Netflix Beat, Raised Ad Sales, But Stock Might Take A Breather

Netflix reported earnings after the bell and dipped slightly, even with a strong 16% revenue jump last quarter. Net profit rose 46%, but investors seemed more focused on margins. The streaming giant—now worth more than $Warner Bros. Discovery(WBD)$ and $Walt Disney(DIS)$ combined—posted an impressive 34% operating margin in Q2. However, that might not last. Netflix guided for a full-year margin of 29.5%, just below Wall Street’s 29.7% expectation. This marks $Netflix(NFLX)$’s sixth straight quarter of double-digit revenue growth, and ad revenue is still expected to double this year. Still, after a big rally while other sectors struggled in spring, the stock may take

Was $MSTR's $543 Last Night the Peak?

No one knows for sure—it could pull back for a bit and then rally to new highs. Anything is possible.During the last cycle, $MicroStrategy(MSTR)$ peaked well before Bitcoin. MSTR hit its high on February 9, 2021, while BTC peaked later—first on April 14 and again on November 10. By the time BTC reached its two highs, MSTR had already dropped 45% and 38% respectively from its February peak. The sharper MSTR rises, the harder it falls—last night must have been a tough lesson for many. Why I Sold MSTR but Kept $Coinbase Global, Inc.(COIN)$:BTC remains bullish: I’m still optimistic about BTC spot prices. Whether it hits 100k, 200k, or even 300k, I’m not too concerned.Different logic for $COIN: Unlike MSTR, COIN

50% profit on a 2x ETF—nice work! Just curious, how far do you see the downside going?
@微风轻扬:I made a 51% profit in MSTX within a week and have now closed my position. MSTX is a 2x leveraged version of MSTR, and while MSTR’s market cap is $100 billion, its Bitcoin holdings are only worth $33 billion, meaning the stock is overvalued by about three times. Given this discrepancy, I decided the risk of holding on was too high and opted to lock in my profits.

Estée Lauder's stock has plunged 83% from its all-time high of $374 to $68.94, prompting many to wonder if it’s time to buy in. But the key question is: How strong is consumer demand for Estée Lauder products, especially in its core market segments? The fiscal Q1 2025 earnings report provides insight:Revenue and Profit:Revenue was $3.36 billion, down 10% year-over-year, impacted by currency effects and a slow recovery in Asia’s travel retail sector.Net loss of $156 million contrasts sharply with last year’s profit. Adjusted EPS came in at $0.14, slightly above estimates, though revenue fell short of projections.Product Category Performance:Skin Care: Sales dropped 8%, largely due to low demand in China and Asian travel retail. La Mer and Estée Lauder brands struggled, though Europe and the
