Netflix is back on track with a positive earnings forecast even though it suffered 2 consecutive quarters of subscriber losses.
Netflix lost 970,000 paid subscribers in 2Q 2022, instead of the expected 2 million subscribers it earlier estimated.
Investors cheered because Netflix said that it forecasted a rebound due to new initiatives like launching lower price ad supported option and cracking down on password sharing. Netflix is also stressing the importance of generating hit shows and movies to draw new customers.
