$SPDR S&P 500 ETF Trust(SPY)$ & $Invesco QQQ(QQQ)$ Below 10- and 20-MA: My Market Posture Review After a Gap-Down Day Focused on Near-Term Opportunities

$SPY and $QQQ are now both below 10 and 20-MA but macro backdrop remains healthy. Defensive may be favored in the short term as witness in yesterday's market close.

$Financial Select Sector SPDR Fund(XLF)$ +0.9%

$Utilities Select Sector SPDR Fund(XLU)$ +1.3%

$Real Estate Select Sector SPDR Fund(XLRE)$ +2.7%

$Health Care Select Sector SPDR Fund(XLV)$ +2.3% vs

$Technology Select Sector SPDR Fund(XLK)$ -3.7%

$Industrial Select Sector SPDR Fund(XLI)$ -1.3%

$Consumer Discretionary Select Sector SPDR Fund(XLY)$ -2.7%.

Many of my watchlist names were hit with gap-down opens, creating overhead resistance that now needs to be reclaimed. On the flip side, it also presents an opportunity to clean up and streamline the watchlist. Today, there remains least 20 highly liquid stocks still building constructively without gap-down damage, making them top priority candidates.

My personal is if you are positioned and been riding the $Valkyrie Bitcoin Miners ETF(WGMI)$ $iShares Semiconductor ETF(SOXX)$ $Roundhill Memory ETF(DRAM)$ led surge through names like $Hut 8 Mining Corp(HUT)$ $Micron Technology(MU)$ $BlackBerry(BB)$ $SanDisk Corp.(SNDK)$ $Credo Technology Group Holding Ltd(CRDO)$ , hold your positions but avoid adding at current levels.

For new exposure, I will pilot test the market with top-down from potential intraday ORH in $E-mini S&P 500 - main 2609(ESmain)$ S&P500 spot (only 30% LoD of ATR) at current rising 50-MA via $Direxion Daily S&P 500 Bull 3X Shares ETF(SPXL)$ only during market session, while continuing to build and streamline the current watchlist of stocks day over day.
