$Tesla Motors(TSLA)$ 

A few other posts of mine have probably given you an idea that im not a fan of tesla, EVs and elton musk (but to be fair, i have never met elton, so its not fair for me to comment on him). But i do believe i need to justify my opinion on why I don't think Tesla is a winner.

So, when i do due diligence on a stock, one of the most important components is to understand the industry. So im just going to discuss the robo Taxies for the mo, because thats "apparently" the savior for tesla going forward. 

So i know a person that runs a taxi company. I asked her yesterday actually, what are be biggest issues for you business. Her reply was Maintainence costs on vehicles, regulation and staff. Ok so lets keep it a bit simple and drop the staff issue for the mo, all businesses have staffing issues, and Eltons actions today, or yesterday OMG to rock up to work, have your id scanned and told your fired, um if thats true, it's beyond bad.

But ok lets talk Maintainence, because i then asked the owner of the taxi company have you looked into replacing your fleet we EVs. Her response was simply Maintainence of efficient gas vehicle are a known cost, whereas the cost to replace a battery bank is 10x to 12x more, distance coverage and recharge times, just dont stack up.

Then theres regulation, tesla has not even begun the process of dealing with this. Her biggest issue is she has significant costs associated with regulation, yet an uber driver has little to no costs. Dam a driverless car, can you even contemplate the additional costs there.

So long story short, good luck cathy woods, you think robo Taxies are the best thing since the wheel was invented, i think its kinda more like the hydrogen bomb, great idea... but everything dies
