Some brilliant articles posted by the Tiger Trade community. Well done Tiger Traders & Investors.

The markets have indeed been pretty volatile of late since Trump took office in 2025 , however there have indeed been many factors contributing to this volatility, namely the many uncertainties that exist and or present itself as mentioned below.

1. Geopolitical situations: Ukraine-Russia.

2. Middle East conflicts: Israel-Hamas-Iran.

3. Trumps Trade policies with the world.

4. Weather events costing the U.S. $24 Billion as communities, suburbs & neighbourhoods feel the brunt of these events.

5. Political battles between the Republicans & Democrats like never seen before Including border control and mass deportations.

6. The DOGE situation including negative media reporting.

7. The Tesla attacks.

8. The Trump - Elon saga & split.

9. Interest rates remaining higher for longer by Jerome Powel while Trump says he needs to lower.

All of the above and much more are reasons currently affecting the markets and its volatility as it becomes more costly for businesses to borrow at higher interest rates with the cost of labour  increasing once the mass deportations have been completed , and yes the markets have been pretty expensive at a  P/E of 20 and above.

So , how do we preserve & protect our wealth going forward ?

Do we wait for the Pullback ?

Do we buy the dip ? Or

Do we sell & hold cash or

Do we buy Gold ? 🙈😂

Well, here's my take on it .

Find yourself a reliable store of value , an asset class that preserves and grows your wealth over time, no matter what the situation is going forward.

We saw Visa, PayPal & Mastercard lose 4-6 % on the news of Amazon and Walmart looking at creating their own stablecoins.

We know the new kid on the block is cryptocurrency and yes you're correct it's pretty volatile.

Bitcoin has in my opinion presented itself as a store of value like no other asset in the last 5 years, & yes I have provided posts with returns that reflect this over 10 years and comparing Bitcoins return to that of Gold.

Bitcoin provided you with Billions in return on your initial $1000 investment while Gold gave you a $2000 return over 10 years.

While we are on the topic of cryptocurrencies, where are the other opportunities you may ask... well we know there are currently 9 spot ETF requests pending with the SEC on the XRP token, this will facilitate the cross border payments and settlement within a few seconds and at a minuscule payment.

Yes the Ripple-SEC lawsuit needs resolution however Ripple will in my opinion be the leaders when it comes to replacing the old , antiquated , slow and expensive Swift system as they have already signed deals with over 300 financial institutions and businesses.

This post was about preserving wealth and which asset class to invest in for the future, well, can you afford to ride the volatility of the current markets or are you ready to have your finger in the pie of Bitcoin & XRP ? This provides you with some diversification other than your stocks unless of course you're a firm believer of Unsupervised FSD !!!!

Note: The post is for educational purposes only, remember Cryptocurrencies are volatile, so do your own research before you decide to invest and or buy any asset class. Please consult a financial advisor for any advice or help.

Happy investing Tigers !!!
