$NIO Inc.(NIO)$ Er… no. NIO does not have to prove anything. Their relationship with Weineng has also been clarified and clearly stated in their financial reports for the past 4 years.

It is GIC’s fiduciary duty to pursue the lawsuit even if they do not have a strong case simply because they lost money for Singapore. It’s to show that they done something about it.

If you’re truly interested about learning the case in detail and not simply just pumping out posts, you can research more on Reddit.

$NIO Inc.(NIO)$ should disclose all details of its relationship with Weineng and clarify revenue recognition practices.  If necessary Nio should publish audited statements to rebuild trust.

Nio must now prove its integrity so that GIC can reconsider to drop its lawsuit against Nio.

In business Trust and Reputation is very important.
