Electricity power stocks lit up midday trading today. Hua Dian Power ($HUADIAN POWER 01071.HK$) charged up by 1.59%, while Huaneng Power ($HUANENG POWER 00902.HK$) saw an increase of 2.33%, and Da Tang Electric Power ($DATANG POWER 00991.HK$) surged close to 1%.

Great Wall Motors ($GWMOTOR 02333.HK$) has made its debut in Mexico and has officially entered the Mexican market.

Air China ($AIR CHINA 00753.HK$) reported a fire incident on flight CA403. Preliminary investigations suggest that the fire was due to mechanical failure in the engine.
