By WSJ Staff

IAG (UK:IAG): Shares of the British Airways parent dropped after London's Heathrow Airport, a major hub, was closed due to a power outage. Shares of other airlines- including Air France-KLM (FR:AF), EasyJet (UK: EZJ) and Lufthansa (XE:LHA)-fell, as the closure led to a cascade of flight disruptions around the world.

Nike $(NKE)$: The sportswear brand said it expects its sales decline to accelerate, as it continues to push discounts to clear inventory. Shares fell in premarket trading.

FedEx $(FDX)$: The package-shipping company cut its outlook for the year, citing soft demand for business-to-business shipments and economic uncertainty. Shares fell off-hours.

Carnival $(CCL)$: The cruise operator is due to report earnings early Friday. Investors have been nervous about travel demand since Delta Air Lines cut its quarterly outlook this month.
