To The Moon

Mr Musk who is so used to living in his own world in USA might have overlooked that European staffs are well protected by their Union. Just like inJapan. The companies must have a super strongcase to retrench their staff. I only knew about it when I spoke to my European and Japan colleagues where some of them have stroke or heart attack while at work especially overseas trips. My company bears all the charges of medical bills and even flew them home - of course, medics airplane. Then the company still continue to pay for their medical bills and salary till a time where it is beyond the employees' ability ie can't function theirdaily work routines. That's the time where the union decided that my company has done their best after x years and it was a happy parting. 

It is always sad to hear people fall sick - I mean really sick ie stroke, heart attack etc etc while at work. This makes me realised one thing - money is not everything but health. Hence, we as an employee, have the right to refuse business trips even to Bangladesh or Pakistan or even Moscow due to security reasons. Safety comes first for the employee. I was lucky to make a trip to Bangladesh - a real eye opening for me; more than india. Iwitnessed them climbing to the bus roof top and even trains. I was speechless and worried for them - cold sweat .. but it was a piece of cake for them.

Hygiene is an issue hence I m very selective on where and what I eat. Whereas, my male colleaguedidn't give a damn and he suffered diarrhoea a day before we board the plane and throughout his journey back to SG. Pity the chap as it was his first overseas trip to such country whereas I m a seasonal traveller to ulu or low hygiene standard countries hence I survived with flying colours. 😇🙏🤭
