I feel sad for those being layoffs even though my company is recruiting non stop and was so worried that we might jump ship elsewhere. Service orientated company. different type of audiences. For those tendering up resignation, they are being counteroffer. Those who are low profile, management will ask why we stay and we leave. We practiced open door policy and mentioned money, good benefits and environment etc etc as main reasons for staying. Lottery, retirement and money as reasons for leaving.
