$Silvercorp Metals Inc(SVM)$ sharing for coins... nearly forgot about it... World Cup has turned my hours upside down... 🙃 even when US trading hours are the same time, my struggle is between sleep and watching for possible goals! [Facepalm]  [Tongue]  [Silence]  It is once every 4 years after all, never mind COVID...

Silver price crushed lately, leading to not so favourable Silvercorp Metals pricing. The RSI is closer to 30 (oversold) than 70. The MACD is also on the negative. So yes, Silvercorp doesn't look good at the moment with inflation in US and the rest of the world pushing central banks to either raise rates or looking into raising. However, with oil prices coming down as the US-Iranian war (Israeli too) winding down a little, inflationary pressure might come slightly down. I say 'might', since the uncertainty around a proper deal is still high. Furthermore, oil price is unlikely to correct much from here. With the infrastructure around the war zone destroyed in Middle East, it would take a long while before the oil shipment to be back to normal.

To throw spanner 🔧 into the work, all these AI push that resulted in simultaneous push everywhere to get infrastructure ready will have a big impact on commodity prices, leading to further runaway inflation. Add geopolitical tensions between US and China, not forgetting US and Europe, there would be lots of duplicated infrastructural requirements. This would no doubt add to more inflationary pressure.

What happens then? If US FED chose to hold the rate and stay behind yield curve, which is very likely under Trump's administration, the inflation would stay higher for longer than necessary. What better hedge than for inflation than gold and various precious metals. Retailers who played the ETFs could continue to sell off their gold and silver ETFs while central bankers all over the world continued to load up... this is at least what it appears like as dedollarisation continues under Trump administration.
