The annual $NASDAQ 100(NDX)$ adjustment is set to be announced on December 13.

Based on market capitalization rankings, several companies are likely to join the index, including high performers like $Palantir Technologies Inc.(PLTR)$ (up 347.4% YTD) and $MicroStrategy(MSTR)$ (up over 500% YTD), along with $Equinix(EQIX)$ , $CME Group Inc(CME)$ , $Interactive Brokers(IBKR)$ and $Coinbase Global, Inc.(COIN)$

Meanwhile, six companies, led by $Moderna, Inc.(MRNA)$ , $SUPER MICRO COMPUTER INC(SMCI)$, $Biogen(BIIB)$, $CDW Corp(CDW)$ and $MongoDB Inc.(MDB)$ , are at risk of being dropped from the index.

On Saturday, the Nasdaq 100 announced its annual index rebalancing, adding three companies: Palantir, MicroStrategy, and Axon, while removing Illumina, AMD, and Moderna. However, the two star stocks pull back yesterday.
