Well, let's then have a look at how some of them made their stock predictions at that time!
@koolgal Bearish on INTC(27 Jul): +10.26%
$Intel(INTC)$
is the biggest beneficiary of the US Chips Act with USD 8.5 Billion in direct funding and the option to receive federal loans of up to USD 11 billion. The proposed funding will help Intel advance its commercial Semiconductor projects in Arizona, New Mexico, Ohio and Oregon. Intel also has plans to invest more than USD 100 billion in the US over 5 years to expand its chip production capacity and capabilities and accelerate AI technologies. Intel is hoping that 2024 would be the trough year for operating losses in its struggling Foundry business. Intel deepened an operating loss to USD 7 billion in 2023 from a loss of USD 5.2 billion in 2022 on a year over year revenue drop to USD 18.9 billion.
Performance wise Intel is up 0.8% on Friday but is down 5% in the last week. It has lost 34% year todate and in 2023, it dropped 8%.
Wall Street Analysts are bullish on Intel with a Buy rating, Average Target price of USD 39.80, an upside potential of 28%.
Intel is set to report its Q2 24 earnings on Thursday, August 1.
@Spiders Bearish on AMZN(31 Jul): +15.47%
$Amazon.com(AMZN)$
I believe Amazon could potentially return to $200 after the upcoming earnings report, provided the results are strong. This possibility hinges on good earnings, which would likely boost investor confidence and drive the stock price higher. However, predicting stock movements is inherently uncertain, especially since the earnings report has not yet been released. Despite this potential, I find myself hesitant to invest in Amazon at the current price. My reluctance stems from a psychological barrier. I missed the opportunity to buy when the stock was near its 52-week low and now I am wary of purchasing at a higher price.
Instead, I am hoping the company exceeds earnings expectations and sees a subsequent increase in its stock price. This would reward those who currently hold the stock. I would be genuinely happy for those investors.

[Notes]
1. Your content must be ORIGINAL and get [IDEA] or [PICK] in the Tiger Community to be eligible for the rewards. Besides, your post must be strongly related to the stock, and you need to state the reasons why you are bullish/bearish on it. The bullish or bearish reason for each stock must be over 200 characters, and it needs to be clear, detailed, and specific, with more extensive explanations preferred. General or vague reasons, such as "I am bullish on stock XX because the technical indicators are oversold" or "I am bearish on stock XX because its fundamentals are poor," will be considered invalid.
2. The cost price of your (simulated) position will be the stock price when you make a prediction post. The Rate or Return(RoR) will be calculated by your cost price & the week's close price of that stock you make predictions on.
3. For a single stock, you may make predictions multiple times, but only the last one will be counted. Initial prices are based on the time you post, and the prices recorded are the closing prices on Friday.
If you post before trading hours, the price is based on the opening price of that day.
If you post after trading hours, the price is based on the next opening price.
4.You can provide a comprehensive analysis and predict multiple highly correlated stocks to increase your chances of winning.For example, you can write an original analysis on the semiconductor industry and correlate it with the bullish or bearish stance on multiple semiconductor stocks such as AMD, NVDA, SOXX, and so on.
5. You may make predictions on all the stocks available (around 100 tickers), and the highest five RoRs will be counted in the Overall Weekly Prediction ranking. For individual stock rankings, regardless of how many stocks you predict, only the top 5 highest RoRs can make it to the list each week.
6.The distribution time for the vouchers will be sent in 10 days after the release of the list. Please be patient and wait for it.
