I think diversifying portfolio is important and it's safer.

Also just as crucial to invest in companies that have good management.

market always trend up and down, can swing either way. it's those companies that are stable will survive even during the down time.

I've learned to not panic when market is down and it's an opportunity to purchase more at a good price and be patience.to ride out the storm
