I’ve added to my Tesla position as the company strengthens its product lineup in China despite intensifying competition. Tesla recently confirmed the upcoming launch of the Model Y L, a six-seat version of its best-selling Model Y, along with a longer-range Model 3. While July sales of China-made EVs dropped 8.4% amid a fierce price war, these refreshed models highlight Tesla’s strategy to maintain demand and counter rivals like Xiaomi’s new YU7. I see this as a move to bolster Tesla’s market share and sustain long-term growth.
