Ever since, he long time partner had passed away. Maybe he wan t to have more cash on hand to enjoy life or he may have some other options rather than put all the money under one basket.

He is always looking for depressed valuation. The only place he can find is probably a US market crash in 2025. Don't think he can find any of those this year, except China/HK market of which he doesn't invest.
