Lady Gaga’s concerts in Singapore definitely benefit Singapore tourism, hospitality, hotels and airlines stocks such as $SIA(C6L.SI)$. These concerts have provided holiday-like boosts to Singapore’s inbound tourism demand. Many tourists come to Singapore as their holiday getaway and for the Laga Gaga concerts. Notice that the Lady Gaga -themed Light & Water Shows every night from May 12 to 24 at the Marina Bay Sands are always full with tourists. Singaporeans are more happy than feeling inconveniencedwith the city-wide coordinations for all these super stars concerts. There’s surely more boon than bane for Singapore. Gaga in the Lion City: Will it Lift SG Hospitality and Airline Stocks?
Lady Gaga is performing at the Singapore National Stadium this week with a total of four shows on May 18, 19, 21, and 24, 2025. Last year, Taylor Swift’s concerts in Singapore were also heavily subsidized by the government. However, for Gaga’s current concerts, the Singapore government claims there are no additional subsidies. Do you support Singapore becoming Southeast Asia’s premier destination for international concerts? Which stocks could benefit from the concerts Would you go see the concert yourself?
