The Q3 earnings season will really get going when the big banks start coming out with their quarterly numbers in 13-October.
Now I invite you to take a closer look at next week's top 20 stocks that are expected to post positive EPS that could exceed data from the same period last year.
1. Why EPS Matters?
Earnings per share(EPS), refers to the income per share brought to investors/shareholders in the open market.
EPS is calculated as a company's profit divided by the outstanding shares of its common stock. The resulting number serves as an indicator of a company's profitability.
Investors like companies with high profitability, and the market always rewards those earnings results that beat the estimates. Hope the following content helps you learn more about good companies.

Performance wise JPMorgan 's share price is up 2.8% in the past 5 days and 41% in 1 year.
JPMorgan is expected to post revenue of USD 39.64 billion and earnings of USD 3.87 per share compared to revenue of USD 32.72 billion and earnings of USD 3.12 per share in the same quarter in 2022.
Wall Street Analysts are bullish on JPMorgan with a Buy rating, Target price of USD 169.45, a 15% upside potential.
JPMorgan is the bellwether of the US economy and all eyes will be on Jamie Dimon, CEO this Friday when he presents the 3rd quarter earnings results. I can't wait to see what he has to say especially the state of the US economy going forward.
