2023. Investors, eager for signs of recovery, toasted the revival of the tech bull market.

However, the shadows of a tumultuous 2022 continue to loom over the tech industry. Despite its undeniable allure, the sector saw a staggering $4.6 trillion shrink in market capitalization over the last year. Although the climate has somewhat improved this year, recession indicators and a reliable barometer of consecutive unemployment rates indicate potential economic strife.

Therefore, it’s imperative to consider avoiding tech stocks that continue to dance on the edge of instability. Investors need to sidestep the ones destined for disaster, keeping a watchful eye over the market.

Coinbase (COIN)

Coinbase (NASDAQ: COIN) has been one of the top momentum stocks since the start of the year but now grapples with storm clouds on its horizon.

Its recent quarterly report unveiled a worrying 7% drop in sales and a 4.5% cost of revenue. With a profitability record that’s been stuck in the mud over the past few years, its window of opportunity for monetizing its users seems to be creaking shut.

Though Meta Platforms (NASDAQ: META) cornerstone service, Facebook, continues to witness lukewarm user growth, its diversified suite, including Instagram, Messenger, and Facebook Marketplace, makes it a dynamic user ecosystem that is hard to escape.

However, Snap doesn’t boast such a protective moat, facing a constant threat of its diversified rivals’ poaching users. Investors need to sidestep the ones destined for disaster, keeping a watchful eye over the market.Coinbase (COIN)Coinbase (NASDAQ: COIN) has been one of the top momentum stocks since the start of the year but now grapples with storm clouds on its horizon. The cryptocurrency exchange, reveling in a triple-digit gain over the last six months, got caught by a lawsuit from the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). It has been accused of operating as an unregistered securities dealer and broker, and the company faces a significant challenge.Coinbase, unflinching in its response, denies the allegations. With the company’s primary revenue stream under threat, these legal hurdles risk magnifying its massive losses.Snap (SNAP)Even as Snap’s (NYSE: SNAP) daily active users flourish, the platform appears stuck in a monetization quandary. Its recent quarterly report unveiled a worrying 7% drop in sales and a 4.5% cost of revenue. With a profitability record that’s been stuck in the mud over the past few years, its window of opportunity for monetizing its users seems to be creaking shut.Though Meta Platforms (NASDAQ: META) cornerstone service, Facebook, continues to witness lukewarm user growth, its diversified suite, including Instagram, Messenger, and Facebook Marketplace, makes it a dynamic user ecosystem that is hard to escape. However, Snap doesn’t boast such a protective moat, facing a constant threat of its diversified rivals’ poaching users. The wise investor might now consider disembarking before the ship navigates into stormier waters.Intel (INTC)In a bold bid to hold its own against semiconductor giants, Intel (NASDAQ: INTC) embarked on a remarkably risky course, burning through cash at a distressing rate.
