Option Strategies: PATH, S& SNOW

Selling For Premium
2024-12-05

Hello everyone! Today i want to share some option strategies with you!

1.

$UiPath(PATH)$ releases earnings after market close on Thursday. Got a long position in shares from an assignment at the $15 strike from two earnings releases ago (on that big drop). Been holding the losing position ever since, but selling calls against it to lower the cost basis.

Today, PATH got back above 15 and we have the Dec 6 $16 strike covered calls on it. Debating whether to:

- 1) hold the call thru earnings

- 2) roll the call to capture more potential upside if PATH pumps post-earnings (there is a very big upside gap at 18)

- 3) buy back the call and sell the shares while price is above 15 (we would walk away with net profit on the overall trade, closing this long hold as a win)

Don't have optionselling plans to sell any puts since we already have a long position, but if we do it would be to go conservative and sell the bottom at the 10 or 11 put strike.

2.

$SentinelOne, Inc(S)$ announces earnings after market close today. Looking at optionselling the 22 or 23 put strike for Dec 6 or 13 expiration. Will take assignment if strike gets breached.

3.

Had a target of 185 on $Snowflake(SNOW)$ and it hit today. Looks like the breakout from the bull flag is to the upside. Will be watching for price action confirmation over the coming days to see if this will be a sustained continued drift up. Huge upside gap around 225 ... will it act as a magnet, we shall see.
