$Alibaba(09988)$I feel the dual listing should be positive for 9988 but unfortunately it is hit by Jack Ma n delisting news plus forecast of weak numbers on 4th Aug. Longer term dual listing hedge the delisting risk plus open up mainlanders support so I think it is good news.my 2 cents worth.
$Alibaba(09988)$The faster the Chinese companies have dual listings the better as then they will be less at the whims n fancy of US threats to delist them. I believe within the next 5 years, HKEX will become a major exchange for these Chinese companies n not depend on US.
$Alibaba(09988)$BABA is always trading at a discount to 9988 due to western bias and fear of US delisting. The dual primary listing is a brilliant move to remove this fear of delisting n the faster it connects to mainland investors the better it will be for Alibaba shares. However, the biggest beneficiary should go to 388 with more US listed Chinese companies following suit to list in HK.
