  NIO Inc. , a pioneer and a leading company in the premium smart electric vehicle market, today announced its May 2024 delivery results.NIO delivered 20,544 vehicles in May 2024, representing a substantial increase of 233.8% year-over-year. The deliveries consisted of 12,164 premium smart electric SUVs, and 8,380 premium smart electric sedans. Cumulative deliveries of NIO vehicles reached 515,811 as of May 31, 2024.

  $Tesla Motors(TSLA)$ TSLA a lost people... I have decided to eat the lose and kill this infection off... Long term growth damaged, mid term, damaged $140 here, I gather it will hit that for a # of reasons... (My Personal Opinion) TSLA moves like today economy period but with a downtrend... (Edited a little for reason this comment was suggest as an idea 🤣 PLEASE dont idea my rants lol..) thoughy to myself should I publish edit this piece and add my Non-advice perdictions. $166 (Low) - $160 (Break and all that low good stuff) $170 (High) - $176 (Magic with a Slice of Elon Pie [LOL] )

  Oh well onwards and upwards Elon, Not the first we've heard of The Warren and Charlie duo speak ill of the Ambitious EV King in the pass! and yet he still surviving. Counting the CHN EV competition, Endevour of social media, TSLA employment restructure etc. even those two couldnt denie the valianty of Elon.. Elon Risk Reward comes with a price. This is not a HUGE! lose. Something tells me that answer was expect. I am curious in his next Swing at the Pitches indeed... will it be the obvious picks or one out of a hat...

  The latest results from Berkshire Hathaway shows that the conglomerate had nearly $200 billion - $189 billion, to be precise -in cash at the end of the first quarter.That's after Warren Buffett and co. trimmed its stake in giants including Apple and Chevron. "We only swing at pitches we like," Buffett said this weekend.Elon Musk has an idea on how some of that Berkshire Hathaway cash can be deployed - Tesla , which of course is the company he runs. That’s because Tesla’s shares have far different characteristics than the kind of stocks that Buffett over the years has favored. While this is no guarantee that Berkshire wouldn’t purchase Tesla stock, it would be highly out of character for Buffett to do so. (Multiple attempts to seek comment from Berkshire Hathaway were unsuccessful.)</p><p>We know the kind of stocks Buffett favors because of a study that appeared six years ago in the Financial Analysts Journal. Entitled “Buffett’s Alpha,” the study was conducted by three principals at AQR Capital Management, each of whom has strong academic credentials: Andrea Frazzini, David Kabiller, and Lasse Pedersen.</p><p>These researchers in effect unlocked the secret of Buffett’s long-term success. Up until their study appeared, no one had succeeded in devising a set of stock-picking criteria that, in backtesting, would have performed as well as Berkshire Hathaway. Many had concluded that Buffett’s success was dependent on his unique insight and could not be duplicated.</p><p>In essence, stocks satisfy the criteria to the extent they simultaneously have low price-to-book ratios and betas, and high dividend-payout ratios and growth rates of profits.</p><p>Tesla satisfies just one of the requisite criteria for these “cheap, safe, quality stocks”: Its profits have grown impressively over the past five years. It fails the other criteria: Its price-to-book ratio is one of the highest in the market — higher than 88% of the other stocks in the S&amp;P 1500 index, according to FactSet data; furthermore, Tesla’s beta is higher than 94% of the stocks in that index, and it pays no dividend.</p><p>Given this, it seems most unlikely that Tesla stock would be the “occasional big opportunity” that Buffett mentioned in this past weekend’s Berkshire Hathaway annual meeting as what he’s looking for in order to put some of the company’s nearly $200 billion cash hoard to work. “We only swing at pitches we like,” Buffett said.</p><p style=\"text-align: start;\">Increasing the confidence in this conclusion is the out-of-sample performance of the stock-picking criteria the researchers devised. There are two funds that come close to putting those criteria into practice, and both closely match Berkshire’s return: They are the AQR Large Cap Defensive Style Fund AUEIX and the iShares Edge MSCI USA Quality Factor ETF.
