$Advanced Micro Devices(AMD)$ First, AMD has Infinity Architecture for internal linking running at almost 1TB/s (896GB)... Second, Ethernet is still the interconnect king for HPC and now Ultra Ethernet is coming...

I'm not really sure where GenZ went as there were some prototype devices a year or two ago... That was meant to be the next open standard...

Then,I was referring to AMD as of the past 5 years and not just present. I do forget that AMD's market cap is actually higher than Intel as it's still below 30% market share in CPU overall still. There is still a lot of room for growth there.

AMD's R&D budget is for all things so it's still likely much smaller specifically for CPU only relative to Intel if you can actually break it down.

AMD's main partnership with TSM has paid massive dividends in the CPU space and is about to do the same in the GPU space I suspect.
