Q1 shows good results. Higher profit margin is unexpected since the raw material cost went up high. Goes to show how well Tesla is at controlling their cost by planning in advance. Their management of the supply chain is good as well. Other auto makers had huge reduction in delivery due to supply chain issues. But Q2 earnings will be interesting. The 22 days of shutdown in Shanghai and they will also need time to ramp up the delivery after that. Their supply chain may face issues since the supporting industry might not be able to resume production as fast as Tesla. Tesla had commented that supply chain issue will be ongoing till end of 2022. Enjoy the Q1 earnings and look forward to Q2 on how Tesla manage the delivery.
