Because of their volume, they can increase their retail price by 5 cents and profits go up by billions. There is a good reason all major institutions hold Amazon as their number one or top 5 position. Miners were selling more of their supply at the beginning of the month, but it has slowed down. Lower supply will begin to drive prices higher. In the news: Vanguard, originally against a spot Bitcoin ETF, has replaced their CEO with Salim Ramji, the BlackRock exec who was key in the IBIT launch. New Hampshire is considering allocating a portion of reserves to Bitcoin ETFs. My guess is many state pension plans are considering investment into the spot ETFs as well. An upcoming bipartisan Senate vote will likely overturn the SEC's SAB 121 ruling that effectively prevents banks from taking custody of Bitcoin.
