Emotional Investor

My how things have changed since I wrote this article in June this year. Options trading where I mainly buy call options in growth stocks like $Rocket Lab USA, Inc.(RKLB)$  and$SoFi Technologies Inc.(SOFI)$ then sell some so I can excise others has paid off big time

@Emotional Investor$RKLB 20260116 2.0 CALL$ Ok so this was the very first options trade I wrote, over a month ago. As you can see I went long, jan 2026, and paid $2.50 for a $2 Right to buy. I have a huge amount of confidence in rocket lab going forward and my intention for this call is to hold it and excise it. Well that was my original intention. But woot, it's now officially in the money today. I'm clearly a bunny when it comes to options. And loving the comments I get from you guys that help me to expand my knowledge. I'm thinking and have actually since this first option trade... looked to cheaper and shorter term trades, but I'm pleased to see the first one, and actually all of my calls so far being in positive territory now. But this trade is my first in the money, so I'm stoked. Rocket lab is a stock that isn't that liquid, probably not the best pick I know more experienced options traders would probably say. But I understand the potential of this company well. Years ago, I recall a mate of mine gambling on the jee Jees (horses) I thought he was an idiot but reluctantly went with him to the track on day. We began the day in the stables, meeting with some of the trainers, and lol the horses. It changed my opinion of my friends gambling habits. He wasn't actually betting, he was actually backing a winner because He had the knowledge. That's my approach to options trading, backing a winner because I know it's a winner. And using options to seriously 10x the upside. As I get more experienced in options I will likely go shorter and take larger risk, probably buy and sell more, but baby steps for now. I suppose my winning trade strategy is options to me have always been more about a bet, rather than an intelligent investment. And gambler's well I've met a few, they only tell you about their wins, and never there losses. please feel free to follow me, I will share all trades, positive or negative. And I would seriously love more constructive comments on my posts. As I have said, I'm an options bunny. If you are a technical trader please explain yourself, in simple terms. Actually I lay down a challenge... yep, I'll be controversial, if you use excessive jargon then you don't understand. To truly understand something you have to teach it so that others understand. Nuts I said it lol.@Samlunch @TigerClub @OptionsDelta @Tiger_chat @TigerPM @Daily_Discussion @TigerPicks
